Ehh, true and I can have it backed by large deposits of precious metals to keep such an idea up. I'll think about it.

I remember learning something about that. But Ego shouldn't be in economic debt for a long time once I implement a currency and maybe stock market in the forum of large moneychangers and such.

I know, but putting yourself strategically in debt might be beneficial, since the introduction of the dollar made europes economy skyrocket.

Well, consider this. How did the Dutch economy do better than everybody else's? They didn't have much land, natural resources, or population, but they had one thing a lot a lot of gold. Their economy was the best result for gold economy's but when the dollar came in it changed things, and the Dutch was no longer the top economy. You see in Europe at this time mercantilism is a big thing, so rather then trading with other nations it was common to only trade with yourself and your colonies. Why? Because if you lose gold then your economy had less gold so there was less economic potential. When the economic potential lowers, then typically the economy drops slightly. This is why Spain was a Empire at this period, because they had lots of gold. Anyways when the dollar was introduce a massive economic boom happened across Europe making practically every European nation rich, so this started convincing nations to start trading with eachother, since at this point economic potential was so high that it wasn't a concern anymore and if there was a issue all they had to do was increase or decrease the amount of dollars.
Anyways you wouldn't want to fall behind would you?

So if I introduced the dollar, Ego may become an economic powerhouse? I mean I'm already falling behind because I'm young and such but I guess I can form the dollar to help Native Americans across the Mississippi Silk Road.

I imagine at some point in the future, all of our nations will be so advanced that it will resemble modern day life.

RP Sample: If I'm accepted I want to add more to this before making it my first post, but its late, I'm tired, and I feel this is long enough for just a sampleAs I awoke I noticed five distinct things in a very specific order. One, I had a splitting headache of unknown origin. Two, my typically soft bed was surprisingly hard, lumpy, and overall uncomfortable. Three, my air conditioner wasn't working, because the air felt far more hot and humid than it had any right being. Four, as I opened my eyes, I saw a very serious looking man standing over my body with what appeared to be a rusted knife hovering over my throat. Finally, five, there were about a dozen other men of similar armament standing a few feet away from us.
The man right next to me seemed to be saying something, but unfortunately for the both of us he was speaking directly into my bad ear. Typically I would just turn my head so as to hear with my other ear, but the all-encompassing fear that had over taken me at this point made any movement a bit beyond my current capabilities. Thankfully the man seemed to take pity on my fearful expression, as his face took on a contemplative look for a few minutes before he put away his knife and even stretched out his hand to help me up. I, shakily, accepted his hand and got onto my feet.
"My apologies, I thought you to be one of the mountain men, but no mountain man I know would meet a knife with indecision." The man spoke. With the threat of death no longer hanging over me I managed to calm down enough to get a better look at him. He had a darker skin tone, seemed to be at least middle-aged with graying black hair, he was rocking a beard I wish I could have, and he was at least a foot and a half shorter than me. He seemed to be... Indian? That can't be right, I live in the middle of cornfields, USA; I'm not aware of any Indian families living in town. Or any of the towns nearby for that matter. Does that mean I'm far from home? Or were they just passing through when they found my body? Why did I wake up outside in the first place? WHY DID I WAKE UP WITH A KNIFE TO MY THROAT? Am I being kidnapped? But why would he be apologizing then? This confused jumble of thoughts continued to occupy my mind before it all came to a crashing stop at one realization.
"Could you repeat that plEA-!" I didn't finish my own sentence before clamping my hand over my mouth in surprise. What I just spoke, and what this man just told me, definitely wasn't English. Neither was it Greek, and with all the languages I know how to speak out of the way that begs the question of just HOW I am understanding and talking with this man. Just what in the hell is going on-
Stop. Breathe in. Breathe out. Panicking won't help, just be grateful you can communicate. Questions won't find answers till they are asked. With my thoughts somewhat in order I turned back to the man to see the group behind him looking at me with understandably weirded out expression as I had my mental meltdown, but he himself just continued to stand there with a small amiable smile. I opened my mouth to speak and again foreign words came out of it, but I ignored the strangeness of it.
"I can't help but feel we are both missing some context here."

Yeah, and if you can also help me destroy Yekrenia, I'll ally with you. I'll help with your military plans in East Asia. Not with the Sunset Invasion though; too far away.

Brightlords are essentially civilian administrators whose purview is a relatively large geographical area which contains one or more settlements that the Imperium considers a large city. So creating economic policy, allocating resources, appointing Citylords, and so on. I doubt Brittany technically possesses any large cities, but it is a convenient shorthand for what is essentially a high-tier official.
