Partially, I think. Some perception skew, precog and teleportation dimensional tunelling thrown in for good measure, too. With the downside being that he still percieves himself as being human, so using his powers too much causes a craptonne of mental strain.

A female named Aurelia/Lucida Meyer. Formerly a human with the ability to shapeshift, but no longer has such abiliities. Aspires to be a marine biologist. Went swimming in lake, got eaten by jellyfish monster. Jellyfish monster disappears and is presumably killed via pollution. Jellyfish monster does not die. Aurelia/Lucida takes over jellyfish body and somehow acquires a humanoid form (these are the last acts of shapeshifting she performs). She eventually learns how to use her prehensile tentacles, but realizes she can no longer jump or drink alcohol, the latter of which is poisonous. Goes home and attempts to resume normal life.

Personality and backstory. I was thinking of having an energetic, curious, and indecisive individual, but I don't know what other personality traits she would have.

When I write a personality, I usually ask a few questions, then wing it based off how the character comes off when I write.

1) Is this character an introvert, extrovert, or a bit of both? How willing are they to be alone, and how willing are they to talk to others?

2) How trusting is this character? Do they trust only their friends, or are they willing to trust most people?

3) What's their temper like? Are they willing to shrug off most insults, or do they fly into a rage?

4) What's the morality of this character? Are they duty bound and honorable, do they lie and cheat when it suits them, or are they somewhere in the middle?

5) How does this character see the world and others? Are they serious and cynical, as such are always noting flaws in others? Or are they laid back and optimistic, and as such see the bright side of things and always joke around?

There are of course others, but I think those questions probably matter the most when it comes to RPing as those are the situations your character will likely be in.
