You can safely ignore the Inca reservation for now, I can't find it, and even if it existed at some point, we can safely ignore it. You could get Guinea, Amazonas, and Peru if you'd like.

No, a post from a previous iteration of AD will do. Maybe post a link to it just for the sake of form. We do like our bureaucracy.

Territorial Claim : Western New Guinea, eastern Indonesian islands and East Timor, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Tonga, the Solomon Islands
Capital City : Kyoto
Population : 41.9 million (27.1 million for the home islands; 14.8 million in colonies).
Government Type : Ceremonial diarchy under traditionalist hereditary dictatorship
Government Ideology/Policies : Imperialism, mercantilism, traditionalism, Confucianism
Government Focus : Economic growth, maintaining dominant position in the Pacific, colonial expansion.
Head of State : Their Imperial Majesties, the Emperors of the Northern and Southern Courts.
Head of Government : Her Highness the Imperial Regent, Lady Toyotomi Hinami.
Government Description : The ultimate fount of all authority is considered to be the two co-emperors of Japan, who rule by virtue of their descent from the sun deity, Amaterasu-Omikami. In practice, however, authority is exercised by the Toyotomi clan as imperial regents or kampaku. There are two parallel governments within the Japanese Empire- one for the home islands of the Japanese people, referred to as Yamatokoku (大和国), and one for the overseas empire, known as the state of the sea or Kaikoku (海国), often translated as thalassocracy. Since all relations with tributary and barbarian states is dealt with by the Kaikoku-seifu (海国政府), the thalassocratic government, the latter is generally recognised as the relevant sovereign entity by foreign powers who refer to Japan in formal terms as 大日本海国, Dai Nippon Kaikoku. The supreme head of both governments is the kampaku (関白), meaning civil dictator or regent. The government of Yamatokoku consists of the Council of State, the Daijō-kan (太政官), and the Eight Ministries. In practice the imperial regent generally deals mostly with the affairs of the Kaikoku, whilst the Chancellor of the Realm (Daijō-daijin, 太政大臣), an official appointed by the regent, heads the administration of the Yamatokoku. The Kaikoku-seifu is formed of three secretariats, the Secretariat of Martial Affairs, the Secretariat of External Relations and the Secretariat of Civil Administration. The first oversees the defence of the Japanese empire; the second deals with foreign affairs, and the last is responsible for appointing colonial officials, collecting revenue and overseeing the implementation of justice outside the home islands. Each is headed by a secretary appointed by the regent.
Majority/State Religion : Most Japanese practise a combination of Shinto, Buddhism and Confucianism.
Economic Ideologies : Mercantilism
Major Production : Coal, steel, foodstuffs, luxury goods such as tea, silk and furniture
Economic Description : Japan has one of the strongest economies in the world. It is an industrialised power, the second in East Asia after Korea, and dominates maritime commerce in the Pacific. Much of Japan's colonial expansion has been driven by the need to fuel industrialisation by acquiring new sources of fossil fuels, which are scarce in the home islands. Japan is also a major producer of many luxury and manufactured goods. The government has an interventionist approach to economics, maintaining a close relationship with the powerful merchant clans that control most of the economy. Protectionist and mercantilist policies are in place to encourage production within the empire and reduce the outflow of wealth from importing foreign goods. The basics of a welfare state are beginning to be implemented, based on Confucian ideals of reciprocal loyalty between lords (employers) and servants (employees), and prompted by unrest at the poor conditions faced by workers.
Tech Level: 9
Army Strength : 822,560 troops strong, efficiently organised and fanatically loyal. Japanese culture promotes courage in battle and troops would rather die than surrender to the enemy.
Army Weakness : The officer class, largely drawn from old samurai families, remain highly conservative in outlook and are yet to fully accept modern military doctrine and reconcile it with the samurai warrior code, whilst the rank-and-file are largely made up of ill-equipped and poorly-trained conscripts. Japan's army suffers from a lack of cavalry and artillery.
Naval Strength : The Imperial Japanese Navy (日本海軍, Nippon Kaigun) is one of the largest and best funded naval forces in East Asia. Its newest ships are among the world's most technologically advanced, and the Japanese have a strong naval tradition with a well established, tried and tested naval doctrine.
Naval Weakness : Decades of complacency have eroded the technological edge of Japan's fleets, with many ships being somewhat outdated, and it will take time to fully replace them with newer classes. Additionally many of the navy's officers achieved their position by birth rather than through merit, and are untested in a real battle scenario.
Further Military Description : TBA
National Goals : To consolidate Japan's position as the main naval power in the Pacific, expand Japanese territory in southern Polynesia, Indonesia and Australasia, and keep rival colonial powers out of its sphere of influence.
National Issues : Japan faces the challenge of fully modernising its large but increasingly outdated naval forces, ending its diplomatic isolation by securing new alliances, and strengthening the army in order to defend and expand its continental possessions. Additionally, the Empire faces factionalism amongst the ruling elites at home and the threat of insurgency from its colonies.
National Figures of Interest :National Ambition/Aspirations : To become the leader of a politically and economically dominant coalition of countries under East Asian cultural influence, pursuing a civilising mission amongst the barbarians of the world. Hakkō ichiu.
- Emperor of the Southern Court (南朝天皇, Nanchō Tennō): Personal name Yutanari (寛成). 58 years old. The older of Japan's co-sovereigns, Yutanari was known in his youth for his profligacy and inattention to study, preferring to spend time gambling, hunting and pursuing women. However his attitudes have changed with age, and he has become increasingly conservative, adopting an ascetic lifestyle and performing his obligations as emperor with dutiful devotion. Maintains a strictly Confucian court with close attention to protocol, but also a deeply devoted Zen Buddhist. His era name is Shōzū (正崇), meaning "upright and honourable."
- Emperor of the Northern Court (北朝天皇, Hokuchō Tennō): Personal name Kenshō (賢章). 19 years old. The younger of Japan's co-sovereigns, only a year into his reign following the abdication of his grandfather. Bright, idealistic and open-minded, the Northern Emperor is known to be pro-reform whilst remaining a devoted Confucian. Although dutiful he is more inclined to question the established way of doing things than his southern counterpart. His era name is Shōkyō (昌慶), meaning "prosperous and jubilant."
- Toyotomi Hinami (豊臣日南): 31 years old. The first woman to hold the title of kampaku, Lady Hinami is the daughter of previous imperial regent Toyotomi Hatsuo. She succeeded him as regent due to the lack of male heirs, with her father asking for and being granted a special edict approved by both emperors allowing the position to be filled by a woman in order to secure her legitimacy. Her husband, Toyotomi Motozane, is the head of a junior branch of the Toyotomi clan, although said branch broke off from the main line some 200 years ago, meaning the couple are not closely related. Their marriage was arranged to secure the Toyotomi clan's control of the office of regent. Charming and cultured, Hinami has proven a capable leader, embodying the ideal of the Yamato-Nadeshiko; a proper lady with a streak of iron. Her rule has been characterised by cautious reform and an increasingly ambitious and assertive foreign policy.

The Executive Branch includes the President, Vice President, and the Presidential Cabinet and is responsible for enforcing laws passed by the Legislative Branch and acting as the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces.
The Legislative Branch is a bicameral Congress composed of the Senate and House of Representatives. Each of the eleven states in the country receives two senators and one representative for every 250,000 citizens for a total of 16 senators and 81 representatives. Congress proposes and ratifies bills, passing them into law for the President to sign and enforce.
The Judicial Branch consists of the Federal Supreme Court, Federal Appellate Courts, and Federal Circuit Courts and is tasked with interpreting the Constitution and trying major crimes that fall outside of state or local jurisdiction.
Majority/State Religion : Protestant Christianity
Religious Description : Southern Baptist Christianity. Look it up. I don't know anything about it, I'm not Baptist.
Economic Ideologies : Laissez faire capitalism
Major Production : 47% agricultural (hogs, cattle, sheep, cotton, tobacco, sugarcane) 53% industrial (iron, steel, firearms, ships, textiles)
Economic Description : The Confederate economy is a capitalist economy with substantial agriculture and industry. There is also substantial income inequality, with virtually all of the wealth held by the white population due to the racist apartheid policies adopted by the government in 1895.
Tech Level: 9.6 (I am assuming that, by bleeding edge of technology, you mean EXTREMELY primitive self-loading rifles, Maxim gun variations, early dreadnoughts, Wright Flyer, primitive autocars, etc.)
Army Strength : The Confederate Army is large, well equipped, and well trained, with much of its military power based on the border with the UKA and the Aztecs.
Army Weakness : The Confederate Army is led by a large number of generals trained during the 1870s and 1880s and as such are often needlessly risked forming antiquated line formations. However, studies of new machine guns are gradually leading to the reform of the Army's tactics and organization.
Naval Strength : The Confederate Navy boasts a powerful and modern surface fleet, with numerous large capital ships, including more than 40 battleships.
Naval Weakness : The Confederate Navy lacks a substantial submarine force, limiting their ability to interdict enemy shipping.
Further Military Description : The Confederate Army has 10 Cavalry Divisions, 94 Infantry and Reserve Divisions, 31 Independent Brigades, 19 Coastal Artillery Battalions, and 10 major coastal forts, with numerous forts strung along the border with the Aztecs and the UKA.
A Cavalry Division has a total of 9,216 men, 9,518 horses, 448 wagons, 430 bicycles, 24 76.2mm guns, and 24 Tredegar Machine Guns. These are allocated to a headquarters company of 96 men, 4 cavalry regiments of 1,718 men each, 4 artillery batteries of 420 men each, 191 men in a Field Engineers Company, 206 men in a Signal Engineers Company, 26 men in a quartermasters section, and 4 field ambulances with 124 men each.
A typical infantry division consists of 18,000 men, 4,600 horses, 24 machine guns, and 72 field guns. The division has two Infantry Brigades of 6,780 men each, each with two Infantry Regiments of 3,390 men, consisting of three infantry battalions and a machine gun company of 150 men each, an artillery brigade with two artillery regiments of two artillery battalions, a cavalry squadron, engineer company, medical battalion, signal company, and quartermasters battalion.
The Confederate Navy boasts an impressive fleet with 35 Battleships, 11 Battlecruisers, 4 Armored Cruisers, 37 Light Cruisers, 3 Protected Cruisers, 160 Destroyers and flotilla leaders, and 14 submarines in the Atlantic Fleet. The Caribbean Fleet boasted an addition 18 Battleships, 5 Battlecruisers, 14 Light Cruisers, 60 Destroyers and Flotilla Leaders, and 25 Submarines. The River Fleet boasted 44 Torpedo Boats and 58 River Monitors.
National Goals : To reclaim Virginia from UKA (peacefully if possible), to capture Louisiana and Texas to exploit their resources
National Issues : Race Relations (not that the government will ever admit that), Income inequality (not that the government is likely to admit it)
National Figures of Interest : Major General Jeffery T. Graves, Senator Timothy W. Wing, Marvin Tredegar, Rigel Goldberg
National Ambition/Aspirations : To become the most powerful nation in North America
History : In 1785, the states of South Carolina, Georgia, North Carolina, and Virginia seceded from the United Kingdom of America, forming the Confederate States of America. Over the next several decades, the Confederacy would expand, adopting a constitution that gave broad powers to the Federal Government but also gave more specific powers to the states. Negotiations with the UKA in the hopes of a peaceful resolution, though continuous, were ultimately fruitless.
Events came to a head in 1836 when, concerned about the potential expansion of slavery and finally given an excuse to punish the South, the UKA invaded Virginia. In the bloody four year war that followed, Richmond and Petersburg burned as did Baltimore and Harrisburg. In the end the UKA had claimed large territories from the Indigenas to the west and the state of Virginia, in reparation from the South. The peace with the CSA was formalised with the Armistice of Appomattox in 1840.
In 1860, bitter after the defeat in the Virginia War, the CSA launched a brutal surprise attack into Virginia with the aim of retaking it. A Confederate Army of 140,000 men entered Virginia and began the brutal task of retaking the homeland of some of the Confederacy’s greatest military leaders. The Army was led by the now 53 year old Army Officer Robert Edward Lee, who succeeded in handing the UKA some rather sound defeats. The Second Virginia War lasted for five long years and killed some 700,000 men. The war left Virginia in a sorry state and still in UKA hands.
After the War, the Confederacy began the laborious three decade process of rebuilding and growing its economy. The loss of the Northern Factories forced the South to build more factories and shipyards, a process taking the better part of the next twenty five years. During this time, additional economic pressure from Europe forced the Confederate Government to free the African slaves from bondage in 1890. However, the Confederate Government did not enforce the emancipation and so many African-Americans remained enslaved in all but name. The former slaves were not granted citizenship and, as such, were unable to vote and, in many districts, were denied many basic constitutional rights, such as assembly, association, and even trial by jury.
The situation of African-Americans in the Confederacy has not improved much in recent years, though one could argue quite well that their situation hasn’t improved at all, however the economic situation of the Confederacy itself has never been better. The economy is on the rise, with a Gross Domestic Product of approximately $100 billion, or $3.4 trillion in 2016 dollars, up from $42 billion in 1890.

History: For centuries, the people of the Arabian peninsula lived isolated lives. There was no Arab nation, only tribes that roamed the deserts, hoping from oasis to oasis, raising cattle and just surviving. This was once not the case, for once all of Arabia and the land of sand was ruled by a mighty caliphate, created by the successors of Gods Prophet himself. They ruled a land, not of tribes, but of one Arab people. Then the Romans came, and the Arab people stood their ground, only to fall to Persian daggers lodged in their backs. The Caliphate fell, and Arabia slowly was obsorbed by the empire of new.
All has been conquered, except for one place. The inhospitable Arabian Peninsula; a vast track of uncrossable desert, where no Roman or Persian has dared to step foot in. There, the Arab peoples ran, there God gave them shelter. There, the centuries of Tribes went on, before an act of god ended it. In his sleep, Hussein bin Ali recieved the word of god. He called for Hussein, he called for him to do his work and to reunited the peoples of the Desert, to once more form a land of Arabs, ruled by neither Roman or Persian.
He took his rightful place as the Emir of Mecca, and began to expand his power. Over the many years, he began to assimilate more and more power, absorbing new Tribes into his control through Bribes, Diplomacy and when needed, Force. In 1880, he declared the Republic of Arabia, and he moved his government to the city of Riyadh, so as to be more central to the empire. In 1892, Hussein died of a tumor, and the nation was sent into a panic. For all these years, Hussein had ruled as a dictator, but now without him here there was no power. A collection of city leaders met in Riyadh, conveening the first ever Peoples Assembly. They passed the first, and only, law to be passed by the Assembly, a law which ammended the Consititution to force Emir's to serve One Ten year term.
After Hussein, a new Emir had been elected, Ali bin Hussein. He brought about many Economical Reforms, including subsidies on the Mining and Shipping industry, along with the creation of the Arabian Colonies on the Horn of Africa. He built Arabia's first official Fleet of ships, which began to protect trading in Arabian Waters from the infamous pirates of the area, along with enforcing Arabian rule in the Colonies. When the days flew by, and the new millenium came, Hussein stepped down, and the next Emir of Arabia was elected; Faisal I.

Don't quote me on that, but the military numbers might be too high. Especially in the navy, if it was established only a few years earlier, I sort of doubt that it could reach such a size, even if you are in a prime position to become a naval power in the future.
