This is the realistic version of that movie, then.

The Roswell autopsy video finally surfaced and the GOVERNMENT is still silent about what happened there. I'll demand Congressional investigation about existence of life in other planets and cattle mutilation as soon as the House comes back to resume its work.

Putnam Science Academy
Putnam, CT

Carter Roberts felt a little more at home with this campaign stop than some of the others. The school who graciously allowed him to speak was a science-focused private high school/college prep school with an outstanding basketball program. Science, technology, education, and basketball were all things that he knew how to talk about, politics and social issues not as much, so he knew to stick to the basics this time around.

A crowd comprised of high schoolers, teachers, parents, community members, and Roberts supporters had packed the stands in the gymnasium, ready to hear the NBA All-Star and what he wanted to do in the Senate once elected.

"Hello everybody, and may I say, I am so glad to be here at Putnam for the evening! Before I begin, I want to remind everyone that today is the last day of my week-long donation drive for the victims of the Dillon, MT shooting. Please visit one of the booths nearby when you get the chance, or go to our website to donate."

"But just because this drive is over, doesn't mean the donations are over. Campaigning and hopefully representing you in the Senate is a full-time job for me, so my wife Kara has chosen to take on the project as a long-term non-profit. The has led to plans that are in the works for Compassionate Connecticut, a group of Connecticut residents who want to help our neighbors in other states who are victims of school shootings and national disasters around the country. I'm so proud of my wife for starting that! And I'm so glad that my idea to help out hurting Americans is taking form as something bigger! I couldn't have done any of this without all the donations from wonderful Americans, and it just shows how one act of kindness can turn into something so great. When we choose love over hate and division, we can achieve so much."

"Speaking of achievement, I know that is something that this school knows a little about. Whether in the classroom or right here on a basketball court, you guys exemplify the kind of effort and goal-reaching ambition that many in our country have neglected. It's time to bring that back. I know it's cliché, but I like to think of America as one big team. You know what team stands for? Together Everyone Achieves More!"

"Sure, that acronym has maybe lost it's power a little bit over the years, but it still holds true. As a nation, when we cooperate, when we work together, everyone achieves more."

"JFK knew about banding together as a country and achieving greatness. That's why he did everything he could to get Americans on the Moon. But we haven't been back in almost 50 years!"

"America was founded on exploration. There isn't a whole lot more space on Earth to explore, we need to reach new frontiers. That's why I am urging our leaders to send men back to the moon in the next 4 years, establish a lunar base in the next 6 years, and get us to Mars in the next 20 years. The scientific knowledge we will gain will be outstanding, and America will return to our ways of looking for what's over the horizon, what new lands we have to explore."

"But if we have the technology, others will get it too. As we get back to the Moon and beyond, we will need to protect the interests of Americans who venture beyond the stratosphere. That's why I see necessity in building a Space Force, a new military branch which will be solely occupied with defense of our extra-planetary ambitions. Think of it this way: NASA should be our Lewis & Clark, our explorer-scientist who wander into the unknown, while our Space Force will be focused on keeping them, and all Americans safe."

"For America to achieve great things, we also need the funds. That means our government needs to balance its budget, our policies need to be beneficial for business, and our wages need to be livable; a fair wage for a fair day of work. That's part of what built this country in the first place."

"Another thing Americans will need to achieve our goals is opportunities. But so many aren't given an opportunity from the start. It breaks my heart to know that people that could have cured cancer, gone into space, or invented brilliant new technology, that they will never have the opportunity because they couldn't afford college. That's why, when elected to the Senate, I will propose legislation to make federal student loans interest-free, and to make college completely free to all US Military Veterans."

"Earlier I mentioned visiting new frontiers in space. But we also need to explore new frontiers of the mind. We need young people, like the bright young men and women at this high school, to step up and begin digging into science and technology with passion and zeal. We have done so much on the technological front since our nation's founding, more progress to the future than the pre-America world could ever dream up. America is the key to unlocking greater technological, social, economic, and scientific progress in this world, the laboratory in which so much of our world's growth has been developed. We can't get bogged down with division, hate, and general mistrust of our fellow American. We must rise to the challenges that the 21st century presents us, and I am calling on every one of you, young or old, of any race, religion, class, everyone, to step up and face these challenges head-on."

"My opponents are respectable men, but they are politicians at heart. They're more concerned with party politics. Party politics are a huge contributor to the division in this country! We need to put down our red, blue, and green signs and start waving the flag of the red, white, and blue instead! When politics divides us, we turn into the America of the Winston administration; a bunch of angry people hating our neighbors and achieving nothing. But when we put aside politics and work together as a team, we can do great things. Whether that's going to the moon, starting fantastic new businesses, inventing new things, curing diseases, or simply helping out our neighbors in need, we gotta learn to work together."

"If you think party politics and the status quo is the way to go, then I don't blame you if you vote for the other guys. But if you believe in America as a land that is not finished achieving the things it is capable of, if you believe in our growth, if you believe in loving your neighbor, if you believe in teamwork as a nation, if you believe that this is a America is a special place that is destined to better society, then I encourage you to vote for me. Because my style is not about team red, team blue, or team green, it's about team you. It's about America, and me working my hardest as a Senator to help America, as well as individual Americans, fulfill their potential. Thank you, and have a wonderful night."

“Not a fan.” He expressed, shrugging before shifting in his chair. “I’m sorry Mr. Vice President, but how is that relevant to if I am fit for employment?” He asked, only a little bit jokingly.

Glen Anderson Campaign Stop
Adams County, PA just outside Gettysburg
Image

After a day touring Gettysburg with his daughter Congressman Glen Anderson made a speech to a crowd of supporters.

Hello Adams County! Its a pleasure to be here today, I have lost count of the number of times ive come to Adams County to visit the battlefield of Gettysburg, to continue my family’s tradition of coming to the Nation Apple Harvest, a tradition I am passing on to my daughter, and enjoying possibly the best ice cream in the state. Rural communities like this are the backbone of our state and our nation, main streets like this one lined with small businesses and entrepreneurs are the very essence of America. I’m proud to represent and support towns and cities just like this.

Its for towns like this that I wrote legislation like the 21st Century Agriculture Act, which amends the tax code to reflect the modern realities of farming, lowering the cost of doing business and making things easier, a goal I will continue as your governor. For towns like this I wrote the Student Fiscal Literacy Act, supports schools that try and teach their students practical financial literacy, how to balance a checkbook, save for the future and make smart financial choices that let them pursue the American dream.

For towns like this I authored the Save Local and Small Business Act, which rewrote regulations a rules governing businesses on main street, making it easier to do business, lowering taxes and increasing investment in the small businesses that need and deserve it the most. It reforms the worst parts of Dodd-Frank, that have so badly impacted small banks and businesses and made it easier for entrepreneurs to get loans.

For towns like this I wrote the Invent and Manufacture in America Act, which promotes and protects manufacturers in America, not just helping keep our job right here in Pennsylvania, but beginning the process of bringing them back home.

For kids like mine I wrote the Educational Facility Rehabilitation Act, a bill that will help ensure that kids don’t need to attend crumbling schools, schools without heat in the winter or air conditioning in the Summer, because schools should have to worry about teaching children, not whether the facilities are safe. For kids like mine I authored the Strengthening our Pediatric Workforce Act, which encourages doctors to enter into the field of children's health, a field that desperately needs more doctors.

As your governor my agenda will all works towards the prosperity of Pennsylvanians, not select corporations or special interests. I will push for policies that promote charter schools and quality education, doubling down on policies like your county has where residents may apply to attend cyber charter schools with no additional costs to parents. And when we send our children to college I will pursue a policy of openness and much needed transparency regarding tuition and what your children will get out of college.

And when your child get out of college I want to help ensure they will have a job ready for them. 1/3rd of our nations population is within a 24 hour drive, we have a strong work ethic, we are blessed with some of the largest and cheapest deposits of natural gas and coal in the world, our universities are leading advanced research that will change the way we live, we do business and how we care for one another. In the next decade we have the potential to be a global leader in manufacturing and energy exports, we have the potential to be the best educated population in the country and our government can pay its bills without raising taxes. But as it stands the democratic leadership in Harrisburg is a relic, large scale standardization, control, spending and bureaucracy, things do not reflect a highly diverse society, a highly diverse population and a highly diverse state, instead we have an lumbering ‘one size fits all’ government that doesnt fit with the 21st century.

With all our advantages jobs are growing at less than 1% a year, Pennsylvania unemployment increases while the rest of the country decreases. Business and entrepreneurship has been stifled by over taxation and regulation, an unbroken 45 year streak of tax increases. We need new solutions, new innovation not more of the same.

The policies of Harrisburg have resulted in companies like GE sending jobs to Texas, our wealth and factories overseas leaving thousands of Pennsylvanians out of work. The negligence of those in Harrisburg have seen the jobs of skilled craftsman and tradespeople moved thousands of miles away, it has devastated our middle class, it has devastated our nation. Staying on this path and continuing these policies of relentless taxation, and allowing our communities to deteriorate will keep our factories closed, our inner cities poor, and special interests in control.

Jobs will come from a healthy modernized economy not one built behind barriers to growth or handouts to a privileged few through corporate welfare. In congress I have made my first priority the economic security for families, that is something I will continue as governor, building a 21st century economy where people can work hard not just to get by but to thrive and give their children a better life then they had.

Melissa Hotchkiss took a long drag on her cigarette, gratefully accepting the nicotine's calming of her unsteady nerves before breathing out the smoke, cough reflex long since suppressed by years of use. Not decades, though, not quite that long. Outside a one-off as a teenager, she hadn't gotten on the deaths sticks until after her marriage-after her first pregnancy, more accurately, having to deal with another member of the family that she had never expected nor wanted. It seemed that all had done, that quickly-growing need just made the next two all the more unbearable in the stretches that she was again expected to go without, when her body's tormented state had them most desired. She returned after that phase of her life was mercifully closed, but then was made to quit, by necessity and rigid doctor's orders rather than a personal desire, after those stupid, random, devil-sent bullets had her one lung less than she needed, and in no position to damage it. She was stuck on patches most of the time she was stuck in that hospital and through recovery, doing no good for her spirits-but then, with no governorship any longer, no labor save recovery, she might have needed them less. That respite of need would not last her return to domestic life, but the abstinence had stayed some time longer into her second election, until the night after that police shooting once the news had filtered in, she had struck the match. Or was it the strike, actually? The blows of fate could blur together, sometimes, when they battered you as much as they had her.

Whatever their merits for her mind, and form, for that matter, she couldn't make the habit more than a rare occurrence however much she wanted to, she hadn't regrown a respirator. The gaps were just another add-on to any and every other arrow slung in and stuck out of her, but tonight she had thought a return necessary.

It was that blasted, blasted bill, still not through, still not even brought to a vote that could at least provide some closure, still fighting through the process that she had been neck-deep in for months, and all because of whatever fool had put the elections for that fetid chamber in off-years, leaving her abandoned still with a rabble of blue legislators, from the opportunistic sleazers to the stiff-necked pricks, and one that ebbed and flowed like the sea, never letting her gather up enough to make anything secure before retreating elsewhere.

More bumps in the road were assailing her. The lunacy spewing from Stansky's mouth was ludicrous, but it was enough for some of her more wavering cross-aisle acquisitions to start feeling the bubbling fear of primary challenges from the left rising up in them, while the die-hards she was never going to get were upping their own efforts as loudmouths, spurred on by promises of universal care of five times the coverage for seven percent more cost, with all the fervor that only students who failed second-grade math could muster. Ironically enough, the more pragmatic Schlang's presence in the race did something more for her in fighting with the Assembly, and she was starting to consider whether she'd be better suited trying to dig him up and push him forward then hitting her head against the wall like she had been doing. He'd probably beat her-but maybe she could at least get something done along the way.

That was the other bunch of dummies that had sprung up recently, the electioneering Representatives and Senators. They were wondering what the rush was in passing the bill now, instead of waiting for the midterms and letting the people have a say on it. The why was obvious to anyone with eyes, that being the plain fact that delaying that long would mean a flat-out collapse of the system, but that was the whole point of the tactic anyways-hold back a vote because it wasn't time for a vote, then blame her for not getting anything done. Maybe there were a few in there who actually believed the line they were selling instead of it all being a political ploy, but two kinds of cynicism were butting up against each other in figuring out whether or not that was the case, and she wouldn't hazard a guess in either direction.

Still, there were enough sane ones there, personally, if not politically, to get at least something done and through without the travesties apparently hoped for or soon to be blindly stumbled into by the loudmouths and gigglers she was tussling with. She had enough material to work with to make something, at least if she could get it together long enough to hold, which overtime working and wheedling weeks, each after the other, had still failed to make happen.

If she thought about it, she wasn't really sure where her motivations were coming from anymore, why she was running, who for, the point of going with the bill, any of it. She'd been too busy working on it to think of it as anything other than It, the thing she had to do, with re-election lumped into that same category. How had conquered why, and she might have wondered at the reason-but with the cigarette nearly spent, another "Why" question was the last thing she wanted.

"Hey, mom?" a voice sounded, and Hotchkiss swore quietly to herself. Ten blasted minutes, she wanted, but she came back from whiny brats in the statehouse to younger, less well-dressed versions of them here. She sighed, and turned, not even bothering to fake a smile that wouldn't look anything near genuine, but at least partially removing the scowl.

"Yes, József?" a line she was still tired of giving, even if it had been near two years now since last she had in its original context.

"These equations I don't understand...and Gloria is out for the night and..."

"Come on, I'll take a look." she sighed.

Whether Why, or How, it seemed that neither would have the chance to be answered in the face of a new spate of worthlessly mundane questions. Mourning at its end, and nothing truly deeper, Hotchkiss flicked the spent butt away, and, hand having to elevate to even do so in her slippered feet, followed her son inside, hand on his shoulder, resigned to even if small, another dart of fate.

Rally in Trenton

This should be good, home territory. After the barrage of tweets from Republicans and Progressives alike, I can prove to them that I am not some 'joke'. They should watch out before dismissing me and our movement in New Jersey.

Joh was thinking before he stood on stage. On the right moment, Joh began his climb up the short ladder, appearing on stage. He waved to the crowd as they roared his name.

It's been sometime since I arrived back in Trenton. And it's a good feeling. Trenton is the brithplace of our movement, and the very spot that I announced my candidacy. Look how far we've arrived now, we've had debates, advertisement campaigns, union endorsement and grassroots rallying. People doubted us, even after the pundits concluded that I won the primary debate against Schlang. Now, with my interview out, some of them believe they are emboldened to attack us here in New Jersey, attack us for having the gall to think big and bring about an economy of justice. That's why I ask that progressive groups, strong left-wing groups, including unions to endorse my campaign for Governor. The help is irreplaceable because I do not take any corporate money. I can't say that for Schlang, Hotchkiss or Soberman. That's what makes our campaign different from the rest, this is the people's campaign. I represent the people, the worker's of Trenton, and hopefully soon I can represent all of the people and worker's of New Jersey.

Let's just take a moment to talk about my recent interview. I've been called 'anti-business' by Amaras; I wear that badge with honour. Peter Amaras is just a corporate tool, with ugly anti-LGBT views. He felt like slandering me on Twitter, and I prefer not to reply back. Why argue over this social media platform? I'd rather talk to him face to face, and I doubt he'd have the guts to say that to me face to face. Anyway, back to the interview. I mentioned that I wouldn't hold back from land seizure for companies that decide to fire thousands of people our destroy our local economies. My position is that I wouldn't let them leave. Our incompetent leaders, especially Governor Hotchkiss are content with manufacturing jobs leaving our state for overseas or elsewhere. That's why we need new direction. The interviewer from TNS, Reve, said that businesses will flee New Jersey if I'm elected. Wake up! Businesses are already fleeing New Jersey! Neoliberal economics is failing us and is failing the working class! Just this time, if they try to leave under a Joh Stansky Administration, I'll say: "No". I'll be telling them that they will be staying. If they, the wealthy business people, decide to toss away our worker's and leave anyway, we'll fine them for their crimes. The paid fines then can be used to help pay for the lost wages of the workers. That's not extreme.

Next they say that eminent domain is extreme; well no, it's not. I'll tell you why, because banks do it to homeowners in New Jersey everyday! The Banks think it's okay to seize poor people's homes for being unable to pay for mortgage etc. etc., so are my proposals anymore frightening? In fact, my proposal is nowhere near the same. Rather than targeting those who cannot afford to live in their houses, we will be taking the property of the filthy-rich greedy class that attempts to run away and put the people of New Jersey out of their jobs. That's why their outrage is fake. They do not care about the poor of America, the poor of New Jersey, all they care about is their pocket. People before Profit. People before Profit. I've said it multiple times before, and it is the slogan tonight. One of the few slogans that our campaign has adopted. It encapsulates the essence of our movement. People before Profit. It's simple, yet very meaningful. Thank you for coming out here today, your support is appreciated!

Poor, pathetic Joh Stansky, so jealous of success you can see his bald head turning green! Too lazy to ever make money on his own, so he became a union leech, and now plans to take the money hardworking Americans have worked for!

Stansky calls me a corporate tool, but he knows he has it backwards. I'm a corporate titan, living the American Dream for myself and my family through hard work and determination, and nothing about a wannabe Communist whiner like him scares me.

What scares Stansky are hardworking people rejecting him and his little army of lazy do-nothings. He is more afraid of hardworking, successful people than anything, which is why I officially challenge him to a public debate, to shut down his radical liberal ideas once and for all!

@ConservativeRevolutionary @GiveJohaGo! I am not Senator Amaras biggest fan but I firmly believe he would soundly beat you in a debate. I would be willing to sponsor the debate out of my own pocket if you would do it for charity.

Dulles Airport

As the conversation between Kramer and Hitchens appeared to be over, the Marshall re-cuffed Kramer.

“Alright sir, we best be going. Don’t want you to miss you me flight.”

He stood Kramer up and led him out of the doors to the terminal, to the TSA Checkpoint.

Congressman Glen Anderson
@AndersonPA17

@ConservativeRevolutionary @GiveJohaGo! I think it’s inconsiderate not to meet the Senator halfway but if he has no issue then I will set up the debate in Trenton, proceeds will go to St Jude’s children hospital. The panel will consist of one person from a left leaning think tank, one from a right leaning think tank and a neutral moderator.

“No, I did not know that.” Kyle responded, thinking that was sort of humorous.
