"Definitely. We might wanna classify that as "non-curative" procedures to mask it a bit. Ya know, put them in with plastic surgeries to push it past liberals a bit easier." Marlowe said. "We don't want another strife in the party."

"Well it is broad, but it allows as too cite merely raising revenue by taxing procedures that do nothing to improve someone's health as main reason for the measure. And it will raise more revenue, ya know. So we put tax on plastic surgeries, abortions, sex-change surgeries and all that crap. We're hitting baby-killers, cross-dressing freaks and cocaine stuffed Hollywood elites, while lowerin' taxes on the poor. I'd call that a win-win." Marlowe said while lighting up his pipe.

"You did all the maths. Could you tell me how much revenue we need and what amount is enough? Maybe slapping flat 5% tax on such procedures? And further 2% on medical equipment used for them?" Marlowe said.

Grabbing the beer from Havich and briefly thanking him, Kyle shrugged.

From: internal-messaging@wnn.com
To: Group- WNN Staff and Talent Development Team

Hello,
Big changes are coming here at Western News Network, as I am sure you are all aware of. Here are highlights of the coming improvements we have made, to keep you all in the loop. Remember, this information is highly confidential, and leaking of this info will result in your termination.

-We have hired a new advertising and design firm to revamp our corporate branding. An example of our new logo has been attached to this email, however, it is imperative that you do not release these assets until the launch of our new ad campaign, which will debut at noon on Saturday.

-Along with the new look, we have acquired new talent. Longtime radio host Katherine Hobbes and online political commentator Waylon Pickett will be joining our evening lineup.

-We have officially secured a year-long lease on studio space in Washington DC for our satellite bureau. This location will provide office space for our DC employees, as well as the proper studio for Hobbes and for potential future programming.

-The update of our WNN Mobile app will be released simultaneously with our new online and television branding.

-Finally, we have well-exceeded our viewership goals in the first 3 months since our return to air. Thank you for all your hard work.

Sincerely,
Interim CEO Martin Ryman

Dirksen Senate Building
Senator Fowler's Office

Soon after Senator McGareth leaves Fowler's office, Sunshine enters the office after briefly speaking with the secretary, for her meeting with Fowler.

"Good afternoon, Senator Fowler."

Norfolk, Virginia

Image

It was quite a pleasant day in Norfolk, the sun was beaming through the gaps in the clouds, and there was a light breeze. This was an ideal day for such an event to be taking place. Arthur was currently inside city hall with his wife going over some reports that had been left on his desk. Arthur was very nervous, but yet he was excited at the same time. He felt like a rebellious teen, taking his first sip of an alcoholic beverage. He was thrilled yet scared at the same time.

The time was approaching to make his appearance outside city hall. Arthur had put the word out that he was holding a press conference and a dozen or more news vans were parked outside. There was also a decent sized crowd that had gathered outside the city hall. It was like a zombie horde! Arthur checked his watch. It was the time to strike. He gulped down the last of the water in his glass and set it on his desk. Arthur reached for Sarah's hand and began walking towards the elevator.

The elevator ride was short and silent. Arthur was mumbling some key points that he wanted to hit on and Sarah was applying some lipstick. The elevator made a ding noise and the doors slid open. He headed towards the entrance of city hall and pulled open the door. As soon as Arthur began walking towards the podium, the crowd began cheering. Arthur smiled and waved to the crowd with his free hand. He released Sarah's hand and stood behind the podium.

"Hello, Norfolk!"Arthur said with a smile. "And I guess I should also say hello Virginia!" The crowd began to cheer. "It really is a wonderful day today. The weather is great, the crowd here is amazing and I have a very important announcement to make today." He said with a smile while the crowd applauded. "I guess we should start off with the announcement, " He said with a smile. "That is why everyone is here, right?" The crowd began to cheer.

"Well, here goes nothing." He said with a smile. "It gives me great pleasure to announce that from today, I will be seeking the Democratic nomination for Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia!" The crowd broke out into a cheer and Arlen smiled yet again. "I know some of you might have some questions and I'll get to them soon, but let me tell you why I decide to run."

"I've lived in Virginia for many years, and over my years of living here, I have seen the issues that face many Virginians. As some of you may know, I am a Pediatric doctor and I owned my own practice. And one of the biggest problems I saw working and operating that practice was that health care became to damn expensive!" The crowd cheered. "I think that WinstonCare had good intentions, but I also think that it wasn't implemented properly. That is why, if I am elected Governor, I will work with the state legislature to make sure Healthcare works for all Virginians."

"Now I'm sure all of you have heard of some legislation that has recently and shockingly passed the Senate called 'POMA'." The crowd began to boo. "I can not tell you how much you how much I disagree with it." He said with a smile. "Why should we interfere in someone else's relationship? What gives them a right to define what love is? When POMA is being voted on in the House of Representatives, I urge the Representatives to remember the American Dream and specifically the part about the right to life, liberty, and happiness. That is why if I am elected Governor of Virginia, I will protect the rights of Virginians who are apart of the LGBTQ+ community. I will make sure that the LGBTQ+ community is treated equally under the law of Virginia!"

"Poverty is a problem in Virginia. I've faced it, and I am sure many other Virginians have faced it. Like I said before, I have seen many families in Virginia plagued by debt and poverty. But I have a plan." He said with a grin. "If I am elected, I have plans to increase the minimum wage and give low-income families tax exemptions on their groceries. I believe that this will help decimate the debt problem in Virginia and help people have a better quality of life."

"And now to my final point, higher education." He paused. "Now I was very lucky, I raised enough money to attend college then medical school. But today, the price of attending college has gone up drastically and many families can not afford the prices of college. I want to change that. I want it to be easier for the youth of Virginia to attend college. I want to make sure that every Virginian, no matter what background they come from, can get a shot at higher education." He smiled and the crowd cheered.

"I believe I am the only one who has announced that they are running for the nomination." He said with a cheeky smile. "That just tells you, my opponents are probably slow and tired!" He and the crowd laughed simultaneously. "Well, I really don't have anything else to say." He said with a smile. "So I guess I will just thank you for being here, it really does mean a lot to us and I can not wait to hold the next rally. Thank you, Norfolk!" He walked off the stage holding Sarah's hand and re-entered city hall. Nearly all of his nerves had disappeared, and the few that remained made him feel exhilarated.

Bridgeport, Connecticut

Jamie Johnson was very CROSS that a member of the Democratic Party defected to the Party of Ellen Walton He do the very angry face at himself in the mirror to prepare to campaign for Mayor Schmidt in the race to be CT's next Senator. Before the Congressional baseball game Jamie Johnson decide to do the rally. Jamie Johnson takes the stage, do the clearing of his throat and then speaks.

"Bridgeport today I will talk to you about the importance of voting for Mayor Schmidt to be the next Senator for Connecticut! He is a very good person who fights for many good things! He fights for everything ranging from increased workers' protection, to higher minimum wage, and making the streets of Connecticut safe. SO YOU MUST VOTE FOR THE MAYOR PEOPLE!

Ambassador Singh is not going to represent you. Before you try to vote for him, ask yourself what has he done with his life, and who has he fought for during his career. He fought for President Winston! He is a Winston lackey through and through! He paid a bunch of money, and was then appointed ambassador by Winston! The man is corrupt to the core, why else would he donate all that money? This is President Winston, Amb. Singh probably paid Winston a bunch of money and then bought the position for himself. Now with little rhyme or reason, he joined the Progressive Party. Ask yourself why would he do that? Maybe he does it because he indeed believes in the policies of the Progressive Party, or is it because maybe he was bribed by evil Ellen Walton and her billionaire friends? I have no issue with using the money as a method of free speech, but even speech has limits! You can use your money to buy ads to support your favorite political candidate, but Amb. Singh with no qualifications for any diplomatic post other than wearing a turban clearly bought his position from Winston! Corruption is not free speech! Bribing the President is not free speech, it is corruption. It is important to remember that Amb. Singh at the end of the day is still Winston's man!"

Jamie Johnson do the spit at the ground.

"Mayor Schimdt is a very good person who fights very strongly for you! He is not Winston's man! He is going to fight for you! He will protect the right to choose for women, and repeal the nasty bastard of Gianna Carrolton and Albert Winston that is WAC! Carter Roberts supports WAC 100%, and his a pro-lifer. He does not think girls who have been raped should have the right to an abortion. He does not think that 14-year-olds raped by their stepfathers should be able to get an abortion! He will shut down all the Planned Parenthoods in the country! Mayor Schmidt will reopen all of the abortion clinics again! He will repeal the Mexico City Policy once and for all, because Reed is going to reinstate it.

You cannot take a chance with Ambassador Singh people, he has acted as a Winston puppet before, he was silent about WAC until it was too late, and we must remmeber a vote for Ambassador Singh is a vote for Albert Winston. Us Democrats cannot afford 6 more years of a Winstonite in office, we need to hit back hard against the Ambassador, and we need to do it now. You must vote Democrat in the general election people! If you vote for Ambassador Singh he is just going to continue Winston's policies instead of real effective change that will benefit all of us.

Thank you Bridgeport, remember to vote Democratic! The only party that will protect the right of women to choose, and serve as change for the better!"

Jim Justice steps up to the podium in St. Paul feeling nervous but confident that he is doing the right thing. He has been wondering what to do about the healthcare crisis that the legislature was still fighting on for a long time now and he is ready to get up before the people and tell them some of his ideas and reveal the Masterpiece for Minnesota Minors that he has been working on for two months since his friends turned out to be false.

"Hello to my fellow Minnesotans! It is a wonderful spring day today with the weather just right. But the political weather is not so good. We still have fighting about how we are going to do healthcare in our state and it seems like it will never stop. Politicians have made different plans for healthcare but they are not very different. They are more of the same kinds of things. There is not any innovation and we Minnesotans love and need innovation! This RLSA was a bad bad mistake that was going to hurt Minnesotans because Washington did not care and forced a bad decision on us but I think that we can make this mistake good because the RLSA can also be an opportunity for us. We can turn this around and make it great for our state! We just need a plan and I have one.

Minnesota is a state of great things but the best thing that we have is our children. They are so important to us and we are so important to them too! We depend on them to be the next generation and a better generation and to help us when we get old and they depend on us to get them what they need to make sure they are ready for their responsibilities and have happy healthy and educational childhoods. Many children can have trouble getting healthcare that they need though and education is always something that we want to improve. Now from both of those things I have a proposal that we never had the chance for before but now we do with this new chance of the RLSA which is a bad mistake that we can turn into a good chance.

Right now we have a system for education that works very well but can still be better. Right now outside news sources say that Minnesota is ranked top ten in education. I think that we are actually number one if they measure right but that is not the point right now. The point is that what we have with education works very well with how we have our school centers and how they help kids in their neighborhoods and it is all already organized. So I was thinking "JIm, why don't we use that great organized system for other things?" And then I agreed with myself because I think we should! Healthcare is very scattered right now with different insurers and it was scattered before Winstoncare and it is now scattered with it and that is something that can be hard for getting kids healthcare. For adults they can work the system but it is harder for kids who have specialized doctors and parents can be overworked and stressed and have trouble finding doctors for their kids. But we can fix that.

We need to turn our Minnesota schools into places of learning and also healing. We have that chance right now! We organize the child health care for kids that we give in the same way as schooling and in the same places. We have a system so that a kid has to go for a doctor's checkup before school and that is all complex but so now they could go for a doctor's checkup at the school because instead of just having a nurse at the school we will have the doctors and make their kids health buildings onto the kids learning school buildings. We set up these places with the things they need for children which will not be very hard and kids and parents have an easy way and place to go to get their shots and checkups and even things like broken bones and if things ever go wrong they are ready right there during the school day and especially helpful if we work health therapists into this. We can save money by working in the same system and save parents gas money and time and effort and make a better and easier efficient system for our kids that makes sure that we take care of their bodies and not just their brains. Schools are hospitals for our kids brains and they can also be hospitals for our kids bodies! It will be easy for parents and great for kids and easy to organize and save all of us time and money.

We have to make many decisions with healthcare now with the RLSA but this is one that we can make right now and be very proud of. We call it Gophercare for all the little gophers and it is something that the children of Minnesota need and we must make it part of our healthcare reform! We must make sure the legislature understands it is very important to make healthcare for our kids work in this very efficient and effective system. We can make negotiations and decisions with how we make adult healthcare work and the parties will fight over that but most of all Gophercare must be a part of it for the kids of Minnesota! Thank you everyone!"

Jim Justice starts clapping and so does the crowd so he takes a bow and smiles with successfully announcing his great Masterpiece for Minnesota Minors and he is now sure that it will pass with the love of the people.
