Aubrey raised an eyebrow, and almost fired back a friendly retort, before belatedly realizing by the expressions of the others the issue of her initial statement, and electing to remain silent.

Fortunately for convenience's sake, though hardly unexpected, there was a black-suited man already surveying the exit as the group sallied forth, and after after a brief discussion with the First Lady, and a slightly less brief overlook of the vehicle, they were fully prepped to move out to dinner.

Josh entered the front seat of the car, and opened the door for the two mostly silent interns who got in the 3rd row. Kristina gestured for Aubrey to get in the car and take a seat.

Choosing to focus on fighting obesity is a great decision from the FLOTUS. Obesity is a threat to both or national health and financial health and something we definitely need to address.

Aubrey opted to relinquish shotgun to her host if she preferred it, mentally reflecting on the potential lack of wisdom of placing herself plainly in the front of a vehicle without a bullet-resistant windshield, and slid into the second row.

Seeing that there was still a second-row seat available, and honestly preferring conversation with her guest rather than her producer, Kristina took the other second-row seat opposite to Aubrey.

Josh started the car, put on some Top 40 station, and they departed.

Josh turned to the back seat and remarked to Kristina, “you know, Finding Nemo was a cartoon. So it wouldn’t have a stylist.” Kristina laughed and said, “Josh, we finished that conversation like half an hour ago. So, where’s the restaurant?”

Josh said, “It’s called Izakaya Den. Sushi small plates, high-end stuff. I figured it would be good to take the First Lady to somewhere other than the 5 billion steakhouses in all of Denver, especially because she has lived here before if I remember right.”

Weber Institute HQ, Chicago, Illinois

Johnson, come see me in my office in 5.

Dwayne Johnson (no relation) is the WIRD's head expert on Social Studies and often advises Weber in matters of sociology and public relations. When necessary, however, Johnson is the man in charge of polling. The WIRD has been known in the past to often hold public polls, nationwide, statewide, and local regarding a wide range of topics. Around this time of year such polls would be carried out so Johnson had an idea as to what he was being called in for. After 5 minutes on the dot passed, he entered the office of Bernard Weber.

Mr. Weber?

Ah, Johnson, please take a seat.

Of course, thank you sir. What is it you request of me today?

It's polling season, Johnson, and you know what that means well. I took into consideration the requests of our departments and devised the list of statistics I'd like to see be brought in. Here they are.

*handing him a sheet of paper, indented and stylized as though it was an official document*

Weber Institute of Research and Development
Bernard Weber, CEO and Founder

123 X Street, Chicago, Illinois

Nationwide:
- "How well is President Reed doing on the economy?"
- "How well is President Reed doing on foreign affairs?"
- "Rate how the first 100 days of President Reed have been."
- "How do you view Republicans in Congress?"
- "How do you view Democrats in Congress?"
- "How do you view Progressives in Congress?"
- "Should more restrictions on automatic simulators be implemented?"
- "Should the United States enter the Trans Pacific partnership?"

Statewide (Illinois, New York, California, Pennsylvania, Florida):
- "What are the biggest foreign threats America faces today?"
- "What are the biggest domestic threats America faces today?"

Make sure to get their race, gender, political stance, all the stuff that we've been doing in the past. Make sure for the statewide polls however to mark down their congressional district. We'll be publishing these results of course.

Preferred sample size?

At least thirty-five hundred, no more than five thousand.

Of course Mr. Weber. When would you like these results?

Within the month please. You have all the necessary resources at your disposal, just make sure to check them in with me beforehand.

Understood. Right away, Mr. Weber!

Kristina thought for a second. “Wait...isn’t that the place that’s super expensive?”

Josh responded, “Yes...but I think after our guest tonight we can afford it.” He pulls his cell phone out and hands it to Kristina.

“Look at what the station manager sent,” remarked Josh. Kristina looks at the phone and says, “holy cow! Aubrey look at this.” She leans over and shows Aubrey the screen, which consists of a bunch of TV show names and numbers. “We beat out Moynihan tonight! And that’s probably because of you, we haven’t finished a night above third in primetime cable news, even on the night when I went live from the inaugural ball.”

Aubrey's internal reaction was more surprised at the surprise of those in the vehicle rather than what she considered to be the unsurprising "surprise" of ratings exceeding that of the Fox News star. She was the First Lady, after all, and even if she was often frustrated with the position, her conception of its general standing was quite a high one.

"Congratulations!" she offered.

The car slowed and pulled up to a valet area.

“Oh, look, we’re here. I’ll explain more about all of that once we get settled in,” remarked Kristina. Kristina got out and held the door for Aubrey and the interns, who by now had mentioned their names, Katie and Kyle.

After a very productive day the day before Buck spent most of the day after awarding himself relaxation at home with Saga and playing catch with the football outside with Brandon and Luke. After getting up today Buck was informed of the marchers coming to the White House and is caught off guard at how quickly they must have organized things. He is still wondering about what he should do about it and watching the first speeches on the television when the phone rings. He turns down the volume and answers it.

"Yello, it's Havoc."

"Glad I could get ahold of you Mr. Vice President." The Governor said as he nodded at his son across from him. "To keep it short, I'm in town for the march, which I'm sure you've seen on the television by now, and my son Kyle has elected to come here with me. He's decided to take advantage not only of his right to speech and assembly today, but also to take advantage of the opportunity you have presented to him. He'd like to come and work for you, and if possible, I'd love it if we could set up an interview." the older man finished before adding something in. "He's right here if you'd like to speak with him yourself."

“Oh...I never noticed that!” exclaimed the younger girl.

The four of them entered the restaurant and were shown to a table, which had been requested for an area of the building where there wouldn’t be many others around.

Given he had been expecting that due to the element of truth that existed there, Denver wasn't particularly offended by the comment from the man who he had thus far been more than correct in his judgment of.

"Great." He responded simply, before turning the phone to speaker. "Where would you like for him to meet you Buck?"

Kristina joked, “I think Josh takes all his dates here...that explains a lot. I might be on TV but I don’t have the money to do this kind of thing often, so no, I haven’t been here. What about you guys?” she asks toward the interns, who both respond with a no.

During this whole exchange, Josh was chatting with the waitress, who turned to the group and asked, “what would you all like to drink?”, while clearly unaware that the First Lady was one of the ones at the table.
