María Antonieta sighs and steps up from her wooden chair, and turns off the monitor of the computer in front of her. She calls out into the annex before the hallway for her staffer as she gathers up her things.

"Rosa! I'm meeting with a socialist tomorrow." "What, did Danders crawl out of his grave?" María Antonieta shakes her head as she picks her purse up off the corner of the desk and walks out.

"It's just some random hotshot kid councilcritter from Brookyln. Kenneth Lockett" "Sounds like an idiot." "I already told you he was a socialist." "Then why the **** are you meeting with him?" "Masochism, obviously. Just find us a place that'll work and tell him where and when." "Jawohl, mein Führer!" "Good night Rosa."

María Antonieta yawns as she finally leaves her office after the late night.

María Antonieta did not really feel like changing her schedule to accommodate for the meeting with this random city councilman, and since she was the one doing him a favor by meeting with him anyways, she figures he would adapt, or just not come, which was fine by her. She would be keeping her schedule as usual, having a morning go at the gym in the empty room, these morning times weren't standard, and she is the only one there.

She powders her hands again and goes for a try at the bar. Rosa had given him 6:45 as the time of arrival, so she figures he'll be there sometime in the next half hour.

At 0640, Kenneth arrives at the building. He raises an eyebrow and checks the address again. He shrugs and grabs his bag. He walks inside drinking his water. He sees the Senator working out, "Good Morning Senator" he shouts hoping to catch her attention. He checks his watch and opens his bag grabbing a folder.

"Sure looks like it." María Antonieta calls down with a strained voice from an upside-down position pushed atop the bar. Slowly lowering herself to a hanging position, she kicks her legs up and flips off of the bar, but cannot get the right rotation, and ends up landing off-balance with one foot hitting, and her knee smashing into the mat. She grumbles to herself, rubbing the lightly bruised and bare knee and shakes the leg before walking over towards her meeting partner. She still cannot seem to make a flip work.

She notices the folder as she adjusts her hair coming up to him. "Looks like you came prepared. Good."

Taylor Cox
Middle of Winter
December 1-5th

December 1

Cox was observant of details in the city. The first thing he noticed was the lack of beach-goers. Even though he was wearing sunglasses, he felt the shore water and saw it was colder than usual. The signs of a winter that even in a place of no snow, it will still succumb to the cold. Cox walked to the shops near the beach and spotted a stand selling Christmas ornaments. He eyed a lovely parrot ornaments in the colors of gold, red and blue. "How much?", he asked the stand owner who had a nasty jellyfish sting on his face. "20 bucks, sir."
Cox gave the man the money and had the ornament in a white box filled with bubble wrap to prevent it from breaking. "By the way, sir. Hadn't I seen your face on TV or somewhere before?"

December 2

"I have the Rattlesnake & Rabbit with Jalapeno Peppers, please."
"And I will simply have the Bratwurst."

Cox and Velma were at a different type of restaurant called Wurstkuche, eating hot dogs during the afternoon. Velma was starting to get uneasy of the old couple from the table next to them, but Cox requested the waiter move them to another table with the view of the city.
"Pretty much I'm trying to be the knight in shining armor to the public. Having bad days with Scotty these days."
"Well, Cox. I'm sure it's going to be fine. It's just competition. I don't mind."
"I don't want you to see what happened on that interview. I'm trying to appeal to the politically incorrect to see how it will get me more voters than Scotty. Going to get an endorsement from the Johnsons. They are richer than the president, so it might work."
"I was wondering, what did Karen do at the Halloween party? I was at home, giving candy to trick-or-treaters."
"I don't know. She was in a strange mood. Her and what I presume to be her boyfriend went in a room with a bunch of other college students. They got out of there, when that fire started."
"Well, at least, she was safe."

Cox was finishing up his hotdog when he could have sworn he saw a fly buzzing around Velma and landing on the table, but it appeared to be gone when he blinked.

December 3

Cox had to drive through the rain to repair a flat tire from driving over a nail. He drove to a repair garage with some burly thugs with bruises and tattoos, repairing at the wheel. Cox glimpsed outside to see the rain. Looking at the clouds above, he can imagine the rain to be the equivalent of snow.

December 4

Cox got a knock on his door at his home. He expected it to be Velma or Karen, or even Spin. However, a woman wearing an elf outfit that some would wear in the mall and an expensive diamond earring appeared with an angry glare at Cox. "Miss? This isn't the mall."
"Of course, it is, you bastard!"
"What did I do?"
"You drugged my son!"
"I did what?"
"On Halloween, my son and his friend went up to the villa near the city. When I hadn't heard back, I feared they got killed by the clowns! When I drove by the place, my son and his friend were high as kites!"
"Wait, I don't understand why this has to do with me?"
"When the weed in their systems were gone, they told me you gave them brownies!"
"Brownies? ... Oh shit!" Cox immediately remembered about the brownies that Karen gave him. Cox wasn't hungry, so he decided to give them to the kids who arrived at the villa.

"Miss, I'm going to talk to someone. Also, why do I have the feeling you work as a pole dancer?" Cox said with the woman punching him in the stomach as a response.

December 5

"Karen!"
Karen was at another park with a student laptop on her lap.
"Cox? What is it?" Karen said, looking confused.
"You made me accidentally poison kids with drugs!"
"You mean the weed brownies? I surprised you didn't notice immediately. Milone gave me them and I smelled the hint of pot."
"Milone?"
"Yep."
"B-but you didn't throw them away?!"
"Waste of food. Do you even have control of anything?"
"I have control of my life and my childhood! I knew how to control it!"
"Oh really?" Karen said, purposely grabbing his hand, even though she could see the recent application of hand cream on his hands. Cox freaked out and let out a small yelp.

My overall account that I use for P2TM and even for international roleplaying! MNM is a mysterious and extremely dangerous dictatorship filled with supernatural oddities, demons, militarized soldiers everywhere, and a misanthropic nihilistic dictator who doesn't give a damn. It's basically if the SCP Foundation got mixed with 1984.

He watches her making sure she was okay before continuing,

"Yes Ma'am this is a general bill on an issue severely overlooked in the nation." He hands her the folder before grabbing his own. "I call it 'The Campaign Finance Resolution' this is a bill that would address a taboo issue within the nation. He opens the folder as you can see it's a straightforward bill. I wish I had the complete bill ready for you but the best I can do with the time I had on the plane was an overview. What are your thoughts" he says looking up at the senator.

Purpose:
National Legislative Resolution to Restore Free and Fair Elections in the United States

Applies to Congress for a limited amendments convention for the purpose of proposing
a Free And Fair Elections Amendment to the United States Constitution

WHEREAS, the 1st President of the United States George Washington stated, “The basis of our political systems is the right of the people to make and to alter their Constitutions of Government." and,

WHEREAS, it was the stated intention of the framers of the Constitution of the United States of America that the Congress of the United States of America should be "dependent on the people alone." (James Madison, Federalist 52); and,

WHEREAS, that dependency has evolved from a dependency on the people alone to a dependency on those who spend excessively in elections, through campaigns or third-party groups; and,

WHEREAS, the United States Supreme Court ruling in Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission, 558 U.S. 310 (2010) removed restrictions on amounts of independent political spending; and,

WHEREAS, the removal of those restrictions has resulted in the unjust influence of powerful economic forces, which have supplanted the will of the people by undermining our ability to choose our political leadership, write our own laws, and determine the fate of our state; and

WHEREAS Article V of the United States Constitution requires the United States Congress to call a convention for proposing amendments upon application of two-thirds of the legislatures of the several states for the purpose of proposing amendments to the United States Constitution; and

WHEREAS the citizens of this great nation see the need for a convention to propose amendments in order to address concerns such as those raised by the decision of the United States Supreme Court in Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission (2010) 130 S.Ct. 876 and related cases and events including those occurring long before or afterward or for a substantially similar purpose, and desires that said convention should be so limited; and

WHEREAS the citizens of this great nation desires that the delegates to said convention shall be comprised equally of individuals currently elected to state and local office, or be selected by election, in each Congressional district for the purpose of serving as delegates, though all individuals elected or appointed to federal office, now or in the past, be prohibited from serving as delegates to the convention, and intends to retain the ability to restrict or expand the power of its delegates within the limits expressed above; and

WHEREAS the citizens of this great nation intends that this be a continuing application considered together with applications calling for a convention passed in the 2013-2014 Vermont legislature as R454, the 2013-2014 California legislature as Resolution Chapter 77, the 98th Illinois General Assembly as Senate Joint Resolution No. 42, the 2014-2015 New Jersey legislature as SCR 132, and all other passed, pending, and future applications until such time as two-thirds of the Several States have applied for a convention and said convention is convened by Congress;

Therefore, be it Resolved, that the citizens of this great nation speaking through its legislature, and pursuant to Article V of the United States Constitution, hereby petitions the United States Congress to call a convention for the purpose of proposing Amendments to the Constitution of the United States of America as soon as two-thirds of the several States have applied for a convention; and

Be it further Resolved, that the Chief Clerks of each state legislature [House of Representatives and Senate] transmit copies of this resolution to the President of the United States; the Vice President of the United States in his capacity as presiding officer of the United States Senate, the Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, the President Pro Tempore of the United States Senate, to each Senator and Representative from their in the Congress of the United States with the respectful request that the full and complete text of this resolution be printed in the Congressional Record, to the presiding officers of each legislative body of each of the several States, requesting the cooperation of the States in issuing an application compelling Congress to call a convention for proposing amendments pursuant to Article V of the U.S. Constitution.
