"Well, maybe." Reed demurred. "I'm not saying I want to agree to this right out anyways, not when we're not even sure who we want to endorse anyways. I just figure it's at least reasonable enough to keep in mind for when we do finally lock in a course."

Denisevich put his hand on his hip, and looked around for the trail. He began walking in that direction, to reach the next meadow. The trail ran along the brook, icy cold and white with velocity under patches of ice.

"Shall we move on to discussing the cabinet?"

"Sure. Things seem to be going well so far, Overstein signing on-I don't think we've had a rejection yet." His face darkened. "Minus one. Still, we've filled in almost all the big ones, and we're only missing two target Secretaries. Two big spots to fill, still."

Denisevich quickly remembered the name, after a brief moment's consideration. "Yes. He is an economics professor in Texas. I was considering him for the Council of Economic Advisers, though I suppose he could be a potential candidate for other positions. The drawback, of course, is that he is a Libertarian."

"I'm not too worried about him being a libertarian, really, if he's going into an economic position. We've got plenty of overlap on what we think there, and I wouldn't think a professor would be a hardline partisan. Could be, though, you never know."

"Of course." Reed continued "There's a good point to be made for not hiring him because he's a Libertarian, big-L. Their reputation's just thoroughly in the dirt, mud-caked, and no reason to have that spray over on us. Not sure he'd really be fit for a cabinet position anyways."

Cal stopped, making out an outline of a bird in a tree over to his right. He bent down, and starting feeling around for something in the snow.

"But, I was thinking we'd look at poaching Heritage, CATO, one of them for the last two slots, just with us not seeing much else. Should be good on policy, no ego or partisan problem, probably, decent fit."

Finding what he was looking for, Reed balanced a smooth stone in his hand, then zipped it at the tree. Looking to flush the pheasant to give him a shot, the stone ended up striking it directly, stunning it, and knocking it out of the tree. The dog bounded off towards it.

Stunned himself a moment, Cal finally shook his head and chuckled. "Well, that's a first."

"Unless you had any other ideas for Labor and Ed?" He wrapped up his previous line of thought.

Taylor Cox

Ah yes, the start of the suburbia life. And as a father figure. Sipping a coffee mug after calling for the moving truck to retrieve most of his stuff to fit in the house for Velma to replace the stuff that she found to be worthless. Sitting on the couch, watching an episode of Mad About You of "The Silent Show". While the voting for the mayoral election is still happening and no word from Scotty's twitter account, Cox thought it was going to be a good idea to go biking.

Velma Salazar
(OOC Note: The following will be first-person in Velma's point of view.)

I had my car pull up on the driveway, where I was carrying up groceries to the front door. It was still a cold day, as I had my jacket on. Before I can open the door, I saw Mr. Turner yelling and cursing at some kids with skateboards, as they ran away from his house. I didn't really question most of my neighbors at all. Usually I respect the privacy of others and myself, Mr. Turner being the typical lawn worshiping who claims ownership of any frisbee, baseball, or even pets that end up on his property. Along with the Wilkins with an endless vacation for their cousins who plan to stay with the Wilkins for a year until their so-called mortgage malfunction is straighten out.

The others includes our next-door neighbors the Shirleys, who if Cox met them frequently he would compare to yuppies. And don't get me started with Ms. Brigham, that senile woman already ranting that everyone is going to burn in hell for even if the simplistic of reasons, such as sneezing with Brigham calling you the plague incarnate. Mr. Turner was mad because he was shooing out the kids who were trying to skate in his empty pool of his. Anyways, I opened the door and had Cox help me with the groceries. "Velma, it's almost the end of winter break for most of the kids in the neighborhood. You want to go biking today?" Cox asked me, as I set down a bag.

"What's Karen doing, though?"
"She gone outside with her friends and what not. Everyone's probably watching things live to see what happening in boxing and those in the mountains going snowboarding."
"Biking sounds fun, though I did brought some new soap from the store. When are the moving truck coming with your stuff, again?"
"I'm sure it's coming in the afternoon. Campaign still be good for this year. Who knows.

Karen Salazar

Karen was casually enjoying the morning, checking through tweets on Twitter, sitting under a tree at the cemetery. "Let's see what happening on the internet. More McGareth tweets and what not. Hmmm.. I have a bit of idea, though."
Local 22 year old Diet Coke Addict College Student Ruins Everything

Quote of the Week: "A NEW STORY ON WRITING THREAD FOR HALLOWEEN!! MYSTERY MINE AVAILABLE NOW!"

RPs I do
- How do you do fellow kids? You want to see something violent? - Artemis: Deimos Trafficking League (Horror/Mature)
- Descend into the forgotten tourist traps of Florida on this transgressive RP! - The Community (Mature/Black Comedy/Slice-of-Life)

My overall account that I use for P2TM and even for international roleplaying! MNM is a mysterious and extremely dangerous dictatorship filled with supernatural oddities, demons, militarized soldiers everywhere, and a misanthropic nihilistic dictator who doesn't give a damn. It's basically if the SCP Foundation got mixed with 1984.

With all the food finally brought out and laid on the table Mrs.O'Leary sat down and soon everyone had joined hands around the table. Papa O'Leary bowed his head for the prayer before the meal.

"The Light of the Christmas Star, the Warmth of Hearth and Home, the Cheer and Goodwill of Friends, the Togetherness of Family, the Love of the Son and God's Peace, be with us this Christmas Day. Amen."

Hands were let go of with the prayer finished, and the O'Learys started to go for the food. Jared looked over at Nicole. "Hungry?"

"Actually, I really am. I flew from Seattle to here this morning, went to my Chicago office to tie up a few loose ends, and that was all just in time for you to pick me up. I haven't eaten since early this morning."

Noticing Mrs. O'Leary having joined them at the table, Nicole faced her and said "Pleased to meet you Mrs. O'Leary. I'm Nicole. You have a wonderful family here."

Post Republican Leadership Conference

Fowler approaches Kingsley "It was a pleasure to meet you sir, I hope to get a chance to work with you closely in the future." Fowler give a small smile, that contained a little disappointment but mostly acceptance. Fowler looked more tired than anything.
