Bridgeport, Connecticut

Jamie Johnson do the smile and the wink at the mayor as the helicopter hovered over its destination. The helicopter circled around the city of Bridgeport for a couple hours, while Johnson used his connections to organize a curious crowd at the stadium. He threw the door opened with a great heave and threw down a rappel rope down from the helicopter before proceeding to use it to descend from the helicopter with the crowd in complete awed silence. It was by far the most unique rally entrance that any politician has ever envisioned. After a while the crowd cheered at his descent, not expecting that he would enter the theater that way.

Jamie Johnson do the smile and the wave to the crowd.

"Hello Nutmeggers, I am Rep. Jamie Johnson from the neighboring state of Rhode Island! I am telling all of you that you must endorse Mayor Schmidt people! You may ask yourself why? Well first off, when was the last time a politician has rappeled out of a helicopter to attend a rally? This only proves he is a courageous fighter who is willing to do anything for any of you, including jumping out of a helicopter to attend a rally.

But now seriously he is a good man. Mayor Schmidt is dedicated to tackling stupid policies in Washington. The Mayor here is one million percent pro-choice, he will fight from day one to completely destroy and annihilate WAC so it ends up in more pieces than Carrolton and her political career. He will expand Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid by working with the states to fund their programs. He will ensure that abortion rights in this country will be expanded, he will force states all across the country like Mississippi to have at least one abortion clinic. He will also ensure that the funding for Planned Parenthood gets doubled. This election here in Connecticut will be focused on one thing, and one thing only! And that is the issue of the reproductive health of women.

Roberts thinks Roe vs Wade should be abolished, he is such an arrogant a*shole that he is blatantly ignoring the SCOTUS ruling. Mayor Schmidt will fight for pro-choice positions. Furthermore, Carter Roberts is a dangerous radical who seeks to impose very radical and dangerous policies. He believes that building a wall across the Mexican border is a good idea! Carter Schmidt is not a big dummy, the Mexicans will just get a few pieces of rope or a few ladders and climb the wall anyways. Not to mention that is also very expensive, all the same time Roberts believes that austerity is a good idea!

The Mayor's Democratic opponent is just a Winston lackey. A vote for the Ambassador will be a vote for Albert Winston's legacy, us Democrats are sick and tired of Albert Winston, we need real change in Congress, not just Winston 2.0. We must ensure that the Winston lackey is not elected to office. If Ambassador Singh becomes your next Senator I can promise you he will fight for the causes of Albert Winston such as jailing political opponents, widespread NSA spying, and just acting like a dictator in general. Remember that a vote for Ambassador Singh is a vote for Albert Winston!

So Connecticut, you must vote for Mayor Schimdt people! That is the bottom line. He is dedicated to helping the people of this country, vote for Mayor Schimdt vote for real change!"

Jamie Johnson do the smile and the wave, before letting the Mayor speak.

So who wants to be the one to tell the great intellectual Jamie Johnson that 2x0=0? You can triple funding to PP if you want but it's not going to be a penny more.

But it shouldn't surprise any of us that Democrats can't handle math. After all they still can't figure out which parts you have to add together to get an actual working marriage.

But in the end I'm just so glad that the candidate that is a "million percent" pro-choice will be forcing all of us to fund abortions and pay to build the clinics for it, and then force the doctors who object to take the forceps and twist the limbs off of innocent babies before vacuuming out their brains.

Bridgeport, Connecticut

Schmidt felt the helicopter ride took a while. The mayor dozed off, but before he knew it, they were in the stadium. Following Representative Jamie Johnson down the ladder, he made a quick little peace sign to the crowd, stunned at the entrance.

Listening to the Representative speak, the mayor smiled, nodded and smirked at times. He was offput by his decision to speak about abortion and all that, but Schmidt wouldn’t let his shock and dismay show.

Once Johnson finished his ramble, Schmidt took the mic, and started off lightly.

“What he said!” The mayor started, to the amusement of the crowd.

“Seriously, this must be a bit bizarre, a Mayor and Representative climbing down a helicopter, but it’s a real good way to start a show, Ain’t it?

As Mr. Johnson said, I’m pro-choice, and allowing women to choose what they want to do with their body is an important fixture on my campaign. Women’s issues in general is important to my campaign. And we need to ensure that progress is taken nationwide, fighting to make sure Americans across the country have access to social security, Medicare, and other such programs! Blue collar Americans will get the help they need!

Now on Mr. Roberts, I’m just going to say that we disagree on key issues concerning things like budget cuts and social programs. Let’s leave it at that!” Schmidt said, poking fun at Johnson’s ‘arrogant a*shole’ comment.

“But seriously, in this Democratic Primary, we need to see which candidate is looking towards the future of the Party, and not tied to the past. Mr. Singh, the Ambassador, I think has his heart in the right place at times, but he is tied to Winston. He has donated to the disgraced former president an amount larger than one person can make, and when a court heard this case a Winston supporting judge dismissed it. The Hartford Courant, as we all know, found the entire situation very odd. And after this, Mr. Singh was made an ambassador despite no relevant experience. We, as a Party, need to stop looking back to Winston and look towards the future, and that’s what I hope to offer.

But seriously, I, Carter John Schmidt, plan on making the issues important to Conneticut, those of the blue collar working class, prominent in Congress. And I’m glad Mr. Johnson joined me today in this announcement, he’s got a great record, and I’m proud to have his support! And I hope I’ll have all of your’s too!”

The mayor concluded, and the crowd cheered, but they were mostly entertained by Johnson’s more showy, news clip-worthy speech than Schmidt’s.

"Maybe." He simply said, garnering a chuckle. "Unless I'm misreading things, this just says we'll simply respect whatever outcome these people ask for. I believe that to be perfectly reasonable."

"It's their decision, after all, and we should be welcoming and accommodating to anyone who would like to be a part of this wonderful country of ours. I can support that decision, and it's a big one, if it is the one they make."

"Granted, the austerity matter with them is an entirely different ordeal, tabled for another day, but I'd at least hope a fruitful conversation on that subject would eventually follow-suit."

"That would be part of the discussion." María Antonieta agrees.

"It commits us to a little more action on our own part than just respecting depending on how things go, but that's a bridge to cross then."

She looks around. "I think that's everything I have. Do you have anything else that needs my attention?"

Phillip glanced down at his watch to check on the time, then looks back toward María Antonieta. "Well, I promised I wouldn't take up much of your time, and I intend to abide by it."

"If something does comes to mind, however, I may pay you another visit or shoot you an email, which is convenient for you. I might try to pay a visit to Representative Attitcus Marlowe of Mississippi for my proposed bill. He'd likely be intrigued."

After all the Congressional hustle and bustle of the week María Antonieta is out bundled up in the cold after taking the metro in on a personal mission she had decided to go for. She wanders in through the door of the store grateful for the increased warmth and takes a look around as she comes in, seeing all the different animals sitting there in stock.

María Antonieta has been wanting for companionship recently and has finally decided to look into getting a non sapient comrade for company. She has never been a big animal lover herself or at least not a lover of animals that you could keep in a small house in Alexandria but has come up with a few ideas for something small that she could try to bring home with her, and so has come over with the plan of purchasing a pet.

A worker at the shop comes up to her after she had been standing and looking around for a little bit. "Is there anything I can help you with Miss?"

His eyes drift down as he speaks to her but he manages to pull them back up to make eye contact.

"I'm not sure exactly what I am looking for." she answers.

"I have a tight living situation so nothing big. Not a dog or something that would need to get walked often, I have a busy schedule and I don't do well with the cold. I don't really like the small dogs either." She does not actually like dogs or cats at all honestly to herself but wants to give a better reason.

"I don't care for a cat either." She adds.

His eyes drift down again. "No, you don't look like a cat lady."

She waits patiently with a hand on her hip until he shakes himself out of it.

"Oh um, sorry miss. Well if you walk with me we can see if there's something you like?"

She nods and follows him through the store.

"A fish, maybe?" he asks. She shakes her head.

"Something more real than that."

"We do have a variety of different birds." he says as she looks around the small winged creatures flapping in cages.

"Any parrots or something that can speak back to you?"

"We do have some." he announces proudly.

"They need a little training but they're worth it." he keeps going trying to make the sale.

She looks over the brightly colored birds impressed by them. It seems like a good fit for her. But she decides to go through everything before making a decision.

"Let's keep going. What do we have back here?"

"This is where we keep the rodents and other mammals. We have rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs…."

She gets distracted looking over to the right of the area seeing some white mice and walks over. He quickly follows. She leans in and looks at the glass.

"These are cute. How much are they?"

He looks a little nervous. "Oh, those aren't pets, they are um, those are food for the snakes."

This catches her attention. "Why don't we have a look at those?"

He leads her over.

"We can't do venomous because of the laws but we have some nice constrictors…"

She looks over the reptiles. When she was younger, still just a girl she had been bitten by a diamondback once. It had swelled awfully and she was throwing up for days. Her parents had had to treat it the best they could from home, a hospital was out of the question but she managed to pull through. Instead of scaring her off though she had become fascinated by them even as her parents tried to limit her outdoor adventures after the awful incident. The thought of owning one hadn't come across her mind before but as the worker kept talking she had definitely decided.

Several minutes later María Antonieta walks out leaving with a young rosy boa with her and disappointingly for the store worker not her number with him.

It is not long later that she watches the infant reptile first exploring its new home on a cleared off downstairs countertop after gathering up all the necessary items. The snakes slithers on about and María Antonieta just watches her for now fascinated by the motion. This seems like it will turn out to have been a good idea.

No more excuses for Williams and his kind. Lincoln stomped out the Confederacy a hundred and fifty years ago and its time we finish the job!
