Closing the door behind him Simon isolated Buck in the room with himself. He let out a large sigh and turned to Buck

"Mr. Vice President we need to talk about This protest and the Senate in general."

"Its all related" Simon says he gestures to a TV on mute in the background of the room showing the rally/riot "This is going to get worse and the actions of certain senators are going to do it."

"Frankly Mr. Vice President, Winslow is proving completely incapable of being a leader in the Senate. We need you to start taking a more active role influencing your former colleagues, we need to make sure the agenda of the republican legislature moves in sync with the republican white house. At least until President Eric returns to his old seat, then he can take the reigns back from you should you wish to relinquish them. President Reed has the power of the Presidency but he doesn't know the intricacies of the Senate or have the relationships necessary to make the moves he needs to make."

"Yea lets just let that one go" Simon says wincing "You're right Mr. Vice President, i'll speak with Winslow first see if the situation can be rectified. Just please stand by in case we have an emergency, but her health concerns alone are justification to you picking up the slack."

"specifically with this though" he says gesturing to the TV "LGBT issues will continue to be a hotbutton issue during the Reed administration, and the President is not on the side of popular opinion. We need a strategy going forward or its going to distract from the agenda and cost political capital which we can't afford to spend."

Meanwhile heading to the Master Bedroom Saga is looking for the First Lady and asking some of the staff if they know where she is.

Denisevich is oblivious to any implication Buck might have and continues "This is an issue we need to keep dealing with, I want to convince the President to make an unequivocal statement to Congress about Oberfell v. Hodges and how he will not support a law to nullify it. If that ruling gets changed it will come from the justices put on the supreme court, not from a nullification crisis."

"I also want to convince the president to focus on Pro-Life legislation on the social side of things, not going against the LGBT community."

"That is if you agree with that assessment?"
