Tanya felt a really intense urge to vote no on this if only for the reaction from the other senators, but ultimately decided that thought would be kept to herself. "Aye." She stated in a firm tone. Tanya was shuffling her foot when her right shoe was feeling awkward, do she did a quick check and realized her shoe had come untied, so she proceeded to tie it. Trying to be subtle with this would be a mission only the top teir spec ops could pull off, but nonetheless she tried.

Official Name: Resolution to Censure Senator Peter Amaras of the State of Iowa

Overview: Officially Censures Senator Peter Amaras.

Section A: Hereby notes that Senator Peter Amaras pointedly exited the chamber of the United States Senate as a vote to honor LGBT Americans who were victims of savage terrorism was about to proceed, demonstrating a lack of empathy for the people at Pulse Nightclub who were gunned down solely on the basis of their sexual orientation or gender identity and who are no longer with us.

Section B: Hereby censures Senator Peter Amaras of the State of Iowa for the reasons outlined in Section C.

Section C: Senator Amaras has willfully made it clear that he does not feel LGBT citizens of the United States are worthy of mourning or honoring in death, choosing not to vote in favor of honoring their memory. Senator Amaras has conducted himself in a manner not befitting a United States Senator in flagrant fasion both in his most recent actions and at other times.

This resolution of censure is then honorably presented to the United States Senate for consideration.

María Antonieta snorts with derision. "This has to be the most ridiculous and baseless assumption of motives I ever heard. I fear a Senator who sneezes would face censure for attempting to infect the Senate with biological warfare. Apparently walking out of a chamber is a more serious crime than breaking several of a Senator's ribs. This is the United States Senate, Senator Breckenridge, and censure isn't there to try to fulfill your own personal grudges."
