This sounds eerily familiar to the Vangaur Party situation....

Talk show hosts are very saturated right now. Lot of them. Pundits could be interesting, but what do you mean by 'pundit'?

That would actually be really fun! I was gonna make this guy ultra-Democrat or Progressive, but I think that would actually be more fun, assuming Reed would agree.

It actually does sound fun! Heck, if this pundit does make to the White House and gets himself a nice office as Counselor or something, he could actually really affect policy by having the president's ear.

Time to make an app for this guy, then.
But first, as someone who's new enough to have missed the election cycle, what are some of Reed's key stances? I'd need my guy to align pretty closely with most, if not all of them, just because he's much more likely to get a Counselor position that way.

He's a moderate conservative. Anti-gay marriage is big. Also, he supports a carbon tax. Besides that, just your traditional moderate.

Alright! Now it's time to figure out how to not be a carbon copy of Reed ideology-wise.
I'd say maybe not support a carbon tax, and maybe have Huns how hesitancy towards taxes in general, unlike Reed. Maybe go maverick on abortion slightly (like only anti-late term abortion), etc.

Funnily enough, I was leaning towards not supporting a carbon tax, anyway. So that, and be a little more open to abortion in certain circumstances.

If I may, you should make your guy centrist but conservative enough that it would catch reed's attention. Also, I would be interested in joining your character on a panel since I do want to have my character as a contributor on national news networks. Could benefit both of us.

A few other things I need to address, I think. What state would suit him best, being a moderate conservative? Should he be working for a network, and if so, which one? Or would it have to be a fake one?
I'd say moderate conservative is your best bet. As for his experience, I'd say political staffer turned columnist. Like he started out working for politicians but then he started writing op-eds for newspapers and stuff. From there, we can say he still writes for newspapers like the Washington Times, Wall Street Journal, etc. and drifts around from cable network to cable network. That's just my idea.

I like that idea, but I'd need to accommodate for United Christian, too.
