Not even 400 if I recall correctly. Only 100 or so.
But, to be fair, they didn't actually won. They just frustrated the ennemy so much it decided on it's own to leave.

Well, 100 Hussars and 300 pacerni, but they did defeat the Tatars. They stopped the biggest raid of the Tatars in Poland before it even properly began

The subhumanism is stronk in these!
The bigger problem is, that we do lack the gunpowder arms to put an end to the effectiveness of heavy armour.

Hence why the Duivene Knights and Wyzkia's winged Hussars will stay deadly effective forever. If anyone was to face them, he would have to combine quality arms, wit and deadly magic to succeed.

Does anyone want to have past ties with the de l'Clarifonts, or to have met Petaine during the war? At first chances are he won't see you IC, but it'd be good to have some contacts for when I get myself settled.

It's true that they would be more likely to develop than gunpowder ones. I mean, if you have an easy and unlimited access to such a powerful form of energy, why bother with inventing saltpeter to begin with?

My main guy was a mercenary during the war and towards the end of it already the commander of the Black Band.

Even if it would have been a normal mage, it is not exactly recommended to come near someone with a giant suspicious looking greatsword if you only have a magical staff xD
