Yazgiria is Turkish.

Katara is Greek-Norse mixture.

Calaria is an Italian confederation.

Achisia is a mixture of Italian, Greek, and Valyrian from Game of Thrones.

To be more precise, Yazgiria is Tatar and Cossack. But since I see that not everyone knows them, the Tatars are Mongols, it's how we call the Mongols that remained in Eastern Europe, those of the Crimean Khanate, as an example. And the Cossacks had a nation before being reduced to cavalry forces in the Tsar's service. But Yazgiria does also have a Turkish indeed, I just tried to make it as original as possible.

Character Application

Name: Captain Petaine de l’Clarifont.

Age: Twenty-Seven.

Gender: Male.

Sexual Orientation: Straight.

Race: Human, Duivene.

Appearance: As per reqeust. He’s around 5’11, twelve-stone and eleven pounds or about 80ish Kilos, I think.

Position/Status/Affiliation: He’s a renowned Man-At-Arms for the Kingdom of Duivene, had this been Medieval Europe, he’d most likely be considered an unlanded Knight, however in this world, he doesn’t align himself with any particular Knightly order and is merely a talented and loyal fighter of Duivene. As such, he’s regularly granted minor commands over troops - whether it be leading a small segment of a larger army, or taking up assignments to deal with lesser threats, for example - commanding a town’s garrison against bandits or slavers. His status originally coming from the fact that he’s the younger brother of a landed nobleman, but his recognition garnered from his own abilities.

Skills/Powers//Magic: He’s an exceptionally talented swordsman, tracker and horse-rider, but lacks any real magical talent - not because he’s totally unable and lacks a magical mind, but due to a lack of exposure to the magical learning process and interest in the field. His swordsmanship however has been forged throughout his life, picking up his first training sword at only twelve years old, sparring with his brothers and father whatever opportunity he could get.

Equipment: He keeps with him a finely crafted steel long-sword with a V shaped hilt/cross-guard, a similarly designed steel dagger and a full set of plate-armour, underlined with a thick boiled leather padding and a set of chainmail. Though rarely if ever does he wear the full set of plate, when not in a full-scale battlefield. In addition, he wears a thin cloth tabard with a fur-pelt strapped to his shoulder, as to make him stand-out more when on the battlefield.

Personality: (The life blood of a character. I know that people don't like to write lengthy paragraphs about a character's personality, but include at least a small description.)

Moral Alignment: Lawful-Neutral.

Biography: Born as the youngest of seven, to a minor member of the Duivenne Nobility, there were certain expectations of the young Petaine. He received a formal and well paid for education along with his youngest sister, who was only a half year younger than him and was taught how to properly wield a sword at only twelve years of age. In his youth he showed an aptitude for mathematics and strategy - often enjoying games of chess or checkers with his elder siblings, and on occasion his parents or their siblings. And of his family members, he proved the most apt in these fields, often, for lack of a better word, steamrolling his siblings in such games or even whilst sparring, nearly breaking his eldest brother’s arm in one training session, a few days after his seventeenth birthday.

However, the meaty and most significant moments of his life came far more recently than then - during the War of the Seven Nations, in which he lead his family’s retainers to glory time and time again, alongside his siblings and father. Gaining a reputation as a valiant and brave warrior and field commander. Having always volunteered to lead vanguard actions and to try and rally their forces against the enemy in dire straits. He’s even said to have during one field-battle to have personally saved the lives of over a dozen of his countrymen by leading a counterattack against overwhelming enemy forces to relieve them. The men who served alongside him and some of the nobles who witnessed his behaviour throughout the war tended to note him down as, “A peasant in nobleman’s clothes” and as “A true pillar of humility.” As rather than sit in the large feasting tents or command tents at night, he’d sit himself with the footmen and regulars, sharing his food and drink with them, along with their tales of glory on the battlefield. Which did wonders for the men’s morale, particularly in the latter days of the war, when they’d been fighting and on campaign for so long - to see one of their superiors acknowledge them as people and to sit with them, no doubt raising spirits. But his greatest achievement was at the very end of the war, when his father dispatched him and thirty riders to relieve the garrison at a nearby village - believing that the enemy were preparing a ‘minor’ raid. When he arrived and began making preparations for the old garrison to depart and started re-arranging the local peasant levy, some scouts returned with news - the enemy hadn’t been as small in numbers as they’d anticipated, and a force of around a hundred and fifty men approached. With him only having forty trained men at hand and some two dozen armed militiamen, he quickly arranged a defense. Baiting the enemy into the town’s centre with a slow and disciplined retreat by the experienced forces before commanding an ambush by the militia from the narrow alleys of the village - encapsulating the larger enemy force before totally annihilating it, sending three ‘living’ enemy combatants back to his father as prisoners to explain what’d happened.

Following the war’s end, he received some minor recognitions and acknowledgements for his displays of martial prowess and was elevated to a Captain in the Duivene military and has slipped into reserve, awaiting to be called upon once more, should the nation find itself besieged by enemies, or should it ride out to deal justice to its foes.

Goals: Petaine’s goals are incredibly ambitious, yet flexible - he simply desires to build his own legacy and to stand out - not to be shrouded in the shadow of his elder siblings who had status merely handed to them. Whether it to go down as one of the greatest military leaders in his nation’s history, to earn a noble title of his own and to rule as a governor. Or merely to go down in the annals of history as a national hero. The dreams of all young men. Only, perhaps - it’s possible that his could come true, in these dark and dire times.

Theme Song: Theme song, I think it’s fitting given his goals.

RP Sample: My most recent example.

Did you read the Rules?: I did indeed, I did indeed. I’ll try not to be a prick.

(I highly suggest that you should read the OOC and parts of the Lore prior to filling this out, as they can help you when creating an app.)
(Fill it out as requested.)
(Erase everything in parentheses when finishing the app)

Name: Eudoxia Upshaw, known to her friends and family as Doc
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: Pan
Race: Human, but there are rumors that she's half siren
Appearance: (Image)

Position/Status/Affiliation: Red Dragon pirates
Skills/Powers//Magic: (Do they have any particular skills, or powers? Can they wield magic, and if so, which type?)
Equipment: Cutlass, a pair of pistols, three daggers, some money and a backpack a map and a few essentials.

Personality: Doc is a true pirate, her motto is "Take what you can, give nothing back." Freedom, sailing and plunder is something she lives for. She will just as easily steal your wallet as she will save you from a monster. She likes to analyze situations and plan for them accordingly rather than charge in without any sort of plan. In fact when she doesn't have a plan and no time to make one she's kind of lost. She's not really good at doing things on the fly and resents changes from her formulated plan. Ruthless in battle, she is nonetheless not without scruples, and makes it a point never to harm children. She is fiercely loyal to her crew and family and will do whatever it takes to protect them.
Moral Alignment: True Neutral
Biography: Eudoxia Ariana Upshaw was born to Edward Upshaw Jr, known on the seas as Captain Shaw. Captain Shaw himself is the son of Edward Upshaw Sr, whom was one of the most famous and feared pirates to ever sail the ocean, some started calling him a Pirate Lord. He was known as the Red Dragon because of his auburn hair, ferocity and russet brown skin. Her mother, Ariana Upshaw is also a pirate, not a captain herself however she was a crewmate and longtime friend of the Upshaws, and a deadly swordswoman. Her silvery blonde hair would suggest that perhaps she was of Achisian royal stock, maybe some bastard offbranch of the royal family before the slaughter, but these rumors are unfounded. They fell in love, married and Eudoxia was born on their ship, the Death's Head during a summer storm. Her name means "good deeds", ironic for a pirate's child. Called Doxia or Doxie as a little girl, the name was eventually shortened to Doc. She was raised by her parents and her formidable grandfather, whom has a huge influence on her life and with whom she shares a very close relationship. When not on a boat she was at her family's hideout, and her grandfather wanted to raise her as a pirate from an early age. Her parents were not so sure, but all three of them agreed to let her decide her own path. Doc knew from an early age that she wanted to be like her family and took to the pirate's life with relish. Not as good at swords as her mother, she was a much better shot and deadly with a pistol in her hand. The wars were a time of greatness for pirates, the nations so busy fighting each other rather than protecting themselves made for easy plunder and quite a bit of action. Her crew is traveling around the world at the moment, sailing and stopping where they choose, following the trade winds. A guest aboard their crew is Bartholomew Findlay Jr, known as Barty, the son of another prominent pirate captain and Doc's ex boyfriend. The two still remain good friends despite them breaking up although they do bicker. Expect them to have each other's backs, even though they date others there may be some residual feelings there. Nobody knows what port they'll stop in next, but whatever it is, Doc is looking forward to the adventure.
Goals: To be the biggest baddest pirate on the seas, to be captain of her own fleet, continue her family's legacy, have her own hideout/island and maybe even one day train younger pirates in a school of sorts when she retires a rich and powerful captain.
Theme Song:(Optional, a song could be nice, but many people don't like it.)

Alright, I like the idea!

But, yeah, unfortunately, there aren't any pistols yet. And before accepting it, you should still add something to the Skills section, since even if she doesn't wield magic, she must have some skills on her own, pirate skills probably. And there are also some random parenthesizes to delete, like at the rules and miscellaneous parts.

Right, since Claudia can't come out until night I'll be using Doc for most daytime actions. Who's near a port?

Character Application

Name: Valeria Sobol
Age: 26
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
Race: Human Nephilim
Appearance:
Image
5' 6'' and 135 pounds. Athletic build reflecting her training

Position/Status/Affiliation: Baroness of Wyzkia, Advisor to the King, and founding member of the Phoenix League
Skills/Powers//Magic:
  • Silver-Tongued: Valeria is well-versed in the affairs of the court. As such, she's a skilled negotiator and debater, able to convince others to her side. She usually prefers to tell the truth, but is an equally skilled liar, and is capable of telling when others are deceiving her.
  • Educated: Valeria is well-educated, capable of reading, writing and speaking the known dialects of the world. She's well-versed in a variety of topics, including Wyzkian history and legends.
  • The Ear of the King: Valeria is on the Senate, which advises the king directly about various matters of governance. The king values her opinion, recognizing her desire to help Wyzkia rebuild, and as such is always open to her suggestions. Of course, she is just one advisor out of many, and any decisions she attempts to put forth must first go through the king and then through the parliament.
  • The Heart of the People: Valeria is seen as a symbol of hope for Wyzkians that their country may one day return to its glory days. She offers shelter to refugees, giving them work the mines, quarries, and construction businesses she owns, as well welcomes though unjustly persecuted by the Inquisition. She rules with a fair hand, cracking down hard on abuses of power and crime in her lands. She's also been a harsh critic on corruption, often posting incriminating ledgers and documents in the town square so all can see why she chooses her targets. This mixture of compassion and transparency has lead much of the population of Wyzkia to support her, as well as many nobles who also wish for change.

Unfortunately, this has also labeled her a threat by those nobles more loyal to their own purses than to the land they've sworn to serve, as well as the Inquisition. As such, many initiatives she attempts to put forth are shot down out in parliament out of spite, simply because it was her idea.
  • Founder of the Phoenix League: Early on Valeria realized she would be unable to root out corruption, eliminate anarchy and ease external tensions on her own. To mitigate this, she sought out like-minded people and formed the Phoenix League. Named after the mythical bird and the animal of her crest, the Phoenix League aims to foster Wyzkia's rebirth. With an espionage, propaganda, monster hunting, assassination and logistics branch, the League focuses on the background roles the nobility can't do. They are extremely good at what they do, with influence throughout all of Wyzkia, and have thus far evaded all attempts by Valeria's enemies to discover the true extent of the revolutionary efforts.
  • Patron of Defense: Valeria's lands may have been relatively untouched by war and anarchy, but that has not stopped the Baroness from funding, arming, and in some instances housing Wyzkia's monster hunters and Winged Paladins. Her contributions have made these organizations more willing to work with her, convincing those not already swayed by her promises of a better life.
  • Magic of the Oath: Valeria's power as a Nephilim did not manifest in superhuman strength or speed. Rather, it took the form of a instinctive grasp of the magical language and a larger then normal mana pool. She is capable of great feats of magic, focusing mostly on illusion, destruction, teleportation and summoning spells. She speaks most of her spells, though has some of her more commonly used incantations inscribed on cards she keeps on her person. Because her spells rely on her ability to create words, if she is bond and gagged she may find herself unable to access her spells.
  • Resilient Mana: Valeria's mana restores quicker then most, another perk of being a Nephilim. Where one may need a long rest, she must merely wait an hour or so. Additionally, she can overextend her powers easier then other mages, at the cost of a much longer rest.
  • Runewright: Valeria is skilled at crafting runes, writing that can be transcribed into physical objects to imbue them with power. This allows the object to perform feats of magic outside of her own mana pool. This act drains her of a significant portion of mana, and as such should only be done when she has the time to rest.

Equipment:
  • Enchanted Clothing: Valeria's clothing has been enchanted to be stronger than plate mail, without the weight or bulk. It also has various wards around it, to protect her face and body from hexes and the like.
  • The Eye of the Maker: A curious artifact. If attached to a craftsman's tool, it imbues it with a minor detectable amount of magic. Afterwards, the wielder of the Eye can see and hear through the crafted item. It's used by the Phoenix League to spy on potential threats to Wyzkia. Unfortunately, there is no way of knowing which crafted item might be witnessing something important, and as such must be cycled through by the League in a patrol fashion in order to be effective.
  • A Rich and Fertile Land: The lands Valeria controls are known for their natural resources, and is part of the reason she can get away with supporting so many refugees. Thanks to strong natural borders in the form of mountains, forests, and rivers, Sobol lands have been relatively untouched by the conflicts that have plagued Wyzkian soil. As such, Valeria has been able to keep her mines, lumberyards and quarries open, providing much needed building materials to the Wyskian defense effort. Her precious metal mines provide much of her land's income, and as such she invests heavily in escorts for the resources.

However, these dense wild lands have also become the home to bandits and monsters, who uses the difficult terrain to hide from conventional militia and monster hunters. Due to her focus on providing materials and manpower to rebuild allied lands, she has been unable to root out the dangers as of yet. Additionally, her isolation has been used as a way to attack her, saying that because her lands have never been touched by the ravages of war she can't possibly know what it's like. Finally, the rich natural resources are the focus of her economy. As such, aside from famed blacksmiths and stoneworkers, her lands produce little in the ways of luxury and manufactured goods.

Personality: Valeria is an idealist at her core, believing that people want to be good if given the chance. Even after years on the political stage, she still manages to be an optimist about her situation. She is known for her humor, and among those she's most comfortable she's been known to tease them. She is an extrovert, talkative and energetic, and about all friendly. She cares deeply about her subjects, and as such abhors anything that would cause them unjust harm. Similarly, she trusts her allies and friends completely, keeping few secrets from them unless she deems it absolutely necessary. She hates disloyalty and corruption. Finally, due to the Inquisition's torturing, she swears she hears voices telling her how to obtain the amulet she sought in her youth. It has also led her to fear traveling outside of Wyzkia, though she'll never admit it to anyone.
Moral Alignment: Wyzkia, I guess. She's willing do whatever is necessary to keep the kingdom from ruin.
Biography: Born into nobility, Valeria Sobol had a pretty easy childhood. She excelled at her studies, was well loved by her father, and required a constant stream of magical instructors as she quickly learned all she would from her tutor. When she came of age she was groomed to be married off to strengthen the Sobol's political status. But Valeria, bored with her sheltered life, left while she was barely a teen, running away with a contingent of guards to explore her country and pursue artifacts of yore. It was while on one of these adventures she stumbled upon a stone tablet that foretold of an amulet capable of granting the user limitless mana. Unfortunately, the Inquisition had been searching for the artifact for months, and issued an ultimatum. Deliver them the tablet, or face the consequences. She ignored them, starting the hostilities between her and the organization. This continued on for most of her youth as she attempted to piece together where the amulet lay while staying one step ahead of Inquisition.

Alas, that's the problem with running all your life. One slip is all it takes for the monsters to overtake you, and when Valeria stopped to aid a village plagued by bandits, the Inquisition grabbed her, claiming that she practiced dark arts and needed to be destroyed. She was tortured and imprisoned, given scars she still bears to this day, and when she refused to divulge where she kept the tablet she was set aside for an experimental procedure designed to separate a mage's ability to connect to their mana. Instead, it drove her insane and unlocked her Nephilim power, destroying the compound and allowing her to make her way back to her home at Phoenix's Perch. Reunited with her father, she devoted her life to learning statecraft, her desire for adventure suitably curbed. She became his shadow, learning everything she could about protocol and negotiations.

When her father passed away, she became the Baroness of Phoenix's Perch. While she grieved greatly for her father, she looked for ways to make her father proud. As a Baroness in her early twenties, her wide-eyed enthusiasm and youth were seen as things that could be exploited, and so when she wished to become an advisor to the King, she was voted in without much talk. What they didn't expect was her to have a strong will and even stronger morals. When approached to accepted an enormous sum of money to act as a puppet to other nobles, she refused, turning the casket of coins into a melted, solid mass. She had never realized the extent of the corruption of the Wyzkian court, and vowed to cut out the rot that infect her once proud homeland. Since then she has had several attempts on her life, one of which was so serious she called in Ryker of Morngard and Aleksandr Pyotrovich Vasiliev to protect her. That plot in particular involved willfully setting monsters into the catacombs and wilderness of her homeland, as well as a powerful necromancer, and while the two monster hunters dispatched a great majority of the beasts, creatures still prowl the Sobol mountains and forests. After such a desperate attack, she realized she couldn't achieve her goal on her own, and formed the Phoenix League to aid her in restoring order to the lawless parts of Wyzkia and shed light on the true nature of the corruption of the nation.

Currently, she has focused on sending her soldiers to the lawless portions of Wyzkia, bringing them order and stability and putting their people to work rebuilding their homes. She is now seen not as a naive girl, but the face of hope for the country, and enjoys the support of both the king and the nobles not lining their pockets with ill-gotten wealth.
Goals: Restore Wyzkia to it's former glory
Theme Song: Ronan Hardiman - High Priests

RP Sample: once upon a time there was a ninja named Steve. He was so cool and popular and everyone loved him, even Tina from fifth period. He would never lose any fights, and his only flaws were that he was too handsome and good at being a ninja that his friends were all jealous and totally didn't think he was a nerd. One day he fought daniel who was a big smelly jerk noone liked, who tried to bully people for no reason except cause he was a meanie. daniel said "i'm going to beat you up Steve" and tried to hit steve in the face. but Steve was a ninja so he did a super cool ninja flip that everyone agreed was the coolest thing ever, even cooler than chris's dumb skateboard. Steve pulled out his sword and cut off daniel's arms. Daniel cried like a baby and said "please don't kill me" and peed himself. Everyone laughed at him for being so stupid as to fight steve. Then steve threw daniel's arms into a volcano, and daniel learned to never be a big fat bully. Then the whole town thought steve was the coolest and tina and him held hands and even kissed.

Nope, I'm going to add a map with titles. That's the Thyrian Wildreness, the home of the former united Human Empire that disappeared in the Calamity ~10,000 years ago, the Thyrian Throne.

It's filled with deserts, dark forests, and it has the former capital of the Thyrian Throne somewhere in the middle.

The Orcs are the dark brown spot in the northeast.

Age: In his fifties, though he stopped aging once he hit 28
Gender: Male
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
Race: Mutated Human
Appearance:
Image
6' 1'' and 190 pounds. Has slits for pupils.

Position/Status/Affiliation: One of the Head Knights of the Twilight, given the title due to his skill rather than loyalty to the cause.
Skills/Powers//Magic:
  • Enhanced Human: Ryker's mutations has enhanced his physical traits to superhuman levels. He's strong enough to knock a troll unconscious with his fists, fast enough to cross a room, draw his sword, and press it to your throat before you could blink, durable enough to survive jumping from a castle wall, and agile enough to deflect arrows back at the enemy. He has a powerful healing factor and pain tolerance, able to take severe wounds and keep fighting. His senses have been improved so he can see in total darkness, follow scents better than a dog, and hear the stealthiest of monsters.
  • Signs: Ryker doesn't have access to much in the ways of magic. Instead, he uses a version of Magic of the Oath that focuses on sign language, which can create spells that are versatile, quick to cast, and have a low mana cost. These signs allow him to create a magical barrier that completely absorbs 1-3 hits, cast minor elemental spells, create a magic trap that slows enemies and turn the ethereal solid, and make the weak-minded more susceptible to his commands or stun them.
  • Monter Hunter: Ryker has an intimate knowledge of monsters, able to identify creatures from the corpses and tracks they leave behind. He also knows their weaknesses and tactics needed to bring them down. This includes breaking curses that may bind wraiths to a location.
  • Rider: Ryker is a skilled rider, able to fight monster atop his steed should the need arise.
  • Mobile: Ryker's fighting style is akin to dancing. He sidesteps and parries his opponents, looking for opening to make his assault. His also able to move quickly even in his armor, climbing cliff sides and shoving past crowds to get to his quarry.
  • Internal Shielding: Ryker's mutations make it so he is immune to attempts to harm him internally. His healing factor makes most diseases and poisons a non-issue, and his is immune to magic that influences his internal structure, such as mind control or clots induced by magic.
  • Telekinesis: Aside from signs, this is Ryker's main form of magic. It is capable of feats of strength similar to that of the most powerful monsters, able to hold them in place with a bit of a struggle. However, unlike signs, this magic requires all of his attention, and as such he cannot perform any strenuous actions such as blocking or attacking while using the magic.
  • Alchemist: Ryker is an accomplished alchemist, capable of brewing his own potions and making his own bombs. He is also capable of recognizing
Equipment:
  • Master-crafted silver sword: A weapon created by the finest arms maker on the continent, capable of piercing the hides of the most durable monsters. Runes have been transcribed to it's blade by Valeria Sobol to increase its cutting power and to prevent it from breaking.
  • Master-crafted steel sword: A weapon created by the finest arms maker on the continent, capable of piercing medium armor. Runes have been transcribed to it's blade by Valeria Sobol to increase its cutting power and to prevent it from breaking.
  • Master-crafted monster hunter armor: Armor created by the finest armorer on the continent, capable of withstanding damage from monsters. Runes have been transcribed to its surface by Valeria Sobol to decrease its weight and absorb energy both mundane and magical. The absorption runes have a finite limit, after which it must be recharged with a ritual and meditation.
  • Master-crafted crossbow: A weapon created by the finest arms maker on the continent, making it as powerful as possible while still being easily reloaded. Various alchemical bolts have been created to allow Ryker to fire anything from explosive bolts to a magic rope.
  • Potions: Various potions to aid him in his occupation. Some include healing potions, potions that turn his blood to acid to harm vampires, and potions that increase his physical abilities for a short period of time.
  • Bombs: Capsules created to disperse it's contents throughout the area. These include a dazzling powder, flammable and poisonous gases, and silver slivers to prevent monsters from using many of their abilities, including transforming and slowing regeneration.
  • Medallion: A simple medallion with the symbol of Achlysa as it's pendant. It can detect the presence of magic and monsters, even through illusion spells

Personality: Ryker is a sarcastic, somewhat cynical man who's trying to make the world a safer place. He's learned that not all monsters are evil and deserving of death, just as not all humans are noble and worthy of protection. He trusts few people aside from his friends, who he's willing to do what he needs to help them out of a bind. He is a reserved man, trying to put up a stoic face to avoid letting others see how he's affected by the world. He is somewhat prideful, determined to be the best monster hunter in existence. Mostly, he just wants good to prevail over evil, and in a world where nothing is black and white, it gets harder knowing exactly what to fight for.
Moral Alignment: Neutral Good, I guess.
Biography: Ryker's first memories are that of a Wyzkian orphan, whose parents were killed by monsters. He doesn't remember much, only the burning desire to take revenge on the things that took everything from him. He was taken in by the knightly orders, who were running low on soldier to fight off the ever-increasing hordes of monsters that seemed to be flooding the country. With their numbers dwindling, the orders got desperate, and agreed to subject the children to experimental procedure of various alchemical and magical trials to alter who they were as humans. Unfortunately, the strain of changing a person's very biology into something inhuman proved disastrous. All but one of the children perished, dying in horrible agony. The one that survived the pain was quietly ushered into the ranks to the Knights of Twilight, the only order that would accept such an abomination into their ranks.

Mocked by the other squires for his slit eyes and quiet demeanor, Ryker through himself at his studies, determined to surpass those that mocked him. Given his capabilities, it wasn't hard, and he found himself facing adult opponents despite barely reaching his teens. He picked up on how to use signs, memorized the bestiary, and even developed his telekinetic powers as a child. He was soon inducted into the order as a full member, where he traveled the world in search of monsters to slay. One of these first contracts would define the rest of his life.

A local countess hired him to investigate a dilapidated manor in the wilderness, claiming a dangerous common vampire resided inside. Ryker brewed his potions, crafted his bombs and prepared for the first real fight of his life. Upon arriving at the haunted mansion, he noticed several things were amiss. While the countess had claimed the building was abandoned, the place was well kept, with signs of an occupant living their for quite some time. When Ryker confronted the creature of the house, he was not greated with hostility but a bored acceptance. The monster's dismissive attitude fanned the flames of his youthful temper and the two fought. Ryker fought well, perfectly in fact, but without the equipment or experience he soon found himself at the mercy of the vampire. Yet instead of claws at his throat, Ryker's defeat was met with a hand to rise up. The vampire prepared a meal, wondering what exactly he was that tasted like a human but off, and the two talked through the night, the hunter tense and the creature of the night seeming genuinely intrigued. After Ryker told the beast, who introduced himself as Aleksandr Pyotrovich Vasiliev , or Sasha, who gave him the contract, he was told to show the countess his medallion and observe the results. The hunter was confused, but agreed.

When Ryker met with the countess, he told her the deed was done that the house was safe but he had to burn the body. As she handed him his payment, he brushed her hand with his pendant, causing her to flinch back as if splashed by boiling water. As Ryker realized what was happening, a shadow descended upon the countess. Sasha had followed the hunter back, and upon seeing she was a vampire feasted on her immediately. After thanking Ryker for the meal, Sasha offered to teach him all he had learned in his three centuries of existence. Ryker agreed, and the two became inseparable.

The vampire had much to teach him, from unarmed combat to how to properly address royalty so they would listen to his advice. But most importantly, Sasha made it clear that not all monsters were bad, just as not all humans were good. This helped quench the fires of revenge that had been burning since his youth, and made Ryker a more stable hunter. The two have hunted monsters throughout the world, and are currently in his homeland of Wyzkia after being summoned by Baroness Valeria Sobol, an old friend of his.
Goals: Keep the world safe from monsters. Cliche, I know, but after his mutations he needs to make himself feel as though his trials have been worth it.
Theme Song:Ronan Hardiman - Warriors. It's suitably witcher without being witcher

RP Sample: a long time later like 2 weeks or so steve broke up with tina and totally no the other way around. she couldn't handle how manly he was or how all the babes wanted to hold his hand and stuff. steve didn't care though and instead trained harder to become the ultimate ninja warrior of all time learning a gajillion ways to kill a man with his hands. all the babes thought he was the coolest and would fight to be with him. one day he became so strong the god of kung fu attacked steve because he was totally scared steve would replace him with his super cool ninja flips. the god of kung fu said "Im going to fight you steve" and steve said "not if i fight you first' and punched the god so hard that his head exploded. then the god of kung fu bowed to him and steve was the best and that any woman would be lucky to date him and then steve held hands with all the babes the end.

A little random, but I should mention that in real life, 400 Winged Hussars of the Polish Lithuanian Commonwealth absolutely trashed 40,000 Crimean Tatars at the Battle of Hodów
