Well, you if I remember correctly you were somewhere at some shack which could be literally anywhere. So you can go literally anywhere although I always advise heading somewhere were people are with whom you can form groups to interact. And the biggest group is currently at that one town with undead.

EDIT: I obviously didn't remember correctly. But what you wrote is almost just as good. Now, the question is, where is Dawnveil? And if it is a translated version of a native name because we obviously have human nations of different nationality and it would be odd to find settlements with an english name in a german or polis or russian or venecian cultured nation.

I don't even?
You literally put an entire city at war, which , btw, doesn't even have any regular Black Band troops in there, merely small group coming through.
You literally put an entire city at war against an almost non existant enemy even though they do have their own town militia/town mercs to protect them.
You literally put a city in a nation at war whose government and most people with enough money and interest in politics or trade frequently hire the Black Band.
You literally just started a war against the biggest mercenary organisation in the known world. And rest assured, the other Anselmia mercs will like to join in on the fun on their side if they get to know your agenda.
And last but not least, you escalated things quite a bit with just a single post in the very beginning of the RP. I didn't know that someone other than the OP could ever do that.

This town, a nice little ground for the foothold of the Anslem sect of the great guild that was coming to be known as Hammer, Iron, and Black. Another reason was because of the members of the Black Band, a group that had proven to be to troublesome for many communities. Now the target of abuse of Hammer, Iron, and Black as they began to rise up as a name to be trusted they where going to destroy any and all Black Band they could find. The main reason was of the mercenary side owned and operated by Gulag Iron, trained and vicious killers of orcish, human, dwarven and even dark elvish decent Iron stood as a testament that any race could be forged into a precise and deadly weapon. In the city of Anslem the Mercenaries of Iron where just itching for an excuse to go after members of the Black Band, anything that would put them above them in the pecking order for who the people would want on their side. In fact they would get their wish today, while in human territory the guild refused to allow orcish mercenaries into the towns for their own good the story was very different for Human and Dwarvish warriors aching for a chance to ambush and kill any foe they could.

When word came down that the Band had started to burn down houses and where raping women, Iron was more than eager to get into the fight and start an all out civil war in the middle of the city. It was time to show them in a quick swift strike that they where a relic, and one that would no longer be tolerated in this city. While the band was out eagerly enjoying themselves on their unchecked spoils in the city Iron Mercs took the chance to split them up and lob off heads, hit warehouses for supplies in quick numbers, and whip the local populace into a mad frenzy arming them with knifes and daggers and telling them to quote "Take back their city". While it wouldn't be done in a day the band was about to get his hard and unexpectedly. After this move, the streets where going to become a battleground, those not active in fighting the band where setting up roadblocks and sniper nets for archers in abandoned buildings or in houses of civilians who had taken enough from the band. If the Guild could push out the Band than the good deeds could be shouted across the land, "Do not fear the band!" was the outcry "The Guild works for the everyman!" another would shout protection of the many against the strong few. This was the agenda being pushed by the Guild, for if they could control the masses than they could control the gold they would spend.

While Iron mercenaries where busy setting up blocs, raiding known Band stores of weapons and food, the agents of Black known as his little Black Birds were out and about in many forms. Street Urchins where a favored little bird, children where often neglected and unwatched or wanted, this made them the perfect little spies. Who would suspect a stupid child of anything? A worthless unwanted soul to many, they where easy recruits to Blacks army of eyes and ears. In the chaos children where all around gathering words and sights, all to tweet them back to an overseeing officer who would help to direct the efforts of Iron Mercenaries, like the brains and nerves of a large beast going out to break the neck of a rather troubling little pest. When the children grew up they would be allowed a place in blacks personal guild of spies, that was if they proved useful. For now however they where just to watch and listen, to tweet and chirp from the shadows while the scalpel made of Iron cut away at the festering cancer that had for long infested this great city.

On the final note Hammer had his hand inside of this quickly developing pie as well, what other way than to swing support from the band than to offer protection to the merchants within the city, Hammer with his own dwarvish clan guards, began to offer great protection to those who would take it against the band. Without charging them so much as a copper coin for the protection their only request was that the Band be turned away. in return 2 guards of dwarves would remain at the shop to keep it safe from plundering. A three way strangle hold was to be imposed on this city, anyone who dared to call themself a member of the Band was to be black listed, if not outright killed. If Hammer could crush them economically and keep them from getting goods like food, arms, and even men. Then they could cut out the cancer completely in a matter of only a few months depending on how much food the band would be able to save after Iron had his fun. This city would be a symbol for what the Guild was able to do, not only to kill an enemy through force of arms, but in intellect and economics as well. It was to send a very clear message to all, the guild would protect those who could not protect themselves and in the process, they would force open the gates to the human realms for trade and if possibly even if only in economy and popular support, this entire city...There was still much work to be done.

First of all, there was a single woman raped in the middle of the night. Word would not have spread that fast, nor does anyone but Dante know that is was the Black Band. Second, no one has set the house on fire yet. Third, the Black Band would probably not have storehouses in Arys, a city where they don't have much of a presence. Fourth, and most importantly, no one in the city knows the Black band is there.

I am rather pleased with myself things where at a fucking 4 i turned it to 11 with a single post, i feel incredible. While these groups are mostly just a mercenary side who depend on other nations for support, the Guild of Hammer, Iron, and Black, are three parts, 2 of which own large parts of land in their respective countries, hammer himself in charge of several dwarf strongholds and mineral mines. I plan to fuck some shit up and im going to love every second of it, blood is in the water.

Character Application

Name: Eric Antoine Roch de Bellegard
Age: 40
Gender: Male
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual.
Race: Human. (Duivene)
Appearance:
Image
1.84m and 90 Kg.

Position/Status/Affiliation:
A former knight of the Order of the Twilight and the deserted heir to a noble title, Eric was once a supporter of the Ecclesiarchy, but no longer believes that the Church can help the world to evolve. Away from his siblings, Eric now is only affiliated to himself and to what he believes to be right.

  • Duke of Bellegard (Stripped of title, given to his brother)
  • Knight of Twilight (Exiled)
  • General of the Galdrsson Army

Skills/Powers//Magic:
A skilled swordsman, Eric is an expert at the art of fighting especially when using his personal sword, a skill honed by the War of the Seven Nations. As he was joined the Knightly Order of Twilight when he was a child, he is rather skillful in the battlefield against normal humans too. Against inhuman creatures, he is capable of using magic enhancing his endurance against corruption and attacks. However, he is mostly known for his offensive spell, which imbues his sword with a white light that does more damage to dark creatures.

He manipulates the white energy in the form of shields and personal protection as well. Through the use of magic runes he can order his sword to return to his hand even if the weapon is out of his reach.
Equipment:
  • Vowbreaker, previously known as Faith's Guardian, his personal sword and family heirloom. It is an enchanted sword, imbued with enchantments on the jewels that enhance Eric's white energy around the blade and allows it to return to the hand of his holder even if it is out of his reach. If needed, Eric can "lock" the sword's properties.
  • Armor and cloak. (see appearance)
  • A small kit of camping in case he needs to stop while he is traveling.
  • Some healing potions and herbs.

Personality: One would expect Eric to be a stern, serious, sad person. However, he found out that the biggest act of resistance was to keep himself alive and well, which reflects his personality: He can be serious when discussing business, and won't be a random, inconvenient comedian. He avoids talking about his past, but doesn't avoid voicing his dislikes about the Inquisition and the Ecclesiarchy: A habit that often puts him in trouble.
Moral Alignment: I wouldn't know what to put in here, to be honest.
Biography:

Born to Duke Alain de Bellegard and Duchess Henrietta de Bellegard, Eric is the oldest of the four siblings that composed the nobility of the Duchy. The religiousness of the Duiven Kingdom clearly expressed itself in the destiny of the child: As a result of a promise, he was bound to be inducted into a order of the Scripture, just like his father. However, unlike his father, he wasn't a Knight of the Dawn, becoming a sworn brother of the Scripture of the Evening Star instead.

Trained and inducted into the ways of the Ecclesiarchy, Eric was the exemplary noble of Duiven: A religious knight, who did everything he could do to further the influence of the Church. Quickly, he became one of the most promising knights, by skill and by personality. Even when the War of the Seven Nations came and he fought under the banner of lilies against any kind of threat, he firmly believed that it would bring a better era. He prayed to Spraevia for his fallen comrades, and kept himself strong in his faith.

At least until something happened. While he was away at a camp, a woman came to him, asking for the help of a Knight about a threat she couldn't describe. The Knight went away, confident that he could handle the threat personally. As they walked away from the camp, Eric was trapped as the woman revealed herself to be a priestess of the Cult of the Sins, one that followed the Sin of Luxuria.

During three nights, he was the object of her cults to Luxuria. Fellow priestesses came and joined in the cult, until he managed to free himself, eventually escaping his captor before he was sacrificed. As he returned to the camp, he was perceived as someone who tried to desert the battle. Eventually accused of the sin of Sloth, he was put on trial. The accusation of Lust fell upon him when another soldier said he saw Eric going out of the camp with a woman that accompanied him.

The Inquisition acted quickly and promptly: He would be sentenced to death, as an example to be set about how the Sins were everywhere, even in the life of a man who grew up in the Church. As he was being taken to the capital of the Kingdom, he freed himself from the Inquisitors and fled. It would be the last time he was Knight Eric. From that point, he was just Eric.

From Duiven, he fled to Calaria, embarking on a boat and living under the protection of the Galdrsson, away from the eyes of the Inquisition. It was in his years away from the traditional views of the Ecclesiarchy that Eric developed a considerable part of the personality he has today. Initially he was held as a prisoner, before being accepted (with hesitation) for the people that lived in the island. It was during an attack of a rival clan that Eric solidified his position, as he defended his new home with the use of his set of skills. As the tensions rose up, Eric helped the clan's leader to organize his defenses and structure an army, with his interventions being considered a turning point at the feud. The foreigner eventually was considered a General in the Galdrsson's army, a title he still holds, even if it is a hard information to know around the continent.
Goals:
He wants to return to his home, and free himself from the accusations the Inquisition placed in his head. At a long term goal, he wants to remove part of the influence the Church and the Inquisition acquired with time. He also wishes to find the priestess of Lust who used him and settle things, and wishes to repay Kartaria as a whole.
Theme Song: This.

RP Sample: Mana Academy.
Did you read the Rules?: Yes.
Miscellaneous: Guess that's it.

The post was mostly about a the fire, and my mistake on the fourth bit, the way i was interpreting the events that the Band was a known and active threat in the community and i springed off the idea. My mistake I shall edit it accordingly. Even still i could have easily blamed the band on a fire i set myself hysteria in these time would be rampent and long as you could get mob rule people would belive you. Even still I digress.

I have a certain ominous feeling, that you overstepped some limits. Though I won't mind.
It will give me the perfect excuse to put Anselm and the Mercs into a state of war against something, which will make further wars easier.

There isn't a fire yet and no one would know it was the Black Band.

It would be better if you deleted it, but, you know, as long as you don't use anything too meta...

It will give me the perfect excuse to put Anselm and the Mercs into a state of war against something, which will make further wars easier.

Well per co-op orders im editing the post so no war now sadly, i shall go do that now.

Well, better like that.
Because this was a superearly overescalation.

There isn't a fire yet and no one would know it was the Black Band.

It would be better if you deleted it, but, you know, as long as you don't use anything too meta...

See it was my thought the fire had started, i shall start over with the post. I do understand the concern, please know i was not trying to meta or anything, i may however start a few massive fires myself however and blame it on someone depending. Regardless the band can expect Mercs from the guild to show up and try to put out the fire while not exactly looking for a fight just putting that out there now.

Well...you can expect the band to do exactly the same...

Okay, I don't know what happened in the post, so I am confused.

When I read gang war, I imagined it as normal criminal underground stuff.
I'm a Romanian, a vampire, an anime enthusiast and a roleplayer.

Character Application

Name: Lucia Serafina Trista(originally Rosalia Casale)
Age: 20
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: She's what I like to call a 'raging asexual'. More on that in Personality.
Race: Human
Appearance:

Position/Status/Affiliation: Archbishop of Chastity, leader of the cult of Castitas
Skills/Powers//Magic: Lucia is incredibly skilled in white magic, both of the defensive and much rarer offensive variety. Although her offensive spells are quite powerful, her specialty, of course, is defensive magic, with focuses on healing(both in body, mind, and mana) and guarding others. Generally considered to be one of, if not the most powerful exorcist in the world, she is capable of completely canceling out most forms of mind-control(save those caused by the very powerful, such as other Archbishops) and expelling most any entity which may inhabit a person's body. Casting long spells is unnecessary for her, due to her scroll(more on that in Equipment), only making it more difficult to fight her. She fights almost exclusively with magic, although she carries a sword with her as well in the rare case that she needs it. Naturally, she's also been given the Authority of Castitas, allowing her to truly cleanse a person of lust, save those sad few who are too far gone to be rescued by any means. To defeat her, the best course of action is to focus on any allies she may have with her, since she values their lives over her own.
Equipment:
  • Spirit Scroll -- The scroll she carries contains the spells and chants she needs for her magic. This isn't to say that they're written on the scroll, but rather that the scroll itself is made of them. Because of that, it's lighter than a paper scroll and the amount it can hold is near-infinite. It's a very powerful item, one that took years to make, and allows her to say a single phrase indicating the spell she wishes to use--at which point it completes the spell on its own. It was created to have a will of its own, so that a thief who took the scroll without permission would be unable to use it--but were she to give the scroll to someone else, they would be able to use it so long as they knew the spells from which it was crafted.
  • Purity Robe -- The dress she wears is the same as all other members of the cult of Castitas. It is essentially a form of strong, yet incredibly lightweight armor and cannot be destroyed easily, thus helping to protect the wearer from any who might wish to do them harm. However, if worn by anyone but a maiden, it will be nothing more than a simple article of clothing.
  • Bonded Ring -- She carries a small silver ring with a translucent, icy blue stone set in it, which allows her to communicate with other members of the Cult of Virtues. Others must be near a mirror or a reflective surface, or hold a similar ring, in order to communicate.
  • Star Sword -- This weapon is a short sword with a blued steel blade. It is designed with a stellar and queen-like motif and has an ornate gold pommel and guard. Spells can be used on it, or it can be used to help direct them.

Personality: Kind yet stern, Lucia is caring when it comes to the innocent and harsh with those she considers guilty. She has very rigid views on sexuality, considering such activity outside of marriage to be sinful, and even looks at such things within marriage with slight disgust, not understanding people's interest in such things. She is, however, able to let others live their lives as they please, as long as they are doing so within the bounds of morality. Those she deems to be sinning, however, overcome by lust, are fair game. Despite her harsh nature in such situations, she genuinely wishes to help other people, and her actions stem from a desire to cleanse their souls and allow them paradise in the afterlife.
Moral Alignment: About on the line between Lawful Good and Lawful Neutral.
Biography: Secrety secret. Shhh.
Goals: To save as many people as she can, and fight the cult of Luxuria until she can fight no longer.
Theme Song: Necrofantasia(arrange)

RP Sample: Oh, please.
Did you read the Rules?: Neverrrrrrrrrrr.
Miscellaneous: Most of her equipment is shiny. Shiny things are good.

Exil saved the post in another post above, perhaps in a spoiler. It was an escalation of a situation that was out of taste and based on several misconceptions.

Okay, the misconceptions have been hopefully cleared.
