Equipment: Currently just a few scrolls for weak fireballs, a wand capable of levitating small objects (though it's lifespan is almost out), and a crossbow that hasn't been used once. And quite a few books from his old library.

Personality: Rasputin is an old clockwork machine. But you would never know. He's spent his whole life until the last 3 month's or so living in an ancient library long lost to time. It was only just recently uncovered, and now he's a young (mentally) man who just wants to learn and see as much as he can.
Moral Alignment: Neutral good, though hard to say outside of the good part.
Biography: Rasputin is a clockwork machine designed to play music on a piano. Instead, long ago he was lucky enough to be used by a mage who created life in him as an experiment. Not before disaster struck and he was buried in his library under the earth for a long time. When Rasputin awoke, the mage had drained himself of his own mana unable to stop the spell. His body long since gone. Rasputin would use all of the books in the library to teach himself much of what he knows. Eventually he would be excavated by a group of explorers, and since then he has travelled the human world looking to learn about what has happened, and hopefully a bit about himself.
Goals: Learn as much as possible from the world, and use that information to better it.

Alright well, this is going to be a little complicated. I do like the idea, but there are several issues with it from a lore perspective.

It's not impossible for such a being to exist in the world, the idea of magically playing around with souls exists, necromancy being the best example. The idea of playing around with souls and with inanimate objects exists too, like the creation of golems. But unlike with undead creatures, inanimate objects being brought to life with the help of magic are usually.. well, mentally limited. Your character seems to be well, incredibly intelligent, and that combined with the clockwork part of him (the world of Lonriel is still mostly in a medieval age of sorts), and with the ancient library makes it obvious that there is only one place from where your character could come - he needs to have been created during the age of the Thyrian Throne.

And that is problematic from several points of view. The Thyrian Throne was incredibly advanced in terms of magic, and the lore on them is mostly a secret, while if your character would have been stuck in a Thyrian library for so long, he would know a lot of stuff that the rest of the world doesn't. There is also the issue of his power. If he is a Thyrian creation, and if he can use ancient magic, then that would make him incredibly powerful. Even if he can't use much magic for now, that's a huge potential, and his magical ability of imbuing magic into items is probably more powerful than what the rest of the human realms are using.

So while I'm not denying the app, I'll have to think about it, and I might have to ask you to make certain changes to your app. I'll also need an actual RP sample, an IC post of yours.
