Could I make a mix of an scout and a medic/xenobiologist? They would be deployed first, be skilled in stealth and infiltration, able to gather biological samples for study, and heal/boost allies with serums (like Ana from Overwatch)? I think a rogue/medic could be fun.

Also couple lore questions:

1) Exosuits/Power Armor. Yay or nay?
2) Do Earthers know if aliens exist?
3) Does artificial intelligence exist?
4) Do nanobots exist?
5) How high is the tech level? Star Trek level? Star Wars Level? Lower?

As long as your character doesn't step too much on anyone's toes, we're good man!

1. Nay for Earthers.
2. Nope.
3. Yes, but it's very limited due to lack of development during the Environmental Crisis. Basically, it's still what we have today.
4. Yes, but not on the ship and they're very primitive.
5. Star Trek for the UFHP, Firefly for the Earthers.

He already did by TG, with a recommendation. I'm working on it.

That said, I can't say how many times in an RP signup I've seen someone reserve a position for an app that never materialized.

Like I said, there was a recommendation and I'm working with it. I'm intending to keep the skills, though I get I'm not going to be the primary.

Alright, so here's the equipment I was thinking about going with. Does this jive with the tech level of a crew member?

1) Biotic Ammo - Ammunition capable of temporarily granting a massive increase in the target's healing factor. A healing bullet.
2) Stim Ammo - Ammunition capable of "stimming" a target, increasing its strength, speed, agility, endurance, and reaction speed temporarily. Severe side effects if used multiple times in rapid succession.
3) Toxin Scrubbers - Nanobots that, upon injection, are capable of rapidly eliminating toxins in a target. Used to neutralize poisons and venoms.
4) Cloak of Invisibility - Cloak capable of reflecting light and dissipating heat, making the wearer invisible. Incredibly rare, and such will likely never be worn in a combat situation.
5) Containment Cubes - Airtight, expanding cubes capable of holding samples from the planets surface.
6) Bullet-proof suit - Suit capable of keeping out hostile environments, even after being shot.
7) Grapple Gauntlets and Magnet/Weight Boots - Standard mobility gear.

Free's offline, but as much as I love overwatch I question 1. The other stuff I'm less sure about, though I also question the bulletproof suit. No suit available to us is completely bulletproof.

All the equipment looks good! I like how you're going for a MMO medic style, shooting people to heal them.

Yeah, sorry, I spent like ten minutes literally throwing entire lists of names at CC so she could find a name for her nurse. It was... exhausting...

So is being an OP... Jesus, so many questions. I knew I should have written up all that lore before posting. I should have the second reserved post just for that by the end of this week.

What size is the Navi's Gate supposed to be? Are we looking at a mid-bulk transport or a battlestar?

Also, political situation dirt-side as of the beginning of the RP?

It might close up wounds, but it can't remove a bullet or fix a break...
Once again, I am not canon.

True enough.

It's temporary though, so I would also add that the substance is a. Highly addictive and b. If used too many times or for too long it causes cancer. Extreme cancer. That makes since scientifically.

What GAme said is also good!

I'd just like to point out that a carcinogen probably wouldn't be used to heal things :p
Though I suppose if you were a particularly unscrupulous doctor you could force damaged cells to replicate in a manner similar to cancer cells in order to heal, theoretically...

OK sweet! I'll get to work on the app then. Also, if you need help with world building/lore, I got you.

And yeah. I figure if I'm making a stealth centered combat character, it makes sense for them to heal at range. Also, I've playing a lot of Overwatch, and so Ana's on my mind, even if Mercy's in my heart.

Finally, trust me, I'll balance my equipment.

He's a xenobiologist combat medic!

Who cares if it's a carcinogen? That only kicks in if you get more than five shots a week! One shot should be good for one combat scene.

Yeah, I think treatments that cause more problems than they solve are generally avoided :p Maybe we could say its healing effects are only temporary and don't completely heal so much as just stitch things up until the battle is over, so to speak? That way the medic can keep folks alive in the short term, while the doctor patches them back together for good once the dust has settled ;)

Yeah, that's basically what I meant, knitting flesh back together without actually healing internal wounds permanently or removing bullets / fixing bones.

The Gate is as big as it needs to be to fit the first batch of characters. I expect it's a mod-bulk transport, though.

Ain't no politics you need to know. Dirt side doesn't matter in the RP, you're never going there again.

If it's for backstory, just run any ideas you have past me and I'll okay them or not.

So then are there any parasite ships? (Small craft that are good for surface-to-space runs but not deep-space travel on there own)

And it is for backstory, I'm just want to know what air force to have Vicious in that he learned all his skillz in. At the moment I've got it listed as CEAN.
