Would anyone be interested if I wrote, as a part of the Excalibur Files, a big ol' summary of all the interesting prewar strategizing that the British and French were doing in 39-40 and the preceding years?

I dunno how much of that stuff would ever actually end up in ES proper (maybe some of it could be roped in through Cutler or Ali, I guess), but it's all super-interesting stuff that never really gets talked about very much in most of the scholarship these days, and it puts the leadup and the first year of the war into a lot better context and perspective than the usual narrative ("Poland falls, nobody does anything for eight months, and then France collapses").

If you’ve got nothing better to do, then by all means. I’d be interested in reading it.

It's looking like the Excalibur Files background info is going to take about 30-35 Google Drive pages, but it all actually looks to be on schedule.
What my objective is with all this is that essentially, I'm trying to collate all information from all the books, internet sources, and weird RP guides that I have into one place, formatted into subjects and in a style that you guys (and I) can use productively.

It will also allow me to pontificate at length on incredibly niche historical topics, which is an opportunity that I have to seize as I get it.
