I see zero problems with this. Let’s do it.

I dunno how much of that stuff would ever actually end up in ES proper (maybe some of it could be roped in through Cutler or Ali, I guess), but it's all super-interesting stuff that never really gets talked about very much in most of the scholarship these days, and it puts the leadup and the first year of the war into a lot better context and perspective than the usual narrative ("Poland falls, nobody does anything for eight months, and then France collapses").

If you’ve got nothing better to do, then by all means. I’d be interested in reading it.

Looks good so far, just keep in mind we will probably have to relocate all this stuff at some point in the next week or so to the new OOC.

There should be a law passed that Osprey isn't allowed to retail their little WW2 books for more than $9.99, because they are absolutely preying on people like me who would otherwise pay $18.95 for a 58-page book about the uniforms of Vichy French troops

I need physical copies. I can't provide any good reason for it. I need a giant stack of physical pages. I am a desperately sick man.

I had to make a rule for myself wherein I will not pay more than $8 for Osprey products (not including shipping), which has reduced the financial damage somewhat

Just had a small kerfuffle with Amazon over Kindle books I bought under my old email address (a Yahoo one) which I abandoned after the password breaches. I can't register them under my new email, so either I have to buy them again or expose my current credit cards to the account that's tied to my old email.

And people wonder why, despite my being a techie, I prefer paper products.

It's looking like the Excalibur Files background info is going to take about 30-35 Google Drive pages, but it all actually looks to be on schedule.
What my objective is with all this is that essentially, I'm trying to collate all information from all the books, internet sources, and weird RP guides that I have into one place, formatted into subjects and in a style that you guys (and I) can use productively.

It will also allow me to pontificate at length on incredibly niche historical topics, which is an opportunity that I have to seize as I get it.
