Description: The Republic formed after the Miracle of Kona when Kona would bless the village of Cadmus for making him their patron deity worshipping him above all the other gods.Kona would return the rains to the desert parched region, and soon the village would prosper growing to a bustling city-state and a center of trade.A democratic system of government would develop has citizens voted on the best and brightest of the populace to become Head Consul, and a Senate would be made up to represent the city and the surrounding areas.A great temple would be built in dedication to Kona, and Cadmus would soon come to dominate the Medaterri Sea expanding across and unifying the Arcean Hinterlands through diplomacy, making the worship of Kona widespread around the region, soon great cities such has Xerxes, Xanthos,and Pentheus would blossom has the Republic brought civilization across these lands.

I did not really mean kings/ I really meant like the entire idea of Knighthood having its own god, and mixing in glory as well.

I think knighthood wouldn't be a ubique domain, as people could be knighted in the name of other gods. Chivalry and Glory with knights paying particular homage to him could work.

Yeah that was my plan, Maybe a nation similar to feudal France with him as a patron diety could work to ? that or a Knightly order that travels across the world preforming acts of valor in hopes of attracting the attention of Said god.

Bronze Age Character

Name: Ordepidus of Cadmus
Appearance:

Personality: He can be witty, and stands back and sees what an appropriate approach or solution might be to something. He tries to be patient but will strike if he sees fit to do so.
Bio: Ordepidus was born in the oldest part of the Republic of Cadmus. His mother was a weaver that sold cloths and togas and such at a humble market stall, and her signature stretches of cloth were as blue and silky as the sky or as white and soft as the clouds. One day the God of the Sky, Kona, came to Ordepidus' mother and regaled her with tales and humor. They hit it off that day, and after a few more days of courtship, a child was sired. Ordepidus did not initially display any kind of special powers, although his mother still thought he was special, but the priests weren't as sure. Ordepidus would grow as any child would, although he was a little more resistant to disease and illness than other children were, however exposure could yield a cold, as usual for any human.

It was around his younger teenage years (around puberty, he was kind of embarrassed to admit) was when he began displaying small signs that he had powers over the air. By 15 he could make breezes, and by 18, he could make a localized wind storm. No matter how hard he pushes his powers, it seems more power over the wind wouldn't be possible without ultimately killing him, but he didn't complain. He had much more power than many other people could claim. Still, he ended up getting a job at a farm helping to get wind through the fan of a windmill. He was always interested in swordsmanship, however. He was pulled towards fighting, so he got an apprenticeship with a warrior so that he could learn how to fight, while maintaining his windmill job. After basic training was done, however, Ordepidus was pulled away from windmilling to fight with his master abroad. They had fought highwaymen and the usual wild nuisance, but his master saw him doing more, especially with the powers he had. They learned with each other on how to fight certain monsters and what to fight them with, what their strengths and weaknesses were. Soon, however, Ordepidus received news that his mother had perished, so he returned to Cadmus to see her buried and to tell her goodbye. While Ordepidus was away, his master was waylaid by a group of bandits and was ingloriously slain. Now Ordepidus seeks vengeance for his master's slaying, and intends to make sure the few years of training were not in vain.

Name: Lyras
Appearance: Roughly 5' 9" in height, Lyras quite intentionally makes it difficult for anyone (especially mortals) to be able to tell rather their deity is actually man or woman. This is, again, by design and fully intended, keeping his appearance perfectly in the middle such that there can't really be a wrong answer without, uh, checking. A lithe physical build, with silvery/gray mid length hair and dulled purple making his eyes. Possess a pair of ethereal wings which glow between a deep purple to a silvery bright grey, a gentle green, blue, and other colors.
Domain: Space (AKA Infinity, Time has a brother now )
Secondary Domain: Probability
Alignment: True Neutral
Description: While called True Neutral, Lyras always thought the definitions corresponding with this were off. In his eye, he was true chaos. Unpredictable to the maximum, switching from good, to evil, to apathy and every spot in between with neither time nor logic, or anything else playing a factor other than that he can, and so he does. His mood can and often is highly erratic, despite this he does very little. In his own words, preferring to watch the grand show of the mortal plane as new Lost file in to their eternal rest (maybe) in his home. If he wants something done, rather than actually do anything, Lyras prefers to have the Karia do it, though often times they unintentionally complete his wishes before he knows them.

Unlike other followings, it is near impossible to be shunned from those who bow their head to the God of Infinity, as his only real rule is to worship him. Beyond this, he couldn't much care in the slightest what you do. It's not unheard of Lyras to randomly, without reason, grant powers, or powerful artifacts to mortals simply because he can and thinks something amusing will come from it, to him this can mean literally anything. Being the obvious pursuer of any and all joy he is, it comes as no surprise that the God of Space does not know that the word 'inhibitions' exist, and it is infact common for his avatar to play an act of boy and girl. At the same time, of course.

In the end, be it pure chaos, or pure harmony that comes from his small tweaks in the progression of reality, there is no real way to upset or disappoint this deity. He will find amusement in anything, even your failure, one way or another.

Plane: Given the name "Dimension of Eternal Lost", it is about as predictable as it's creator. Notable, this means not at all. The entire plane is home to it's own set of psuedo pocket realities where the faded forms of once living creatures roam about. Upon death, one generally assumes they'll meet the Divine Kingdoms of either Thanatos, or Shalan, for DEL is often forgotten, as it's name implies, 'Eternally Lost'. DEL is where lost souls go, ones who fit neither Hell, Shalanissal, nor roaming upon the earth which they died. DEL is Eternal, and inescapable, with the one exceptional rumor that escape is possible, if one makes a pact with Lyras, enslaving themselves for eternity in exchange for reincarnation, as a Karia.
The plane, otherwise, constantly changes appearance dependent on where in it you may be, though where Lyras is often found to sit is nothing more than a miasma of color, energy and space freely floating and mixing with ease.

Name: Karian
Appearance: Human of either gender, usually with a faded hair and eye color, with a small dot of color in their eyes (one of 13 designating their strength), they appear as any build, height, or variation of human thereof. Unlike humans, Karian's are biologically immortal (no disease or aging), and those above the 4th power rank possess wings they are capable of hiding, which they may present either as feathered, or in their naturally intended ethereal form.
Description: Karians are reincarnated Lost, who gave up their soul to the God of Space, Lyras. In exchange, he reborn them as a Karian, with a randomly selected level of power that is essentially a severely watered down version of Lyras' own. This power, called Kinetics, is the general purpose control of energy, something rather useful if one intends to be god of all things known as 'Space' and 'Infinity'. Its id the definition of a Jack of All Trades power, capable of creating fire, lightning, or any other element. Certain power levels can use it to heal, and the very strongest tiers can eve mimic their god himself. This means, making alterations to probability, space, and due to their very close relation, sometimes even time. While they cannot completely alter probability, or space, or straight stop time or change the past or travel to the future, they are capable of slowing it.
Such higher end powers may come with various asterisks, such as causing severe physical harm to the user, or requiring certain conditions to activate. In rare occurrences, there is only the one normal drawback of their death conditions.

This power also comes with partial immortality, they cannot die by age or disease. However, a knife is still as deadly as it ever was, and as a price for their power set, a Karian which is killed, is annihilated from existence. Permanently. No body, no soul, nothing. Gone. It goes without saying, that Karian's are very, very, very, very, very rare, not many lost souls are keen to trade their eternal afterlife (even one in the Dimension of Eternal Lost) for a CHANCE that maybe they could do something cool. Like kinetic lightning.

Karians otherwise live as normal humans, free to do as they wish, as they were before they died. On rare occasion, Lyras may want some task done he couldn't be bothered with himself (which is pretty much anything), and only at this time, for that temporary period, does a Karian not have complete free will. They live in human societies generally, and no known Karian civilization or city has ever existed, due to their low numbers, spread out over the Mortal Plane, and their generally gloomy moods.
