The Blessed have been called multiple things. Raiders, cultists, psychopaths, barbarians, slavers you name it, they've probably been called it. A fanatical faction, the Blessed worship the Pre-Catastrophe ruins, believing that these ruins are sacred lands of their God: Thexaloco, the Lord of the Lands and Waters. They're violent, unpredictable and fairly organized for a bunch of people who worship a few skeletons of buildings. While they aren't organized enough to wage war against the other factions in the Sarabythn Region, they still manage to raid various towns and villages, kidnapping citizens of other factions to sacrifice to Thexaloco or to enslave.
Loosely made up of a few towns and villages, the Prosperity is the closest thing to democracy in the Sarabythn Region. Its government is made up of representatives from each member settlement, as they will vote and decide on various motions and act together. These representatives are elected from their respective settlements. While the Prosperity isn't an aggressive or expansionist faction, they do field their own small, standing military force, which composes mostly of militiamen given some sort of training. Much like the rest of the Sarabythn
Region, the Prosperity are strong believers in the dominant religion: Hybartha, the worship of the Sun.
Saying the Tourka is a faction is putting it lightly. The Tourka, better known by their full name Tourka Jasathyaw, is a militaristic and totalitarian dictatorship-run faction whose main goal is the total domination of the Sarabythn Region. This means coming into conflict with the various factions that inhabit the region. While the Tourka are one of the stronger factions in the Sarabythn Region, they are hampered by constant infighting between their military leaders, each one wanting to obtain more power and have a bigger role in the faction than the next.
Tall Ones are a creature from the depths of Hell, many say. While mostly peaceful despite its grotesque and massive appearance, the Tall Ones have been theorized to be a sort of a mother figure to the Remnant, as a Tall One resting spot tends to have an absurd number of Remnant birth pods. There has not been a link whether if the Tall Ones are the same species as the Remnant, but one thing is clear is that the Remnant are even more aggressive around Tall Ones.
As a result, Tall Ones should be treated with extreme caution and should be avoided at all means if possible as they are quite mysterious in nature as well.
Ferocious and violent beasts, Hellbeasts are permanently blind and are unable to see, relying on their echolocation, smell and hearing to navigate around the Pre-Cat Ruins. Reported able to eat an entire man with one bite, Hellbeasts are loner creatures and are able to track their prey for days before striking. Intelligent and vicious, much like the other creatures mentioned, Hellbeasts should be avoided at all costs.
Glassed Ones are probably one of the very few Pre-Cat Ruins creatures who will actively venture out of the ruins in search of prey, namely livestock and unwary humans. They function much like wolves, hunting in packs and strategically singling out their prey, tracking them before striking. Not only are the Glassed Ones dangerous, but are also worshiped by the Blessed as being creatures of their God. Regardless, as dangerous as the Glass Ones are, they are not as dangerous as the other creatures on this list.
Humanoid in nature, Remnant are assumed to be originally human before being exposed to a rare strand of the [insert disease name here]
that instead bleached their skin and removed their vision. Predatory and almost mindless, Remnant are extremely aggressive and will attack their targets in waves of suicidal charges. They seem to be mindless in nature and have only two priorities in their typically short lives: reproduce and consume. Unlike the other creatures mentioned, Remnant are hostile to everything but Tall Ones, which includes other Pre-Cat Ruins creatures.

Alright, so can I get thoughts on an OOC issue? About characters, do you guys want to have a "one and done" character or have the ability to "respawn" as other characters if your previous one is killed?

So if we choose one and done does it means if our characters die we cannot join in the RP no more?

Basically, just to make the loss of life have more impact. Plus I don't see a way new characters can join in say if the group is in a Pre-Cat Ruin under attack by a huge group of monsters.

The NPCs/Backup Chars don't always have to be in the story, just enough so when a character dies, the owner can still continue after the plot allows the NPC to join the group. What do you think about it?

I often see people doing less than practical things that should end their lives.

1. Alright, so do you think you could help me out then? You can use the online program Inkarnate to create these maps.
2. Right so permacharacter death, you only get one, do not pass go? Seems dope, I sorta want people to be frugal with their characters' lives.
