Democratic East-Asia wrote:Near the end of the Great War, Germany was in ruin: its citizens starved and coffers empty. Years of Entente blockades and constant fighting on the Western Front had drained the nation of manpower and resources, while citizens became increasingly upset with their rapidly deteriorating living standards. As peace dawned, it became apparent that the victorious powers had no intent of giving any sort of fair treatment to Germany, all in the meantime while violence within the newly founded German Republic threatened to tear the nation apart. Various leftist groups under the leadership of the Spartacus League and soon to be Communist Party of Germany prepared to rise against what they considered an ineffectual and dictatorial government. On the 4th of January, 1919, they struck against the heart of the German Republic itself: Berlin.
A mass demonstration that turned into a full on riot erupted, as hundreds of thousands of workers took up arms and stormed many key buildings within Berlin. As revolutionary leaders Rosa Luxemburg and Karl Liebknecht attempted to resolve the issue at hand (overthrowing the government or negotiating with it), rioters discovered a poster detailing the imminent Freikorp suppression of the uprising. Almost immediately, they began preparing for the coming attack. In the meantime, negotiations had begun with associated movements such as the Bavarian Soviet Republic and numerous Workers' and Soldiers' Councils around the country. Weapons had been appropriated from friendlier naval units within the city, while barricades were erected.
A battle erupted in the coming days as Freikorp paramilitaries battled against the Spartacus League and its associated worker's councils and allied military units. Defeat seemed inevitable due to the Freikorp's superior firepower, that is until a friendly force sent by the Bavarian Soviet intervened near the last minute, and drove Freikorp troops from the city. In light of victory, the German People's Republic was declared, and a interim government put into place. The socialist revolutionaries quickly made plans to spread the revolution across the nation.
The former Entente would not have any of this.
As German revolutionary forces streamed across the country relatively undeterred, French soldiers stationed in the occupied Saarland intervened and threatened war against the new German People's Republic. Still war weary and militarily / economically exhausted, the GPR complied and agreed to peace. Germany was then split between the eastern GPR and remnant western Republic of Germany, which eventually annexed Austria following a referendum as the years progressed. Yet despite this clear prevention of a unified, socialist Germany, ripples would be sent throughout the world.
Germany's revolution was only one of the many that would occur in the coming decade. As Germany stabilized, passive aide and encouragement of many Eastern European socialist movements helped spur increasing waves of revolt across the continent. Combined with Russian interventions and military force, within 10 years most if not all of Eastern Europe and parts of the old Russian Empire had fallen under communist rule. Combined with the growing movements within parts of the old Ottoman and Persian Empires, communism had come to dominate a large part of Eurasia. As the red world expanded, the capitalist west looked on in fear. The red scare, unlike our timeline, was many times worse. Deterring and stopping communism became core principles in many European nations, which rallied in face of the red tide.

Totally fine. However, be sure to detail history after the initial revolution. That's about it.

You can choose to play as any of Britain's dominions, but for the most part a majority of the major nations are reserved / taken. You could always RP as a colonial government as well, just be sure to ask the players who owns those colonies.
Key players: Japan, Italy, and Germany are also included. They are rather important in resisting the communists in Eurasia.

I read your OP thoroughly before responding above ^. But the situation in Germany still troubles me. SO basically there's a German Democratic state as well as that of the Communists and the UESR?

Military Description
Army: The FOCS military consists of a few squads, spread sparsely throughout Slovenia and Croatia, that commit sabotage and ambush acts decided upon by their squad leader. These squad leaders report to territory leaders whom report to Dujovac. Efforts as a whole resistance group are few and far between as of right now.
Navy: Does a sailboat count?
Air Force: ? What is an Air Force?
Organization Goals : Liberate Croatia and Slovenia from the Reds
History : The Freedom Organization of Croatia Slovenia found its roots in, of all places, the average citizen. The people of the small town of Brulec ( population 300, now destroyed) realized that Communism hurt the average person after the town fell into poverty due to nationalized agriculture instead of agriculture by the citizen. This town began holding protests against the new government, under former Serbian Colonel Joseph Dujovac. The UESR caught wind of these protests and troops were dispatched to settle the crowd. Unfortunately, things did not go as planned. Troops began firing on the civilians killing 243 before the crowd was able to disperse, including Dujovac's wife and children. From there on, uprisings continued throughout the nation as more people realized the errors of Communism and joined the Rebellion. Now, Dujovac begins to strike for the first time.

Head of Government : Parliament Speaker Walter Ulbricht
Government Description : Each province elects three officials to represent them in the Parliament. The Premier is elected by popular vote, and presides over Parliament meetings as well as steering Parliament in the right direction. Currently the Parliament has a 90% Communist majority, the rest of it split between various other parties. The Speaker for the Parliament is elected by the Parliament, from willing MPs. The Speaker is expected to voice the majority, as well as the minorities concerns. Judges for the Court systems are either appointed by the Premier in some cases, or voted on by the popular vote. The Supreme Court can veto the Premier's executive orders, or legislative decisions. The Supreme Court can only be overruled after a randomly picked panel of legislatures and other judges votes against them. The Constitution of the PFRG has 9 basic rights insured to citizens, and can only be changed by a referendum on the proposed change that results in 70% or more support for the change.
The Constitution ensures:
-Freedom of Speech and assembly.
-Freedom from Capitalist exploitation/slavery, and a minimum wage tied to the value of the PFRG Mark.
-The right to not be discriminated against, regardless of sexual orientation, gender, or ethnicity.
-The establishment of the three branches of government, Judicial, Executive, and Legislative.
-The right of the Parliament to impeach the Premier.
-The checks and balances of the governmental branches.
-The right to of education to all PFRG citizens.
-The right to vote for all citizens.
-Right to fair trial.
-Right to believe in a higher power.
-Right to personal property, which includes a mid sized home.
Note: There are more rights and stuff, these are just the basic ones. Tell me if I missed anything.
Territory : Communist Germany as indicated on map
Territorial Ambitions : All of Germany, Austria and Switzerland, possibly occupy parts of France.
Capital City : Berlin, same everything as RL Berlin
Population : 40 Million
Majority/Official Culture : German, with various minorities including but not limited to the Jews.
Majority/State Religion : Atheism majority, with a Secular state
Major Industries / Economic sectors:Car and other transport manufacturing, Steel Production, Agriculture, Appliances and other industry.
Amount of Industrialization : Significant, complex Public Transport systems mirror the complex layout of German cities. Residential areas are usually near to the center, commercial areas usually near the middle 'ring', and industry is in the outer 'ring'. Factories have high smokestacks to help keep air pollution near the ground as low as possible. Air pollution is still a significant problem, and environmental legislation has helped to curtail it though.
Economic Description : Every major industry is state organized, with workers committees deciding how individual factories and industrial farms are run, within reason. Every person is insured a job by the state, and is required to fill out a form reviewing their job preferences on their 18th Birthday. The Department of Labor does its best to make sure citizens are happy in their jobs, and receive a good salary. Goods sold inside the state rarely have more than a 15% mark up, as there are no CEOs or share holders living in Mansions anymore. The former royal family of Germany is allowed to live and stay in their residences, but must work to maintain most of their old estate as a Museum. They do not receive any tax payer money, other than their salary.
Military Description
Army:1 Million full time soldiers, 6 million in reserve. There are also 2,140 Tanks in the army, mostly Panzer IIIs
Navy:40 U-Boats, 36 Destroyers, 2 Battleships, 2 Aircraft Carriers, 17 Torpedo Boats, 10 Light Cruisers, 3 Heavy Cruisers, 45 Patrol Boats, 150 Reserve ships that can be pressed into service.
Air Force:6,000 Fighters, 740 Bombers, 450 Transports, 100 Scout aircraft.
National Goals : Uniting Germany and Austria, reclaiming land lost to France (eventually).

After the initial revolution, A revolutionary council lead by Rosa Luxembourg and other revolutionaries began planning an election. It took two years to stabilize the nation, and plan out the new government. A referendum was taken in 1921 to determine if the populace would accept the new government and constitution. The response was a resounding yes, they would. Elections were held imminently afterwards. Paul Lange was the first Premier, and served two four year terms. In the 1926 elections, he was replaced with Karl Liebknecht, who was elected again in the 1930 elections, and was then replaced by more moderate Hugo Eberlein, who was voted out of office in 1934. Clara Zetkin was elected, and served as the first female Premier until the January elections in 1938, where she was voted out of office and conceded to Rosa Luxembourg. An assassination was attempted at the inauguration, with Rosa being shot in the leg due to the shooters bad aim. The shooter was caught, and was executed by firing squad. Rosa survived and went on to be the present leader of the PFRG.
