Tedstantium Solar System, Tedstantia
Alister smiled at the response. New people from a another solar system meant a lot more luxery items in the future. He decided that the terms set before him were agreeable and would likely put them on good terms with this 'collective'. He notifies the trade fleet of the update. The deal was to be made. The Tedalonians cared not who they trade with or of what origins; to them profit is the most important thing. Ofcourse the Tedalonians would love to get to know them better, but business always came first.
Approach to Collective Colonies
The Fleet continued its course to the collective colonies, and prepared to grab the starcharts. They were always use to trading the riches of the Tedstantia, and found it strange that they didn't want the luxery goods. This made many Tedalonians skeptical of the collective, because they thought that everybody needs to enjoy a bit of luxery, however they shrugged the strange request off and decided that this was a trade deal of a lifetime. For trading with an inter-galactic nation is far greater than trading with a inter-star nation.

The fleet lands in the far reaches of the collective colonies. They'd send a transmission to the collective official requesting a place to trade. They may not have the best star charts, but anybody who has traded, anybody who was found by the trade scouts, and anybody who had let them attempt to negotiate a trade would be on the Tedalonian star chart.

Menkara Khacild's patrol fleet

Menkara began to pace around his command center, he wasn't trained for this, and even if he was they never encountered something like this before. He was about to send a message when he received a message over the emergency transmission. "Fleet Commander Menkara, I have received word from the Triarchs", it was the captain of the frigate he had sent back. The message was sent to his ship the Senior Triarchs vestige appeared on the screen, "Menkara Khacild, it has been shown to us that you have made contact with a race with power unseen up to this point in our history, you are to do what is in your power to insure peaceful terms with this state. Do not fail us."

Menkara was simultaneously relieved and terrified at the same time, he now had the power to give the Prime-Commander the information that he wanted. He also faced the risk of getting censored or worse if he failed here. He put aside his fear and began a message to the Collective.

"Prime-Commander Shovan, I have received orders from my superiors authorizing me to take on the duties of the diplomatic service temporarily. I am uploading the coordinates of several border colonies and areas of interest of the Triarchy." he stopped to think about the next part before going on. "Is there anything else you would like to know Commander."

Border of the Unknown Regions
System 4;719

Within a few hours of the initial group's arrival, the Relay Megatower and the rest of the Initiative fleet showed up, entering realspace from a conventional warp movement and beginning to set up equipment for the salvage operation. They soon found that they were not alone, however, when an unknown spacecraft made its way into the system and began to approach the group of nomads. The instant it arrived and the fleet was made aware of its presence, they immediately activated their weapons and amplified their shields, expecting that it was heralding a much larger incoming force intent on destroying the Initiative. They were quite surprised when it instead attempted to open a communication channel with Arbitrator's ship, which was a Fourier-class light battleship named the IFGS Inferno. Reluctantly, the fleet commander agreed to respond, sending only an audio link and not broadcasting directly onto their screen - after all, he was wired into his ship in a way that most would see as offensive or disturbing, and if they wanted a peaceful contact, the Initiative would need to give a good first impression.

"This is FC Arbitrator, leader of the Initiative of the Free Galaxy. I'd like to ask both who you are, and why you've contacted me. Out here, we generally rely on the assumption that everyone's trying to kill us, so this is... something of a surprise."

After finishing the message, he opened a private comm link with the ship captains in the fleet to ask them if they knew anything about what the unknown ship was. Unfortunately, none of them had an answer; of course, the galaxy was an enormous place, and even if these strangers had a civilization spanning thousands of systems, it wasn't terribly unreasonable to assume that the Initiative had simply never seen them before. Perhaps, though, the strangers had seen the Initiative.
"I guess everything really does happen at once sometimes."

The VCMR is likely far less interested in interfering with those below than it used to be.

Trade with the Teldonians

"Landing your ship isn't necessary." Came the reply message from the worker who received the information. "In fact, given the high gravity, the unsafe levels of radiation and high heat levels on our worlds, I would recommend staying in. This will only take a moment." The worker explained as a small spherical drone floated up to the ship, scanned it and returned to it's station. Within a few moments, the two huge, cubed hunks of metal were transported into their cargo bay. "If you are scanning for signals with your vessel, you will notice an open connection, please upload your information when it is convenient." The work explained. Their planets weren't made to support organic life. The gravity was approximately 3.23 times that of a planet normally capable of sustaining life, and the Collective didn't want their new trade partners to wind up irradiated, melted, and unable to stand up. That wasn't a very good first impression.

The Reply to Captain Mankara

"Excellent." Came the Commander's response. He had to think of the best way to ask the next few questions without sounding like he was trying to plan for something. He wasn't. Curiosity was practically hardwired into the Collective. As he was formulating a response, the good Captain had sent the locations of several areas of interest to the Triarchy. "At the moment, you have answered the questions I was about to ask. I would like to start our relationship on a good foot so to speak. The Collective is all about assistance and advancement. Are there any sections of your empire that need assistance? We would more than happy to assist."

Trade with the Collective
They uploaded their information relating to the potential trade systems to the best if Tedalonians trade partners.
They send a message, "Before we go we want to ask you something. Are you interested in any long term trade? Perhaps maybe some luxurious items? Or maybe the highest quality cuisines? If you need to trade let us know."
They prepare to leave, but waited intently so they can hear the Collective's response. They loved long term trade partners and even if they can't trade valuable tech. They hoped that trading their cultural items would get them some form of currency that they could use.

"We're very much interested in becoming long term trading partners." Came the reply from Prime Military Commander Jackson. "Though our entire race is one hundred percent mechanical. So food is not anything we are looking to buy. Not that we doubt your ability to make it, but we just don't have the facilities to store it, nor can most of us actually enjoy it to the capacity that you would. At the moment, we are not interested in trading our technology, but we are more than welcome to sell our services." Jackson explained. "We also don't have a form of currency. All members of the Collective enjoy a decadent and fulfilling lifestyle at no cost. While resources are a common thing we trade with, we also trade in services. For example, if you wanted some buildings or ships or what have you, constructed, we can have it done in less than 100 hours. Varying on the size and complexity of the structure and order in question of course."

Diplomat Traxišematalu chuckled before responding, setting the ship's translator to the language spoken by the members of the Initiative, as they doubtlessly would be unable to decipher her mother tongue.
"Greetings. I am Traxišematalullayiko, profession designation: diplomat. I represent the aeons-old Qali'šitahi à Thakurewecheteko," she said, maintaining a highly professional and monotonous voice, "You may not have known of our civilisation, but we know of yours. We originally came to this system to investigate the signal so close to our territories. We would have returned upon seeing this scavenging operation had we not recognised you and your fleet to be the Initiative, which has acquired a reputation as a less-than-peaceful organisation. Thus, we deemed it necessary to inquire as to your purpose here. It is our hope that your intentions are peaceful."

Trade with the Collective
The Tedalonians did not expect such a strange response, "we'll need to consider this, but welcome to our own little galaxy! We hope to be trading with you again soon."
And with that the fleet departs to return with the metals. The fleet sets out to return to the Tedstantium Solar System. This was certainly a interesting trade for the Tedalonians for a culture without a need for luxery goods or food makes a unsatisfying trade partner, but their offer was interesting. The President Esteemed will need to decide this.

Confederation of the Uesugi
Echigo
Starnium class Battlecruiser Vincula stulti (chains of fools)
50 ABR (110TG)

Shogun President Taigo Nagato felt the small Malevolent class frigate shudder as it docked with the pride of the confederate navy, The Starnium class warships that were a favorite among
the big shelled Teste admiralty and generals that were part of the military command. They were literal symbols of the sheer Power of the Slaving race, built on the backs of around 50 to 300
million Bakedaisti and crewed by nearly 20,000 different people with many jobs suited for their personalities and positions. It would make a new cadet squeal when he would be assigned one
of the newer ships in the fleet, to brag to their families and friends back home at the cushy backseat from any boarder conflicted roles that would bore the average sailor out of his witts, but not on the vast 9 kilometer long "kings of the fleet",with countless amenities for the local sailor, evident from his short brisk walk onto one of the entrances to the Battlecruiser. He noticed a company of white uniform cladden Teste wielding Naginata Carbines, the smaller weapon that the military used, besides from the unwieldy Yari Spear.
"Ah,Uniformed Testes! Come here, I would like for you to direct me to the meeting room?"
An annoyed tone spat out from one of the Teste before realizing who he was badmouthing.
"Get your own god-damned room for the love of Yalroushi and all his Kelbarb-"
"Your Excellency! Please execute me for insubordination,I have committed a sin against your heavenly form!"
Nagato felt a bit embarrassed at the display that was occurring for him, causing him to meet the kneeling and repenting Teste face to face.
"Son,I appreciate your service to the Confederation, just make sure to tidy up a bit more and realize who you're speaking to,alright?"
"Y-Yes dear lea-"
"Call me Taigo."
The Teste soldier seemed to choke on the t word before hacking it out as one would cough as water went down the wrong pipe.
"T..Taigo."
With a small pat on the back, The Shogun President walked through another door, putting the incident of insubordination behind him and onto the boring conference meeting that he had
begrudgingly set out here to do. Staring into the room, he saw a pair of Teste Generals, a Hattori Admiral and two Isone commanders sitting at a long table, reminiscent of centuries past
when people would meet in rooms to discuss things, apparently while technology had advanced, traditions were stuck like a jar of honey in the past and yet conformed only a tad to the
present. Studdering before the group of uniform clad specie, he merely welcomed them to the meeting, with a symphony of unimpressed eye rolls and annoyed sighs in their throats.
"Welcome Generals Relly Stup Idd, Notta V.reesmart, Admiral Li Tao, Commanders Mufasta Rajak and Kali Dabdullah to this Military Meeting,We are to discuss possible plans for the Empire's
Expansion.I would like to have General Idd go first."
General Relly Stup Idd staggered up from his frosty shell and smiled before taking a swig of a local smoking product.
"Now then,I would like for An Increase in Escort ships to be built at forty nine systems across the empire, with a target of 300 Malevolent class frigates being produced a year on each
system, giving us an additional 14,700 Malevolent class frigates in our navy's arsenal, and I would enjoy for them to be deployed along the internal trade routes to prevent piracy from
occurring."
Admiral Li Tao motioned to stand.
"Now, General Idd, me Being an Admiral with advanced intelligence on shipbuilding compared to your limited information on space being a general in the Confederation Army,I Know that the
best course for the plan would be to Build up just nineteen shipyard worlds with orders of 200 Malevolent frigates each, this will enable an increase by 3,800. While it may not be the
substantial war boost you are proposing,I can firmly believe that if we repeat it four times the amount, it will exceed your planned amount by 500 more frigates in the navy."
"If we were planning on repeating it, Admiral shitface, Why couldn't we just have our Bakedaisti labor work twice as fast, hell, why not triple the amount of shipyards-"
"Because Naval Resources are allocated by the Confederate Naval Congress on Distri-"
"There you go with your big ass words again, take those words and shove them up your ass!"
"I fail to see what shoving language, which is something not physical and putting them up the body's rear en-"
"It's an expression you fucker!"
Taigo Nagato was begining to get irked at the language being tossed around, and savagely roared from the table his thoughts.
"I want both of you to stop fighting right now! We are merely discussing the possibility of adding more escort ships to prevent piracy, if we fail to prevent piracy, we lose slaves, which
I am sure the Isone would loath to do, and I could cut your budget by 90% in a snap, so shut the fuck up and work something out by tomorrow,I'm done with these fire laden meetings in
which fuck all gets done!"
With a fiery puff in his voice, Nagato turned around to proceed back to the frigate, as he turned back, he realized the failure in high command he had under him, a bunch of bickering
specie with many different goals, he was only grateful the Isone did not speak in the meeting.

Echigo
Shogunate Presidential Residence

The Thin and gaught looking Hattori guided the Bakedaisti slave in pouring a pipping hot cup of Kraul-Dull, a local drink. The sliding doors opened and an exhausted Taigo Nagato came
through the doors into his office of solitude.
"Your Majesty Elect,Such an honor in seeing you once more, would you care for a cup of Kraul-Dull while I go over some papers with you?"Jin Lee thoughtfully asked as Nagato's stunned look
gave a firm shake and he was brought back from his breif sleep.
"Huh? Yeah, yeah, that'll do nicely."
With a small crease of a smile on Jin Lee's usually stone faced lips, Nagato began to muse through several documents on his desk.
"National Emancipationist Union Act,no no, Testing for underage Criminals act, hell no, Executing babies for crimes against the state-yeah, I'll sign this one into law."
With a slight smirk on his face, he poured his heart into his work as the day ticked by.
"Your Majesty Elect, It is time to get going."
"To Where,exactly?"
"The Meeting of the nation's representatives in the Vicarius, have you not remembered?"
"No no,I just could care less about thousands of squabbling representatives to hear a ten minute speech and then make the arduous journey back home."

Wabon
Isone Ranjil Qaddafi tapped impatiently on the glass as he watched from his television the Shogun President's residence. He felt anger that while the confederation seemed to be holding,
nothing was being done about the internal threats such as piracy that cut into his bottom wallet.
"That damned tired old fool, he needs to lose his head, and fast!"
Staring at the calendar, an idea sparked in his head.
He then realized there was an upcoming meeting at Vicarius, smiling from ear to ear, he got on a hologram, with a shady image of a man cloaked in all black appeared, with green goo oozing
from it's nose.
"BN-1100 here, What is it you want?"
"I deeply despise the lackluster attempts at our legislature to contain the spread of piracy, raids that cut into mine own pocket, and now I hear that a ruling on legalizing piracy is to be
called as a bill in the meeting?! This will ruin me financially, with every scum of the earth making my trade fleets rubble, forcing me to sacrifice more money into building defenses for
the fleet, only to have them be shot down, I want you to bomb a section in there called G-22, they are a group of cunning political bastards that thwart my every attempt at introducing the
legislation to the floor, once those are taken out, With their votes eliminated, the bill will be defeated!"
" Nice motive for blowing the fuck up out of several politician scumbags such as yourself, When's the meeting?"
"It takes place Tomorrow, now go, Here a Bakedaisti workers clothes you can put on, they honestly don't give a shit who they let in, just make sure these fuckers pay in blood!"
"Understood,they'll be dead by morning."
With a slow but steady nod of the head Qaddafi turned the hologram off, with the image of BN-1100 disappearing from his sights, he swiveled around in his chair with a curled up smile on his face.
"They'll dead By morning."

Jardent-Jadeini class yacht
Near Ranchu X and the Confederation Boarder

Hanjub Jafar felt as if he was sliding on glass as the ride gracefully continued to move throughout the galaxy, his ship a mere speck of dust to the naked eye,if squinting and having
perfect vision. There was nothing quite like moving from system to system trying to sell off the cargo of the day. Most of the Isone were confined to buying or selling Bakedaisti slaves and
the occasional foreigner for good measure. Jafar was different, he'd sell and buy Bakedaisti and other specie of slaves through a representative of the largest Slaving Company in the
Confederation: Naga-Jesnu Labor and Trade. That corporation essentially held a monopoly over the bigwigs in government and even had stuck it's nose in the Vicarius every once and a while.
While smirking on the company's recent successes in far fringed worlds, a light beep caught his perked up ears before the idiotic Bakedaisti could inform him,and he rushed over to the
command console and tapped lightly on the controls.
A map of the known galaxy appeared, with the Confederation highlighted purple and a light red dot signifying him.
"It appears I'm a skip away from Ranchu X,I could go there and convince the local mayor for a few million in his pocket to let go a hundred thousand so miners for three to four billion Bakedaisti."
With a happy thought appearing in his head, he snapped his fingers and the ship lit up before sparking forwards at light speed towards the system on the fringe.

Malveolent class frigate Salvati Normano
Confederation Boarder

Hattori Diplomat Asano Nampi merely tapped patiently on the glass as the vessel continued It's movement throughout the edge of the Confederation's boarders.
The door to the bridge opened as Captain Farris entered the commanding area, forcing many of those onboard to snap to attention for a breif moment before sitting back down in their chairs. A teste in officer's clothing saluted before approaching their commanding officer.
"Sir, we have detected an unidentified vessel off the Port Bow,Orders?"
"Can you idiots not conduct simple policy without me holding your hand constantly? Order them to heave to or we'll open fire,Prepare Prow Cannons for long range bombardment, single shot."
With a slight nod, a message was sent to the other ship:
YOU ARE IN CONFEDERATION TERRITORY,HEAVE TO OR WE WILL OPEN FIRE-REPEAT-YOU ARE IN CONFEDERATION TERRITORY,HEAVE TO OR WE WILL OPEN FIRE

With that confident and disconcerting message sent to the ship, They waited for a reply from the ship, as Captain Farris began to look back at his glory days, the ages with numerous
victories and so many defeats in the old wars of forgone eras, if he could go back in time, he would love to, and fix the mistakes of his past...

The crew whispered to each other softly as they did not expect someone to actually accept their request, but they were still happy for the acceptance.

"Director, what are you doing. What do we even have that will be of worth to them." The engineer said, looking mad at her decision.

"We have another plasma engine set yes?"

"No, you can't be serious."

"I am, get the comms channel back on. " She said as the crew then began working to get it on through the damage.

"Very good, our first request is this. You see, we have intel on a location that may prove vital to our research, but however the area is also full of pirates. We would go there ourselves but our guns are not enough. If you can bring us there, and bring us to a safe zone we will transport something we believe is important to you."

"Pirates? Easy cakes for our Star Seekers.", said Pernolian over the line. "Our Star Seekers are more than a match to puny pirate vessels. They will all burn in ash, just like the thieving fools they are."

Pernolian finished his rhetoric, and continued speaking, "Very well. Our fleet will escort you to that location, and eliminate all that stand in our way. Meanwhile, I will have some requests to our Lord."

Lord Pernolian then ordered a reopening of comms with Nasturcane once again, this time to the Grand Admiral, Katharu. Katharu was asleep.

"Admiral? Admiral?", Pernolian whispered over the line.

"Mhmmm, what?", the sleepy Admiral replied. "Get this over with, I have just an hour's worth of sleep."

"I'd request to sortie another Star Seeker vessel to better accomplish our mission with these strangers."

"Err, is that so? Ugh... whatever, get one. I want to sleep."

"Thank you Admiral."

"You're not welcome. For disturbing me."

Meanwhile, another Star Seeker shot out from Nasturcane's docks, and joined the ships that left prior. Its prismatic crystal glowed with blue flame, and its shields shimmered in golden light as the nearby star reflected on it. It was a mighty vessel indeed.

Pernolian once again went over to the line. "So, shall we begin?"

More importantly it allowed him to move on to subjects more beneficial to the Triarchy. He sent the message and waited for the response.

Triarchy expansion zone, near the Tedalonia star system

Khonsu Aahoclid was in thought as the expansion fleet continued its flight marking planets that would make for good hive locations first, and scouting for potential lesser races to subjugate. The fleet was equipped with one dreadnought, five cruisers and five frigates, ten patrol craft, and the usually complements of space wings. The commander was looking over his reports when he was interrupted, "Commander" one of the bridge officers called to him "We are picking up singles from a nearby system". He glanced over at the officer "What do you think it is", "A planet sir little outgoing singles being sent."

Khonsu smiled to himself a chance like this, he could make enough here to live out the rest of his life "Set course now" and with that the ships pushed into hyperspace several minutes later appearing in the system. The captain gave the order to his fleet "Men prepare to head in form up into the standard combat formations." Open up the communication channels on all frequencies." he yelled

He coughed and began to speak into the comm system "Primitives of this system, I am Commander Khonsu Aahocild of the Xoirraite Triarchy. I am here to secure one thing, your surrender. You will give it to me within the next thirty minutes or I will devastate your world. I do hope you choose wisely".

"Director, you can't really be going through with this." The engineer said as he followed her as she went to go check the damage. Stopping at sector 5, all anyone could see was wires hanging from the ceiling as probe droids were only allowed into the area due to the high radiation released by the plasma engine's explosion. As the probe droids entered the area for inspection, all that could be seen was green through the screens, before they came to the chamber of the engines.

"It's far worse than expected, this engine's completely destroyed." One of the crew said as he pulled up a screen. "Let me explain, you see here is the entrance to the chamber which is now just a big hole. And if we make our way into it." He said while moving the droid in. "We have a large hole that's only contained by our shields. If it goes down the ship might have no more hope. We can't fix it since the radiation is too high and our droids are just barely surviving through the ion field it made." He said, pointing to the large hole on the screen, which revealed the void of space. Suddenly, the ship shook slightly as a few more explosions could be heard.

On the outside, a few unknown small craft had entered the system as they released what looked like bombers. As they made their way through the defenses of the ship, energy bombs were released, although causing little harm owing to the shield generators. A few more explosions could be seen as some were shot down, although when one went down there was always 4 more that came. "Yeah, that's the main problem." Vivian said as she ran back to the bridge to send them a message, before triggering a response as the ship was hit, and would be repeated with every hit.

"Contemptuous bastards...", thought Pernolian as the bombers attacked the Institution ships. "You won't even last a second."

Pernolian turned towards the communications line, and gave the order for the Star Seekers to strike. The Star Seekers charged forward and opened up their prismatic beams, blasting the intruding ships with intense blue beams. The bombers would soon turn towards them, but the golden shields of the Star Seekers were more than a match. It did not take the Seekers to incinerate the enemy ships to little more than smoldering wrecks.

The bombers paid no attention to them as they continued their attack run against the institution ships. A few more transports could be seen falling as they were bombed out. A large capital ship, the size of an imperial star destroyer appeared as more bombers could be seen flooding out of the hangar as it's cannons still turned to the ships as they opened fire. The ships tried to return fire, although most stopped as their cannons were knocked out of service by fighters and bombers. Ion shots suddenly hit the hull as the ships were soon knocked out.

"Fire in sector 2, please evacuate." The cold voice said as the fire spread through the ship, almost making it to the bridge as the fire walls were deployed, stopping it. The system got to work as it sprayed chemicals to solve the problem. An explosion occurred once again as another engineer ran in with a report. "Director, this is bad! Another hole has been busted into the hull, we can't survive another attack."

"We need your help! Protect the flagship."

Menkara was happy that the commander hadn't asked any more questions, it allowed him to avoid difficult subjects. More importantly it allowed him to move on to subjects more beneficial to the Triarchy. He began to make his response to the Collectives offer of help, "There is something we can do discuss that would benefit both of our peoples, the Triarchs mining systems is very advanced. and building those fake worlds must take many resources, perhaps a trade could be arranged technology for materials".

Tedstantium Solar System, Tedstantia
Alister Tomli cursed. The Tedalonians have never been subjugated nor would they. He orders the Royal General to meet him. He drinks a cup of coffee. It was going to be a long 30 minutes.

A meeting was held to learn how to deal with the new threat. They discuss various ways to deal with it, but they couldn't come up with anything. They couldn't call on any allies, because they never had negotiated to people on that level. They couldn't fight them off, but they can put up a fight. Elric's father gives out an idea. They fight them back and let as many people as they can escape. This way the escapees can find refuge and return with a fleet perhaps.

The Tedalonians have their fleet of 15 ships and 3 orbital defense satellites. This was in no way a powerful defense fleet, since they were different types of various military ships they have bought. The Tedalonians release a message, "we will never give our home up freely! This is world is our history and blood, and you'll have to pry it from our hands." The fleet opens fire. For they knew that their people were being evacuated.

Elric was mad. He did not want to leave his father behind, but his father's trusted friend, James Byrnrelius, insisted that he must the rest of the people who were evacuating. When they got to space they saw the shooting. It was sad for he knew the men would die by attempting to let them escape.

Lord Pernolian watched as the bombers and fighters caused havoc in the convoy. A giant ship means only one thing. They need backup.

"These fools presume that a giant ship will be enough to stop us? Very well then, send a message to Nasturcane to deploy my personal flagahip to deal with these wretched pirates."

"Milord? You don't mean-"

"Fret not Praetor. The Eternal Light will be more than enough to deal with these wretched curs. Meanwhile

"Ah, as you command Milord."

Nasturcane
The Admiral was having his sleep when another message came in. Needless to say, he wasn't amused.

"Gods of The Pantheon damn you, Pernolian? What the hell do you want?!"

"I merely wish to inform you that I will be taking the Eternal Light for now."

"Ugh, go to hell. Do what you want."

"Thank you again."

"Idiot."

Institution Convoy

The Star Cruiser soon entered the fray, intercepting many bombers and fighters with its defensive laser batteries, while the Star Seekers began taking potshots at the enemy capital ship, before warp signatures began to scream into everyone's sensors...

Here it came! Another large capital ship, one of the Star Crusader Battlecarriers, warped in, and struck against the enemy capital ship. It trained its prismatic beams and kinetic MAC guns towards the enemy ship, all the while with the Star Seekers forcing enormous heat on the enemy ship.

Heaven's Gate Frontier Station, Edge of Imperium Space, Unknown System

If there was any place aboard Heaven's Gate that was always going to be packed, regardless of the time, it would have to be the station's Landing and Arrivals/Departure bay. Akin to a spaceport or airport planetside, albeit with spacecraft taking off and leaving much more frequently, the bay was almost filled with visitors either coming into Heaven's Gate, or being shipped off out to known space in a commercial passenger liner or their own personal spacecraft. The female A.I. intercom announcer made an announcement in a pleasant but monotonous every couple of minutes, ranging from "Star Cruiser Spacelines - Flight C11 - Arriving at Gate C - Level 2," to announcements for individuals owning ships such as, "Dr. Anthony Morningstar, your ship is awaiting at Departures Gate A, Level 4. Have a nice day."

Normally it would've been hard to hear announcements of this volume thanks to the immense amounts of individuals chattering in the landing and arrivals bay, yet almost always Zasha had found herself being able to hear the announcements; Gate, Level, and name, all included. Nothing out of the ordinary (aside from the select few incredibly rich folk with huge space yachts), until...

"Imperium Detention Ship AC12 - Arriving at Gate A - Level 1, Landing Pad A1-33."

So when the arrival announcement came in for a prison ship of all kinds, she was especially interested in what it had to offer. A detention ship coming to Heaven's Gate, of all places? She knew that even Heaven's Bay had its own detention cells - for some individuals, for example, who had done a lot more than a petty infraction like Zasha's skinny dipping in the pool - but why would Heaven's Gate be receiving these prisoners out of any other regular prison station?

Zasha had been in the arrivals bay for only a couple of minutes, just beginning her trek into the crowded room, when she had noticed the strange ship pass through one of the landing bay's large forcefield hangars just as the announcement went out. The ship automatically hovered into position above one of the landing pads as the magnetic locks took care of everything else by reorienting the ship towards the hangar forcefield, but it wasn't the prison ship's appearance itself that was coming off as odd to her.

Rather, it the events going on inside the ship that caught her attention. Zasha tilted her head slightly to the side and squinted her eyes as she noticed one individual jump off the ship, trying her best to nonchalantly walk off the landing pad and away from the chaos going inside of the ship that was requiring the increased presence of more guards. As for appearances, it wasn't anything special; she slim, young - very young, in fact, and wore a simple leather jacket and T-shirt but notably had striking blue hair - just like her own.

..Or was it brown? Zasha couldn't tell from the distance, but felt the urge to get a closer look regardless. Both Zasha and this new girl didn't even know a single thing about one another, but there was just a feeling in the Hydran that she felt upon taking a look at this girl, something that seemed to suggest that she was in need of work, or otherwise just looking to not be seen. If that was true, then Zasha would hopefully be obtaining a new member of her team, very soon.

Only one way to find out, Zasha thought to herself as she waded through the throng of people by the landing pad, all minding their own business. The girl she had saw earlier was small - so small, in fact, that she was able to almost instantly blend her way into the huge crowd as she stepped into it, so much so that Zasha had lost visual on her just as she did this. The massive group of people in their way seemed to all be heading over to one location - being the large passenger liner that had just docked under the name of "John Seaman". This allowed her to maneuver through the crowd much more easily thanks to the decreased volume, but alternatively allowed her to see that her girl in question was right in front of her, all this time.

The two quite literally bumped into one another as the crowd cleared, with Zasha awkwardly stepping back from the much smaller girl as she looked down at her. Rather than apologize right away like a more polite person would have done, Zasha instead extended her hand to her (hopeful) new accomplice, introducing herself as Zasha Farslider as she placed her free hand on her hip. "You look lost, like someone who's in need of work. Luckily," she paused briefly, as the call for her ship would be coming in momentarily. "That's where you have me.."

The all-too familiar jingle played out over the intercom as the female A.I. announcer's voice came online. "Zasha Farslider, your ship is awaiting at Departures Gate B, Level 3, Landing Pad 3B-1. Have a nice day."

After she finished introducing herself, she kept her hand out extended towards the one she would soon come to know as Myra. Hopefully, she'd take it.

New Coneres
Capital of the Union of Stars
Magolyn Seth, Grand Minister

On the planet of New Coneres, the city of Numars, the urban landscape was teeming with life. Hover vehicles buzzed through the air, the buildings were covered in neon lights, and a large variety of different species conversed, traded, and worked in relative peace. The city had grown greatly in the past several centuries despite the severe devastation it suffered during the Directorate Wars. As a planet of 30 billion and subsequently the capital of all the Union, it had gained numerous off-world immigrants both from human planets and alien planets, many of which were refugees from the genocides of the Directorate. They had grown the planetary economy, education and prestige by a wide margin.

Magolyn reminisced as she peered through the window, watching the vehicles buzz by. There was work to be done today. A knock was heard at her door. It was her escorts. She opened it, with four armed Zongs standing in unison, armed and armored down to the teeth, with the strict job to guard the Grand Minister herself.

"Greetings, Grand Minister," the largely built man spoke, in a deep and strong voice. This one was the captain of the Grand Minister's bodyguard. Though they may have seemed imposing, they kept a firm but soft hand when speaking to the leader of the Union.

Magolyn smiled. "Shall we proceed?"

Today's business concerned the Monayen Federation, a group of several dozen independent human systems on the 'northern' borders of the Union. For a long time they were considered irrelevant to Union interests and were allowed to retain their independence for some time. However, they had come to the Union's attention when they had begun persecuting and slaughtering alien locals there, many of which were member species of the Union of Stars. The Union sent several demands ordering they cease their operations, but were ignored. Several more were sent to no avail. Eventually, the gloves were off. Warfleet 034 was sent to the Federation to topple the government and was relatively easy to complete with few losses on the Warfleet's side. The aliens were sent to refugee camps in other planets in the Union. Now the Federation was under military occupation, and the question of what to do with them would be answered today.

Magolyn Seth decided the best course of action was to annex the Federation. It was a long time coming, anyways. She would speak to the Union Senate today.

She and her bodyguards walked through the hallways and staircases of the large governmental facility, heading to the Senate Capitol. They passed offices, hubs, meeting areas and more. Several hours later, they finally arrived at the Senate Capitol. Magolyn stood at the top podium, watched by thousands of Senate officials, representatives, ambassadors and governors. Though this was the first topic of session, it would not be the last.

"Greetings, fellow Senate members. Today's first topic will concern the Monayen Federation, which I'm sure many of you would have heard about now. But for those who have not heard of this yet, I will recite the topic." She went on to describe the situation and background of the topic, and then continued on with the actual statement.

"For many years we let the Monayen Federation stay an independent collection of systems, allowed them to be about on their own business. But when we heard that they had begun the persecution of fellow sapient beings, we had to act." She coughed.

"We had allowed the Directorate to continue with their operations against sapients, as we had not the power or resources to stop the needless deaths ourselves. But we grew larger and stronger. And now we can truly act against the primitive barbarism of the genocide of sapients."

"We deployed Warfleet 034 because we had to. We had sent cease and desists to their government several times within the past few months and they had not responded. We took that as a refusal. We allowed to play the diplomatic route and it had failed. We knew then were was only one option."

"The Monayens had been growing their relations with the Directorate either way. They posed a threat to several of our northern systems. Continued Directorate influence over our nearby space would not be tolerated."

"I have, along with agreement with my cabinet members, signed Union Order 6082919." She began to read out the document, describing the process of the annexation of the Monayen Federation, the integration of its planets and the trial of its government.

"This is a statement to the xenophobic mindset of many sapients across this galaxy. Hatred of other species other than your own will not be tolerated in any way shape or form. We will put our foot down on these events strongly but fairly. That is all for this topic." The senate applauded in appreciation.

"Now we continue with our next topic of discussion, concerning the economic status of the Ikerine Sector..."

Border of the Unknown Regions
System 4;719

Thankfully, it looked as if these strangers - the Qali'šitahi à Thakurewecheteko, as they called themselves - weren't immediately intent on exterminating the Initiative's fleet, even as all the other ships arrived and the group grew to its full strength of thirty-nine. Whoever they were, though, they claimed to be "aeons old", and this system was apparently close to their territory. Murmurs echoed through fleet comms as captains and officers debated whether this enigmatic civilization was actually telling the truth. For all they knew, it could have just been a band of pirates, though the advanced nature of the incoming ship seemed to indicate the contrary.

In any case, it was probably for the best to be honest; the new arrivals hoped the Initiative didn't have hostile intentions, so confirming this would likely placate them to some degree.

"Our intentions are peaceful here, yes. We discovered a roughly fifty-kilometer-long wreck embedded in one of the asteroids near this system's main star, and we're working on scavenging as much useful material as we can. Given that there's quite a lot of work to do, and that our industrial ships can only hold and process so much metal at once, we expect to be here for the next few weeks. Initial scans indicated that the wreck was here for at least several years, so we figured that since nobody else got to it, we might as well take the opportunity to dig through it for anything valuable.

Once we're done, we'll be on our way. It might help to know your territory's extent, so that we don't get too close in the future."

Meanwhile, progress continued on the salvage. Because of the sheer size of the wreck, the salvaging teams had to use a somewhat unique strategy in dealing with the sheer volume of metal to sort through for useful minerals. Mining ships stripped out one chunk of a bulkhead or armor plate at a time, attaching to them and maneuvering them to positions near the pair of industrial ships. The two capital-ship-sized vessels then began processing one piece after another, extracting the more unique components like electrical wiring and computer parts, and then compacting the remainder into gigantic blocks that the Initiative's freighter then towed into its cargo bays. Once those were full, the freighter would store the remainder on external racks - these were not exactly the safest or most efficient places to hold blocks of metal, but they needed to carry everything with them given that there were no planets or megastructures to drop off resources on.

"Excellent, she responded, sending the coordinates of the border systems to the flagship, "You shall be listed as benign in our databases for the time being. I have sent your flagship the locations of our outermost systems. As a reward for this excellent coöperation, I shall give you a verbal gift, so to speak. I will say this once, and only once, so, if you value information, take note. The areas very near our borders are rich in crashed spacecraft, ripe for the picking. We haven't a need to clean them up, after all. But, be warned. Should you stray to close to our borders, you shall number among the wreckage. So use caution; be sure the border guards are aware that you wish no harm. That is all. Goodbye."

With that, communications were immediately cut off, and the ship disappeared from sight and all radar as if by magic, but not before it appeared to discharge a small object, which soon cloaked and likewise disappeared from all vision. The cruiser had indeed departed and returned back to Homeworld to deliver the report, but the small object remained, hidden from all vision and scans. It was a probe. Its purpose was to monitor the site to ensure there were no shenanigans.

Alpha O1-7 General Ulysses
Battlefleet Tempest
Deep Space
The Old Guard: Remnant of The Dynasty

He had remembered the day that the Dynasty shattered, the infamous Great War that saw the decline of the Old Guard, their obscurity into darkness and paving the way towards the rise of new interstellar empires. General Ulysses' metallic frame shuddered at the fact that an empire such as the Old Masaki Dynasty would simply fall like the sun only to be replaced by their long forgotten entity: the United Systems of Andropov. Perhaps it was destiny? the aged Masaki Guardian pondered to himself as he sat silently on the Admiralty Throne aboard his new starship: the Intrepid Conqueror, it was a 3 Kilometer Capital Ship that was equipped with weaponry to rival a dreadnought. While Ulysses had emerged a changed person from the Great War, his love for heavy weaponry remained strong within him, and while he was forced to downsize his starship size he had managed to upgrade the Intrepid Conquer into a Capital Ship with heavy weaponry.

In his pondering, Ulysses had lost track of his mission: nearly six weeks ago scanners had detected the spontaneous appearance of two new star systems that were in a place that they didn't belong, nor did they even have any reason to be there in the first place, this coupled with the whispers of the remnants of the United Systems being utterly destroyed by an unidentified force merited immediate investigation, and O7, having secured a leadership position within Alpha Squadron after the disappearance of Grand Marshal Maelstrom volunteered the services of his fleet to lead the incursion on these two newly formed systems.

"General Ulysses sir." The mechanical voice of a Dynasty Intel Officer said softly to the pondering Alpha Member, who shook out of his subconscious looking towards his subordinate "We are approaching the target systems." Voicelessly rising his head, Ulysses started peering out into the realm of hyperspace with a neutral gaze. What lied at the end of his journey? What force was he about to have the fortune to interact with? And more importantly, was this the force responsible for the utter destruction of the United Systems? "Sir?" The Intelligence Officer inquired curiously.

Without a gesture or his voice being heard, Ulysses used the Admiralty Throne to issue a system-wide command to Battlefleet Tempest "Cease Hyperspace movement and prepare drone deployment for observation." While his Battlefleet was not necessarily slave circuited to the Admiralty Throne, he could use it to issue instantaneous command to the rest of his fleet with relative ease and even without issuing a verbal command. At his inquiry, the rest of Battlefleet Tempest obliged the command of their superior officer, the fleet of seventy five starships grinding to a halt in the middle of stark nowhere, with nothing but the blackness of space and the shining of the hundreds of stars only serving as the light that illuminated the minuscule fleet. "Stand by for scout deployment." Ulysses' voice demanded simply, his eyes still staring out into the darkness of space with an unreadable expression on his face: ready for anything.

Collective HomeStar 1

Not even an hour after their first two contact had left them, were they greeted by another group. The first two went off without a hitch, but this one seemed a bit different. "Over six dozen ships have just warped in." Came the voice of one of Shovan' s assistants. Seventy five ships was a considerable number. He would be slightly concerned were it not for the thousands of ships he was prepared to deploy. "Commander Jackson. I will attempt communications with these new arrivals, but in the event that they are hostile, please be ready to have the Dreadnoughts intercede. I'd rather not have this be a violent encounter, but if we must defend ourselves, so be it." Shovan ordered and as he commanded, the ships got into a defensive position, and the warp barriers were ready to deploy.

Shiva turned his attention to the fleet and sent out their standard first contact package. "Greetings. I am Prime Commander Shovan of the Collective. I mean you, nor anyone else, any harm. We are not native to this galaxy, only having just arrived a mere 1000 hours ago. If you have any concerns about our business here, I can assure you that we are not malicious and will never have any malicious intent for this galaxy nor it's inhabitants." A mouthful that was for certain. But with so many people arriving to meet them, he hoped that most of them would continue to be peaceful.

Alpha O1-7 General Ulysses

If it had not been for General Ulysses' newfound composure, he would have prepared defense countermeasures against such a massive fleet that lied before his eyes. The thousands of Collective Starships that could be seen reminded the aged General of his days serving the Old Masaki Dynasty: leading massive fleets against their enemies in an effort to secure power in the Galaxy, and even though those days were essentially at an end, the sight of so many starships made Ulysses nostalgic. Easing himself out of his nostalgia could he easily see that the atmosphere aboard his starship became so tense it was as if every other Masaki Guardian could no longer move, all except the General himself, who rose slowly up from his throne, walking towards the end of the bridge without uttering a word "Are these the outsiders that we've heard of?" Ulysses pondered quietly, his eyes glued upon the massive starfleet as his eyes glowed bright blue in sheer fascination.

To what would appear as an answer, the Collective had confirmed that they were indeed not native to the Aquila Galaxy yet they did not wish anyone harm. This perplexed the member of Alpha Squadron, who continued to stare voicelessly at the opposing fleet "No, this can't be them. The reports indicated that whatever attacked the United Systems was surprisingly thorough in their tactics, leaving almost no witnesses." While he remained relatively steadfast in this decision, perhaps... just perhaps this group would have the answers he sought to ask the actual outsiders.

"Sir, we await your orders." The Intelligence Officer remarked, his voice allowing Ulysses' to emerge from his awe and be brought back to reality once more. Turning towards the Intelligence Officer, Ulysses made his way back to the Admiralty Throne and sitting upon it "All ships are reporting in with 100% Offensive and Defensive Capabilities, we await your order General." Instead of outright ignoring the Intelligence Officer, the General turned towards him.

"Who said we were going to fight them?" Ulysses balked "They may have identified themselves as outsiders to this Galaxy, but they did not outright attack us as soon as we arrived... These aren't the outsiders who we are looking for." O7 assured as he turned his head out back towards the massive starfleet "But who is to say that this group has not encountered those whom we seek? I see not an enemy who would wish to wage war with us, but an asset that could be used in our hunt for the ones responsible for completely annihilating what remained of the United Systems." Ulysses' metallic fingers began to click on multiple buttons installed on his throne "A potential ally that we could call upon..." The Aged General rose out of his throne once more, wiping some particles of dust off of his chassis and slightly straightening his cloak out "Initiate Holographic Transmission." Ulysses ordered, his hands clasped behind his back as he spoke.

"Greetings, Prime Commander Shovan. My designation is Alpha O1-7 in service of the Dynasty Remnant, however my core name is known as General Ulysses, Head of Military Operations and the appointed commander of Battlefleet Tempest. We have arrived here in order to ascertain the existence of two recently formed star systems that appeared six weeks ago contained any form of life as well as anything that could prove potentially dangerous to the survival of this Galaxy. However our secondary mission was to locate a group of outsiders responsible for the destruction of the United Systems of Andropov nearly fifty years ago. As I have ascertained that you are not responsible for the destruction of this star empire, I request a face-to-face data interaction take place between myself and you. I await your response."

The star destroyer paid no heed as they continued firing at the convoy, causing some ships to blow up as they were knocked out of space. More and more bombers turned their attention the the attacking ships as they fire ion torpedoes, while the second wave following up with proton torpedoes. The fighters also began their attack run as they started strafing the ships. Some pods could be seen being fired onto the ships. As they penetrated the hull, the attackers soon boarded the ship.

"Sector 3 compromised, Sector 3 compromised." The cold metallic voice said as the security personnel quickly rushed about, setting up defensive positions as the smoke eventually cleared. Soon, there was a large fire fight of bolts flying about. Although the institute had taken down some of the attackers, one would be replaced with 5 always. As the defensive line was broken and they charged into the bridge, one last message was sent before transmission were cut off as the director was held hostage.

"They've broken through, we need more help!"

Higher Japan wrote:The star destroyer paid no heed as they continued firing at the convoy, causing some ships to blow up as they were knocked out of space.

"I had enough!", Pernolian screamed at the comms relay. "Activate the rift ray! Cut that bastard in half!"

"But milord, it will deprive the Eternal Light of the energy needed to war-"

"Do as I command! I am not willing to allow any more of our guests to be destroyed!"

"As... you command, Milord."

At the same moment, the battlecarrier's rift cannon began to glow a malevolent red light. The Star Seekers withdrew in order to avoid being hit by the ray, and a few moments later, a red beam shot out of the rift cannon, ripping open a tear in the fabric of space time. The tear glared at the star destroyer for one second before violently closing, slicing the ship in half, leaving only the starboard side in realspace.

Meanwhile, the Star Cruiser went towards the flagship and grappled at the port side, before disgorging a force of arcane constructs that began tearing the enemy pirates to shreds.
