In 1998, he became Vice President under Festus Mogae, who won again in the 2003 election. He ran on the Democratic Party ticket in 2008 and 2013, winning both terms. Despite its already vast wealth and success even before him, he has continued to make great strides for equality in Rhodesia, as well as investing heavily into iinfrastructure and building major cities, so as to attract investors and invite people to immigrate to the country. As of January 1, 2017 Rhodesia has a GDP of $1,133,000,000,000. It has the highest HDI and most advanced technology of Africa. It is a fierce military prowess, having rivals to the south, South Africa, and the north in Congo and Tanzania.
