Just have them do what they normally do and than have them go to a new star system. Maybe that system would belong to someone else or it is new but they would meet another nation?

Currently, I'm working on a different reboot that I'm not sure will continue much longer. I'm going to wait another week or so. If it either keeps going, but isn't going to fast, or dies, then I'll try to reboot this. Otherwise, I'm probably going to wait, so I won't overextend myself.
