I guess you could have one, but it'd still be much less effective than energy weapons so it's pretty impractical (the most it'd likely do is draw attention to your character every time he fires it).

Enhanced Strength, agility, damage resistance - See "Praetor suit"
Never ending Rage - The man, through out his endless years of rampage and death, always carries an abundance of Rage fueled Stamina.
Weaknesses:
Silent - Has not spoken a word in a few thousand years. As a result, his communication skills are null.
Eternal Rage - Despite what emotions he might be showing, he is always pissed off at a magnitude un-measurable by current science. This leads to problems when working with others.
Imbued With the aura of Hell - Due to his millennia long rampage through the nether world, he is permeated with the power of Hell, meaning any psychic characters will sense him as a walking epitaph of malice and evil, despite being the exact opposite
Personality:
He is the Hell walker, the Doom Slayer, and one does not get this way by tickling puppies and drinking apple juice, oh no, he is much, much different. While he does retain a sense of right and wrong, and will even go out of his way to avoid harm to innocents, He views Most Demons and similar Evil aligned enemies not as opponents, but as scum needing to be wiped from the multiple plains of existences he has inhabited over the years.
Noteworthy Equipment:
The Praetor Suit - Arguably one of the best suits of power armor to be crafted over the Omniverce (Because I know my multi-universal vocabulary) The Praetor suit's origins are a mystery to all but the Hell walker, who has never disclosed its origin to anyone currently alive. The suit it self was empowered by the being only known as "The Wretch", giving it vastly increased Damage resistance, as well as the ability to absorb demonic/evil energies from those he has killed. IT also gives the wearer vastly increased Health, Agility, and strength, with the Doom Slayer him self being able to literally RIP and TEAR his enemies with his bare hands.

Combat Shotgun - The DS-117 Combat Shotgun is a medium to close range weapon commonly used by Marines for security and boarding actions. Firing large, 6 gauge shotshells and having an impressive internal magazine allowing for 9+1 shell capacity, and a classic pump action, the weapon, in the right hands, is an impressive tool of close range destruction.

Mark V EMG Side Arm - A stylized and modified version of the standard UAC EMG side arm, this pistol fires bolts of energy. While considerably weak in its own right (being equal to a .45 pistol) It makes up for it with two abilities: The capability to fire a charged up shot roughly on par with a vary, vary close range shot of a standard UAC Gauss rifle, and that the weapon has near limitless ammo due to an internal kinetic battery system, meaning that every movement the user takes while holding the weapon, including recoil from firing, recharges its battery.

His fists - As stated before, the vastly enhanced strength and durability that the Suit gives the Hell walker, he is legendarily lethal with his bare hands, being able to rip apart much, much larger enemies (Hell-knights/barons of hell) as well as armored enemies (Cyberdemons) in to little pieces with them.

Backstory (minimum of one paragraph): NOTE - due to the circumstances around the Hell walker's origin and history, and I'm ripping this from the Doom Wiki's Page.
"the Doom Marine is described as an ancient and mystical time traveling warrior called the DOOM Marine, or "Doom Slayer" or "Hell Walker" who was either banished to Hell or chose to stay there. The Doom Marine proceeded to rampage his way across Hell for "eons" as an unstoppable force of death and destruction, becoming an icon of fear to all demons.
His one-man war was only ended after he was lured into a trap, allowing the forces of Hell to collapse one of their temples on top of him. Entombed inside a stone sarcophagus, he was sealed away in the Kadingir Sanctum, hopefully forever. Unfortunately for the demons, the Doom Marine's sarcophagus was eventually retrieved by the UAC and brought back to Mars. However, the Doom Marine himself remained dormant and unresponsive throughout the UAC's study of him. A few weeks later, his sarcophagus and armor were covertly moved by Samuel Hayden, who wanted a safeguard against demonic invasion.

Sure enough, after Hell commences its invasion of Mars, the Doom Marine awakens as bloody-minded as ever. He then arms himself with a pistol, reclaims his Praetor Suit and begins to fight the hordes of hell once more.

(Cue the ensuing rampage of blood, glory, murder-death-kill, and RIP and TEAR that is Doom 2016's campaign.)

Char!Torii and Soviet Torii are armed with AK-74M's and Makarov sidearms. Katya is armed with a rapier and Makarov Sidearm. Iko has lasers (or glassing beams, essentially), and Corporal Wellington has a Lee-Enfield Mk.III Carbine and bayonet.

I believe the IMC and AEGIS both still have some combat ready NPCs stationed on the Hub (though you'd have to ask Dem and Monte to be sure).

I'd be alright with the Mandalorians, but I'm not sure about the lightsaber wielding part (they already have a pretty impressive array of armaments, and they generally don't seem to like, or risk using, lightsabers). Depending on the era they're from, it might be alright if one of them used the Darksaber though.

I don't really see how a silent character could work well in this RP, and given previous experience, I wouldn't be comfortable giving you a higher tier character until you've demonstrated that you now have sufficient time to read and respond to other RPers' posts. If you want to return, you may use one of your other characters, but if we end up in a situation again where you aren't reading what others are writing than I will have to remove you from the RP.

Character Name: Yuriko Omega; although her real name is Yuriko Matsui which was being kept secret by her.

Gender: Female

Appearance (an image or suitable description shall suffice): Image

Species: Human

Age: 18

Universe of origin: Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3 (including Red Alert 3: Uprising)

Alignment: Neutral Evil although her alignment would turn to Chaotic Evil once she is really angry.

Abilities:

  • Telekinesis: Yuriko can use the power of her mind to lift objects into the air, from the smallest thing, to people, to vehicles. She's also capable of hurling this objects violently, although this takes considerably more energy from her than just lifting them. Her preferred method of attack is to lift her victims into the air where they can't fight back and slowly crush them, or even cause them to combust with significant effort.
  • Shield: When in danger, Yuriko can summon a dome shaped shield around her that blocks any attacks, objects or projectiles that try to pass through. In the case of projectiles, it will even deflect them back at her enemies. The shield will move with her, but it won't last very long, just 15-45 seconds - long enough to make an escape?
  • Mental Domination: Yuriko is capable of making weak-minded people loyal to her. She's made squads of soldiers fight for her. Her thralls will retain their former personalities, but will feel friendly or even fiercely loyal towards her. Although this power may not work on those with strong mental resistance and Yuriko can only exhibit a certain amount of control at any one time. After the events of Red Alert 3: Uprising, she can only use this to only one person due to her extent of energy being used to fight her twin sister. She will now exhaust herself at this point.
  • Psionic Blast: When she's in a dire situation and surrounded by hostiles, Yuriko can exhibit a powerful, spherical blast of energy that bursts forth from her and pushes back all humans and lighter objects violently. Those that are too close to this blast can be killed by the impact or be injured by the knock back effect. Most vehicles and buildings can withstand the blast with little to no damage. This particular power uses a lot of Yuriko's energy and she can't use it very often. When she does, she'll probably feel pretty exhausted after.
  • Practical Minded: As mentioned in the personality section, Yuriko's ability to continue thinking clearly even in the most destructive and violent situations is a strength to her as it means she won't break down or hesitate to act when the situation calls for it in most cases.


Weaknesses:

  • Not Being a Giant Robot: Yuriko is a regular, fleshy human. Apart from the psychic powers, that is. But if she doesn't manage to protect herself with those, she can be injured and killed just like anyone else. She's especially vulnerable to attack if she's surrounded by enemies.
  • Limits on Psychic Power: Yuriko will exhaust herself if she uses her more powerful abilities too often, such as the psionic blast and mental domination. The rest of her powers can't be used repeatedly or she'll pass out from the stress. She needs to rest in-between powers.
  • Unstable/Destructive Nature: Yuriko has problems controlling her temper and will not hesitate to attack and take revenge on anyone who attacks her, or seems to be attacking her. Once she gets into "fighting mode", she will find it very difficult to relent. She lacks the ability to be diplomatic due to her habit of solving things with force. Often, when angry, her temper tantrums will result in her destroying things around her. While this could be considered a strength in terms of pure power, it's a big problem when trying to get along with others or deal with a situation discreetly.
  • Loneliness: Yuriko's loneliness is an emotional weakness for her as it is one of the causes of her depression and something that she's had to live with ever since her childhood when she discovered her mysterious powers and the murder of her parents by the "communists" who were later discovered that the Kempeitai was responsible. Her lack of experience with other people can make her a social outcast and have trouble developing relationships with others, and it can also cause her to be taken in and be somewhat gullible.


Personality: Yuriko was taken away from her hometown at an early age and to a lab to hone her destructive techniques for weapons research. As a result of her imprisonment she has become dehumanised and hateful, as well as almost completely disconnected from her society and other people.

Although there were others being kept at the same facility as her, Yuriko seems to have had little contact with them and hasn't developed the social skills that might otherwise be present in most other human beings. The apparent death of most of the other subjects no doubt contributed to her becoming incapable of proper emotion. She has difficulty showing or understanding feelings such as love and compassion for others and isn't good at empathising with other people, although she does have sympathy on occasion, such as for those who are held prisoner just like her.

Yuriko is vengeful and destructive. She will never hesitate to seek revenge on people who have wronged her or those she cares about, even when it could get in the way of more important things she should be doing. She won't hesitate to destroy her environment in her anger or lust for revenge. Despite how destructive and prone to rage she is, Yuriko can keep a relatively clear head in the most dire of situations, never pausing to panic or stopping for a moment even if she's hit a setback. It takes some time for her to lose her patience or give up. She is also a quick thinker and very practical, not letting even moral concerns get in her way. Yuriko is very confident about her powers, even arrogant. She shows utter disdain for those who are weaker than her, namely her enemies when they're trying and failing to fight her off. She doesn't hesitate to show them just how weak they are, either - she enjoys showing off and using her power to destroy her foes.

Due to never really having a chance to develop properly as an adult, Yuriko's personality shows some remnants of her personality traits from when she was a child. The loneliness she felt in childhood when she was in school still remains with her in her present life, due to the scientists who experimented with her powers having never really been interested in remedying the problem. Other traits also remain, such as Yuriko possessing items adorned with pink hearts in a childlike manner. Other remainders of her childlike personality have become twisted over the years, such as her enjoying torturing and killing others on occasion - referring to it as if it were playtime. Despite possessing an adult vocabulary, Yuriko might occasionally speak as if she were a child, announcing that she's going to her room for example.

All in all, Yuriko can seem to others to be devoid of any actual redeemable personality. This may be true, however, despite her psychotic nature and blood lust on the battlefield, Yuriko isn't entirely bad, or even evil. With the right direction, Yuriko has the potential to develop and become her own person.

Noteworthy Equipment: A wrist-bracelet (hologram)

Backstory (minimum of one paragraph):

Red Alert 3
Yuriko's real name was Yuriko Matsui, and she was born in the coastal town of Tanabe, Wakayama. She exhibited psionic potential ever since her childhood (such as once psycho-kinetically lifting a cat at home) and was shunned by her peers because of it. Her abilities made her the ideal candidate for the Empire's psionic research programs, therefore, she and her "sister", Izumi, were taken away to the Shiro Sanitarium by Dr. Shinji Shimada so he could exploit her psionic talent in the Omega Program, hence her military codename "Omega". She was dehumanized by the traumatic training process - to quote Brenda Snow, News3 Anchorwoman, "she was never the same again".

Before the War of the Three Powers began, Yuriko was imprisoned in the Shiro Sanitarium, kept in a straightjacket and without her levitating power. She was telepathically awakened in her cell by Izumi, who somehow managed to unlock her cell. Yuriko left her cell, and began accessing computer terminals throughout the facility, learning about her psionic talents (which the scientists there tried to suppress).

Using her newfound powers, she managed to defeat the Imperial forces guarding the facility and reach the exit of the sanitarium. Unfortunately, just as she was about to escape, a team of Rocket Angels disabled her with their Paralysis whips, and she was overwhelmed by Imperial Warriors. She was returned to her cell, and the Imperial scientists continued their experiments on her, eventually creating a small army of Yuriko clones with similar, albeit weaker, versions of her abilities.

After her attempted escape, which caused billions of yen worth of collateral damage, the Imperial Shogunate considered the Omega Program successful due to the destructive powers she demonstrated. As a result, Yuriko was given the codename "Omega" and a psychic dampener that controlled her temper. Yuriko and her clones were deployed in many battles during the War of the Three Powers, and were nearly unstoppable on the battlefield.

The Allies first learned of the existence of "Yuriko Omega" when an elite school of Allied dolphins patrolling off the coast of Kyushu discovered her. Only one returned, visibly shaken, with a smattering of reportedly "unwatchable" recorded evidence of this woman's destructive power. It was estimated that Yuriko has the combat potential of an entire military company, there was even an incident during which Yuriko (or possibly one of her clones) wiped out an entire Allied military company sent to probe her abilities, including, but not limited to: ten peacekeepers, six javelin soldiers, four guardian tanks, three cryocopters, two assault destroyers, and an aircraft carrier.

At first, Allied analysts believed that Yuriko was a unique individual in the Imperial military, rather than a member of a group. And reports that there existed carbon-copied "clones" of her were simply dismissed. However, this was proven false, as recon images of the Imperial Ultimate Weapon, the Psionic Decimator, shows that the pods around the weapon, apparently its source of psionic power, each contain what appears to be a clone of Yuriko.

During the Allies' final assault on Tokyo Harbour, the Allied Commander and Lissette Hanley encountered a Yuriko clone. She proved to be a dangerous foe, but was ultimately killed during battle. The real Yuriko was found underneath the rubble of the Imperial Palace, and was taken into Allied custody.

Red Alert 3: Uprising
Apprehended and sentenced to cryo-containment in an Allied detention facility, Detention Camp Dakota, Yuriko was telepathically awoken once again by Izumi after months of imprisonment. Izumi tells her that Doctor Shimada was responsible for all her suffering, and that he must pay for his crimes. Enraged, Yuriko broke free from her cryo-containment, setting all other prisoners in the detention facility free, and made her way out to sea in order to escape back to the Empire, destroying two Allied carrier strike groups sent to intercept her in the process.

In the end, Yuriko returned to the re-constructed Shiro Sanitarium, the very place that created her, to find and kill Shimada and free Izumi. Imperial forces had anticipated her return, and heavily fortified the entire facility, even setting up Psionic inhibitors specifically designed to nullify her abilities at key checkpoints. However, Yuriko destroyed everything the security forces threw at her, and discovered Izumi trapped within a Nanoswarm barrier.

In a last ditch attempt to stop Yuriko, Shimada attempted to reason with her, telling her that both her and Izumi crave power, and that he was the only one who could protect her. However, Yuriko simply ignored him and destroyed the final defenders of the facility: two Giga-Fortresses. Shimada's death followed soon after, and Izumi was freed from imprisonment.

All was not as it seems, though, as Izumi, jealous of Yuriko's powers, turned on her sister, resulting in an all-out psionic battle between the two sisters. In the end, Yuriko killed Izumi and her Shinobis after a fierce battle, and the Shiro Psychic Research was destroyed once again.

[b]Aftermath


After the death of her sister and the destruction of the Shiro Sanitarium, Yuriko escapes to the surface and silently gazes at the nighttime landscape of Tokyo. There's only one question left unanswered in her powerful mind: "What do I do now?", she said after she escaped from the Imperial forces (Allied-puppet). As Japan's transformation to democracy is in progress, Yuriko wants to leave Japan and find a place where it's composed of tranquility and serenity.

The headless horseman could be interesting. It would bring a 19th century kind of feel to the RP.

Though I think somebody also needs to bring in a superhero type. More than Golbatman. Someone who can fly and blast lasers out of their eyes.

For a while there I was contemplating making a faction that would be a clan of ninjas. But things are going busy and I didn't think I would be able to do them justice.

Prince Arcann in post-battle Korriban, after the Sith armies led by Darth Atroxa were crushed defeat by the Eternal Empire.

Age: Unknown but he looks like at his early 20's.

- Highly skilled duelist: being able to defeat both Sith Lords and Jedi Knights.

- Naturally strong Force user: His father is Valkorion who is formerly known as Vitiate; a powerful Sith Emperor, Valkorion's traits runs through Arcann's veins

- Leadership: Arcann is good at leadership which makes him a good strategic general and a ruthless military commander, with his ruthlessness, the Zakuulans followed him to battle no matter what.

Weaknesses: When he gets hit pretty badly or got overwhelmed by a powerful force-sensitive user, that's his only known weakness.

Personality: Arcann was a calculating, shrewd, patient and ruthless young man. Arcann deeply desired love and acknowledgment from his father, Valkorion, but his father's lack of interest in his children caused Arcann to develop a deep resentment for his father, to the point that, in a fit of rage, Arcann attempted to kill him. Both Arcann's parents believe jealousy to be Arcann's hidden and fatal weakness. He was a fierce frontline warrior, and when working with his brother Thexan, the two were nearly unstoppable. Arcann and Thexan were inseparable as children, with Thexan helping Arcann in times of need and Arcann having complete faith and loyalty in Thexan. When Arcann lost his arm, Thexan never left his side, something Arcann deeply appreciated. After accidentally killing Thexan, Arcann was shocked and heartbroken by his actions, and it is implied this is the one action he has taken that he regrets.

Noteworthy Equipment: His left-side mask, his left-side cybernetic arm, his yellow-bladed lightsaber

Backstory (minimum of one paragraph): Arcann and his twin brother Thexan were the sons of Valkorion, the "Immortal Emperor" of the Eternal Empire & the Slayer of Izax, and Senya Tirall, of the Knights of Zakuul. As children, Arcann and Thexan would often swap clothes to confuse their servants. They were trained from childhood to be warriors, but Arcann gradually became resentful of their father's apparent lack of interest or affection towards them, his resentment growing as the years passed, despite Thexan's attempts to placate him. Senya loved the twins but they didn't return her affections. Eventually, when their sister Vaylin was born and displayed unstable powers, Valkorion simply locked her mind to contain her powers. When Senya attempted to leave Valkorion and take her children, Arcann and his siblings simply laughed, calling her weak. Senya was then forced to leave them alone, as her children were more powerful than her. When the twins reached adulthood, they requested their father's permission to lead an attack to test the strength of the galactic powers of the greater galaxy. Valkorion approved their venture, but decreed that only Thexan would lead the Eternal Fleet. Arcann disobeyed and joined his brother anyway. Even as they led the Empire's armies in driving back the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. Arcann lost his arm and received heavy scarring to his face during an attack on the Sith world of Korriban, and gained a cybernetic arm and mask covering the left half of his face. At some point during the conquest, Arcann and Thexan led an assault on the Sith planet of Balmorra.

Arcann became furious when, after he and Thexan presented the lightsabers of the fallen Jedi and Sith as trophies from the battle to their father, Valkorion turned away in silence, and overcome by the dark side of the Force, Arcann attempted to attack the Emperor. Thexan, in an attempt to prevent his father's death, pulled his brother back. Arcann turned his attention to Thexan and struck out at him, but their brief duel ended when Arcann struck his brother down with a cut across the stomach, and the glint of the dark side faded from his eyes while he cradled Thexan. After his brother's passing, Valkorion instructed Arcann, now his only son, to come with him which Arcann officially become a true heir of Valkorion, becoming a Crown-Prince of the Eternal Empire.

During the Eternal Empire conquests against the Galaxy, there was a battle where the Eternal Empire got defeated for the first time, it was the Battle of Odessen (in the later years, it would be called the First Battle of Odessen when the Alliance revolt against the Eternal Empire) between the Eternal Empire and the Galactic Republic, with the support of one of the finest Jedi on the field that is led by Grandmaster Satele Shan. The ruthless Prince of Zakuul would met the Jedi Grandmaster and would fought inside the Republic base for ten minutes, the lightsaber fighting between the ruthless Prince and the Grandmaster was intense until Grandmaster Satele Shan would found Arcann's flaws by using her shatterpoint abilities and was thrown across the wall and Arcann would be covered by the rubbles of the already damaged Republic base in Odessen which he got knocked out.

One of my co-ops and I have some concerns about her mental-domination ability, so we'd like to see that nerfed abit (we were thinking to the point that it can only affect one NPC at a time). Once that's done though, you're good to go.

If they're technically demi-gods, then I'm afraid I'll have to say no to them (as gods and demi-gods are not permitted in this RP).

I'm going to put this app on hold for now, as I'd like to see some good participation and high quality posts in the RP before clearing two high-powered characters for a new player. (Though, out of curiosity, is this from an alternate Star Wars universe? Because Lana mentions that Odessen was unsettled as of the Alliance's arrival there, so I don't believe there were ever any Republic bases there in SWTOR, or any battles there before the Alliance established their base on the planet).
