If you still haven't gotten a reply yet, it might be best just to have her wander over to the Conference Room at this point (I'd like to get the new arrivals briefed so we can get started laying the groundwork for our next universe).

Can do. It cool if I just sort of imply that she's sort of been catching on to where she is, or nah?

Same with Katya, since I only posted once for her. I had char!Torii crash into the bed, so she'd be out for the entire hostage crisis.

EDIT: Hmm...I also never parked Iko.

Question, what's the "power scale" here? Or in other words, how over the top can I go?

You can see a description on power levels linked in the character application. New characters are limited to tier 3 of that power level indicator.

Character Name: Rift/ The Malice
Gender: Male
Appearance (an image or suitable description shall suffice): Image
Age: 3,000
Universe of origin (both established and original universes are acceptable): The Nightverse, or Universe 30-V923, a universe which is part of the base Drakeholm Universe. The combining factor in all of these Universe is magic stemming from a diety called Falon. In the Nightverse Timeline, Falon was wiped out by an unknown event, splitting her power into 7 parts, which in turn fused with Sentient life. These creatures, now fused with parts of the god’s power, would be known as Wardens, and each could pop up in a random place in the Nightverse. It was a rare event that Warden’s ever met, however when they did it would often cause violent clashes. The 7 Wardens, in turn, each represented a part of Falon, Her Power, Kindness, Wrath, Wisdom, Beauty, Mercy, and Malice. Eventually, a large majority of species, united by the Warden’s, connected the Universe together, though they didn’t get along. Constant war broke out, and for 1 million years the Nightverse burned. Eventually, the entire Universe was united into the Falonian Empire. However, like all good things, the Empire eventually fell, splitting into the Falonigarchy and the Second Falonian Empire. It came to pass 3,000 years ago that the Malice was reborn into a Calian named Theor Balis, though he would not be known by this name long. Soldiers of the Second Falonian Empire came hunting for the new Malice.

Alignment: (e.g. chaotic neutral, lawful good etc.) Chaotic Evil

Abilities: Jumping: Rift can teleport using magic anywhere he can see. He can also teleport to a spot he has familiarized himself with as long as he is around a planet’s distance away. The further and quicker he teleports, the more likely he is to leave “Rifts” for brief periods of time for other’s to follow him.

Warden Physiology: Rift is infused with part of the divine power of Falon, specifically the Malice. This makes his body more resistant to damage and makes him stronger. He also has a innate healing factor that can heal most injuries over time.

Weaknesses: Rift’s natural abilities can be blocked by anti-spiritual or anti-magic devices, leaving him as venerable as a normal civilian. Also as the representation of Falon’s Malice, he is near incapable of helping someone for a good cause, unless he directly benefits from it.

Personality: Rift is first and foremost, malicious. He’s the kind of guy who would steal candy from your baby and sell it back to you at double the price. While he certainly has a sense of humor, especially for the darker side of things, he isn’t necessarily happy a lot of the time, though it isn’t beyond him. He also is known for having no mercy and a persistence stronger than that of a cockroach. If he was given the oppoutunity to kill an Army to the last man, he would hunt down and eviscerate each individual member if possible, and then give them a conversation about how them slowly dying hanging from a tree by their intestines is hilarious.

Noteworthy Equipment: Mark C Gravitron Gun- A gravity manipulator, Rift stole it from a secret weapons base in the Empire. It can imploded most smaller objects and can lift and pull things up to the size of the ISS. It can even change a smaller objects gravitational pull permnantly, but not more than 1-3 tons heavier than they're normal weight, this number decreases the larger the object he is altering, for example, he could use the full range on a small rock, but not on a human when altering weight. It is powered by the miniature singularities imploding things generates.

Mark DC Power Armor: Since his revival, Rift has secured for himself brand new experimental power armor straight from the heart of the Empire. Rift is still getting the hang of it, but it is a signifigant boost from his old gear. The power armor allows him to run near 70 mph, fly at 400 mph, survive in space for up to a month, and lift up to 30 tons. It is powered by a miniature cold fusion magical hybrid reactor in it’s core.

Backstory (minimum of one paragraph): Rift was born Theor Balis, to loving parents on the planet of Calia. His mother Yld came fro a long line of soldiers and generals, while his father was a mercenary who helped his wife cheat, kill and scam fellow military members. The result of this union was the replacement for the previous Warden of Malice. The Malice had always been tied to Calia, and had committed some of the most gruesome and nightmarish acts in the Nightverse’s history. The Malice symbolizes the part of Falon that lorded over Death, Chaos and Evil, and the Wardens of Malice were no different. For the first 5 years of his life, Theor lived a typical life. He was placed in a standard empire aging chamber at age 1 and was grown to be 7 years old, with knowledge and social skills planted into his mind. He then joined other Calian youth at the Calia Military Academy, to begin his training in the military. However, 4 years later at biological age 11, Disaster struck. He discovered his powers. As a result of this, Imperial Soldiers came to hunt him down along with his family, to imprison the Malice before he became full realized. While they succeeded in killing Theor’s mother and Father, Theor escaped and got on the first ship to the other end of the universe.

It was there that Theor met Hynas, a Bludgard rebel, fighting the empire. Hynas agreed to take in the young boy and allow him to work at his tavern at the edge of everything, if Theor helped the rebellion. Theor agreed. The rebellion taught Theor to hone his powers, by the time he was 20, he could tele port and kill a man with a martial arts move in ten seconds. It was then the rebellion brought him on his first combat mission. Though the mission was a success, the Rebels were appalled by Theor’s brutality and cunning. Scared for what would happen if they didn’t stop him, they attacked, leading Theor to fake his own death, take up the name Rift, and decide that all form of authority was corrupt and must be destroyed. The universe was better off in Anarchy.

Rift journeyed across the universe, stealing gadgets, learning knowledge, and leaving a trail of Anarchy, Death and war in his path. Eventually he crashed onto the ghost planet Lokamo. Here he met the Warden of Power, an old Xyldrian named Fe. Rift agreed to spare Lokamo if Fe taught him the spiritual and hidden secrets of being a Warden. For a thousand years, Rift studied under Fe, and the two developed a close bond. However it was not to last. One day while fetching supplies, a soldier recognized Rift as the man identified as the Warden of Malice. Calling in reinforcements, the Empire attacked Fe and Rift’s small hermitage, killing Fe with an experimental weapon, the Mark M Armor. In a blind rage, Rift managed to cause the armor to eject it’s pilot and take control of it himself, gaining one of his trademarks. He killed the rest of the soldiers, before hijacking a starship to continue his crusade against Order. His next adventure was to a nearby research lab, where he gained his Gravitron Canon, fully adopting the persona most people would now identify as Rift

Rift has since begun a 2,000 year reign of terror over the Empire, striking like a ghost and turning once bountiful planets into wastelands by destroying the governments and using Empire WMDs to destroy major population centers. Though other Wardens have tried to stop him, Rift defeated them and has used the tactics they tried on him to become stronger by defending against them. Now, when in the Nightverse, the name Rift means Death.

Since his suicide on the Hub, Rift had been enjoying paradise with his true mother, Falon. However, the Ascendants had managed to figure out a way to make the Abrogator transcend space and time to reach the unreachable pocket dimension that housed the lat conciousness of Falon. As her last act before being imprisoned, she revived the most legendary warden of each aspect to defend the universe. Rift however, decided to take the fight back to the core of the issue, and join the motley crew at the Hub if they would have him.

Desired Tier level:3

(Optional) [b]Theme Song:
Not available at this time
Likes: Anarchy, Destruction, Flick and Gorty, and a good Schilo to eat
Dislikes: Order, Imperial Soldiers, Rebels, Things that try to kill him, other Wardens except for Power
Personal Ship: The Blackwing, small ship meant for quick FTL travel to anywhere in the universe, before orbital dropping it’s passenger onto the selected planet. It is hard to pick up on radar and often goes unused at Rift’s home base on Calia, as Rift prefers being annoying on public transportation.
Additional Information: Nothing yet, will add here as his character develops.

Would armor that is basically the equivalent to, if not a bit better or worse, than Tactical Dreadnought armor be a bit overpower? Given the fact that both armors can stop a Leman Russ Battle Cannon round (150mm smoothbore cannon). Not stating the negative effects for wearing such heavy armor yet.

Hmm. I don't know. I'm open to the OP's suggestions. In my character app, I had the following caveat - "There are limits to what J.D. can transform into. This only applies to human, mutant, or humanoid DNA, not animals. And it doesn't work with genetic material from the dead, only the living. "

I suppose if they were humanoid, it might be possible. If they were animal-esque or shaped like a big puddle of goo, then probably not. But I will wait for the OP's suggestion.

Also, OP, J.D. has a power that I have not found much of a use for. His corrosive touch that is incredibly slow-acting. I hesitate to use this, because there always seems like something better he can do. Could I make this a bit quicker (so it will begin to burn, maybe after a delayed reaction of the next post after J.D. uses this ability?) Otherwise, I don't know that I ever will use it...

And frankly, given what a psychotic pain in the neck he was, I'd prefer he'd stay that way. (Plus even if he did come back, Revan would probably kill him on sight after he sabotaged the Hub).

Revan is a man of faith, clearly if some fucker was brought back from the dead with the purpose of helping him, he would put up with him, and Rift doesn't mess up shit that benefits him, like the Hub and the crew now do.

(Note that a few points about the Orkz in this app shall be skipped for the sake of convenience and or that I forgot. Ex. the subconscious gestalt psychic field, spores, etc.)

Character Name: Gloomcutta Scalpslashah

Gender: Male

Appearance: https://www.spikeybits.com/wp-content/u ... 4f9394.jpg (When not fully armored or geared)

Species: Mekboy

Age: 500

Universe of origin: The grim darkness of Warhammer 40k

Alignment True Neutral

Abilities:

Stupendous Ork Toughness - Orks are stupidly resilient and can survive the most horrendous of conditions. To emphasize this point, I shall give you an example. Once upon a time, there was an Ork named Bob. As Bob was fighting some stupid humans, he got his right arm blown off. Bob did not fletch or panic, he kept on fighting. Once the situation calmed down, Bob went on to find his arm or some other Ork’s arm. Once able to find a arm to his liking, Bob uses a stapler to reattach the arm to his body. And within a few days or even hours, Bob is fully recovered. Not to mention all his other wounds, such as, bullets holes, 4th degree burns, broken bones, etc.

Not only that, Orks can withstand the harshest of living conditions. They can live off the minimalist requirements for energy (food). Live in the chemical wastelands, in which humans would need fully protective gear. While the Ork can just shrug it off, naked. You get the point. This is all due to their fungal bodies, which would be complicated to get into. But know this, Orks are tough motherfuckers. From their creation to the 41st millennium, they manage to survive by sheer bloody determination and brute force.

Mekboy Ingenuity - Mekboys are the de facto engineers of any Ork gathering. Everything that a Ork needs, like a gun, tank, bomb, plane, or anything that is more sophisticated than a stone hackett, the Mekboy will deliver. However, unlike actual engineers, a Mekboy does not have a damn clue on how their weapons and vehicles work, they just do. Throw a pile of scrap metal, mechanical parts, and some glue. The Mek shall subconsciously identify parts that could go into a gun, tank, or plane, etc. Meaning, that Gloomcutta can make some crazy shit, when given scrap and parts to work with.

Weaknesses:

Ork Stupidity - Orks are not the brightest of minds within the 41st millennium. Given that they only manage to survive through sheer determination and brute force, and not by the Goldilock of the God Emperor, or with super technologies like the Eldar. And by that nature, Orks usually opt for the most straightforward of approaches, as thoughts of repercussions are not even considered. If the Ork in question can even conceive the word, repercussion. A majority of Orks only know two things in life. How to pull a trigger and or bash objects against other Orks, or humans. In hopes of not making this into a list of how idiotic Orks are. Just note that Orks are stupider than humans, and you know how retarded humans can get.

Although Orks are mentally-challenged. There are at least a decent amount who actually have brain cells. Usually these are leaders and or orks who specialized in fields of, “medicine”, engineering, or some other shit. Yet, Orks that do have brain cells often just prefer the most straightforward of options. As some Orks have headaches trying to think logically.

Slow and Bulky - If there was a score of 1 to 10 for rating mobile capacity for Mega Armor, it would be -1. Given such a unique score, you could imagine the amount of elegance and precise movements that the Mega Armor gives. Which is nothing. Do not expect Gloomcutta to run, only walk at a slow pace;a few inches at best. In essence, Mega Armor is like a tank without tracks. The only thing that Mega Armor has for itself is it’s protection values. (See Mega Armor)

Personality: Gloomcutta Scalpslashah is an “explosive” individual, preferring to solve most issues with the most obvious of answers . Both the thrill of battle and constructing absurd new weapons and armors is what he lives for. Nothing more, nothing less. However, given time, Gloomcutta may develop some new emotions along the way. Plus any kind of attempts to traumatize Gloomcutta is going to fail absolute. The Warhammer world is batshit crazy.

Noteworthy Equipment:

Mega Armor - Both heavy and bulky, Mega Armor is the biggest and baddest armor for Orkz out there, rivaling the Tactical Dreadnought armor of the Space Marine Chapters. As such, the level of protection is pretty damn good. Nothing less than a Leman Russ Battle Cannon (150m smoothbore cannon) will suffice. Even then, you will probably need a second shot to severely damage the armor. Or if a battle cannon is not available, a Lascannon will make do. Just insure that the Lascannon is on max power and you have good aim, because it’ll take a few dozen shots before anything really happens the armor. Yet, for the armor’s protection, it has a few drawbacks…(See Slow and Bulky)

Ammunition Backpack Storage - To supply his guns with enough ammunition, Gloomcutta has a massive ass backpack to store enough bullets to sustain him for 6 minutes of non-stop full auto fire. Given that he will not be wasting that much ammo in that short amount of time, this backpack shall be able to last a long mission. Also to note, this backpack does not help with the already severe mobile issue.

‘Ripper’ - The Ripper, a name entitled by Gloomcutta for the weapon’s anti-armor capabilities, is a heavily modified Psycannon. The rounds that this beast fires are what Gloomcutta calls ‘Burna Rounds’. These 45mm sized rounds are packaged with a unstable Melta-warhead. And when these massive rounds hit armor or an unlucky soul. The warhead releases high concentrations of energy, melting at such high temperature that even power armor (and or lighly armored vehicles) can be bypassed. Besides the ammunition itself. The Ripper’s ammo supply is connected to Gloomcutta’s ammunition backpack with a rate of fire of 900 rounds per minute. Lastly, the Ripper is attached to the left hand of the Mega Armor.

Twin-Linked Assault Cannon - Image two rotary autocannons welded together, and that is what the Orkz consider “twin-linked.” Although crude and simple that is the craftsmanship of a Mekboy is, the rotary cannons underneath the right hand of the Mega Armor is powerful. Hosting a high fire rate of 4,000 rounds per minute, this beast of a weapon system works upon 20mm rounds of harden steel to rip through hordes of enemies. The main ammo supply comes from the ammunition backpack.

Backstory (minimum of one paragraph):
Like any Ork. Gloomcutta Scalpslashah was born from the spores of another Ork, growing in the ground. Once the time had come, Gloomcutta Scalpslashah was simply pulled from the ground by a Snotling. Shortly after that, Gloomcutta proceeded to grab the Snotling and eat him for interrupting him in his sleep. And so, begins the short life of Gloomcutta Scalpslashah, Mekboy. A small tribe of 200 Orkz was Gloomcutta in, called the ‘Crazy Gunz’. Telling from the name ‘Crazy Gunz’, the tribe had a massive fetish for anything that made the sound, Dakaa. Also, the planet that Gloomcutta was on, was a chemical hellhole, or in the grand scheme of things. Another Monday for the Orkz. However, that would be useless info later.

Within no time, Gloomcutta was considered a prominent Mekboy, being the few and surviving Mekboy that was there from the start. Which warrant a good shot at dying from the Warboss, or in this cause, a Big Mek. Yet, by the cunning nature of Gloomcutta, he manages to make a life out of himself, building tanks, planes, and guns for Crazy Gunz without dying. Wars and battles were fought, land was lost, land was gain back, new rivals came and go. Life was as normal for Gloomcutta, being a Mekboy. This would just continue for a few more hundred years. Nothing of real significant happening, besides Gloomcutta growing even more bigger and his thirst to build even more crazy shit, specifically fitting titan sized weapons upon tanks that was the size of a Warhound Titan. Sadly for Gloomcutta, his time in the Warhammer world came to a close, when the fuckery that is the Conduits teleported Gloomcutta into the Hub.

Tier level descriptors
Desired Tier level: Tier 3

In summary, Gloomcutta can be considered a walking “mobile” weapon platform with the guns that he has, along with the armor that he got too. The only issue is the fact that he will need the support of the crew to properly cover him, if Gloomcutta is going to at his most efficient. Which should not be much of a problem. Gloomcutta is also going to be extremely slow, probably not able to really get caught up with the party. Combat-wise, he’s extremely powerful. Everything-else, he is going to be a massive pain.

Also, if this is too overpowered. I have no issue in scaling down the app or just making a new one.

Revan is a man of faith, clearly if some fucker was brought back from the dead with the purpose of helping him, he would put up with him, and Rift doesn't mess up shit that benefits him, like the Hub and the crew now do.

Revan only had faith in the people he trusted, and as many bad experiences as he had with the Sith, there's no way he'd ever put any faith in someone as evil as Rift. Plus, since Rift felled himself with his own weapon, Revan would undoubtedly assume it was some sort of trick, and that he never died in the first place. Plus, Revan was also notoriously pragmatic; during the Mandalorian War he would leave entire worlds defenseless if their defenders would be better put to use helping him achieve his strategic objectives. He would not hesitate to kill someone he knew to be a saboteur that could put his mission in jeopardy. Rift was killed for sabotaging the station, and there's just no way Revan wouldn't make sure he stayed that way if he saw him again.

So there are quite a few things that need addressing I'm afraid: The armor definitely needs a major nerf. Honestly, with that little mobility, most of his time in the RP would probably be spent near the Conduits because he'd be too slow to actually get to the action before it ended anyway, so it needs to be swapped out for much lighter and less powerful armor. For the weapons, the Ripper needs to go altogether (though you're welcome to replace it with a Choppa or similar melee weapon if you'd like) and the twin-linked assault cannon needs a major nerf as well (down to something like a regular assault rifle or shotgun). To the abilities, I'm afraid you are going to need to go into more detail on the fungal bodies (as my knowledge of 40K lore doesn't really extend beyond Imperial Guard campaigns in Dawn of War :p ). All in all, this app is going to need some serious revisions before it can be accepted, so it might be easier just to go with a new character, but if you'd prefer to keep this one, my Co-ops and I will help you work through the details.

I'll likely just go write another app. Maybe a Imperial Guardsmen or Tau Fire Warrior.

EDIT:
Question, can I app for a fighter-bomber? Or nah?

For it to be your character's ship than yes, but as a character no.

Character Name: ‘Addison’

Gender: Ambiguous as fuck

Appearance: https://1d4chan.org/images/0/07/XV15.png (discard the massive Burst Cannon)

Species: Human

Age: 25

Universe of origin: The grimdarkness of Warhammer 40k.

Alignment: True Neutral

Abilities:
Nope, just your normal human.

Weaknesses:
Although outfitted with fancy Tau tech, Addison is still very much human. Shoot Addison with bullets, Addison shall drop. Spook Addison, Addison shall run. Step on a landmine, I'm fucked. You get the point.

Personality:
Addison is a rather silent individual, barely talking. Even if Addison does talk, the voice is extremely monotone. Whatever Addison does, it is always on the side-ways, not really wanting to draw attention.

Noteworthy Equipment:
VX15 Stealthsuit - The XV15 is outfitted with stealth systems allowing it to infiltrate, jetpacks for mobility, and a helmet with advanced auto-sensors for surveying the landscape with precision. As you can see, the VX15 is primarily a stealthsuit, used for infiltration, flanking and general sneakiness. Attempting to see upon the individual in the suit is going to be a a issue without on-hand advanced sensors. As for protection value, it's not terrible. The suit shall withstand the likes of 50.cals, and or a few dozen shots from a Lasgun. But being shot with more larger and more powerful weapons is not going to be pleasant.

Pulse Carbine - Basically a SMG with a slightly higher full-auto fire range but no single shot long range mode. Also comes with a photon grenade launcher to pin or blow up people. And if anything that comes from the barrel of the carbine hits a unlucky soul, have fun with plasma melting your body.

‘Spotter’ - The Spotter, a nickname given to the modified Tau recon drone for its stealth and info gathering capabilities, is the primary drone used for battlefield awareness and reconnaissance. Equipped with advance auto-sensors and stealth technologies, Spotter can stay “invisible” as long as the power source does not malfunction. Or some kind of highly advanced sensors can detect the drone. Hidden or not, Spotter can relay images, statistics, enemy counts, etc. to other drones and to Addison, providing vital information on the battlefield. Spotter is also equipped with marker lights, basicly flares to spot enemies.

‘Killer’ - Killer or in more proper terms, the DX-6 Remora Drone Fighter, is a heavy duty drone, meant to blow and put holes into enemies. The weapon inventory of such drone are two missile pods and a twin-linked plasma weapon system. The latter being fitted with twin-linked Burst Cannons. The former being fitted with both the smart missile system. To briefly explain the weaponry, the smart missile system’s munitions having advanced built-in target tracking and guidance systems. Means that the fired missiles can Robotech around obstacles on the way to their target allowing for multiple simultaneous missile strikes. While the twin-linked Burst Cannons are essentially pulse miniguns, four rotating barrels to mitigate thermal stress, able to sustain ferocious rates of fire of extremely hot Plasma. I almost forgot to mention that this drone also has the same stealth tech as Spotter. .

Backstory:
A Very Short Non-Detailed Story About Addison.

Addison’s life upon an Imperial world was one of poverty, violence, crime, etc, etc. You know, grim dark. Anyhow, it was shit indeed. But Addison being Addison, the human got do something about it. Which is jack shit because what the fuck are you going to deal with Imperial nobles that got a local army to do their bidding? And so, nothing of real significance happens for a few odd years. Until a few blueskin guys came along to the planet.

The Tau already subjugating the planet’s nobles, went on with their plan. Which would take another few odd years for the Tau to actually complete and then another few years to then insert Enclaves, yeah, it took the Tau ages to convert the planet. While all that happened, Addison was still doing the best to not die from the gangs and looters that were around the block. Yet, at the lucky age of 18, a opportunity came to Addison. A one-way trip a Tau sept world, a rare occasion to happen. So, Addison took it without issue and off Addison went.

Once upon the Tau sept world, Addison was shortly re-educated and easily indoctrinated into the Greater Good. From there, Addison went into the armed forces, the Fire Caste. And so, we skip 7 years into the future, as Addison was being deployed for the Damocles Crusade, the warp fuckery that the Conduits teleported Addison into the hub.

Tier level descriptors
Desired Tier level: 2

#PandorasBoxCharacters - Please do not remove

Well, given the amount of firepower that Addison has, the lot can be considered a “small firebase” on the move. Although the amount of protection is rather very limited. The only entity that is armored would be Addison. .

Addison's at least a tier 2, I'd think. Flight, stealth, resistance to large-caliber weaponry... yeah, the suit basically turns them into something on par with Iron Man.

This one definitely looks much better, but there are still a couple points that need addressing. The armor is definitely better, but given its high mobility, being able to stand up to "the likes of 14.5×114mm" rounds seems abit much. I'd also say the suppression drone should go, given that combined with the other two that is alot of firepower. Other than that though, I think you're good to go.
