Yep we'll have some down time after the mission, though there's no way he'll be able to figure out how to reprogram the Obas units (since they're lightyears more advanced than any tech he's ever worked with, and that'd take away a major enemy unit type for later universes). The most he'll be able to get from the damaged chip is that it has a number of similarities to the technology on the Hub, and the final orders issued to the unit to secure Helgen and eliminate all its citizens.

Nah, the Ascendants did a good enough job designing them that they wouldn't leave any such glaring weak points. And if the units do have any weak points, I should think they'd need to recover a full, intact unit to discover it (which wouldn't be an easy task).

Okay, so as activity seems to be pretty low lately (I'm guessing likely due in part to my absence last week, for which I apologize) I'll officially be ending the Skyrim arc on Friday so that we can move the story along. If you'd like to get a post up pertaining to the dragon attack, please do so before then. As discussed earlier, I'll be starting up a new IC once the Skyrim arc is completed, so that the link in the IC OP can be updated to link to the current OOC. I've also decided to designate that new IC as "Chapter 2" of Pandora's Box (mostly just so it'll be a little easier to distinguish between the two ICs). The events up to the end of Skyrim will be considered "Chapter 1" and I'll write up a synopsis of the major events so far to put in the OP so that new arrivals have an easier time learning about what's happened so far. As the RP carries on, I'll probably designate a new chapter every two or three universes we visit, and will update the synopsis accordingly (though in the future, there won't likely be a new IC for new chapters, each new chapter will just be marked IC'ly with a plot-related post for Captain Sheridan/Malzorg).

Once the new IC is up, we'll have some downtime on the Hub so the new characters can introduce themselves to the characters that were in Skyrim. I'll also be looking at the apps that have been pending review, and will do some recruitment to try and attract some fresh blood. After that, we'll be heading off to the Star Trek universe (speaking of which, the poll for which era we visit is still open, so if you haven't cast your vote feel free to stop by the discord and write your choice in the multiversal voting booth, or TG your choice to myself or a Co-op).

I had an idea that, like Elizabeth who had gone to get dragon scales, J.D. (being the 5-finger-discount guy that he is) was also going to try to take something from the dragon. But I was thinking more of the tech. Is that permissible, and if so, do you have any suggestions for what he could take? Thanks.
