Actually, Pennsylvania has a rather large steel industry, and has oil. Also, NYC is the largest city in America, and has more people than Texas as a whole does right now. Well, Spatz being Spatz, I doubt he'd really do much about that.

I'll have Spaatz call up volunteers first for the war effort and demand that women begin to work in factories, but not have too many rights, we don't want them thinking of real democracy in the empire! *scoffs*

That's what I was thinking. He should be perfectly capable of fighting a very resilient defense, if you had set yourself up better, you'd give the Syndicate a hell of a bloody nose. If you don't see your self winning, just destroy anything they might want.

This is 1925 and we are recovering from a dissolution. Supporting multiple battleships would be questionable if they had not already been constructed. I mean, you have around 5 million people. The Taxes of those people are pretty small compared to the entire United states

To convert a carrier cost 400 thousand and that is just to convert from a collier.

A single Lexington class cost 45 million to make. Even if Texas had all the oil under state control and sold it to the highest bidder. To build them along with battleships and then maintain them would be beyond their capabilities

No doubt about it. I just believe the railway guns are a little unrealistic and the large numbers. Just lower those numbers a little bit and I would be fine.

They honestly aren't that practical, and I really don't have too many. Those things take hours to position and fire, so they're mostly just for the shock and awe part of warfare. Those 240 mm SPGs take hours to set in place and fire as well.
