Of course, my character would be an exception, but would most likely he wouldn't be playing dice with Yasseth.
Also, due to the sheer amount of Draconians here, my character will be schooled in their language. Future players, please for the love of the gods pick an elf or a dwarf or a human...

Well I was making a human but now a half elf sounds cool. But maybe later, now I'm just doing simple farm girl.

We've got a dwarf coming, I'm pretty sure. I may or may not throw in an elf. But yeah, I share your sentiment towards DraconiansDanceria wrote:Why not a half elf farm girl. Not every elf has to be a prince/princess
This is true.

Maybe she's not a first generation half elf. Or she simply hasn't had a chance to move away or doesn't want to ditch her parents. It's not that difficult

Nuri, on the topic of powers I'd honestly prefer if you toned down both the powers and the weakness to sunlight a bit, but I'll leave it up to you. It's not like we have a standard power level or anything around here, what with having dragons around.

Sure Zark, whatever you want. But what specific powers do you think are a problem? And tone down the weaknesses? I never heard that before.

Abilities: Highly skilled Apothecary. Highly skilled Linguist. Can somehow burn water.
Story: Tygan was once the God of Chaos. But his insanity got the better of him, thinking the other gods were conspiring against him, regardless of the fact that they almost certainly weren't. He thought they were after his famous lemon ale recipe. Of course the only way to hide it from them was to never have in his head, so in order to best ensure they would never find it, he somehow managed to reincarnate himself as an
aged human and in doing so, wiped his memory clean of his past life. Now a human he decided to learn human skills! The first being the art of Apothecary, which he quickly took to. A few months later, he was experimenting, and managed to blow up the lab. Which understandably got him kicked out of the school. He then decided to learn a new skill. One that hopefully wouldn't involve potential explosions: Linguistics! Learning the languages of the many races throughout Xanara. And as fate would have it, he somehow managed to burn it down. At which point he finally decided that maybe learning just wasn't for him. So he threw a dart on a map which to his shock didn't burst into flames, the dart landing on a small little village named Mythvale.
So he moved there, and has been doing business translating, selling elixers, and insisting that the insects are tools used by the Gods to spy on them.
Other Stuff: Has once managed to burn water.

Near invincibility, maybe they can be weak to magic but not to human attacks. Since they're undead and all.
Also elemental is some control over an element. Like a bender from Avatar.

Eh, if they can be exposed for hours though, then also having the possibility of complete immunity makes it too easy, in my opinion.
As for invincibility, well, depends on what exactly you mean by that. I'm cool with them being unable to be killed through physical means short of sunlight/fire, but I don't think it should be impossible to incapacitate them with mundane weapons, or worse yet, that weapons bounce off of them.
The elemental part is fine, then, though in that case I'd like you to put what element each of them hasNuridia wrote:Or, I can go old school vampire. I like that option as well. I'll leave it up to you.

Name: Bardur Stormhammer
Age: 120
Gender: Male
Race: Dwarf
Appearance: Shorter for obvious reasons.
Occupation: Merchant
(occasionally Bardur will occasionally perform actions outside of his shop, such as exploring and all other fantasy stuff you'd expect a dwarf man to do, but for the most part his official Occupation is this.)
Abilities: As Bardur is a dwarf, first and foremost, he is a master of the art of banter, a not-so-ancient art involving the use of insults to demoralize and discourage any potential enemies or otherwise. Likewise, dwarves - and especially Bardur, have an extremely prominent natural talent in the fields of mining and engineering, with a special preference towards the latter. Bardur is essentially capable of creating great things out of the scarcest of resources, be it weapons or otherwise everyday materials. While some dwarves aren't so much known for their mental intelligence as much as they are for their mechanical and engineering intuition, it should be known that Bardur is not, under any context, an "idiot", and thinks about his problems in a materialistic, technical mindset. Bardur also has had his fair share of fighting over the years, and is known to be a very prominent opponent when it comes to wielding a warhammer - especially a dwarven one. Aside from this, Bardur has no real supernatural abilities, unfortunately, and is no better than a regular human when it comes to the bare minimum. Only, he's shorter. And a bit older.
Story: Bardur is.. well... He's definitely not a native to Mythvale - or, the surrounding lands, at all. Bardur comes from a strange, mountainous city far beyond the Bipolar sea, known simply as "Mount Doruhl", as referred to by Bardur himself. Aside from the dwarven city essentially being built into the mountains of the area, there isn't really anything noteworthy of the city - that is, until one takes into account the literal caves full of riches gathered from the years of war, plundering, trade, and what have you.
Bardur came to know about the regions elsewhere to Mount Doruhl from a tall tale among Doruhl's populace, about strange, and faraway lands full of magical wonders one could only dream about or hear told in a tale. One town particularly stood out among others - being the lands of Moghtir, a fabled land accessible from far over the great Bipolar Sea that was rumored to have a supposed "black powder", among other riches that most just laughed off. To some, Moghtir seemed like a fairy tale but not to Bardur. Bardur considered the legendary lands to be more of an economic venture that could go a million different ways for the better, rather than just some foolish fairy tale. Taking with him as much goods as he could possibly pack onto a single boat, and intending to strike it rich in the mysterious lands across the ocean, Bardur set sail across the aptly named Bipolar Sea, trumping over sudden storms and dangerous fishes for two months straight before finally hitting the shores of Moghtir after his long and perilous journey.
Only, it wasn't Moghtir at all. In fact, he had ended up in a completely different place in that he intended to sail to.
Instead, he had ended up in Mythvale, another fabled town that was definitely not where he was intending to go. The much more lighthearted Mythvale, while rumors were circling around about its existence back on Mount Doruhl, was assumed to most as being simply, well, a myth. No pun intended. Even though Mythvale was the exact opposite place that he was intending to go, Bardur still made the best out of his predicament and settled in the village, where he, using his riches and goods from his now faraway home, quickly bought out a shop and a house both to live the town, and operate his newly-founded trading business from. He has lived here in Mythvale ever since, and finds it to be a wonderful place, though he doesn't bother reminiscing about back home every once and a while...
Other Stuff: Known to be a very capable fighter with a warhammer. Owns, as stated above, a house and a fairly popular shop.
