You could start earlier if you want.
2053 should be an optimal date, also, you can get popular and lunar support as well, the choices are listed on page 2.

If you're anti-corporate, assuming that you took USW, you might have a hard time with a German colonist.

You do know that the German colonist is Corporate loyalist, right? Which means if you're anti-corporate, there's a high chance that they might rebel from you. Just a heads up.

For the record, in case anyone is planning, the Exarchate purchased both Indian colonists in year three.

Hum. In year three?

I suppose I could get a prisoner instead. I just have the money, so I figured I might as well spend it on not-quite-as-terrible colonists.

I can reimburse you just don't want religion clashes between Islam workers and the native Voodoo worshipers without having to gun down terrorists.

Eh. I mean, money is always nice, but it's no big deal. If you want a group you can have them, that's cool.

In my very next post, I'll be ICly proposing Demo and I merge our colonial leadership and share a ledger :P

And yeah, for the record, I have a sleep disorder which makes my active hours float around a lot.

EDIT: I'd also be switching my British colonists for a windmill - the extra colonists are literally useless to me for the next three years. For that matter, so are the Lunar colonists I bought for Seno, but it's a bit late to take that one back.

EDIT EDIT: Actually, it was technically possible for me to get a military base operating immediately. I had 8 bC that was left unspent in my latest post - plus Seno's 5bC, plus 2 bC if I were to go back and be getting French colonists instead.

But my post was supposed to predate Apple's, so whelp.

They also cost 5 billion every time I use them - they're strictly worse than a military base, if I have to take a loan either way, aren't they? Seno has food caches and I have African colonists, so I can afford to move energy from a biodome to a military base whenever it's relevant. Seno has money to make up the spare.

We don't negotiate with terrorists.

Also, because a military base is long-term useful.

No chance you'll let me unbuy the lunar colonists, right Hark? :P I mean, I wouldn't have bought them if we weren't going to have anywhere to use them immediately.
