At this point, we're becoming a dominant power in the Americas, and its Better to have friends wherever you go. CSA is also basically exerting lots of influence in the Americas about now, so that's lots of goodies we could possibly give you, or help you fight someone far off.

Because about 5-6 days ago someone said it was January so June works out if we count each day as a month, also British PM elections were in May 1913 so that works out better for me
