Against the Stars (OOC, Open)

DISCORD: https://discord.gg/EAC7q

In 2030, Humanity had it's Golden Age of superheroes. Powerful, colorfully dressed men and women protected the world and led it to the future. Their powers allowed them to push humanity to the stars, and humans quickly rose to become a force to be reckoned with. They had power, technology, and had terraformed and colonized their solar system. The largest and most advanced civilization in the Milky Way: The Collective, a peaceful race of machines, had even helped the Humans set up everything they would need to survive in the endless void of space. Space travel and ships were no more expensive than a common car. Life couldn't really get much better. But like all good things, it had to come to an end.

2060: The Hyperium. A race from beyond the Milky way had decided to invade. A powerful and ruthless force they were, cutting through armies and people just for being in the way. The Humans and the Collective fought back against their aggressors tooth and nail. The war slogged on for half a decade with both sides winning grand victories and suffering crushing defeat. The war was won...Barely. The once proud and giant Collective had fallen to a fraction of it's original size, a countless number of planets were either destroyed or rendered uninhabitable from the devastation. The Collective insisted that it would do everything in it's power to rebuild the Milky Way, bringing it back to it's former glory, alongside humanity's superheroes. On paper it was a great idea.

In practice... It didn't take long for the Collective to realize just had badly they were crippled by the war. Barely having the manpower to keep themselves afloat, let alone rebuild the infrastructure of an entire galaxy. The superhumans didn't fair much better. Before they were viewed as virtually immortal, unstoppable forces of nature that protected people out of the kindness of their hearts. Then people started seeing their heroes for what they truly were: People. Super or otherwise, a human was a still a human, with needs, wants and flaws. They made mistakes and difficult choices just like everyone else. Unfortunately, people wanted their heroes to be perfect and save them from the mess from the war. Not the flawed people trying to make the best of a bad situation. A few years was all it took before people turned on the heroes, either killing them or driving them away.

2083: The Collective's already thin resources were quickly starting to deplete, weakening their already loose hold on the little order in the galaxy had left. Constantly under attack from both pirates, rogue superhumans, or factions that had abandoned them and decided that it was better for them to just try to survive without having to listen to the Collective's orders. Most of the heroes were dead, running pirate gangs, or too afraid to face the people they had failed. To make matters even worse, massive, strange new creatures had made their appearance feasting on planets and stars. Regardless of whether or not they were needed by the people on those worlds. Rumors floating around that some people were insane enough to actually start worshiping these creatures.

"We need heroes"

And that's you. Hopefully. The galaxy is in ruins, under siege by pirates, 4th dimensional entities and vengeful superhumans. Most civilizations have collapsed or are on the verge of it. Everyone is tired and scared. They need hope. They need heroes. And that's where you come in. Be you an idealistic young hero just trying to keep the hope going for just a bit longer, or an old Hyperium War veteran sick and tired of watching your home die a slow and painful death. Or a group of people who are just trying to help. The galaxy needs everything it can get.

You can be a faction or character. There will be a power scale, but be warned, the Galaxy is a dangerous place. The story will be a bit more linear than most of my previous rps, but feel free to branch off. The Story will be in "Acts." With each act having a primary antagonist or group of antagonists who will need to be killed along with some secondary plots to keep everyone vested.

Such Dangers include:

The Worms: Planet sized, 4th dimensional creatures that feed on celestial bodies like planets, stars, and large asteroids. Unbelievably powerful, but mostly docile unless provoked. About as intelligent as a common house pet, these creatures are relatively new to the galaxy and have amassed a decent following, with unconfirmed rumors of giving powers to those who lead them to new planets to eat.

The 9: A notorious group of serial killers who often besiege entire cities in an attempt to get a hero to try to stop them by committing grisly mass murder. Their members change frequently, but are led by a shockingly handsome and well spoken man, who is probably the worst of them.

Pirates: Like most civilizations on a grand scale, pirates exist all over the place. Often have some resources and members that are valuable if taken or killed. Or they might just be druggies armed with laser weapons and a few space ships. In either case, the galaxy would almost certainly be better off without them. Almost always led by supers of varying powers.

Other Concepts: Things that are part of the world/galaxy.

Supers: Men and women from around the galaxy with reality breaking abilities. Were once the proud protectors of life, most have since abandoned the idea of superheroism in favor of themselves or their family. Can be human or almost any other custom race from the Galaxy. Most superhuman abilities come from the "super gene." An interesting piece of genetic code that ignores most if not all known laws of biology. Not only does it provide random powers that allow one to supercede the laws of physics in one or more ways, it also doesn't dilute with successive generations. The power source of the abilities remains unknown, but shows signs of being deliberately designed, rather than a random mutation by evolution. Tampering with it has seen varying degrees of success. Most supers get their powers through an event that pushed them into immense physical and mental stress, called a trigger, though some were lucky enough to have their powers activate randomly.

The Collective: A very advanced benevolent race composed of people who had their minds uploaded into machine bodies. Once the largest and most powerful nation in the Milky Way, now are barely able to keep themselves afloat due to crippling losses during the Hyperium War and also to resource, population fragmentation, and many other issues. Generally peaceful and benevolent, however several splinter factions have broken off from the Collective with varying degrees of hostility.

Haven: One of the very few planets were things are noticeably better than the rest of the galaxy. Most people make it their goal to get to this planet to give either themselves or their families a chance at a normal life. Relatively speaking of course. Haven itself is far from perfect, with gangs and rampant corruption along with rumors that The 9 are planning on making a visit.

Alright! That almost does it. Just one more thing! The power scale. We won't be using a traditional one. But rather one that rates you based on what powers(If any) that your character(s) may have. There can, and often will be overlap! You're not restricted to just one class! The scale goes from 1 to 10 (Eg: Tank 5, Mover 4). 1 being the weakest and 10 being the strongest. You will be given the rating by me or a co-op when your app is accepted!

Power Chart

Tank: The power class referring to those with enhanced strength and durability. Sometimes comes with a healing factor, flight or even energy projection.

Mover: Powers that enhance movement. Usually via Teleportation, super speed, enhanced agility. Often accompanies other powers. Flight is the most common one.

Psion: Powers that grant mind abilities. Like Telekinesis or Telepathy.

Elemental: Powers with control of one or more element. Pyrokinesis, or hydrokinesis.

Thinker: Powers that provide more information about the area or opponent. Enhanced senses, Numerical precision, Enhanced intuition.

Builder: Builds hyper advanced technology with buckets of scrap. Technopathy.

Blaster: Powers that allow for projectile attacks or some form of energy projection and manipulation. Energy manipulation.

Name/Alias: Jason Tassiter

Gender: Male

Age: 24

Appearance: Human, Transformed

Race: Human

Backstory: Jason was born to a pair of powerful warlords who boasted the claim that they had control of an entire solar system. Or rather, they had control over a few cities on a single planet that was relatively untouched by the Hyperium. His mother was an elemental with fine control of water, and his father a decent tank. Jason grew up with a better life than most. His parents were able to afford the things they showered him with by extorting the people under their rule. Taking whatever they needed or wanted while providing "protection" from "threats." Threats that they were responsible for in order to maintain their control. Their control only expanded when they were both able to fend off minor attacks from the Hyperium. In the 5 years that the war slogged, they rarely saw action, but took advantage of their situation to cement their rule over the populace. A few years passed and as Jason approached his teens and yet to demonstrate any powers, they were concerned that he wouldn't be able to look after their empire when they inevitably died. That being said, they were willing to wait a few more years until he finished up puberty to see if he had any powers.

By the time he turned 20, their patience had worn thin and they wanted their son to get powers. There was enough information about supers that they knew how to get him powers: They had to pressure him. Meanwhile Jason was watching his parents provide "safety" and "protection" to the people under their rule. It didn't take him long to realize that half the problems that the people had to deal with were because of his parents. He confronted them about it, and they decided that this was the perfect time to force him to trigger. They attacked him with ferocity that implied they were going to kill him. It didn't take long for the feeling of betrayal to kick in. The fear, anger, hopelessness, on top of the excruciating pain of shattered bones and water in his lungs. He triggered, but not like his parents expected. Instead of becoming a shiny superhuman like them, Jason started to transform. Armored scales grew around his body alongside flames. His parents stopped attacking him, but it was too late. Jason was literally on fire, covered in armor that continued, and lashing back at them. They figured they could overpower their son who just got his powers, and they having had theirs for years.

And as luck would have it, they were wrong. The fire boiled the water into vapor before it could come into contact with Jason's body. His father tried to wrestle his son. But quickly discovered that his son not only was getting stronger, Jason was getting stronger than him with each second he spent transformed. It wasn't until he attempted to push his mother aside that instead of brushing past her, sent her flying across the room and against the wall, did he snap out of his rage. His father jumped to his mother's rescue and Jason realized that he might have actually killed his own mother. So he in his infinite wisdom decided that the best course of action was to run away. So he stole one of his parent's ships and flew out into the unknown. Stricken with grief over what he'd done, he promised that he would only use his powers if he absolutely had to. Not that he had any choice in the matter as he found out. He had little control of when he transformed. His body did it whenever he felt threatened, and he only got stronger the longer he stayed in it. As he explored the galaxy, he got a perspective on just how bad things really were.

Vital resources like food and water were scarce. Those that had it were even worse than his parents were. People were miserable and dying, and there wasn't anything he felt he could do. Stopping or overthrowing the warlord would disrupt what little order there was. The food supply that was there would just be taken over by someone just as bad, if not worse. Eventually he moved to Haven, one of the last places in the Galaxy that could be called a decent place. And it wasn't that great. Sure there was some order. But it was obvious that a large portion of the people in charge were corrupt in some way shape or form. What hope he had was declining. The only things keeping him going was that maybe some day, those great heroes would return and save them. That's what heroes did... Right?

Powers and Abilities: Transformation: Jason's power is a transformation whenever he feels like he has to defend himself or fight. His transformation turns him into a dragon esque being. While transformed, he gains superhuman strength, durability, a healing factor and pyrokinesis. If he stays transformed long even, he'll grow wings that allow for flight.

Transformation Advancement: Jason's transformation gets more powerful the longer he stays in it. He gets stronger, faster, tougher, and his pyrokinesis gets more intense.

Weaknesses: Jason can't transform on a whim. He has to believe he's in danger or is going to be in danger soon.
Jason is weakest at the start of a fight.

Standard Equipment: None

Classification: Tank 3-10(Varies on how long he's been transformed) Elemental 3-4, Mover 3 (With wings)

Tag. Are we starting in the year 2083, or is that just the last time node since a major even happened?

Correct, we are starting in 2083. The Hyperium war ended in 2065 we are 18 years post war.

So, you are saying, that the long night has come. The Collective/Human Commonwealth the greatest civilization in history has fallen. And I could -theoretically- play, one ship, one crew, who have vowed to drive back the night and rekindle the light of civilization?

For today, I leave this WIP right here. ;)

Faction Name: Alliance Star Ship Theia

Faction Population: 192

Short description of Tech level: The Alliance Ship Theia was one of the latest designs of Collective/Human technology in 2060, with peak medical and astrometrical facilities. It's weapons and shields missed the wartime innovations invented during the Hyperion war but still outclass most current ships, who have to rely on simpler, cheaper technology due to the decline in infrastructure.

Faction Backstory: Build in the 2050th, the Theia was a Long Range Explorer, build to further mankind's maps of the galaxy, to supply and protect remote outposts and to knot diplomatic ties with alien planets. Their mission was cut short when the Hyperium attacked. The Theia was equipped with the latest weapon upgrades and sent to meet the enemy head on. The battle went surprisingly well - until the enemy main fleet arrived and the Collective/Human force realized that all they had attacked was a vanguard. The Theia's advanced sensors had picked up traces of a micro wormhole nearby and so it drew the attention of the enemy fleet and made a run, as many enemies on it's tail as possible. With a focused tachyon beam, they opened the micro wormhole to the point, where they would be able to escape through it. - Even if they did not know, where it let, any place was better then where they were.

They did not travel through space. To their surprise, they ended up in the same system, they had started, but their pursuers were gone. They shrunk the wormhole again with a ray of heavy photons. Then they calculated from the position of the system's gas giants and nearby stars, that they had traveled through time about 20 years into the future. Visiting Earth and Collective Nexus, they realized, that thought not everyone they knew was dead, the institutions, that they had sworn to fight for were essentially gone and there was no single entity, that the whole of the crew could agree upon to be the rightful successor of the Human/Collective Alliance. The crew of the Theia therefor decided, that the only reasonable course of action was, to go back to the purpose as a diplomatic vessel and bring unity again, to the various factions in their part of the galaxy. But so far, this task has proven to be much harder then imaginable, as forming an alliance needs trust and investment and while every system and every faction is concerned with their own, private struggles, few are willing to commit themselves to a greater ideal.

Race(s) the faction is made up of: 72 Humans, 88 Collective Units, 32 assorted Aliens of 8 different species

Name/Alias: Captain Selene Egio

Gender: Female

Age: 38 (born 2025, missing 20 years)

Appearance: Fair woman, with straight, long hair, originally black but now dyed silver. Selene is quite muscular of body, a striking contrast to her soft, friendly face.

Race: Human

Backstory: Born in rural southern Italy, Selene early on showed great potential concerning sciences and technology. As minor powers were known to appear in her family, she could have picked quite a number of academies to go to, but she wanted to explore space. She finished the common education at 16 and moved to Naples to study, with Astronavigation, Subspace technology and Xenobiology being cornerstones of her courses. She joint Earth's space forces right out of university but when the first common agency of Collective and Mankind were established not much later moved on to them. Being there from the start and equipped with a much more profound education than the geezers, who had went to University before contact with the Collective, it was no surprise that she was assigned the rank and position of commander at a remarkably young age. She held that position for 11 years, before finally, with the construction of the Theia, she got the opportunity to take an own command, as Captain of a Star Ship.

Powers and Abilities: Selene has the gene but it's mostly dormant. She never had a flashy awakening (as far as she remembers) of her powers but she had always had an edge. She learns faster then other people, especially languages. This mostly comes as a very specialized application of a broader power: Her great empathy and understanding of other people: When someone explains something to her, she gets it right, even if it's the worst teacher in the galaxy. Surprisingly enough, this feat crosses the barrier between species and even works with Collective Units and other sentient AIs. In other application of this power, she is a great human lie detector.
On the natural side of skills, she is physically fit, able to run 2-3 miles carrying an 16lbs backpack or a marathon unencumbered. She is a good pilot and has a lot of experience in all kinds of computer systems in general and starship operations in specific. Thanks to her powers she has acquired a wide array of skill in various languages and knowledge of Alien cultures, as well as academical fields of physics and biology.
On the cybernetical side of powers, she has a standard multi-slot chip-jack. The cranial computer that comes with it interprets mental commands but can't route his output back into the brain; it is instead linked to an image projector in the left eye and two sub-speakers in the ears.

Weaknesses: After more then 2 years in the present, most of her crew have somewhat adapted to the new reality of what the galaxy is in, she has a harder time adjusting. Slight autophobia (fear of isolation)

Standard Equipment: Depending on situation.

Classification: (Will be given to you by me)

Optional stuff

Important questions, that came up while I made this:
- How are the Robot citizens of the Collective are called, individually?
- What might their naming conventions be like. I'd suggest a human-like call-name followed by a 16 digit alpha-numerical ID but I'm open for anything.

Prokhor König - Human Freelance Psion (Telepathy, Telekinesis, Pyrokinesis, Cryokinesis, Fulgurkinesis, Magnetic Field Manipulation)

Important questions, that came up while I made this:
- How are the Robot citizens of the Collective are called, individually?
- What might their naming conventions be like. I'd suggest a human-like call-name followed by a 16 digit alpha-numerical ID but I'm open for anything.

Looks good so far! As for your questions.

The Collective aren't AI, but people who uploaded their minds into machines. So they'd likely just be called citizens or members.

Their naming structure is Name-Job-Model number Ex John-Ship Enginneer-SE-753

Age: 17

Appearance: He stands at 5'11, weighs 176lbs. Brown hair and eyes, with a slightly tanned, mostly pale complexion. He has moderate muscle tone. mostly wears a white, multiple purpose lab coat that is fire proof and highly resistant to most acids and radiation resistant. He wears a black undershirt and a pair of jeans as well as black, reinforced military grade boots. Race: Human

Backstory: Born to a pair of scientists, possibly some of the smartest people in the area of the Galaxy. They were researching to produce a serum that would allow them to fully unlock the full use of the Human brain. How ever, they needed a test subject, and injected them selves. While they did become moderately smarter, it wasn't until he was born that the serum's full effect became apparent. By 6 months he was walking and even talking basic English. By a year old, he was doing 1st grade math. The level of intelligence began to increase with age. At 6, things came to a head when the small station he was living on was attacked by the Hyperium. His parents (basically pulled a superman) and sent him in a shuttle craft to a local uninhabited moon that had been seeded with Flora and Fauna from Earth, turning it in to a temperate forest.

They sent him with a data pad full of their life achievements and research data, as well as a small prototype of the Nano Forge a devise that used microscopic nano bots to arrange the atoms of materials, allowing almost unlimited production of small scale items. No one fully knows what happened in his seclusion, but the next time he was sighted, he was 14 and at the helm of the newly built "Mother of Invention", a fearsome battleship that he was the sole crewmen of. He was seen accompanied by a blond haired girl, named "Alice", though her genetic structure resembles no known living Humans. (she is in fact the first fully sentient, fully organic, synthetic human ever created, and serves as his companion.)

He has only ever been seen during times of a incursion by the Worms, during which he combats them, and has killed multiple worms using the advance tech and fire power of his ship.

Powers and Abilities:
High IQ - Subject shows a heightened intelligence pushing the upper 190s in term of standardized IQ testing.
Altered Brain Chemistry - Subject shows a vastly altered brain chemistry, neurological processes is rated at 3+ times the speed of normal humans.
Eidetic memory - Subject has the capacity to remember things with photographic detail.
Over drive - for a short period of time the subject can vastly increase the rate at which the neurons in his brain fire, greatly increasing cognitive process and intellect.
Weaknesses:
Lacks combat training - Subject has show low skill and proficiency with military arms and weapons and is considered a low level threat.
Human - Other then altered brain and extremely high intelligence, subject has the body of a regular human.
Due to the altered state of his brain, the subject is capable of "thinking" him self to death, meaning the increased speed at which his neurons fire can cause psychical damage to the neural pathways, if left unchecked for too long, subject will slip in to coma like state.

Name/Alias: Kasana T’dere

Gender: Female

Age: 27

Image

Race: Human

Backstory:
Kasana T’dere is the daughter of Mason T’dere, better known as “The Butcher” in common culture. He wasn’t always known as that though, and growing up she couldn’t have asked for a better father. Mason was a superhero who was well known in the late 40’s and 50’s as a man of honor and citizenship, a beacon for people to look up to in the glory days between 2030 and 2060. He was powerful, undisputedly so, and was a brilliant military strategist, but always made a point of stopping a problem in the most humble way he could. Minimising casualties and keeping the safety of the public as his number one priority. He did so with a loving wife at his side, someone who would later become Kasana’s mother. Next to her husband she served as a wonderful public speaker, inspiring people everywhere to embrace their civic duty. Together they were unstoppable, and in the year 2056 they would conceive a daughter.

Kasana was born into a world where everything was perfect, the city she lived in being a large and grand monument to the technological achievements of the era. As soon as she could walk her mother would bring Kasana with her to her speeches, and in a year she would be the beacon her mother used to empower those she spoke to about the beauty and the potential of life in the galaxy. Her father was around, not so much at first, but as more and more super heroes arose, his services that once would have been used to save trapped workers or stop petty crime were going more and more unneeded. He was growing older, and now that he was in his early 30’s, he wanted to spend more time at home with his wife and daughter. In this time Mason and Kasana would become very close, and she would idolize him more and more.

This harmony would all change in the year 2060, as with the arrival of the Hyperium the forces of the galaxy needed not only young and capable heroes to fight on the front lines, but also older and experienced ones to help solve bigger problems and win larger battles. Mason was drafted as a commander in the galactic fleet, and after two years he would find himself in command of a much bigger force due to his prowess at commanding a ship. Those two years, however, had changed him. Where he was once a cheerful and idealistic man, he had never faced a threat as real as the Hyperium. He had watched his fellow soldiers die gruesome deaths and had adopted a much more nihilistic view of the world. He had become more angry, and he had all but forgotten his wife and daughter, the people who he was fighting for. It was these factors that led him to make his infamous decisions, that which would land him the title of “The Butcher”.

Back home, Kasana had grown to the age of six, and having learned the basics of knowledge, she would often draw and talk about how much she loved her dad, and how proud she was of him, keeping her and her mother safe from the bad people in the galaxy. The planet that Kasana lived on was near the heart of the galaxy, and due to this her and her mother were largely unaffected by the war at that point, the fighting having taken place on the fringes of the galaxy. The economy had taken a dive, but her mother had enough money saved and sold off enough property to keep them fed and safe, always putting her daughter before herself. This made young Kasana unaware of the hardships that many people were going through, as she still attended school, still ate food, and still had toys and games to play with when she was finished with her homework. Through this time, she maintained her pride in her father, something that would stay well founded until halfway through the war.

What had begun as a simple re positioning encounter turned into a disaster under Mason’s command. Warping into the Hystey Prime system, with orders to make five more jumps in order to mount a surprise attack on the Hyperium, Mason ordered the entire fleet to pursue a Hyperium scouting party in order to take out the data they had received when the scouting party had seen their ships. When the fleet mobilized the warp to chase the scouting party, they jumped into a trap, the Hyperium having positioned their ships around the known entrance point of the system based on the direction in which the scouting ships had come from, and proceeded to decimate Mason’s forces. Despite the heavy losses, Mason was unwilling to give up defeat, and instead of fleeing from the system to draw the Hyperium ships toward the main fleet and away from the populated planet in the system, Mason made the decision to blow up the planet, which the Hyperium was using as a body shield knowing that Mason would never fire on his own people.

Despite Mason’s command, the captains of the ships in his fleet rejected the order, and so the Admiral commanded that the highest ranking officer on each ship who was loyal to him execute their captain, and proceed with his orders. It took only 10 minutes before his loyalist soldiers had commandeered every ship, and his orders were carried out. The planet was destroyed and in the confusion Mason was able to fight them to a draw. His fleet however, was very badly damaged, and so instead of proceeding to the ambush site like he was originally supposed to, he returned to a docking port to receive repairs. This meant that the fleet he was supposed to give support to was demolished.

His trial was swift, and private, but instead of the court martial he deserved, he received a lateral promotion, his connections strong enough to keep him in the military. He was transferred to an armed squadron, where he would commit his second and final atrocity. While he had been a very famous hero, he had always kept the exact nature of his power a secret. It was widely believed that his power was some form of energy manipulation, and that the way in which he dispatched his enemies was through this energy. This, in fact, was wrong. Mason was a Hemomancer, and was able to manipulate blood just as his daughter could.

It was in the battle of Jordanian VIII that his true powers were revealed. The war had raged on for another year, and by now had finally reached the planet in which his Wife and Daughter lived. Refusing to give them up, he defied orders which called for him to remain off planet and tactically dropped himself into the fight. He dropped Hyperium soldiers one after the other, using their life essence in order to keep himself alive. The battle raged on for days, Mason barely ever sleeping. In the final act of the battle, the Hyperium brought the Capital ship of the fleet assigned to take the planet into low orbit, using it to demolish the fortifications that were present on the planet. Seeing defeat as almost inevitable, Mason made the same decision again, this time using his power to drain the life essence of everyone around him. Friend and foe fell in agony as Mason stripped them of what power they had, and used it in the culmination of his power. Millions died in his power draw, but in the end he was able to bring the Battleship down. His power however, hadn’t killed everyone. It had snaked from person to person, leaving some alive in the massive death piles that extended throughout the city. In the bombardment that was delivered by the Battleship before it fell, the entire building in which Kasana and her mother were hiding in was demolished. They had been hiding in the basement, and when the building was taken clean off, they were exposed to the air. Due to the this, Kasana had to watch as her father stole the life essence from her mother, killing her outright. Kasana was left alive, and it was then that her horrors began.

Having been found lying unconscious on the ground, Mason was taken into custody and was held there until the war was over. Kasana, who was too young to be identified, was thrown into what was left of the foster system. When the dust settled, and she was finally processed, she was singled out as the Daughter of the The Butcher. By now, Mason T’dere was a man hated everywhere. He was a man who had been broken by battle, and now viewed lives as expendable where he once protected them. His second trial ended much like the first one should have, and Mason was sentenced to execution. The execution was done publicly, and in a cruel final torture, the Trial lawyer who had sealed Mason’s death paid an enormous fee to bring his daughter to the front row, so that Mason could look into her eyes as he died.

Now parent-less and without a future, Kasana was fed through the governmental education system, and became a ward for several years. After watching her father die in front of her eyes however, she had her powers awoken. She resented these powers, having grown to an age where she understood the danger she posed to the public. Unfortunately for her, the government understood this too, and she was sent to live with the Collective.

Living with the Collective was the best possible option for Kasana, as without access to blood or life essence, due to the people of the Collective being machines, she was unable to accidentally bring harm to someone. In this life, she was able to become educated, and grow up with enough knowledge to know exactly what her father had done. She was ashamed of him, ashamed to be a T’dere, as everywhere she went people would associate her with her father. Even those in the Collective found her heritage to be distasteful, and feared what she could do so far from other humans.

When she reached the age of 18, the people who were charged with looking out for her decided it was time for her to make her own path. While they loved and cared for her as much as they could, they understood the risk that she posed, and so hoped that when he had a full understanding of what she could do and how to prevent anything wrong from happening, she would return. They paid her way to a central hub, and from there she was on her own.

While she still harbored intense amounts of resentment against her father for slaughtering innocents, she soon found that should she be faced with criminals and scum, she had no such reservations against it. Due to a lack of work on the central hub, she looked for work in the police services. She was physically capable, due to the fact that her diet for the past 7 years had been specifically designed food by the Collective for her, and she was witty enough to hold the job. The police however, were much more a protection gang than anything, and used her to scare people into paying them money. While the work made her uncomfortable, along with the people she worked with, the money kept her clothed and fed, and none of the gang members dared touch her in a way she didn’t want. She kept at this work for a few years before saying her goodbyes and taking a ship to Haven. She wanted somewhere where she could make a difference, and seeing as Haven was one of the few places supposed to have a semblance of civilization, she thought it would make a good home for her.

On that central hub out in the middle of space, her last name had never been a problem, and she had never bother to change it. It had helped in some of the intimidation routines, but never caused her issues. All of her documentation listed her as Kasana T’dere, and so when she was going through immigration processing, that famous last name was something that was flagged immediately. She was brought into a side room, where she was questioned about her intentions. Over the years the story of what her Father had done had been exaggerated quite a bit, and any stories or semblance of what kind of man he had been before the war was gone. The officials of Haven didn’t want her causing trouble, and so they forced her into a government position. For about 6 months she worked on a computer, inputting data and pushing things around. She was terrible at it, however there wasn’t much to do. The position wasn’t even necessary and had only been created to keep her under watch. She stayed here until political control of a major district of Haven was transferred over. Her presence in Haven had been buried in a heap of bureaucracy, but when the new head of the district came into power, their administration was able to identify her and pull her out of the desk job, and into what she had been doing for the past 4 years, intimidation.

And so this is where Kasana finds herself now, the intimidation tool of a political warlord. She does her job, but he life seems unfulfilled. She aches for something she feels passionate about, and yearns for a calling. Maybe in the coming months she will find one. A banner to fight under, for the good of the Galaxy. She can only hope.

Powers and Abilities: Kasana has the abilities of Hemomancy, able to manipulate her own blood in ways that defy physics, and absorb the life energy from the blood of others to restore her own well being. Her powers focus around her ability to change the form of her blood, from liquid to solid, and move it at incredibly high speeds toward her enemy. She can also make larger objects, however she must take care in her usage of these things, as too much blood loss could be fatal, just like any other human.

In terms of draining the life energy of others, it is a slow and excruciatingly painful process if done on anyone alive. Freshly dead people, however, serve as much better targets for this power, as they have no willpower to resist her stealing of the final bit of life from their bodies. This method, despite being much easier and quicker, has diminishing returns, due to most of a creature's life essence being taken when they die. She simply collects the small extra amount.

Just to note a discrepancy: The ability her Father had to draw and use life essence far exceeds her own, and as such she is nowhere near as powerful as her father was.

Weaknesses: In terms of power, Kasana’s weaknesses materialise in the amount of blood in her body, meaning that she is limited by how long she can fight and how much power she can use by how much left over blood she has. Her ability for her body to produce blood can be increased by draining the life essence out of people, alive or recently dead, however should she use too much of her power, she will fall unconscious or maybe even die should she spend too much of her own blood.

In terms of her personality, her weaknesses show in her shame of her legacy. She is not very socially skilled, however much she may attempt to be, due to the amount of time she has spent with the Collective. This is reflected in her inability to read facial cues, body language, or figure of speech, as none of these things are present in Collective culture on such a scale. While she has a good heart, she often falls short due to inexperience, and misunderstanding.

Standard Equipment:
Breathing Mask - While only necessary in certain parts of Collective controlled planets, due to very poor air quality, she treats this mask as a memento of her past and as such she carries it everywhere with her.

Broad Bladed Knife - Used by her to draw her own blood in combat, this knife is also the only relic she has from her father. Despite her shame, she carries it with her as a reminder of who she must never become, and whose footsteps she must never follow in.

Classification: TBT

Optional stuff
While she would never initiate the conversation herself, she can in fact be very open about her Father’s betrayal, and why she will never fulfill his legacy.

Theme song: Beginning Again - Fighting Kind

Random Facts about your character:
Despite numerous requests that she obtain cybernetic implants to assimilate into the Collective culture, she has refused, preferring to keep herself fully human. While this makes her more of an outside within the culture, it had been that way anyway.

Name/Alias: Lieutenant Mira-696

Gender: Female

Age: 5 years old in actuality due to cryogenic stasis and accelerated growth, though biologically and physically 18.

Appearance: Everyone in this picture is Mira, technically. The real Mira is the one in the hat, while the rest are each of the duplicates she can create.

Race: Cloned Human-Koronian Hybrid
We all hopefully have at least a basic understanding of what a human is and what they can do that's special. Yeah. Not much. Which isn't really helpful when you're fighting a war against a Galactic alien superpower. Which is where Mira's folk comes in. The Koronians are a microscopic species of aliens known for their remarkable healing factor, rapid growth, and rapid duplication ability. Able to modify their genetic structure at will, the Koronians made for the perfect solution of low manpower combined with the need to create more effective and cheaper soldiers out of even normal children quickly and without error given the large losses Humanity was taking to the Hyperium.
Mira, like others under the MUSE program, is the clone of an unspecified human egg that was introduced to and later fertilized by a Koronian, thus introducing Koronian genes into the to-be child. Essentially, children under the MUSE program were clones of otherwise regular humans with Koronian genes and DNA, thus allowing them to mature significantly faster than regular humans and survive the MUSE serum procedure, given the enhanced cellular regeneration. A MUSE child (enhanced with the serum) that might appear to be 18, like Mira, would actually have the physical capability of a trained adult super soldier to his physical limit, thus matching the strength and aggressive warfare of the Hyperium while staying numerous, cheaper, and equally as effective.

Backstory:
The year was 2060. Humanity and its powerful ally, the Collective, were in the middle of a crisis. An outside threat, the powerful and merciless alien race known as the Hyperium, had made it their goal to invade the Milky Way and utterly destroy everything that the humans and their cybernetic allies had worked hard for decades to build. Just because they were in their way. Countless cities and planets were besieged by the Hyperium, where entire populations were slaughtered like animals amid a vast and brutal war for survival. Despite being, for the most part, outmanned and outgunned, the Collective and humanity fought on. And, for the most part, they seemed to be pushing back the enemy. Not even a year after the war had started, however, it seemed that there was only one big problem left, however. Human soldiers were dropping left and right to the Hyperium, whilst the Collective could simply not afford to lose any more lives. In addition, super powered humans and super soldiers were becoming less of a commonplace on the battlefield and more of a rarity, calling for the human military to find a way to counter these losses rather than sending their ordinary and non-superhuman soldiers out to the slaughter.

The answer lay in the form of the MUSE program. Taking the Koronians - race of microscopic organisms renowned for their regenerative capabilities, quick growth, inter changeable genetic structure, and duplication ability - and introducing them to bond with the cloned fertilized eggs of random individuals, the MUSE Program effectively created quick, cheap, and effective alternative to the existing method of creating super soldiers, which previously featured adults and a super serum. This allowed the military to essentially create cheap super soldiers out of regular children, that matured significantly faster than normal human children while receiving the same level of training as an adult super soldier would. Combined with the serum from existing super soldiers, the MUSE program essentially allowed humanity to grow an army of cloned super soldiers in under a year to combat the growing losses and decrease in super powered fighters. The MUSE program grew in impressive numbers for a year, enough to keep up with the dwindling number of super soldiers and heroes dying on the battlefield.

One such candidate, however, was far more interesting than the others.

Mira-696 was the name and respective designation number given to this child. She was the clone of the to-be child from the fertilized egg of a female human, which was introduced to and bonded with the Koronian genes, thus creating the hybrid child. This was fairly normal for the program, except for the fact that the anonymous mother was a Mover, and an impressive one at that. Because of this, Mira grew up as a test tube baby separate from the others, until she was properly "born" as an already developed and mature child, like the others in the program. The accelerated maturation rate allowed the children under the MUSE program to engage in the same level of training and education as a regular super soldier in the military would, while still receiving a proper education. However, MUSE soldiers weren't meant to act as lone wolves, and, as such, were trained in squads. Squads were meant to act as a collective whole rather than under a leader, meaning that often times conflict arose in the group as to who was right. This changed for Mira's squad, however, during a certain training simulation in preparation for the serum procedure. When the trainees were tasked with finding their way back to the base on a particularly difficult tundra planet, Mira organized a plan to steal one of the parked dropships that was being guarded in a forest as an actual routine patrol, take said dropship, and fly it home, all while managing to learn how to fly it mid process. It was clear to the heads of the program that Mira was something else compared to these soldiers, and had a significant superiority in intelligence, leadership, and combat proficiency compared to the rest. Mira was marveled as a spectacular physical specimen she had grown into. Just under a mere year old, and she already had the body of a teenage Olympic athlete with the mind comparable to any of the humans' best battle tacticians.

After successfully undergoing the serum procedure, the year old Mira was officially promoted to Lieutenant and promptly shipped off to the war, where she and the rest under the program would go on to win countless spectacular battles on the ground. Their physical and mental prowess seemed to outmatch even the toughest of the Hyperium's soldiers. Mira in particular racked up an impressive kill and win count, credited to her Mover heritage and overall prowess on the battlefield. With these victories, it seemed as if humanity was on the path to winning. The only thing was, these were minor victories on the ground compared to the rest of the war, where every victory planetside was a major defeat in orbit. The MUSE soldiers couldn't take their victories into orbit against the Hyperium's ever present fleet, which demolished worlds it conquered and left many of the terraformed and colonized human worlds barren and inhospitable. Finally, after four more years of fighting, Mira, at 5 years old, already realized that this war wasn't going to end in their favor, without a miracle.

The year was 2065. The final, emotional battle of the war was set. In a heroic and last ditch attempt to destroy the Hyperium fleet and send them off once and for all, the combined forces of the Collective and humanity's remaining ships, along with any surviving super soldiers, heroes, and MUSE candidates, launched an attack on the enemy armada's staging area which held its fleet. A whopping 90% of the Hyperium fleet was destroyed that day, at the cost of countless of lives from the human heroes, and collective, and virtually all of its fleet. That one battle was enough to end the war itself, but not for one certain soldier. The entirety of the MUSE program candidates perished that day, all except for one sole survivor: Mira. The battle left Mira emotionally destroyed, shocked, depressed, and even angry at how quickly this one destructive battle not only ended the war and destroyed the enemy, but destroyed Mira's only people she called family, let alone countless lives of supposedly invulnerable superheroes. In addition, said super heroes were now being persecuted by the same people they protected, while the same military she served under for years became eroded away from a lack of leadership, corruption, motivation, and internal strife. Blinded by her hysteria and anger, Lieutenant Mira finally abandoned the already decaying military and went on the run, using a single naval corvette left over from the final battle as her only means of transportation. Hoping to someday end up somewhere where things would be much better than they were now, Mira set the ship adrift in space and put herself into a long, deep sleep in cryogenic stasis, hoping to wake up to a world where all of her troubles would be out of her life once and for all.

The year is now 2083. Unfortunately, only the part where she ended up on a strange new world happened. The Galaxy is still an unstable and dangerous place, save for one of just a few sole planets. Mira awoke to find her ship, operating on its last sliver of power and life support, suddenly orbiting the world of Haven, an aptly named safe haven for people like her, if you would call a corrupt and gang-ridden place like Haven a safe haven at all. Then again, maybe Haven wasn't so bad. Haven attracted people from all walks of life. There was a chance that maybe, just maybe, she could find a batch of heroes or soldiers just like her, willing to come back to active duty and start up a new war to save the galaxy as they knew it. The only thing she needed to solve first? Finding a new squad to lead.

Powers and Abilities:
  • Enhanced Condition: Thanks to years of strenuous physical and mental training, and the subsequent super serum procedure, Mira is at the very peak of her physical and mental capability without it being considered supernatural. Despite in actuality being only 5 years old (technically more due to cryogenic stasis), Mira's accelerated growth and maturity has allowed her to access the peak in her physical growth, and even surpass it. Her mind is also affected by this, as Mira is capable of creating complex battle strategies on her own, all while comprehending problems quicker than most from her trained and enhanced mind and photographic memory. That is not all, however, as Mira's speed and agility abilities particularly are very much supernatural in nature..
  • Supernatural Agility: Mira, as the biological mother to whom she was cloned from was a Mover, retains all the traits found in a mover. This lineage grants her an unprecedented advantage on the battlefield with baffling speed, agility, reaction time, and stamina, well beyond what anyone asked for her in the MUSE program.
    • Inertia and Vector Manipulation: Mira supernatural abilities allows her to improve her own mobility even more, without the use of technology. She does this by altering her own surrounding gravity, and magnitude/direction (vector) of travel, thereby allowing her to pull off maneuvers that most people could only dream of. This means that theoretically, even in a vacuum without any form of maneuvering thrusters or propulsion, Mira is capable of changing direction or stabilizing herself with ease to evade or recover from attacks. By increasing the vector of herself, she is capable of moving faster in any direction of her choosing, therefore increasing her speed. Mira commonly exploits this in a "Dash attack", where she temporarily increases her speed forwards, either slamming into the target in question or using any bladed/blunt weapon of her choice to hit them with it. This can also be used by Mira to gain a height advantage quickly or to open the window for aerial attacks, but is not to be confused with flight.
  • Regenerative healing factor: Thanks to the Koronian genes within her, Mira is capable of regenerating from wounds, trauma, and injury. This is not perfect, nor is it as effective as most regeneration abilities. Mira's regenerative abilities will heal large-scale damage like limb loss or large wounds, only at a severely slower rate than most and in a rather painful fashion. She can heal smaller wounds with ease and fairly quickly, but will need to stay outside of combat and action in order to fully regenerate. Mira's regeneration also provides a resistance, but not an immunity, to toxins/poisons, pathogens/mutagens, and other biological agents.
  • Replication: Like the Koronians, Mira is capable of replicating herself, for a variety of uses. Due to certain limitations with this, she is capable of only replicating herself three times, into three separate individuals. As each of Mira's duplicates share a common intelligence, they are capable of acting simultaneously, either on one task or a variety, such as teaming up on an opponent in a fight or relaying information. Mira's duplicates are unable to travel away from the original Mira in a 100 meter radius, and can be called back in to her body at any moment. Should one die, it will not kill Mira, unless it is, of course, herself who is killed. All pain and damage inflicted on a duplicate is reflected on Mira, though not as severely as herself taking the pain.

Weaknesses:
  • As stated before, Mira's regeneration is not perfect, and will often require more than 30 minutes to heal larger scale wounds or limbs.
  • Any and all damage inflicted on Mira's duplicates is reflected on herself. It should be noted that Mira does feel pain, even if it is somewhat suppressed compared to others.
  • Mira can only use her Inertia or Vector powers on herself, and it can only be used for one action at a time. E.G she can't do maneuver A and immediately transfer to maneuver B without a brief cool down.
  • Mira still can be killed like any regular human if she suffers severe head injury. Head wounds are especially dangerous and take the most time to treat and heal.
  • As stated before, Mira's healing factor provides a resistance, not a total immunity, to chemical, biological, and radiological threats.
  • Mira's weaponry, despite being powered by Collective technology and technically unable to run out of power, will often have to vent heat when fired rapidly, which can lead to a number of issues depending on the situation.
  • Mira's suit prioritizes mobility and stealth in favor of protection, and will only provide the bare minimum of protection to its user, when the user even is wearing the external light armor it comes with optionally.
  • Between other individuals, Mira is stubborn and the quickest to say she is the leader, without confronting others beforehand.
  • Mira must wait between 10 to 30 minutes (1 post) until she is able to replicate herself again. Her duplicates also can only travel 50 meters away from her current position.

Standard Equipment:
Weapons
  • M41X MAWS: The M41X MAWS stands for Modular Assault Weapon System. The electronically-operated weapon uses Collective zero-point technology and a dark matter reactor to power itself, essentially eliminating the need for ammunition altogether. It is fed by rechargeable power packs acting as high capacity magazines, which are commonly powered by solar means in place of bulky rechargeable power pack stations. This weapon is capable of actively extending or shortening its barrel with the user's preference to fulfill a variety of roles for the job, thereby eliminating the need for external attachments. All needed attachments are built in to the rather bulky gun and are designed to "pop out" if needed. This includes a foregrip, bipod, adjusting stock, silencer, or optical sight. This hardy weapon was used by the humans primarily during the war against the Hyperium, but is unusually not a common sight on the black market now as it is being phased out in favor of more advanced weaponry. Though, despite its age, it has proven itself to be a durable weapon for the years to come, and is deadly in the right hands.
Despite its classification as an Assault rifle, the MAWS fires powerful energy projectiles effective against both shields and armor alike, though it is particularly more effective on the former than the latter. Also functions well as a blunt weapon.
  • Modular Grenades: Cycle between frag, flash, smoke, or flare. Can either detonate on contact or be timed to detonate at a certain moment.
  • Combat Knife: Everyone needs one of these.

Equipment
  • Communications Link/Commlink, earpiece
  • Standard issue Tactical Map (TACMAP), tablet variant
  • Standard issue Rangefinding Binoculars
  • Standard issue Survival kit, canteen included
  • Reconnaissance drone, helicopter variant

Apparel
  • Mark 2 Infiltration Suit, Gecko Variant: Using Collective nanotechnology and human biotechnology woven into the suit's fibers, the skin tight Gecko suit is tailored to fit perfectly to the user regardless of their body shape or size, allowing for almost perfect movement for the user while still providing some form of protection. Acting as a "second skin," in a sense, this suit is also biological in nature and is designed to bond to the user's skin, using the same form of regeneration as in the Koronian's case - but with nanomachines - allowing the suit to effectively regenerate itself concurrent to any damage dealt to the body of its user. This also provides the user with a form of quick recovery to wounds, as stated in the following example. If a cut were to appear on the user's arm whilst wearing the suit, the suit's nanomachines would automatically re-seal and repair itself over the wound while the user healed the wound his or herself, whilst providing pressure on the wound to allow the user to heal in the process. Because of its biological and nanomachine nature, the suit essentially 'bonds' with the user upon putting it on. This is especially the case for those under the MUSE program, who often refer to the Gecko suit as his or her "second skin", hence its nickname. Even Mira states that the suit works so well and allows for such easy movement that she sometimes forgets she even has it on at all.
As said before, since the nanomachines and Koronian cells in the suit are meant to bond with the user, Mira's abilities will be compatible with the suit as she replicates her own body. If Mira were to replicate herself with the suit on, her Duplicates would also have the suit on, given that the nanomachines and biotechnology essentially make this an extension of her skin, with the suit being registered as part of her body.
The suit's healing factor does not that mean the user is fully invulnerable, though. As it prioritizes stealth and movement over protection, the suit is built to provide at least basic protection to its user by causing the nanomachines to absorb the impact or harden on impact of incoming damage, but collapse to more powerful force. Effectively, this makes the suit a bulletproof vest, that has a 50/50 chance of blocking the bullet or failing to do so. And since it is not equipped with a shield generator, it generally cannot sustain as much damage as more heavier armor can.
The Gecko suit, while it is normally gray and black in color, may change its color or add an additional camouflage pattern to itself, based on the surroundings, acting as a sort of conventional adaptive camouflage. This is optional, but most MUSE soldiers use this. Additionally, the suit comes with a standard issued external green "Flak armor" that is optional to have on (as seen on the Mira duplicates to the front and back of Mira), which, at the cost of mobility, provides significantly superior protection to damage and particularly explosions, while still maintaining its regenerative capabilities. The suit is also built, as all stealth suits are, to minimalize the thermal and infrared signature of those who wear it, otherwise showing up as invisible on radar or to thermal/IR optics, as well as dampening the sound of noise and footsteps made from the user. This is so effective that a soldier wearing a Gecko suit can not be detected by hostile from less than 5 meters away.
  • The Gecko suit can be removed, optionally. It also is compatible with most military pack gear of the time, such as combat rigs, backpacks, and such, without providing extra weight to the user. Mira notably has brought along a few of these pack items, along with a MUSE program cap.

Name/Alias: Jacqueline Lafayette ("Jack" ; "Mistress")

Gender: Female.

Age: 34.

Appearance: Here, except her eyes glow a bright intense green thanks to cybernetics.

Race: Human.

Backstory: Jacqueline Lafayette was born on some backwater world that was not very well known. Her parents knew she was different when she was born; she always seemed to... know things. Know things she shouldn't know. When she was five, she began repeating the things her parents thought back to them. And that's when they knew, she was a telepath. But it wasn't just telepathy. As time went on, as they tried to raise their little girl, they noticed that... as she aged, the telepathy seemed to go both ways. Not only that, but the telepathy seemed a bit almost... commanding. Over time, it was harder and harder for her parents to disobey her thought-commands. Eventually, it got to the point where her parents did her every bidding and wish. Jacqueline did not mind this; she liked her power and control.

Eventually, Jacqueline killed her parents. Or, more accurately, her father committed a murder-suicide at her... suggestion. Jacqueline went on as a homeless runaway; carefree, and rather volatile. She loved the feel of danger, but also liked controlling and manipulating people. It was not uncommon for her, in her late teens, to manipulate her way up the food chain of various gangs, taking them over, before getting bored and then killing them all. As Jacqueline aged, she began calling herself 'Jack'. To the underworld, 'Jack' - also known as 'the Mistress' - was an enigma. Rumors had spread along the underworld that, if you met her in person, she could make you do whatever she wanted. Which was a half-truth. As Jack grew stronger and stronger with her powers, she began forming her own criminal empire of sorts. Or, rather; not a criminal empire so much as a one-woman army.

She'd use thugs and gangsters to rob banks or cruise ships. She'd often more than not kill people to make examples of them. She became feared among many of the gangs in the underworld. And that's why, in many gangs, it is simply now standard policy to just give Jack whatever she wants and hope she doesn't take the thugs she's confronted with for a joyride on some crazy, terror-inducing attack on some cruise ship. Hell, Jack has even commandeered Pirates of their own loot and ships. Jack is feared, certainly. No one dares to question her if she arrives, other than to ask for what she wants. At least, for most established pirate clans and gangs and such. Fresh blood isn't as smart, unfortunately; which Jack loves. It means more fun for her. Jack currently has her sights set on perhaps actually taking control of her own gang or pirate clan, and this time, maybe she'll expand.

Powers and Abilities:
  • Telepathy: Jack can read the minds of others within the same room as her, and can sense minds much further than that. She can also speak in the minds of those in the same room as her. Unless the room is sufficiently large; then the range at which she can read and communicate with other minds ranges from 20-23 meters.
  • Psychokinesis (also called 'Mind Control'): Jack can break down the will of others and control minds. Now, this works at variable degrees. For instance, if she's mind controlling someone who is extremely strong willed and stubborn, depending on just how strong willed and stubborn the person is, she may experience an out of body experience due to the concentration and power required; thus, she may end up 'inside' the other person's mind/body almost completely just to take control.

However, for weak willed, unintelligent, or otherwise generally easy to manipulate people, Jack can control their minds more easily; sometimes as easily as a puppetmaster might manipulate a hand-puppet. If she doesn't want to directly control people, however, then at those same variable degrees, she can use it to a lesser degree - sort of 'indoctrinating' a person using suggestion and persuasion, as well as lightly poking their minds in the right direction to convince them she's right. This indoctrination effect takes variable amounts of time. Although, for people who she can or has directly mind controlled (easily), her indoctrination effect is almost immediate if she relinquishes control to allow herself to focus on whatever she's doing at that moment.

Weaknesses:
  • Only Human: Despite her powers, Jack is only human and cannot stop bullets or anything of that like. Okay, well, maybe she can suggest to people who are with her that shooting her is a bad idea and convince them not to, but if someone took a shot at her with a sniper and it was lethal... yeah, she's probably dead.
  • Variable Effectiveness: As pointed out above, Jack's powers don't work outside of a certain range other than generally sensing minds. Not to mention the variability of how effective her mind control is.

Standard Equipment: Jack is usually seen with a plasma pistol of some sort.

Classification: TBD.

Optional stuff

Theme song: You're Mine by Disturbed. (The song fits in that anyone she wants to be hers or views as belonging to her will usually end up being so if she's around them for long enough.)

Random Facts about your character: Jack's a born psychopath, in case you didn't catch it. She has no empathy, sympathy or remorse for anything she does. She also tends to be quite heartless. (Although, that doesn't mean she won't "enjoy herself" when she can.)

Tropes: Mind Manipulation/Control that uses More Than Mind Control methods at times, to essentially indoctrinate someone to believe they want, with all their being, to serve Jack, even when she isn't directly controlling them.

Name/Alias: Germayne Lockjaw

Gender: Male

Age: 58

Appearance(Pics are fine, include costume if needed!):
Image

Race: Human

Backstory:
Germayne was born on a colony on the outer edge of the human's empire. His father was an engineer for the human military, designing weaponry and ships for the empire, and early on taught Germayne the ways of engineering and building. However, where his father was skilled, Germayne was masterful. He built his first engine at the age of 7, and his first vehicle from scratch at the age of 10. However, in both cases, they broke a week later. When the war with the Hyperium broke out, he put his services to use with the Human Empire's navy, designing ships and weaponry which, after some tweaks by other engineers to prevent them from failing, would become somewhat crucial to winning the war.

After the war concluded, Germayne found his home on Haven, living in seclusion and building various weapons and vehicles, including his turbodiesel power suit.

Powers and Abilities:
Flawed Master Mechanical Engineer: Basically he can create anything out of anything. He can turn lead pipes into a gatling cannon, he can turn fridge magnets into a high powered railgun. He can turn some cans and sheet metal into a turbodiesel powered super suit. However, everyone of his creations is fatally flawed in longevity, meaning after high use it will inevitably break itself, often at the least opportune moments. This can range from a single component failing to total operational failure.

Weaknesses:
- Equipment Breaking
- He's only human
- He's not the most mentally stable

Standard Equipment:
25,000 HP Turbodiesel Power Armor
Runs off a back mounted quadturbo 10.6L V12 diesel engine modeled after Ford's 7.3L Powerstroke, utilizing HEUI hydraulic oil fuel injection system. It puts out 25,000 horsepower at 5000 RPM (13,750,000 foot lbs of force per second). The driveshaft extends to the arms and legs utilizing omnidirectional universal joints and torque direction converters at the midsection and shoulders, allowing for the arms and legs to move in different directions. Hydraulic oil pressure allows for the movement of the head, hands and feet. When running or jumping, the two additional turbos will kick in, allowing for 50,000 horsepower impacts and attacks. Exhaust valves on the shoulder provide back pressure for the engine to compress fuel for combustion. The suit carries with it a 100 gallon fuel tank mounted in between the back and the engine, as well as around the sides of the engine. It sounds like this.

This is his main piece of equipment but it can vary with situation.

New Rob Halfordia wrote:Name/Alias: Germayne Lockjaw

Gender: Male

Age: 58

Appearance(Pics are fine, include costume if needed!):

Race: Human
