The Sims: Moonlight Falls (OOC and Sign Up)

Postby Harbertia » Fri Apr 14, 2017 10:17 pm

IC LINK

RP Takes Place some time after Sims 3 and 2, and from the look of Maxis it doesn't seem like the series wll get a fifth installment. So we'll do what we want with this.

Looking for Ops (of other threads), Co-Ops, and Officers- I do have a network being set up so I do not think I can handle each of the RPs. I need individuals willing to assist in this as well as keeping the world fresh and inviting.

The Sims: Moonlight Falls

=LOCATIONS IN THE SIMS FORUM RPG NETWORK=
The Network is a Work in Progress
Belladonna Cove - Bridgeport - Dragon Valley - Isla Paradiso - Magic Town - Monte Vista - Moonlight Falls - Pleasentview - Strangetown - Sunset Valley
Universities: Académie Le Tour (French University with World Renown) - Betatown (Home of the Betatown Broncos) - La Fiesta Tech - Sim State University (Home of the Fighting Llamas) - Sims University (Home of the Llamas)
Alternate Realities and Time Periods: Early 20th Century (Bridgeport Noir) - Dystopian Future (Oasis Landing) - Neutral Future (Oasis Landing & Lunar Lakes) - Utopian Future (Oasis Landing)

Government: Welcome to the Commonwealth
Image
As with the rest of the world Moonlight Falls is under SimNation, however it is also it's own domain. The Commonwealth has recognized nobility and an elected assembly serving as it's government. It has a House of Lords and House of Commons with an elected mediator presiding over the assembly. This President of the Assembly is the de facto head of state at present though full executive power may rest else where....

The Commonwealth would like to remind it's citizens that SimNation offers an Undead Scholarship for those seeking higher levels of Education. This scholarship is available to Vampires, and Zombies. SimNation is still involved in the case of Specter vs The State and until this case is resolved Ghosts are not able to apply for this scholarship- being dead.

The Commonwealth would also like to make it well known that Ghost Hunters are NOT welcomed here! - though as per SimNation resolutions we can't legally prevent you from practicing here though we very much like our ancestors right here right next to us.

Locations of Interest
  • Commonwealth Court (Seat of Power in Moonlight Falls, is Military command, Police Headquarters, and Political center)
  • Everglow Academy and Coliseum (Public School and Sports Center)
  • Blooms Institute of Wellness (Science Center and Hospital)
  • Mind-Body Connections Bookstore and Spa (Bookstore and Spa)

Organizations
President: Ayden Van Gould
Mission:

Lore
(will work on the IC version of this but here is the summary; Moonlight Falls was established with the finances of the Van Gould family. The Van Gould being Vampires live for a long time. The chief labor involved in establishing the town came from the Wolff family who being Werewolves are incredibly strong. It was a Witch of the Crumplebottom line that negotiated with the local Fairy population for the use of the land. In recent years the Wolff family has fallen from the aristocracy and become some of the poorer members of the society, and reside in the trailers on the outskirts of town. They currently have no seat in the Assembly and resent this to a degree. As for the Crumplebottoms they've been content to 'watch from the side lines' and 'advise' where needed. Moonlight Falls has been since it's founding a valley refuge for all three; Vampires, Werewolves, and Witches- though since joining SimNation they've had to open Moonlight Falls to outsiders- which has brought with it some individuals that may not be welcomed; a few find a place, others are chosen for a place- and a few leave after the first month. Tension between the Normal and Supernatural population is a matter of concern that the Commonwealth hopes to overcome)

Hauntings are common in Moonlight Falls.

Werewolves where the first outsiders (as far as the native Fae folk are concerned) to have set foot in Moonlight Falls. They explored and pioneered the land which the Vampires, chiefly the Van Gould family, developed. This has caused some friction between the two groups as certain Werewolves feel their role in founding the town understated. -WIP-

Witches are individuals born with the capacity to cast spells. Magic tends to be in two categories; White and Black magic or Good and Evil as some see it. White Magic includes Charms and generally benefit ones self or others while Black Magic involves Curses, Hexes, and generally harm others. In Moonlight Falls their is one name to remember when it comes to Magic; Crumplebottom. They are the most influential of Witches in the commonwealth and hold historical importance. Any other Witch active in town would do wise to stay on good terms with this family.

Familiars
Witches have a special closeness to their pets (their spell casting is more potent when around cats, newts, snakes, toads, and small pets in general). The most popular choice among them are Felines as Felines are capable of gathering magical reagents and ingredients on demand. Additionally cats can more easily pass beyond the barrier of Death and into the world of the living.

Witches have the following pet related spells they can perform;
  • A Friend Indeed - Target animal instantly becomes the caster's friend. This is usually used to recruit Familiars.
  • Summon Spectral Familiar - If a cat dies while good friends of a Witch the Witch can summon the cat's ghost to their side. Like all ghosts this cat has an array of ghostly powers in addition to the skills it learned in life. The Spectral Cat will fade back to the Neitherworld when it feels like doing so or can be dismissed by the summoner. Unlike living cats Spectral Cats can hunt for Lesser Spirits which are used in the crafting of Skeletons.

List of Spells and their Guidelines
Do note that excessive use of Black Magic can lead to physical corruption resulting in green skin and a large nose. Excessive use of Toads may result in warts.

Novice Spells
  • Aqua Deletus - Remove Puddles from the lot.
  • Conjure Apple - This is a basic spell typically categorized as White magic since it provides food. However this spell has a corrupted form that falls into the category of Black Magic.
    • Conjure Poison Apple - This basic spell conjures a poison apple which will cause sickness in any who consume it.
  • Folium Deletus - Removes fallen leaves from the lot.
  • Fire Blast
  • Ice Blast

Apprentice
  • Tabula Rasa - Black Magic - Erase a Sims memories and reset their relationship status. They'll remember their name, and their relatives names, but not getting married, meeting a Witch for the first time, getting a promotion at work, seeing their son walk for the fist time- sure if they are married they'll still be married but they'll have to learn to love their spouse again. The lose caused by this spell is greatly personal.

Journeyman
  • Purgomagus - Dispel a Magical effect from a Magical upgrade, a charm, or on going magical effect.

Master
  • Expello Mortis - White Magic - Dismiss the Grim Reaper thus saving a Sims life.
  • Magus Mutatio - Neutral - The target Human becomes a Witch.
  • Tempus Interruptus - Neutral - Everyone but Witches and Spectral Cats summoned by a Witch freeze, as does any thing being cooked, or thrown. Time simply stops. This can be canceled by any Witch via Purgomagus.

Charms
Charms are magical objects such as a necklace, coin, ring, or bracelet that when activated has a magical effect though typically for one use- especially if the object has to be broken.
  • Beauty or Beast? - Made with ... - This type of charm typically has two figures, heads, or images on it. One is lovely the other beastly. When used this Charm will either turn the user into something beautiful such as an Elf or Nymph or into something horrifying such as a Werewolf or Crone. The effect is random and unfortunately has another effect in that those who see the transformation caused by this object, and are not Witches themselves, will have a Donkey head. The effect is only temporary, lasting either till midnight or the light of the full moon.
  • Dish Wish - Made With ... - This charming little kitchen scrub is ready to serve. When activated it'll clean all the dishes on the lot, but be warned. This little guy will freak out if activated around clean dishes and might go around making them dirty just to clean them- but will get tired and rest before doing so leaving you with a lot of dirty dishes laying around.

Compendium of Curses
The Compendium of Curses is a Book available readily at the Mind-Body Connections Bookstore and Spa here in Moonlight Falls. The book contains all known curses and their counters. It's typically thought of as a book of Black Magic by those who don't understand the benefit of knowing how to counter a curse.
  • Lesser Toadification - Only Works on Human Adults - Lesser Toadification is a curse that turns the target into something that is half human and half toad. The effect lasts indefinitely but can be cured with a special kiss, any Generic Cure Elixir, or a Sunlight Charm. Humans effected by this curse look like anthropomorphic toads and frequently sait their hunger by catching nearby insects with their toad tongue. One should be warned about curing this curse via a kiss as their is a small chance that if the kisser is for some reason attracted physically to the toad person that they'll become a toad person. The kiss cure is best utilized by those who love the individual for their personality and sincerely wants to help them remove the curse.
    • Greater Toadification - Only Works on Human Adults - Requires Butter, Any Toadstool, and Toadsweat - Greater Toadification is a curse that the caster can even bestow upon themselves. It's a great way to get around a pond or watch some folk unnoticed but also a bit risky- thankfully one afflicted by this curse can speak. Greater Toadification turns the target completely into a toad- a real toad. As before the curse can be lifted by a kiss but unlike the lesser can not be cured any other way. Thankfully the curse is temporary- unfortunately for the target certain evil witches use this spell to quickly acquire toads for the purpose of cauldron magic. The effects should wear off in twelve hours.

Rituals
Rituals require more then one individual to be involved and that those individuals be present around a specific object.
  • Bewitching Rain - In Moonlight Falls the 'Weather Stone' is such an object. The 'Bewitching Rain' ritual can be performed here and compels any Human (and to a lesser extent none Witch) to do the rain dance. Rain will come to Moonlight Falls shortly after the ritual is performed. The Ritual requires at least one Witch (to cast the ritual on the stone) and at least two other person (usually these are Witches as well) to perform the Rain Dance.
  • Beautificus Locus - Novices can complete this Ritual - This ritual also calls for the Weatherstone and dancing- it brings about a Sunny Day.
  • Reanimation Ritual - Mastery of Spellcraft - Reanimtion Rituals are used to bring another individual back as a Zombie and requires that one be at the individual's Tombstone. The participants are the caster and the soon to be somewhat alive individual. The Zombie however, and this is important to note, will not be loyal to the spellcaster.

Wands and other Magical Implements
Cauldron - The Cauldron can be used to craft magical items.
Wand -

Image
In Moonlight Falls the aristocracy consists largely but not exclusively of Vampires. These individuals provided the financial backing for the settlement and most have been around since the founding making them older then other residents. In Moonlight Falls Vampires of various ranks reside with Fledglings and Minor Vampires being the most common.

Fledglings
Fledglings are the what Humans start out as after being Turned via a bite on the neck (as oppossed to a bite on the forearm which is used for feeding). It is also what Newborn Vampire start out as.
Image
  • No Sunlight weakness and a relatively Human appearance save for Fangs and slightly glowing eyes.
  • Can Feed from other Sims, Plasma Fruit, Plasma Juice Packs, or Plasma Nectar (assuming they are mature enough for the latter).
  • Garlic is Physically Repulsive - Garlic is certain Death to a Fledgling who consumes it. They can not feed in the same room as Garlic and tend to avoid such rooms entirely as well as those persons who have recently consumed Garlic.
  • Cure: 3000 Simoleons and the Hospital will cure you, but they can't help you if you advance into a Minor Vampire.

Minor
  • Supernatural Speed - The ability to Vampire Run at amazing speeds.
  • Hypnotic Gaze - A Minor Vampire can compel another individual to do something but only if that something is a thing the individual would willingly do; just like other forms of Hypnosis one can not have an individual jump into a fire or fight with their best friend unless it's something such a person would do.
  • The Power to Turn - Minor Vampires and up have the ability to turn others into Vampires via a bite on the Neck.
  • Garlic is Poison - Vampires can not feed in a room where Garlic is present and will likely (but not assuredly) die from consuming.
  • Sunlight Weakness - Minor Vampires loose their Vampire Powers in sunlight, and can pass out if exposed to it for 8 hours.
  • New Cure: Potent Cure Potion - This magical elixer created by Alchemy will cure Minor and Fledgling Vampires of their condition.

Prime
  • Cast Hallucination - Primes can make another sim converse to an imaginary figure. Others can see the person just talking to themselves.
  • Command - Similiar to the previous Hypnosis power but more potent, as Primes can have an individual do one task from converse with another to unlocking a door regardless of the individuals will. Such effect is not remembered by the one performing the task.
  • Detect Personality - Primes can read another person's subliminal thoughts and interpret them as personality traits.
  • Garlic is Sickening - Consuming Garlic will result in sickness, and one can not feed in a room where Garlic is present.
  • New Cure: Vampacilon-D ; this Drug is capable of curing Master and Prime Vampires. It's too strong for use by Fledglings and Minor Vampires.

Master
  • Bat Form - Take on the form of a great Vampire Bat for fast travel and sneaky stalking.
  • Mist Form - Masters can become like Mist and seep under locked doors and through vents.
  • We Hate the Sun - Master and Grand Vampires can die from exposure to the Sun. Masters take longer to burn up then Grand Vampires do.
  • Garlic is Unpleasant - Master Vampires can't feed in the same room that Garlic is present or from an individual who has recently eaten Garlic. But are no longer sickened by it.

Grand
Grand Vampires are the most experienced and eldest of Vampires.
Image
  • Immortality - Grand Vampires stop aging.
  • Dark Form - Grand Vampires have become more inhuman in appearance and thus relying on an alternate human form to conceal their true selves or rather to make those near them feel more at ease.
  • As if Garlic will Stop Me - Grand Vampires are immune to the effects of Garlic. They are able to feed in a room where Garlic is present and if you made armor out of Garlic they'd bite through that.
  • New Cure: Grand Vampires can only be cured via an 'Ultimate Vampire Cure' which only they know the secret to creating. This cure also works on any other Vampire type.

Uncommon Sim Types
Aliens who decide to drop in for a visit on Moonlight Falls can expect to witness the stranger side of Earth's population. Aliens can expect to find that Vampires are 'almost' a match for them in mental power, and also that Werewolves may be offended if you choose to examine them. Over all caution is suggested.

Mermaids moving into Moonlight falls would do well to know where the beach front is and that the Beach remains largely unattended. It's not the sunny beaches of Isla Paradiso or Sunlit Tides but it's the only source of Salt Water for miles. The Beach however is more active on nights of the Full Moon with Young Adults frequently hosting Bon Fires- these Young Adults are pretty rowdy but what can one expect from Supernaturals- just be sure to keep an eye out for Zombies as they do at times emerge onto the beach. It's worth note that a Pool and pond also exist to keep one hydrated and the indoor public pool can be a great place to meet the locals.

Residents

Tourists
Supernatural Fans from all over SimNation are known to flock to Moonlight Falls for the chance of meeting or even romancing a Supernatural- most of these tourist stay for three days around the Full Moon before returning to their hometown while others stay forever. Supernatural Skeptics are notably less likely to visit the town believing perhaps that most of the attractions are staged.

Sites of Interest to Tourist include;
  • Fae Ray Gardens and the Arboretum - Do fairies exist? Do you want to find out?
  • Gypsy's Landing - Palm Readings and more!
  • Red Velvet Lounge - For those seeking a bite out of life!
  • Stone Troll Fishing Hole - Marvel at a real to life solidified Stone Troll!
  • Zoomsweeper Test Track - Marvel at Arial acrobatics performed on a broom!

Before you move out of town....
Moonlight Falls is a special place where Alchemy and various supernaturals are welcomed and accepted. Unless one really does want to 'vatch the kids on the beach in Isla Paradiso' for more then just a vacation, one should think really hard about where you want to move. Here are some suggestions;
  • Bridgeport (has an Urban Vampire population, Elvira Slayer is the oldest Vampire in the city and it's Empress of the Night- as such any Vampires moving to Bridgeport will do well to avoid crossing her as the city has been deemed her territory)
  • Dragon Valley (a magical place inhabited by Elves that may have a place for an individual like you- assuming you can find it's location on a map. It's certainly welcoming of Fairies though wolves are a tad infamous in the region.)
  • Magic Town (has a Fairy and Vampire presence)
  • Sunset Valley (the Crumplebottoms and Wolffs have relatives here)

Special Workshop
Skeleton Lore:
Image
Not much on lore on skeletons, though they are likely created via a curse or some kind of magic. Makes sense considering most are purchasable to work as janitors or maids, effectively they are the supernatural version of as plumbot or simbot. They are more akin to something like a golem made of bones as opposed to an outright undead. Bonehilda being a prime example and their are many of her which seem to indicate some kind of 'Undead Servant Industry' resembling Plumbot creation. That being said, they can indeed communicate with ghosts that have already passed. If they have access to a dead persons remains, then they may be the only sim-race that can effectively "summon" a ghost by convincing them to come back (besides the Reaper, who can do it at will). They can not reproduce themselves, beings as they lack organs of any kind. They are created using Lesser Spirits which act like Plumbot Trait chips to a degree.

I am quite interested, though I don't know much about the lore that comes with these games.

So will this be a Slice of Life type RP?

Most likely (and indeed desired) though due to the towns population conflict and thus Drama will inevitably emerge. I shall provide you with some lore soon. The first aspect to address is the population of Humans, Vampires, werewolves, witches, and... *I don't like this part* Fairies....

Any of those interest you?

I've added a poll to the thread. I was simply going to create an amalgamation of the Vampires in the series but developed a conflict when it came to 'Grand Vampires' in Sims 2 and the presence of Countess Snyde - I got conflicted over something I'm finding hard to explain and thus I have posted this poll to focus my efforts in a way that will please those who are interested in the RP.

Lets not forget mermaids, mummys, zombies, skeletons, genies, sasquatch/bigfeet, plumbots, simbots, plantsims, ghosts, aliens, & maybe garden gnomes if you count them. Sims is a pretty strange setting; you have a modern setting with aspects of advanced tech and time travel paired with ancient enchanted items and outright magic.

To answer your question
I have no problem with the above "races", though I'd likely just start as a regular Sim(s). Though I'd likely take advantage of the various metals and gems found in the setting and start as a jeweler. Well, that or just make nectar via the various fruits.

Honestly, I was about to suggestion you just make it an amalgamation of all the Vampires. Since I'm the only one voting at the moment, best not to use my single vote on this matter. That and I never got around to playing Sims 4 because of all the politics surround its development and release, so you'll have to inform me about how they conflict.

I've been looking for a supernatural Sims RP, I'm in!
Uru, Queen of Diamonds.
The Diamond card suit represents fire, strength and power. Sister of the Queen of Hearts, Queen of Spades and the Queen of Clubs.

Such is acceptable, perhaps your character is staying with some uncle or other relative?

I believe your character being a Human Jeweler with a hobby for fine Nectar is interesting.

Like you I have not played Sims 4- for the same reasons and also for seeing it as a downgrade due tot he removal of moodlets.

However I've been using the wiki to obtain knowledge of Sims 4. Today I purchase The Sims 3: Seasons expansion. I still have no intention of buying Sims 4.
---
It is indeed possible for me to create a single Amalgamation of the Vampires- but I ran into conflict concerning the Sunlight Vulnerability and physical appearance;

Sims 2 - Vampires can die from exposure to the Sun. They tend to have pale or grey skin and red eyes. (They are based on Dracula and Nosferatu).
Sims 3 - Vampires loose their Vampire powers in the Sun and glow slightly (they are based on True Blood and Twilight Vampires). Their eyes glow but their skin is relatively Human.
Sims 4 - Vampires have different levels of Sunlight vulnerability depending on their rank (Vampire Skill Level)- Fledglings simply have their power levels drained while Grand Masters will burn to death (They are a combination of the Sims 2 and 3 Vampires but have a true Vampire form, at least the more powerful ones do, this form is that of Nosferatu). Fledglings are more human in appearance while the high ranking Vampires are less Human and rely on a Human disguise to conceal their true appearance.

Having written it out like this I can see that If I adopt the rank system from Sims 4 I pretty much have the solution since in the Vampires of Sims 2 are very much like the Grand Vampires of Sims 4 and the lower level vampires of Sims 4 are a lot like those of Sims 3. This is why the option concerning an Amalgamation with ranking exists in the poll.

Assuming you have read this, and are still confident in an Amalgamation, I will end the poll and begin focusing on the solution described in Option Two. If you want however I shall go with the most popular option, which may cause (in my mind) unnecessary chaos via diversity.

Edit: Also I forgot about Ghosts and Skeletons- I'll need to write for those as well.

An Overview of what a rank based Amalgamation might look like;

Unless cancelled by another effect the attributes of the previous rank are maintained.

Fledglings
Fledglings are the what Humans start out as after being Turned via a bite on the neck (as oppossed to a bite on the forearm which is used for feeding.
  • Garlic is Unpleasant - Fledglings are only mildly annoyed by Garlic but it causes them no harm beyond the psychological.

Minor
  • Supernatural Speed - The ability to Vampire Run as amazing speeds.
  • Garlic is Repulsive - Vampires can not feed in a room where Garlic is present.
  • Sunlight Weakness - Minor Vampires loose their Vampire Powers in sunlight, and can pass out if exposed to it for 8 hours.

They are able to feed in a room where Garlic is present.
  • New Cure: Grand Vampires can only be cured via an 'Ultimate Vampire Cure' which only they know the secret to creating. This cure also works on any other Vampire type.

*This could be taken as an Example but I'd like to think of this as the character I'll be playing. I'll certainly be managing some NPCs of course, and this will likely be my character. If this isn't my character then mine will likely end up being a Human who has recently moved into a trailer outside of town.

Household Application
***More then one player can be involved in a household so if you have a friend feel free to invite them***
Household Description: What's a young graduate of Sims State University who has a fascination with the Supernatural and her own Galaxa Space Car and a need to explore going to do with her new ride? Go to Moonlight Falls of course!
Head of Household's Full Name: Galaxia Jones
Gender: Female
Type: Alien (Hybrid)
Appearance:
Image
Traits: Childish, Supernatural Fan, Excitable*, Genius*, and Adventurous
Favorites: Electronica, the Color Yellow, and Lobster.
Education: Sims State University (Majored in Biology)
Biography: Galaxia's sire is unknown to her but the one who gave birth to her was Robert Jones who initially dumped responsibility for Galaxia upon his sister Patricia Jones. Robert continues to see the experience as embarrassing and has at large avoided Galaxia when possible. As such Galaxia has known Patricia Jones as a parent, though in a none biological fashion. Galaxia's interest in the Supernatural likely emerged during her childhood where she acquired a fascination in 'Half Elves' and from there further interests blossomed. She use to believe she came from the Moon of all places. This belief began to fade as she got older but her interest in Fantasy and it's various species remained. This prompted her desire to major in Biology. After Graduation she was visited by her Alien Aunt who desired that she come to the Homeworld- this aunt has been persistently gifting her with items associated with her people in the hopes that Galaxia will come with her some day- the car being one of the gifts. Galaxia however has always known Earth and feels that their is so much more to be discovered, part of her longs for the Homeworld while another holds an attachment to the Earth. She's taken a trip to Moonlight Falls as a 'field study' that she hopes will prompt her to either stay or go with her Aunt to the Homeworld. But her mind is fickle and difficult to focus- sometimes she feels like either her thoughts or emotions are clouding her sense of direction. At least for the moment she's gotten away from her family and found a quite mountain town to gather her thoughts in.

Keeping this alive. I desire an aid capable of working to complete details for the RP. I can certainly get this RP going now but I do want things be detailed for those coming into the RP. You could even start your own thread if you like; though- if you want an assignment- Werewolves. Could you work on Werewolves as I'm currently focused on the Vampires.

If not, then perhaps a comment on the comment before the alien post. The Amalgamation Vampire- how does it look?

I know my sim path in life now.

Changed my vote to Amalgamation, this is likely the best route. The bloodline thing is interesting, but what happens if two vampires breed children? So, best to just have one bloodline which is a mix of abit of everything. Anyway, the only change I'd make is turn Garlic into the reverse of Sunlight. Just as a vampire gets weaker to sunlight, they become more resistant garlic.
Fledglings - Garlic is Physically Repulsive (+Death assured)
Minor - Garlic is Poison (+Death likely)
Prime - Garlic is Sickening (+Death unlikely)
Master - Garlic is Unpleasant (+Cannot be killed, but cannot feed near/next to it or after eating it)
Grand - Garlic has no affect (+Can pretty much bite through garlic armor to get as some blood)

Not done with the app yet Harb, I'll add the bios as soon as I can.

Household Application
***More then one player can be involved in a household so if you have a friend feel free to invite them***
Household Description: One wizard, five very different rowdy young witches, one crazy but loving ghost who pops in occassionally, the Teagan household can best be described as big. Big personalities, big magic, big house, big events, big emotions, they do everything big. When a big tragedy however strikes this close knit but noisy family, the wizard Adrian Teagan is left to raise his five daughters all on his own. With everyone's emotions on overdrive, will this family be drawn closer together or will they fall apart in a big bang sort of way?
Head of Household's Full Name: Adrian Drusus Teagan
Gender: Male
Type: Wizard (male witch)
Appearance: (red hair)Image
Traits:
Favorites: (music and color for example, you can fill it out as you please)
Education:
Biography: Adrian is the eldest of three sons born to George and Hortensia Teagan, both of his parents are a witch and a wizard.
--Copy the bottom for all other members of the household--

Name: Arsinoë Teagan
Gender:
Type:
Appearance: Image
Traits: Bookworm, Genius, Loner, Family-Oriented
Favorites: Dark Wave, Blue, Fried Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich
Biography: Arsinoë is the oldest daughter of Adrian and Rose Teagan, and has grown up in Moonlight Falls her whole life. Although she has visited her father's old stomping ground of Midnight Hollow, where her grandparents live. Magic has a long history in the Teagan family, witches having been in this family for over a thousand years. They say that magic first came into the line when Eugenia Crumplebottom married Seamus Teagan, and it all went from there. Ari, as she's nicknamed cares deeply for her family but like any teenage girl likes her privacy and likes chilling in her room alone, usually holed up studying spells or reading her favorite book Bells in the Fog, which she considers very good for written by a human. Magic is integral to the lives of this family, and Arsinoe's fondest memories include studying spells with her sisters and both her parents, her father teaching her how to duel and broom flying lessons with her mother. She doesn't use magic to do chores much herself however, as she doesn't want to seem as lazy, like her sisters who use magic all the time. She's not ashamed of her power by a long shot though. However traditional they are, they're not so secluded from the times and they do have modern tech in their home...which now no longer seems like a good thing since her mother Rose died from an electric shock trying to fix their dishwasher. The loss has been devastating for them all, however Arsinoë as the oldest was probably closest to her mom and the experience has made her more sullen and withdrawn than her usual carefree self. She's become even more a loner even though she knows they should be sticking together. She's used magic more since her mother's death and avoids most technology like the plague, and constantly thinks about begging her father to uninstall all electricity from the house since she doesn't want to lose him as well.
Player: (Leave blank if you or put the players account name if not you)

Name: Arya Teagan
Gender: Female
Type: Witch
Appearance: Image
Traits: Ambitious, Family-Oriented, Genius, Green Thumb
Favorites: Pop, Pink, Spaghetti with meat sauce
Biography: Arya Rose Teagan is a witch in every sense of the world, from pointy hats to spells, she loves it all. Magic is in her blood and she embraces it wholeheartedly, as hard as she embraces her equally magic obsessed family. She has no shame in who she is, as the second of five daughters she knows in a big family, and in a big magical family especially that the weak do not survive. Ever since the tragic passing of her mother, Arya and her sisters have been raised solely by their father. Even though she loved and misses her mother dearly, Arya is a huge Daddy's girl and has always been very close to Adrian. She often consoles him and helps around the house with chores and things, her sisters have mostly followed her lead especially the little ones with helping with housework. Her ambition is to become the greatest witch there ever was, and make her family proud.
Player: (Leave blank if you or put the players account name if not you)

Name: Anne Teagan
Gender: Female
Type: Witch
Appearance: Image
Traits: Brave, Daredevil, Family-Oriented, Flirty
Favorites:
Biography: The fiery redheaded Anne is as vibrant and temperamental as her hair color, even though she's the third oldest she'll sometimes act like the big sister of the family, especially if any of her sisters are threatened she will spring into action and is the girl most quick to anger and fighting. She's in her last year of middle school and even though she may dress more dark and goth than her sisters, she doesn't act like a goth. Especially with her penchant for doing stunts, she's on her school sports team and is known as the Red Dread due to her daredevil streak and willingness to try new moves. With her they've almost never lost a game. Anne can often be seen stunt flying her broom around town or doing some other crazy extreme thing. An explorer above all else, Anne believes that there's so much to explore, both in the supernatural and mundane worlds and hopes to travel the world seeing it all. She's also fascinated with aliens, and thinks that they're super cool. Maybe one day she'll find a spell or magical means of visiting the alien Homeworld, or build a space shuttle so she can travel the galaxy. Basically she wants to go and do what nobody has done before in all fields, if it hasn't been tried she wants to try it.

I appologize for the delayed response hahaha I was updating information on Vampires. I like that you've gone for a large household as such is quite the challenge but I mostly like the situation's comedic and or dramatic potential. I'm curious as to what role the ghost will play and also if Adrian can keep himself together ahhahaah XD

Shadowwell wrote:Do you want me to follow the sims or traditional lore more?

If you can link aspects from the Sims to traditional lore I'd be pleased though one's focus should be on the Sims. You'll find that Werewolves have come in different forms in the series. Do try to have Sims as the focal point of your project BUT don't be afraid to use traditional lore as filler or to add flavor. The Werewolves of Sims 3 are akin to those of the Teen Wolf animated series while those of Sims 2 are more traditional in style. As has been done with Vampires you will likely have to create an amalgamation of them.

She's into really complicated broom flying stunts. And Rose, the ghost is Adrian's dead wife. This is actually a real Supernatural family that I'm playing on my own game. I thought about having a single father and some tragedy so Rose died because she was repairing their dishwasher and got electrocuted to death, I was planning to kill her off anyway. And the family goes to the graveyard at night to visit her ghost sometimes.

Hmm.... well now my interest is on how the family will interact with the town. OH hahaha I should probably add a place for Career in the App- but for now just have that in the Bio. You've already started and I've already started, so I don't think we have a need to add a Career section to our applications. Besides, some might start unemployed and I don't mind looking at the bios to find out what work the characters do.

I've just realized that Galaxia is currently unemployed- I'm not sure but I'm considering having her apply for a job at the Bloom Institute of Wellness (it's a science center and hospital)- I'm sure her Major in Biology will land her a job in one of those branches.

I'm still wondering is she should have a Human disguise like the Aliens in Sims 4 or if she should approach as her self- seeing how the town is rather diverse in population already and thus might be receptive of her. Dang- I can't have her worry due to her not being Neurotic BUT I can worry and I think I'll have her go as she is, her self, to apply for work at the institute. She has the kind of personality that'd do that sort of thing but she's also really smart- I'm not sure smart equals cautious though and I have to factor in that she is childish. I'll start her off by getting familiar with the town on day one and the next day I'll have her apply for work.
