The Rock, Cafeteria Riot
Lee urged the celebrating Riko forward as he covered the two women from the back, as Filia opened the way, Lee would ensure it stayed open. Three guards approached, cutting him off from the other two, two wielded heavy batons and the third a taser gun. Moving at lightning speed, Lee quickly disarmed and took a baton from an off-balance guard and sent him sprawling to the floor, he then subdued the second baton-wielding guard and held the baton against his neck in front of Lee, turning him into the struck target of the taser gun.
As the second guard fell to the floor, Lee approached the final, gun wielding guard and open-hand struck the guard in the chest, sending him flying back several feet, sprawled on the floor. It seems his powers were still slowly returning, that was a shorter distance than he expected. He caught back up to Riko and Filia and mentioned as well, "I'm not leaving this place without my sword, but getting my other things wouldn't hurt either."
Filia Umbrarum AKA Lady Tenebrous
Filia Umbrarum watched as Riko used telekinesis on a pencil, sending it flying towards the guard. She grimaced a little with a cringe before giggling as she walked over him only to stop as Lee covered them. When Lee returned Filia crackled and lead the way. "Come on, hopefully they still got my ride here!" she spoke with a grin, "I'd do something nasty if they sold it."
Filia lead the two other prisoners through the chaos and fighting in the hall way, seeking the way to the lower depths of the Rock where all the prisoners belongings laid unused.. She came to a full stop when she found herself once again surrounded by guards, blocking her pathway to the stairway. However, the half-demon made a devilish grin as she got into a fighting stance. Her eyes glowed like hellfire as she felt the full essence of her power over darkness return to her completely. Filia spread out her arms and extended into long dark whips blacker than the night. The whips grew big black shadowy hands with sharp ominous claws. Before the guards could do anything, the large hands grabbed them all in a tight grip before thrusting up to the ceiling and brutally slamming them onto the floor.
Filia crackled and laugh at her work as her hands and arms shrunk to their pale white normal size. The young looking woman smiled and clicked her tongue before leading her companions, down, down the stairs and following the signs to their destination. The stairway was long, going down many, many floors till they came to floor labled E34 and a sign saying 'Evidence Lockers' pointing in the floor's direction. After a trip through a long hallway, Filia came to a stop again at a door kicked open with only key pad computer. Like at the entry way to the hall, the door was labled 'Evidence Locker'.
Filia Umbrarum looked closely into the brightly lit white room with vault-like lockers of sizes. She grinned and laughed upon recognizing him as fellow Syndicate member Philip. Filia liked Phili. He was fun in bed, but he was also bit cold and serious. "Hey, Philip!" shouted the kleptomaniac as she ran into the evidence locker room, "Did they set you up for this heck of a break in too, hansome?"

The Rock
Wary of the woman before him, Derek raised his weapon at the costumed villain.
While he had no intentions on firing upon the villainess, she was still an escaped convict, a potentially dangerous one at that. And so, kept his trigger finger curled around the trigger guard. It's obvious that she's a meta, but why does she have so many weapons? Does that mean her abilities lack the offensive capabilities?....
From observation alone, Derek took careful note of the bullet holes on her chest, and the fact that they didn't seem impede her in anyway. It was likely that shooting her would have no effect at all. Then there's the difference in firepower, a single handgun wouldn't stack up to an assault rifle and the other firearms on her, taking out his potential trump card in close quarter combat. Still Derek held his grounds, not wanting to abandon the Senator and the other guards that were trapped, slaughtered, and being used as objects for enjoyment. Eyes focused on Nightjar, he momentarily glances past her.
".... SENATOR MCKAY!!" This time bellowed Derek. "THIS IS S.I.D. AGENT COOKE! CAN YOU HEAR ME?!"
Letting several seconds pass, Derek finally decided on a course of action. Staring directly into Nightjar's eyes. "Ma'am, your offer sounds tempting, but how do I know this isn't a trap of sorts. Let's say I play along, what then? Are you going drag me deeper into the cell blocks? For all I know, you could turn tail and run as soon as my back is to you."

"Well, if I can find my suit, I won't have to worry about sunlight, Sweetie." Filia spoke with a grin as walked inside the room and looked around, "They obviously don't have my motorcycle here. So we'll have to make a trip to the garage if we can find it. After word i can ride us out of here through a portal to our HQ".
There were lots of lockers. Anyone of them could have her stuff., but she didn't know which. Filia grinned however, and stretched out her arms. She released several shadowy whips from finger tips and spread the throughout the room. The whips snuk into the cracks of each of the lockers, latching inside of them. The half-demon's grin grew more devilishly before tugging the whips as hard as she could, tearing the doors off and throwing them around the room.
Filia giggled as she looked around the room again, looking for her stuff as well as all the interesting things to steal. The woman then squeaked as she spotted a locker holding dark black suit with a ask that had pointy ears along with several other belongings. "My outfit!" Filia cried with joy as she ran to her locker and held the suit and mask in her pail white hands, "Oh how I missed wearing this!"
Filia placed the suit back into the locker and immedialty began getting undressed out of her orange jumpsuit. She stripped right down to her underclothes, not caring that the others could see her wearing only her bra and panites. Filia knew that she was very attractive enough to not mind being seen in her underclothes and two of the people in the room, Philip and Riko, the latter she showered with along with other female prisoners (lovely body Filia thought Riko had), have already seen her naked anyway. In fact, she grinned teasingly at the thought of them, being her friends actually looking at her.
No sooner after getting undressed from her prison outfit, did Filia get into the leather black suit, boots and gloves. The outfit fitted the woman quite nicely, even better than orange jumpsuit. Filia turned to her compatroits with the mask in her hands. "Shhhh." hushed the half-demon with a great big grin and a happy go lucky wink, "Don't tell anyone I'm Lady Teneborus."
Filia giggled and slid the mask on, completely concealing her face. Afterward, she, now going by the name 'Lady Tenborus' went through her locker to collect further belongings. Among such things was a bag that had supernatural properties, a grappling hook gun, as well as other tools of the thief. Once Lady Tenoborus was all set, the kleptomaniac began going through the other lockers, seeking things to steal from other villians. "Oooh! This looks interesting and shiny." said the thief, her voicd sounding mechanical yet still feminine, as she took out a golden knife with several jewels along it's blade.

Dyelli Beybi wrote:Nightjar took a moment to consider that question, "Because I can say 'please' nicely?" she suggested before shrugging, "To be honest, if I was in your position I don't think there is much that could be done to convince you I'm trustworthy. I'm obviously not licensed to be carrying these firearms and I'm probably up to something. Logically though, if I wanted to drag you into some kind of criminal torture dungeon I would have ambushed you rather than trying to strike up a conversation and convince you I'm on your side, for now. Similarly, if I was going to run, I'd have done it without talking to you. If you want a character reference, I was the one who put on the radio message trying to convince the guards not to commit suicide. Heck, I think I'm the only person in this facility trying to avoid people getting killed and I'm supposed to be one of the bad guys!"
"I might add." she continued, "That my offer is uncharacteristically altruistic of me. I am under no illusion what your people would do to me if I do help you get the Senator out, whereas if I'd avoided you entirely I'd be half-way home by now." Having said that, Nightjar did have a number of alternative exit strategies playing out in her mind, one of which revolved around the Semtex block she had tucked away in her vest pocket; it always helped to go into a situation over prepared.
Abruptly she reversed her grip on the assault rifle and (probably rather unexpectedly) handed it across to Cooke, "If you don't want me along that's fine, I'm not going to get in your way and you'll probably need this more than I do at this point. I'm hoping you have enough honour not to shoot me for at least the next two or three minutes."

Gesture not lost on him, Derek slowly lowered his weapon and got out of his firing stance.
Bending down to pick up the rifle, Derek looked up at her. While he understood the logic behind her words, Derek still had doubts on what her true motivations was. However, the young agent couldn't pass up the offer of assistance, especially if it would benefit the Senator and the remaining guards here. They shouldn't have to pay for his own issues. Several seconds pass and Derek had finally made up his mind. Moving over to Nightjar, presented the rifle back to her. "No need to worry about that, I make it a habit of not firing upon people who is willing to help an officer of the law... And you're right, I need help. I'd be grateful if you can give me that hand."
Extending his hand for a handshake and handing over the rifle. "I'm Cooke..... Do you have a plan?"

G.R.I.M’s Lab, Chicago
Felix’s drones darted to-and-from different experiments in the lab, strange and advanced pieces of equipment quietly hummed in the background. The teleporter dominated the centre of the room, monitors dutifully reporting on its status with charts and numbers that were incoherent to the young woman. Lisette appeared out of place among the wires and workbenches of the lab, her bright pink dress clashing against the dull blues and greys that dominated facility. Unable to contain her excitement as the time of the mission drew closer, she paced impatiently around the lab. Walking among the half-assembled and operating machinery, Lisette curiously poked at whatever caught her interest.
A wide smile was spread across her features, and Lisette hummed happily to herself as she gently spun a loose centrifuge. The incessant ticking of the clock, the painfully slow passage of the seconds, brought the breakout closer and closer, and Lisette could feel the anticipation gradually building in her chest. Even standing in the teleporter room, she couldn’t bring herself to stand still.
“Who do you think the League are going to send? Shaman, Colossus, Titania…” Lisette ventured, unable to maintain the torturous silence that had descended on the preparing villains. “Ooh! Maybe we’ll get to see the Commando – do you think I’ll have a chance to ask for his autograph? No, that’s silly – I’m sure he’ll have far more important things to do.” Pausing for a moment, Lisette ran a list of more probable encounters through her head. Her grin seemed to widen even further as she struck upon a favourite. “Perhaps Gravitas will be there?” The lesser known hero was a rising star, and it would be a real treat to get to see him before he hit the big-time. Lisette turned to Felix, the young man working on maintaining the teleporter. “Are you absolutely sure you don’t want to join us GRIM?” She offered him a friendly smirk. “You’ll be missing out.”

Nightjar paused, considering if continuing was a good idea, but she needed Cooke to at least sort-of trust her for now, "Also..." she added, "It will allow me to make a break for it before one of your League guys shows up and summarily executes me. I'd rather avoid that; they might get it right this time."
"So..." she said, turning to face the direction Cooke was going. There was another pistol tucked down the back of her trousers, just in case the one at her hip and the rifle weren't enough, "Which way are we heading?"

Derek paused at her words, listening to them intently.
Although grateful for the assistance, the fact that he had to act so out of character of him, doubt bloomed at the back of his mind. He can certainly pull off looking like a cop, but has no experience in being corrupt or infatuated. During his days as a simple police officer, there was no known in the department to take bribes or abused their power, at least not publically or his knowledge. His only reference in that regard was the TV shows that he watched on his off-time, but really paying no heed to those either. As for infatuation, Derek has never been in a relationship, either too busy with his work or completely uninterested in pursuing them. Regardless, he can at the very least look the part, loosening his tie, taking off his suit jacket and hung it over his left shoulder, slouching forward slightly, and pulling out a cigarette box from his back pocket.
I guess I should just look angry, right?.... Or would looking down on them be more convincing, I guess I'll do something in the middle.
"Does this look convincing enough?" He asked out loud, eyes scanning around momentarily, making sure that none was observing them. Confident, he continued on. "Also, as long as its just putting my arm around you, there should be no problem." He pauses, doing his best to hide the fact the for the most part, has been "married" to the job and is severely inexperienced in anything intimate. "If you do anything more, I'm going to charge you with sexual assault and arrest you on the spot... Alright?"
Rynagria wrote:"The cafeteria." Concisely replied Derek, pointing towards the appropriate doors. Mind still pondering about her fate should the League get a hold of her, Derek opened his mouth as if to speak, only to cut himself short of actually talking. "You should be familiar with the place, right?"
Bentus wrote:Flush with victory, and determined to put an end to the fight before it even began, Tristan followed through with his initial momentum. He launched into the remaining meta with a herculean effort, swinging the baton with all of his strength as he sought to deliver it on a direct collision course with his opponent’s skull. But before it could make contact, Tristan felt all of his forward motion vanish in an instant.
Surprised, Tristan looked to see the baton being gripped in the lizard-man’s outstretched palm. A threatening leer grew on the meta’s features as Tristan’s heart sank. He offered a half-hearted smile towards the prisoner.
“I don’t suppose we could call this one a draw?”
The meta twisted his wrist, shearing the metal baton in two, the cleaved section clanging onto the ground. Tristan looked at the flimsy stump left in his hand, sighing to himself as he did so.
Well, that's just my luck.
