Name: Firmus Piett
Age: 39
Gender: Male
Species: Human (Axilla)
Allegiance paid to: Galactic Empire
Rank: Captain
Appearance:
Image

Personality: Piett has shown himself through out his service to have high integrity, as he has cleared corruption, smugglers and pirates through out many planets and systems, not falling to the temptations of bribery and otherwise like other Imperials. Piett also has a certain dislike of those who did not meet the standards that he expected of them or what their rank proposed. He has a certain hate for the scum of the galaxy, such as bounty hunters, smugglers, and etc. He has also shown himself to be very sly and cunning at times, often gaining many contacts and being liked by certain powerful individuals, which help increase his image and status. He also has a no nonsense attitude, often getting straight to the point or not falling for distractions. And unlike other Imperials, like Tarkin, Piett has an honourable personality, often keeping deals and not backstabbing. Along with this, he is a staunch supporter and is very loyal to the Empire, referring to people like the rebels simply as a next generation of Separatists. However, despite this (with the exception of the usual black market rabble), Piett is also quite merciful, preferring to take prisoners then massacre (of course he still follows orders, but still). He also has a sense of logic over honour and fame, willing to run when needed and knowing his limits. In several battles and operations, Piett has shown himself to be willing to do things himself, despite his high rank. This, mixed with his high integrity, battle veterancy, and humble beginnings, has earned Piett the respect of many friends and enemies alike, and the loyalty (and sometimes fanaticism) to those under his command. Piett is also not a racist, he treats all races as equals, as he treats people by skill and such and not by rank, status or species.
Force Sensitive: No
Skills/Powers: Can quickly adapt to situations, Blaster Pistol Proficiency, hand-to-hand combat, a bit of experience with knives
Weaponry: E-11 Blaster Rifle, SE-14r light repeating blaster, Vibroknife which he hides in boot
Ship: Victory II Class Star Destroyer Resolute II (Temporary), Praetor II Class Battlecruiser Accuser II (will get later in IC)
Biography: Piett was born in 39 BBY, on the Outer Rim Planet of Axxila, which at the time was apart of a small group of planets called the Ciutric Hegemony, which at that time had sworn it's allegiance to the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Piett's family were "Free Axxilans", Republican Loyalists from Axxila, and had moved to the planet of Halmad. During his teenage years, Piett sought out for a military career, joining a Naval Academy, where he graduated just days before the end of the clone wars in 19 BBY. Because of his status as being from the outer rim, Piett's status was lower then others, and he was forced to work in his native sector. With the forming of the Empire, Axxila Anti-Pirate Fleet, a naval force from Axxilia tasked with eliminating pirates, became a task force for the Newly Formed Imperial Navy. For decades, Anti-Pirate Fleet Patrols had illegally enriched themselves by ignoring pirates and smugglers (I know, the irony corruption can cause), however, Piett refused to do such illegal acts.

Piett became quite famous for his integrity as an Imperial Marine and later an Ensign, making many arrests and suppressions of smugglers and pirates through out his system. Seeing his record of having high integrity, Moff Penscar Luc, Governor of Piett's sector, assigned Piett to a new task force made up of officers who had been considered as trustworthy and reliable, directing them to crush all piracy in the region. Piett's reputation for integrity let him quickly rise through the ranks, eventually reaching the rank of Lieutenant by 13 BBY, at the age of 26. He soon gained control of Axxila Trade Enforcement Operations, making the Ciutric Hedgemony one of the safest systems in all the Outer Rim, in which he received various commendations for his actions, and carefully cultivated his contacts in the Core Worlds, going so far as to transfer his Outer Rim accent into a Coruscanti one.

Piett's record and experience soon caught the eye of Darth Vader, however instead of feeling pride of his new found attention, Piett felt only as far as Cautiously Optimistic, as he found his superiors being choked to death left and right by the temperamental Sith Lord. Piett, fearing that his rise through the ranks would lead him to the high mortality position of being an officer under Vader's Command, Piett requested to be transferred to the Coruscant Defence Fleet, however instead he was put into command of the Star Destroyer Accuser by one of the Imperial Supreme Commanders. He took part in the battle of Tuskana, and several other battles afterwards with his new Star Destroyer under his command, including the Battle of Yavin IV.

When he took command of the Accuser, he soon became good friends with one of the officers already on board, Sublieutenant Arnold Venka, because of his similar straight to the point personality, eventually promoting him to Lieutenant Commander, and effectively becoming his right hand man. After the battle of Yavin, he was selected by Darth Vader (along with several other Star Destroyers) to hunt down the remaining Rebel Forces, in which he did effectively, capturing many of the remnants. In late 1 ABY, he was able to capture the Millenium Falcon, holding Han Solo and Chewbacca Prisoner. However, Han Solo and Chewbacca (with the help of some Rebel Commando Remnants), were able to not only escape in the Millenium Falcon, but also overload the Accuser's main reactor, causing it to be destroyed (that is, after Piett was able to evacuate most of/all the crew and garrison). Piett has lost his ship, however Imperial Command had recognised his history and duty for the Empire, and so they reward him by giving him command one of the only Praetor II Class Battlecruisers left in the Imperial Navy. However, the battlecruiser itself had been put in storage since 18 BBY, left to rot, and so was going to take sometime until they repair and refurnish it. Piett also told them to equip the old Accuser's Proton Beam Cannon, which was recovered from the wreckage of the former Star Destroyer. He has been told they were going to finish it by around 4 ABY.

So, that Piett is still able to do his job, he is temporarily given command of a Victory II Class Star Destroyer named the Resolute II. Because the smaller Star Destroyer wasn't big enough to occupy all of his crew, he got the most experienced of them to command his Temporary Star Destroyer, and assigned the rest of them to help repair and guard the Praetor II Battlecruiser. Eventually the Rebel Alliance was no longer considered a major threat, and Piett and his Temporary Star Destroyer were reassigned to once again deal with Pirates and Smugglers across several systems. This is also where he met his next 'companion', ISB Agent Venn Kallic, who was also tasked with eliminating Pirates and Smugglers and was partnered with Piett, in which they too eventually became friends, which is why, when the task was finally finished and handed to someone else, Kallic asked to be transfered under Piett's command (his excuse being to protect the captain), in which his permission was granted by both the ISB and Piett himself.

During one of their tasks, where Piett, Venka and Kallic were able to infiltrate and capture a gang of smugglers under the Hutts, they found a damaged IG-100 Magna Guard Droid in a storage area, rusting away. Piett, interested in certain Clone War Era relics, asked for the droid to be repaired and reprogrammed to serve him. They eventually repaired, but because of the extensive time the droid was not taken cared for, it developed a slight unique personality from the damage because of a corruption in it's core (think of HK-47 except less.....killy killy killy). Piett, finding the droid's new level of sentience and unique personality both amusing and useful, decided to let the new personality stay. Eventually, as it pretty much became Piett's personal droid, Piett commissioned it to also have a communicator to speak instead of bloops and bleeps, and gave it a protocol droid packet, making it usable for both diplomatic and combat situations.

Now Piett is a well respected and decorated Captain in the Imperial Navy, awaiting his next mission as he patrols the Galaxy.

RP Example: Go to the last post
Notes: Ignus (Modified IG-100 Magna Guard recovered from the Clone Wars and reprogrammed as a personal bodyguard, can also act as a protocol droid), Lieutenant Commander Arnold Venka (Piett's second in command and right hand man, is fanatically loyal to Piett, but has a very 'follow the rule book' personality), Lieutenant Venn Kallic (ISB Agent assigned to protect Piett)

I'd like to ask, what is the Inquisitor/Sith Assassin/etc to Imperial rank ratio? I mean, can an Imperial Captain outrank an Inquisitor? Other way around?

Name: Ellice Ulgo

Age: 29

Gender: Female

Species: Human (Alderaanian)

Allegiance paid to: Imperial; Imperial Security Bureau

Rank (if it applies): Agent

Appearance (Picture appreciated):
Image

Image

Personality: The strongest trait that most people recognize about her initially is her seemingly cold and cruel demeanor, seemingly void of emotion or any sort of empathy to the Empire's enemies. She has a calculating demeanor to herself, and really only ever focuses on her assignments and duties, only swaying from them at rare times. Her reasons for acting like this could be from the destruction of her homeworld, the death of her family destroying what innocence she has left and only leaving a weapon for the use of the Empire. To which she is loyal to. The Empire, more specifically the Imperial government and the people of the Empire, are her primary sources of loyalty. She doesn't share the same fanaticism that many have for the Emperor, instead her fanaticism comes from the strength and security the Empire has to offer. Loyalty to the Emperor comes by proxy of this, as well as he was the one that brought it in.

She, unlike many Imperials however, doesn't share the same view of aliens. Ellice believes all are equal within the Empire, and will treat an alien species the same as any other. She doesn't approve of the supremacist thoughts that have gripped many in the command of the Empire, though she believes this will change with time. Thus she holds alien members of the Imperial Military, such as Admiral Thrawn with high esteem and respect.

Force Sensitive (Y/N): Yes, though untrained and not know to her.

Skills/Powers: Snipers and blaster pistol specialty, investigation skills, interrogation (both enhanced and otherwise), droid maintenance, and pilot training

Weaponry (If any):
- SE-14r Light Repeating Blaster
- E-11 Long-Range Blaster

Ship (If any): Any ship Imperial command assigns her to.

Biography (At least a well written Paragraph please): Born on the planet of Alderaan to the noble house of Ulgo, Ellice grew up in the heights of nobility during the Rise of the Empire. Unlike many of her fellow Alderaanians, her parents raised her as a fervent supporter in the strong and newly constituted Empire when the Clone Wars ended. She celebrated Empire Day alongside them, and became one of the voices of Imperial support on the old planet. She was found by her family at a reasonable young age to be sensitive in the Force, however her parents suppressed this and didn't highlight this to her. Eventually, her force-sensitivity seemingly became dormant, and she continued growing up with no knowledge of her Force Sensitive nature. Though her parents were from the primary line in the Ulgo House, she wasn't destined to become a major lady or head of the House, and so when she came of age she enlisted in the Imperial military.

In the naval academy of Prefsbelt, she was trained to be an officer in the Imperial military. She was placed as a simple officer to a Star Destroy under the command of Grand Moff Tarkin. During her time in the Imperial Military, her career was highlighted by rooting out dissidents on the ship, and being able to investigate and locate points of interest for the Empire such as Rebel cells. This gained the attention of Tarkin, who reassigned her from the Imperial Navy and into the Imperial Security Bureau.

Routed to the ISB Academy on Coruscant, Ellice was trained in matters of Investigation as well as interrogation and enforcement. It was during this time that the Empire had destroyed the planet of Alderaan with their superweapon the Death Star. While this was a point of hesitation for the young agent, Ellice came out with a stronger commitment for the Empire, believing the Alderaan deserved to be destroyed for its support of Rebel activities and that it was for the greater good of the galaxy. She graduated from the academy and became an agent of the ISB shortly after the Battle of Yavin, and the celebrated crushing of the Rebellion.

She spent the latter years working to crush any further Rebel activities, working alongside the Imperial military and even the Inquisitorius when necessary, making a name for herself in the ranks of the Imperial Security Bureau.

Personality:Subtle, shy, compliant, feels small and weak, has no confidence Force Sensitive (Y/N): Yes
Skills/Powers: Scavenging, running, hiding
Weaponry (If any): Small knife
Ship (If any):Nope
Biography (At least a well written Paragraph please): Stella has spent her entire life as a scavenger on the Forest moon of Endor, avoiding various Ewok tribes that wish to catch and eat her. ( They caught her three times but she got away) Her parents ship crashed landed on the planet after being attacked by pirates. Everyone but her mom, dad, and another passenger died in the crash. The ship was a transportation corvette, with limited weapons and no hope of being repaired. Her already pregnant mother bore her on the planet while her father fought a tribe of ewoks from reaching his wife and daughter with his blaster. He was overwhelmed but his courage allowed for both mother and daughter to escape the Ewoks. Stella's mother then took care of her for the next 12 years. Stella learned to hide and run from the ewoks. She learned to steal and scavenge from the ewoks. Then her mother was caught. Stella lived alone after that, still surviving. At 14, Stella began to get visions of a taller male holding a blue saber with a small green frog looking thing. The visions were telling her to find these people but gave indication of where to find them or how to get to them. Then a miracle arrived. When Stella was 16 she found manuals to a distress beacon in a previously unexplored area of the cargo hold. Her mother had warned her not to explore there because it was in a section of the ship that was on the fringe on collapse. Stella was desperate however as the Ewoks were closing in on her position and she was running out of supplies from her major scavenging spots. She immediately set to work on the distress beacon with the little materials she had. Fortunately for her, the beacon was not hard to construct nor required difficult to find materials. The last piece to finish the beacon was found a week ago and now Stella is waiting for the right time to launch the pulse signal. She hopes it will reach a ship, whether it be an Imperial ship or a cargo ship. ( She knows a small bit of the matters of the Galaxy due to her mother explaining it to her while she was still alive but she is a little outdated. 17 years to be exact.)

The Holy Empire of Steel wrote:Name: Markus Levall
Age: 36
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Allegiance paid to: Empire
Rank (if it applies): Officer/Lieutenant
Appearance (Picture appreciated):

Personality: Humancentric, Cold, Extremely loyal to the Empire
Force Sensitive (Y/N): N
Skills/Powers: Extensive use of heavy/support weapons. Almost two decades of service to the Empire. Suppressive fire capabilities. CQC training.
Weaponry (If any):
(1) DLT-19 Heavy Repeating Blaster Rifle
(2) Thermal detonators
(1) DD6 Blaster Pistol
(10) Spare power packs
(1) Vibroknife
Ship (If any): Whatever's available
Biography (At least a well written Paragraph please):
Born on the Imperial capital-world of Coruscant, Markus had a rather typical childhood. That is, as typical as one could have being born into the Levall family. You see, the Levalls were a strictly military family, a family that had built it's foundations on strength and duty, and could trace it's members all the way back to the Old Republic's first battles with the Zygerrian Slave Empire. So it's no surprise that at a young age Markus and his two siblings, Dieter and Ayella respectively, followed in their family's footsteps. Each of the siblings were groomed for the position they chose, and they each graduated at the top of their respective academies, as was expected of their family name. Markus and Dieter chose the Stormtrooper Corps, with Markus specializing in the use of support weapons, such as Heavy Repeating Blasters. Dieter, on the other hand, specialized in field medical duty, and would go in to be a decorated combat medic. Lastly, Ayella was accepted into Imperial Intelligence. As a trio, they did the Empire proud across the galaxy, completing every mission with excellence, resulting in numerous promotions for each sibling. Ayella even [REACTED].

By his late 20's, Markus was promoted to the rank of Second Lieutenant of the 93rd Stormtrooper Legion, informerly nicknamed the "Deadeyes", for their outstanding kill rate and their unusually high success rate. For example, on the Rebel World of Dalron FIve, the 93rd were instrumental in the destruction of the world's planetary shields, which resulted in an overwhelming Imperial victory, as well as adding almost 100 confirmed kills to the Legion's record. However, there were also many hardships in Markus' life. As the years went by, the once fledgling Rebellion only grew stronger, and more bolder in it's attacks, which culminated in the attack on the First Death Star at Yavin IV. While the Rebels were eventually defeated, there were many Imperial Casualties, too many for an Empire that considered itself invincible. The almost unbelievable attack also resulted in the death of both Markus' Mother and Father, who both perished after a Rebel Pilot flew his X-Wing through the Bridge of the Star Destroyer they were both serving on, killing them both almost instantaneously. A loss which rocked Markus to his very core.

The next two years went in a blur of rapid deployment and redeployment. In this time, Markus was promoted to First Lieutenant of the Deadeyes, and the 93rd Legion added another 205 confirmed rebel kills on record, a number Markus was always personally adding to. With each passing year, the Empire would only strengthen it's grip on the galaxy. With each passing month, the 93rd would be deployed against another rebel cell, and every time they would walk away victorious.

Now aged 36, 1st Lieutenant Markus Levall is ready to hang his towel, so to speak. He's fought the Rebel scum across the galaxy and back, and is ready for the Empire to finally end their existence. Even so, Markus is still keenly aware of how dangerous the Rebellion is, especially when pushed into a corner, and is prepared to fight to the death to protect the Empire he holds so dear

Notes: Has a permanent Corporal at his side at almost all times.

Name: Isaac Condor
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Allegiance: Empire
Rank: Corporal
Appearance:

Personality: Optimistic, unquestioning loyalty to the Empire.
Force Sensitive: (Y/N): Y ( Can sometimes sense an attack before it happens, but very rarely. When it does happen, it's only a few hours in advance. Isaac believes he just has good intuition.)
Skills/Powers: Somewhat adequate medic. Has a few years of good combat experience. Has basic level force sensitivity, low enough where it really doesn't effect his actions.
Weaponry:
(1) E-11 Blaster Rifle
(5) Spare Power packs
(2) First-Aid kits
(1) Thermal Detonator
(1) Vibro-knife
Ship: Whatever's available
Biography:
Isaac Condor has had a very generic life; He was raised on a small farming world in the mid-rim systems to a pair of loving parents, and when the Empire called for it's citizens, he immediately signed himself up. Isaac believes whole-heartedly in the Empire's cause, and while he doesn't hold the same level of hatred towards the Rebellion as some of his comrades, he certainly isn't a fan of their actions. After the Rebel defeat over Yavin IV, Isaac was moved into the 93rd Legion, and Lieutenant Markus took the young trooper under his wing. The pair make a remarkable team, the mix of Markus's headstrong nature and Isaac's uncanny ability to sense danger lending to more than a few Imperial victories. Isaac looks to further his career in the Imperial Stormtrooper Corps, phis end goals landing on being a Commissioned Officer of some kind.

Arg, I'll get it to later. I'm going to sleep after this post.

Anyway, Inquisitors are only punishable under Vader and the Emperor. They are able to outrank certain positions like captains and admirals.

Such as if an Inquisitor came aboard an ISD and ordered the captain to take him to a planet, the captain would have to do so.

However Moffs and Grand Moffs are higher, and are only outranked by Vader and the Emperor. With only Tarkin being higher than Vader.

WARNING! SPOILERS BELOW!

I'm not sure how AU you'll allow this to go, but I'm going to app as a Maul who only got injured and then left for dead, once again by Obi-Wan, instead of his death at the hands of Obi-Wan during Rebels Season 3. App is below.

Name: Maul
Age: Approx. 60 (if the 54 BBY birthdate is to be believed).
Gender: M.
Species: Zabrak.
Allegiance paid to: himself/possibly the Rebellion (as he opposes the Emperor a lot).
Rank: N/A.
Appearance: Maul. Except now he has a cybernetic left arm, as well as cybernetic implants.
Personality: Maul is... well, he's a very manipulative sociopath. He was once a dark lord of the sith, and once thought revenge was all that mattered when it came to Obi-Wan Kenobi. But, once he discovered who exactly Obi-Wan was protecting, and after nearly dying in his encounter, he has let go of much of his rage and suffering. He is still rather quick to anger, and still will manipulate others to get what he wants. He also has a habit of thinking several moves ahead.
Force Sensitive: Y.
Skills/Powers: Maul is a near-expert at lightsaber combat. However, when in a rage, or when he underestimates someone, he can make mistakes. He also has general telekinesis and dark side force powers, aside from lightning. Maul also knows how to manipulate people.
Weaponry: It took a while to repair it, but his old lightsaber (as seen on Rebels) that doubles as a cane is still around.
Ship: The Resolution, a small freighter.
Biography: Maul's story is consistent until his supposed death at 2 BBY. Maul, after a short fight with Obi-Wan, lost. Again. And this time was the final time, as he lost his arm to Obi-Wan and was damaged. Instead of finishing him off, though, Obi-Wan left him with some bacta. Maul was left alone, one arm missing, in the middle of some desert. He contemplated Kenobi's mercy and the events that had transpired. He contemplated everything, and knew he could not and would not touch the Chosen One that Obi-Wan spoke of. It was not Maul's place, he knew. He knew that now, at least.

Maul left for a marketplace shortly after. It took some... non-standard negotiations and such, but eventually, Maul managed to buy a ship. Maul was no longer angry; no longer resentful. He felt... for the first time in his life, at peace. As odd as it was, despite his losing another limb - despite losing once again to his sworn enemy. He realized the futile nature of his hatred for Kenobi. He realized the futile nature of holding onto the past. Now, Maul realized, it was time for him to focus on his future. Of course, he was probably going to die if he ever faced the Emperor or legendary Darth Vader in combat. He knew that as well. So, Maul decided, he must find new allies... even if it would take some convincing.

Maul eventually got to a medical center and used his manipulation and Force abilities to convince them to give him a new mechanical arm, as well as repair any damage the bacta did not. Maul now was left with no idea as to what to do; he had a decision to make. A fairly large one, at that. He felt Kenobi's death in the force after it had happened. He knew, and for some reason, it saddened him. But now, more than ever, Maul had a decision. And once he makes this decision, he has to be resolute with it. He must either enter the playing field once again and align himself with the Rebellion, and attempt to persuade them of his want for redemption for his past and revenge against the Emperor (he doubted they would need much convincing for the second part). Maul must make this important decision, and he is uncertain if the choice he is considering is the right one... especially considering the Dark Side is still strong within him.
RP Example: Boi, you know me.
Notes: N/A.

If a 'Former Sith Lord who after many years is finally looking for redemption' character is not okay, I'll think of something else. I just figured with how AU this already is, I could get away with this tiny change. Besides, Maul could probably act as an example of 'what not to do' for Luke. :P

Is there any new primary group against the empire, or are they just small groups that can be easily squashed?

I'm hoping my character can become a rebel if accepted.

Should I be a Lasat Mercenary aligned with the Rebels or a drifter Mando with some Force sensitivities...?
