Alright, vaguely finished app. Enjoy!

WIP app, but I thought I might as well put it up for critque:

Imperial Security Bureau File #01283023

Name: Henalea Kessch

Age: Thirty-one

Gender: Female

Species: Twi'lek

Allegiance: Insurgent

Rank: Captain-equivalent

Appearance:
Image

Psych-Profile: Kessch is believed to see herself as a mother figure to her crew, taking as personal and interest in the welfare of each of them as she is capable of doing with the time available to her. She has also been observed to take personal vengeance against those who harm her crew outside of the normal course of warfare, most notably demonstrated during the Zolan Incident (File #30398749). In the wake of said incident, it is advised that no Imperial agent who believes themselves marked should utilise locals in order to relieve their tension.

It has been noted that Kessch has a flair for both ingenuity and a single-minded persistence which has allowed her to work her way around or through some of the most stringent security systems in the Outer Rim, destroying what she can and evading and eluding what she cannot. Vigilance is required when engaging her, under any circumstances. Most commonly, she has displayed an ability to think outside of the box and beyond any singular battle, attacking the Empire on the military, economic and political fronts.

Force Sensitivity: None

Skills: Kessch's most notable skills are in mechanics, engineering and computer programming, areas which her background helped develop to the levels which would allow her to pull off most of the feats which she has since achieved. She has been shown capable of working her way around almost all of the standard Imperial precautions on both software and hardware, and is capable of almost any mechanical operation, from improving snubfighters to rebuilding Buzz Droids to re-routing power lines or simply sabotaging weaponry. Whatever the case, she has experience and talent in those areas, and it results in a dangerous level of proficiency.

Her second notable area of skills is her ability to problem-solve. When first fleeing from Dac (Files #30358842 - #30358853), she displayed significantly less tactical competence than that shown throughout later engagements, most notably her attack on Mandalore's Imperial Academy (File #30327943), but all of her engagements has shown her ability and willingness to find alternate routes out of tricky and ostensibly impossible situations. This often leans heavily upon her aptitude with engineering, and it cannot be stressed enough that Kessch's capabilities can never be accurately assessed until her back is firmly pressed against the wall.

Weaponry: Kessch is known to carry a DL-18 on her person at all times, but her most dangerous personal weapon is the trio of Mark One Buzz Droids which follow her around. The extent of their programming's corruption is unknown, but they certainly act to protect her. During the attack on the Imperial Academy on Mandalore (File #30327943), they were been observed to disassemble an AT-AP without noticeable prompting, shield Kessch from blaster bolts and even perform complex tasks under direction. It has been theorised that Kessch has an identifying transmitter to ensure the Buzz Droids know who she is, but such a theory is yet to be proven.

Ship: The Melodious (File #02595433) is Kessch's ship, and is known to be based around the remains of the Maleficent after its hijacking and escape from the Dac shipbreaker yards (File #30358842). Its additional components are unknown, but are believed to include pieces from an unknown Dreadnaught-class Heavy Cruiser, an Acclamator-class Prison Ship and potentially a Vindicator-class Heavy Cruiser. While its exact capabilities are unknown, it is believed to posses between twelve and eighteen turbolasers, between six and eight point defence batteries and somewhere between two and three snubfighter squadrons, most notably composed of M12 "Kimoglia" Heavy Fighters, but also including Belbullab-22s, ARC-170s, Z-95s and even a V-19.

Biography: Kessch was born on Ryloth in the waning days of the Galactic Republic and went through the Clone Wars unsure as to what was happening and who was fighting who. Other than her general impression that there were bad people and good people fighting somewhere, she had no idea what was going on in the galaxy outside of her happy little childhood bubble. That is assumed to have made her life a blur of confusion when, at the age of six, her family was torn from their home and pressed into the Empire's service at the orbital shipbreakers over Dac (File #09497485).

Little else is known about her childhood over Dac: she is not recorded in any of the official schooling programmes, but nor is she recorded as present at the foundries. Whatever the case of it, she first reappears in the records at age twelve, where a girl matching her eventual description was seen helping a Trandoshan child evade the law enforcement agencies (File #30394032). She was do much the same for a further twenty-seven children (Files #30394033 - #30394059) before she officially joined the foundries at the age of fifteen. There, she found her mischief tempered by the realities of life, but by all accounts she also found a passion for her work.

Before long she started to rise through the hierarchy based on little more than pure energy, making contacts which would alter serve her well when she chose to leave (File #30358842). In hindsight, that makes it seem likely that she was planning her moves long before she actually made them, but such speculation serves little purpose after the fact. Whatever the reasoning, she proved to be an extraordinarily capable mechanic and also a perfectly capable leader and politician: in her brief tenure overseeing the plant, she caused fair upswings in productivity as well as deftly hiding her own activities from her watchdogs (File #30358464).

Her opportunity to act came when she was assigned the task of breaking the Munificent-class Frigate Maleficent into easily-digestible chunks to feed the still-growing Imperial industry. It was the work of five months to move all of her pieces into position without alerting anyone, but after those five months, events happened within three hours, and Kessch soon found herself jumping to lightspeed with a heavily-damaged ship as her previous life faded away behind her (File #30358842). It was to be the start of a new chapter of her life.

She spent the next three years operating as a pirate, jumping on unsuspecting Imperial convoys, looting them and then selling whatever she could on to others (Files #01277922 - #01277987). It is believed that this is the time she started making her links with smugglers and other extra-legal traders, offering them salvage rights in return for fencing her, or merely information and distraction. She is also known to have started her own small refugee camps at that time, supplying them with the fruits of her piracy and taking what agricultural produce they could harvest in exchange. At present, she is estimated to have over fifty such havens: what she could gain from them beyond an excessive variety of fruit is unknown.

Once she'd managed to survive for three years Kessch started to become more aggressive, raiding more heavily armed convoys in order to loot weaponry, armour, shielding and snubfighters. She started to become more and more involved with the criminal underworld (Files #01245938 - #012459982), buying and selling weapons, vehicles and anything else damaging to Imperial rule, but generally doing her best to avoid direct confrontation with the Empire. This was the situation for another twelve years before the Navy tagged her as a personal threat and sent a Star Destroyer to root her out, which began by destroying one of her much-vaunted communities in order to send her a message.

Within a month, her stance had changed completely and the Star Destroyer was little more than a burned-out husk lying amidst the ruins of Kessch's lost settlement (File #01249023). From there, Kessch is believed to have headed to Murkhana (File #01203950) to study what little remains of the Shadowfeeds before starting her own illegal HoloNet broadcasts attacking the Empire. Broadcasting scene after scene of the Empire's darkest secrets, she attempted to incite rebellion in whatever way she possibly could, moving from system to system in an attempt to start what appeared to be a righteous crusade against the Emperor himself.

This has recently culminated with an attack on the Imperial Academy on Mandalore (File #01294849), aided by the traitorous cadet Lallella D'serr, which resulted in the facility being put out of commission for a week while repairs were underway. With her publicity boosted further from that, she has continued to do all she can to harm the Empire without being caught, flouting all Imperial attempts to catch her. And yet the noose tightens ever further around her as she flees from system to system...

Notes: The only ship known to be under Kessch's direct command are the Melodious (File #02595433), her modified Munificent-class Frigate, but a number of smaller freighters and transports are believed to operate indirectly underneath her. These are know to include the Path to Bankruptcy (File #02583932), Prisoner's Gold (File #02583345) and Twice Bitten (#02583042), and the Illustrious (File #02583049), Windborne (File #02583863) and Five-oh-six-two (File #025830593) are suspected of complicity. It should be noted that these vessels use false transponders on a regular basis and any so imperial agent attempting to pursue them should use alternate methods of identification.

Several members of Kessch's command have been positively identified, and the most important of these shall be detailed below:

Issett Eress (File #01294849) is known to possess an intense loyalty towards Kessch, possibly due to an incident (File #30394032) in the Dac shipbreaking yards during their youth. As a result of this, Eress has been shown to act as the de facto second-in-command, and has often been seen acting as a starfighter pilot, generally as a reserve at a pivotal moment. A note to Imperial agents attempting to engage: while it has been noted that Eress' tactical abilities are significantly lesser than Kessch's, he is still a skilled fighter. Do not engage unless you have a debilitating shot prepared, and always ensure that he is dead before leaving.

Lallella D'serr (File #01294755) is the latest addition to Kessch's command, and possible head of her snubfighter forces, and was a former Imperial Cadet at the Imperial Academy on Mandalore before her presumed escape and defection (File #30327943). A noteworthy ace and tactician D'serr was considered on track for a promotion to Wing Commander aboard an Imperial, or possibly higher, before her defection and has since been convicted of desertion and cowardice by tribunal. Should you engage, shoot to kill unless explicitly ordered otherwise by your commanding officer. She is a traitor to the Empire, and deserves nothing but death.

The former HoloNet reporter Jeiran Kathsi (File #01294784) has been confirmed to act as Kessch's media adviser. While it is unlikely that she had any input in Kessch's decisions to set up her own "ShadowNet" broadcasts (File #81384093), it is likely that the Sullustan has had much to with the increasing popularity of these broadcasts and, as such, has been convicted of one hundred and forty-three counts of treason, soliciting treason, soliciting murder and soliciting sedition. She is to captured alive if at all possible, in order that her death may be broadcast to counter her own propaganda.

R4-S9 (File #01103755) is a rogue R4 unit previously belonging to the Transport Ship Impervious (File #13494834). It was believed to have been lost along with the ship's entire manifest during its stopoff at Baklek Base (File #30394785). What transpired next is unknown, but it is known that by the time of the Rutan Incident (File #30329637) that the droid was working alongside Kessch with apparent willingness. It has since been a persistent nuisance for defence planners, and any Imperial agent preparing for an engagement with Kessch should ensure that they take the necessary precautions to prevent physical or network intrusion from this droid.

Spindle, I love you and you're my favorite person to do SW RPs. However I'm going to have to ask that you remove the Buzz Droid swarm and change your ship.

I already stated earlier that there can't be any rogue ISD players, I'm going to have to do the same with this. I have to ask that any independent characters cannot have any ships that are larger or equal to cruisers.

The Buzz Droid swarm is really out of place for SW. I'm fine with maybe having one or three of them that help with infiltration and hacking or taking care of fighters but not doing things like making a shield for her.

As can I, I have a project due tomorrow. I can look through these apps once I'm done.

I just hope this isn't one of those RPs that seem so bright but then never make it to the IC stage

Well, so far we have:
-ISB Agents
-Imperial Officers
-Imperial Soldiers
-Pirates and Smugglers
-The occasional rebel and force sensitive outcast
-And Inquisitors

So, take your pick, but no Grey Jedi, and definitely no Mando Jedi

Checking in before I pass out. Finished the paper, and I do not take 6 days to check apps. I have checked recent apps, but have not sat down to gather them all.

Tomorrow, I will finally be able to. Now, I'm going to go pass out before I collapse at this computer.

Also for character ideas a lot of things go whether you want to be Empire, a rebel or independent. Canon characters are okay, but keep their POD to 2 BBY. Feel free to look through previous apps I've accepted, and always check the rules.

Also Warg, there's a reason for no Mando Grey Jedi. I'm fine with a Mando Jedi, but only under certain requirments

As a full-time NS dick, I am going to point out that "Grey Jedi Mandalorian" is one of the most overused character descriptions for Star Wars RPs. It's generally used as either a method of saying "lol, he can fly and shoot blasters out of his arse and use force lightning", or else to say "this is a really, really, really cool character and I'm going to keep telling you that until you accept it". It's not an inherently bad concept, but you should think on which parts are necessary before you go ahead with this. Mandalorian is necessary, I imagine, but would it be more interesting if they hand't been trained and had to figure out this "Force" thing as they went along? If they were a regular Jedi whose character development arc took them into the grey area? If they weren't a Jedi, but had everyone convinced that they were, Wizard-of-Oz style?

As I've said, I'm just a dick, so you don't have to listen to me. But then again, if you're here you've probably read the whole thing. So well done me, I guess.

Now I rest.

Awwww...thank you, darling.

And brought the Melodious down to a Munificent base (and even lowered its weaponry count - I hope you're happy) and the number of Buzz Droids down to three. I'll probably edit the notes at some point to include their personalities.

If there's anything else you want changed, just tell me.
Disclaimer: Nothing said here is the product of a rational mind.
So...apparently I'm a decent writer. Um...wait, what?
Relativity, nukes in space, nukes in atmosphere, LASERs, MASERs, kinetic weapons, missile and kinetic CIWS, impactors and centripital force.

And, of course, for anything at all, you can always go here.

You didn't have to lower its armament, I just wanted a smaller ship was all. It can have the standard amount. Thank you for the change, I'm looking forward to giving one more read over, before I accept it.
