Kheto growled again at the man. "I don't care about your sidearm!" he said pushing him against the wall. "The weapon the UNSC used that brought us to this station!" One of the Unggoy saw the man trying to use his earpiece. "He's alerting the UNSC!" he shouted, pointing at Jones. Kheto roared and kicked him with one of his powerful legs. "Your USNC won't be able to save you!" he said stepping on the man's wrist, putting a lot of pressure on it. As he leaned down to look at Jones, Zira spoke to Kheto on the comm. "Have the humans told you about their weapon yet?" he asked. Kheto growled and replied in Sangheili. "No, shipmaster. The scientists refuse to cooperate. They are wasting our time, trying to stall so the UNSC can save them." Zira thought about it for a moment, then tried something else. "Open your comm, I will speak to them." he said. Kheto switched his channel over, and Zira addressed the scientists directly. "Humans... There is no honor in killing scientists. Tell us what we ask, and you will live. Refuse, and you be crushed like vermin."

She was startled by the sudden arrival of the strange woman. No, a girl. She leveled the bolt pistol on her head and spoke in a calm tone. "I know not who you are, and I do not really care, you are going to step trough that door and tell me were the fuck I am, or I will put a .65 bolt straight through your head."

A .65? That'll blow my head off, thought Sloan with a mild amount of fear. Keeping her hands up, she eyed the pistol, which was nearly the size of the woman's head as it was. The barrel was fat enough it probably could be .65. A dangerous situation.

But Sloan's Soul Gem was not in her head, it was in her coat pocket. And the urge to snark was great in this situation.

Corporal Wellington - Hub

Marie kept low. Her ears twitched, her eyes scanned her surroundings, and she found no signs of life, except there were still lights on. She checked behind her, but there was no tunnel or sunlight. Where was she?

She realized then that she could be in great danger. She quietly unslung her carbine and checked around once more. She needed to be quick, she told herself, as she slid her bayonet from its sheath and fixed it to the end of her weapon's barrel.

Safety was off. Wellington rose slowly, and moved down the nearest hall as quietly as possible. Her ears were shot straight up, her greatest asset. If anyone was nearing her, she could hear it. She remained vigilant, but for the longest while the only thing she heard was her own heartbeat and footsteps.

A whisper, just a sliver of sound caught her ears. Yelling. Weapons discharging. She pressed herself against the wall and moved closer to the end of her corridor. Her nose caught something, egging her on.

Katya - Hub

Was she alone? She couldn't be alone! The lights were on, so wherever she was HAD to be inhabited! It was a large station, however. Bunker? Apartment? She had no idea where she was.

"Hello?" Katya called out, toting her suitcase alongside her. She suddenly realized just how odd it would be if someone was living there and stumbled across a strange girl from...somewhere. Surely it couldn't end badly, though...right? She passed more halls, passed a small sitting room, and what seemed to be a recently used kitchen, and she found that she was beginning to hear some signs of life. Her theory of an apartment or barracks seemed the most reasonable, she though; she called out again, curious to see who she would meet.

The Hub

Jones let out a scream as his wrist was stepped on, he could have sworn he felt something break from it as the alien kept putting pressure on it. When the alien had his leader on the comm to try and get him to tell him what the conduit was, thinking it was a weapon system. Once more the one called Drew spoke and told them that it was the Conduit and what the machine can do and that the aliens were now in another universe along with them.

In the hanger Hex was hearing what was going on in the other room and she order a soldier to give her the pulse rifle that they had. Hex walked to Revan. "Looks like our fears have finally come true. There are hostile alien lifeforms in the hub and they have captured some of our scientists. They think they were brought here by a weapon system from some group called the UNSC." she explained. Hex turn to the other soldiers and ordered a team to accompany her to save the scientists.

"I would like for you to join me encase we need your skills to help us deal with these aliens because right now we know next to nothing about them." Revan can hear Ross somewhere complaining about wanting to take off his suit as he can hear the man getting his rifle charged for the mission.

The Hub-Bar

As Elizabeth followed Brynn behind her to the pub the witch had her flask out and drank down all that was left in the container. "I'm thinking of stealing one of the replicators in this place and take it back home with me. I don't care much for how the builders of that machine would feel and can make some fancier stuff for myself without making my wallet and savings scream in agony." the witch said as still held onto the flask, ready to refill it once she and Brynn reach the bar.

When the two reach the bar they found that they weren't alone. "Looks like our attempt on leaving the medieval period was a bust since two relics from that time followed us here of all places." was her response to seeing two men. Elizabeth gave Brynn her flask. "Can you refill this for me? I'm gonna greet our new guests." Before she can give the woman a chance to speak the witch walked off to meet up with the two new fantasy warriors.

"Let me guess what is going on in your heads right now. Who are we and why are we wearing strange clothing and the most important question of them all, where the are you right now and why is everything made of metal? To answer the easiest question my name is Elizabeth and my friend over there is Brynn. As for the second well that one is going to be a long and complicated story for you two so I suggest you two take a seat before I say anymore."

The Witcher
Geralt was still salty about the entire situation, but at least he got the chance to try some alcohol. He and Mordred had gone off to the Bar, and he began to sample and taste of the Hub's edibles and drink. Some tasted good, some tasted like crap, some tasted weird. He missed all of his usual vodka he'd chug after a good Hunt.

His Medallion had been humming slightly in Mordred's Presence, and Geralt deduced it was due to the sword he carried, though he didn't bring it up, as he saw no reason to.

Then the two woman had wondered in, talking about something he wouldn't able to comprehend or understand. Clearly they had brief new arrivals before, and were probably skilled with it at this point. His Medallion began to hum even more as they entered the room, and his cat eyes narrowed and focused on Elizabeth, the source of the magic. It was definitely strange and unique, though he'd ask about later, if at all.

"Technically we're already seated," Geralt deadpanned as the assumed Sorceress stepped forward. "A man named Kauffman and some thing called Spyglass briefed us when we got teleported here. This place is called the Hub,Conduits sent us here, Ascendants are killing Gods, have to save the multiverse. But feel free to explain some more, I'm drunk enough to listen."

She grimaced as her one hand fumbled as she tried to patch up the hellgun wound. This would cause her to yelp and drop the pistol momentarily. She would look down and did her best to stem the bleeding and pain. Looking up, she suddenly remembered the girl being there. Shoving a wad of antiseptic cloth in to the wound to stop the blood flow, she spoke again, holstering the bolter.

"Look, from what I can tell, this isn't were I am from...or you, apparently, and I could use a second set of hands with this." she pawed the wound as the cloth reddened. "So...in exchange for not filling you with bolt rounds, you help me with this."

Hub-Bar

"Oh you met old camera head huh? Thank god he did that job because I wasn't in the mood to to explain a knight and a mercenary from medieval times how electricity works let alone explain the existence of the multiverse." she took a seat and took out a cigarette. As the woman smoked she can sense the energies coming from the two men.

With the white haired cat eye one she can feel some amount of magic coming from him but most of it was from the runes engraved on his armor and weapons. "Runic magic. Judging from his attire and the runes he either comes from one of the Germanic of Scandinavian nations. The longsword however is pointing to him coming somewhere from a Germanic point of origins"

Elizabeth turn to Mordred and what she felt from the man was a powerful force. It wasn't the knight that this power was emitting from, instead it was the sword that was the source of the power. The sword felt divine and while she was in the presence of artifacts that belonged to gods this sword felt very different. This sword's power felt closely to the beings known as angels yet was still vastly different from them.

"So mind giving a lady your names gentlemen since I already told you who I am?" Elizabeth lean back on her seat and rose one leg and placed it on top of the other. "Tell me cat eyes does the word Germania mean a thing to you or Scandinavia?" she turn her attention to Mordred. "Where did you find that sword? Did you find it from a monastery or did some monks gave it to you?"

Elizabeth took out her curved, serrated, black knife and held the bottom of the knife with just her finger as the point of the blade was balanced on the table. The almost faded sigils on the blade were hard to see due to time almost eroding them away and rust obscuring them, and cracks altering them slightly The two would even see that some of the teeth of the blade were either cracked or missing. The sigils on the handle were covered by the white coarse cloth that wrap around the handle to make sure Elizabeth didn’t touch the handle.

Elizabeth wanted to see how they would react to her knife and to see how sensitive or intune they were to magic and if they can sense the curse that was imbued to the knife. Elizabeth also knew that her amulet would be another artifact that they would be hard pressed to miss both visually and extrasensory since the magic attached to it was both ancient and powerful.

When Elizabeth asked for his name Geralt simply said, "Geralt of Rivia, Witcher." And then in response to her question about Germanía and Scandivania he simply said "Nope". Probably cultures or Kingdoms. Maybe worlds.

His Medallion began to hum even more as he focused on the Artifacts in the room. Apparently Mordred's sword has some sort of religious, spiritual, or divine power. While he was pretty apathetic when it came to religion he suppose dit was possible Gods existed in other worlds. And he could tell something was... off about the Dagger. He couldn't necessarily sense magic but due to his years of Witchering around and training himself to detect magic, he could tell something was unique about it. It just felt... different. And he couldn't place why, so he chalked it down to other worldly magic.

"Not to surprised those words would mean nothing to you. However Witcher sounds odd, from what I can sense from you I don't think your a witch unless your still new to the magic business." Elizabeth replied back. She noticed the medallion on Geralt humming and from the arcane energy coming from it that might be how he was able to sense arcane energy around him.

"So tell me what Witchers are and about Rivia and the world you come from Geralt? For an example is being born yellow eyes and silt pupils a common feature in your world?"

"Witchers are Genetically Mutated Monster Slayers for hire. Witchers are trained from a young age to hunt and kill monsters, training physical and mentally as we study them to prepare ourselves. Then after a lot of trials and mutations that kill off the majority of the trainees, we get sent out into the world to hunt and kill monsters. We're the world's best swordsmen, have limited magical abilities to cast spells called Signs, and have extensive knowledge in alchemy, crafting, and bestial knwoeldge. Cat eyes are a side effect, just like my white hair. I'm a century old but my hair lost its pigment during the Mutations when I was far younger. Rivia's a small kingdom that I got knighted in. In my world it's pretty small and insignificant compared to the rest of the major political powers, especially since it was recently conquered and annexed."

The Hub-Bar

Elizabeth was surprised to hear what Witchers were mainly because she didn't expect to hear the man to know what genetics and mutation was due to the time period he comes from. "Looks like I may be underestimating this bloke too much. But I still doubt he knows what electricity is." the woman took a drag on her cigarette as Geralt explained about who are the Wicthers.

"Wait I'm sorry but did you say you are centuries year old! How the hell are you still alive when leeches and bloodletting is the most popular form of medicine in your world?" Before the witcher can speak however the witch's surprised expression began to change to one of understanding. "I get it now. You are using this Sign power and your enhanced condition to fight off most diseases?" Elizabeth tapped on her cigarette and parts of it fell off.

"Sorry for that freak out there. I wasn't expecting to hear that modification you went through made you borderline immortal in your world. I've encounter a few mages back in my world that lived for a long time but as you can tell from my reaction encountering humans who have lived for that long is extremely rare back home. So this sign power, is it anything like sigil and rune magic? Have the folks who figured out how to make Wicthers ever found a way to lessen the fatality so that way they can mass produce more Wicthers to kill monsters?"

The witch asked as she was close to finishing her cigarette. "So that kingdom knighted you? What did you do to get that honor because I don't think just slaying a monster was enough for the royals of a kingdom to give you an important title and honor like that." Elizabeth would want to know who conquered the kingdom but she decided to let that curiosity wait for now as she continue to dig for more information on the monster hunter before her.

"What about you Mr. Black Knight? Do you work for some holy knight order hunting down monsters and demons of the world using the sword forged by the lord himself?" she said as she tried to guess who the knight is and what he does in his world.

Kheto 'Sudumee

Kheto stepped off of Jones and walked straight to Drew. He leaned down and looked into his face again. He searched it for moment, finding no trace of deception, just fear. But it didn't make sense. They couldn't be in another universe, the Holy Ring was destroyed by the UNSC. The Great Journey was delayed. "Your Demon destroyed our Sacred Ring, stopping us from making the Great Journey. This is not the realm of the Forerunners. They would not allow something as insignificant as a human like you into their paradise." Kheto stood up, and hailed Zira again. "Shipmaster, did you hear what the human said?" he asked in his native language.

"Yes... I did." Zira said, thinking as he spoke. "The Gateway activated its own slipspace portal that pulled us in. We might truly be in another realm. These humans do not behave like UNSC. Kheto listened, but wasn't convinced. "They could be bluffing. They are a conniving race, not to be trusted." the Minor said, glaring at the scientists knowing they couldn't understand him.

Zira ordered Kheto to open him comm again, and spoke to the humans once more. "If you have evidence of the words you use, show it now. If your intent is treachery, you have chosen a poor tale to tell."

Brynn Overton

Brynn took Elizabeth's flash and refilled it with alcohol, and also listened in on the conversation. She heard the Witcher introduce himself as Geralt, and Spyglass immediately appeared on her visor to inform her of his previous answer. When she had enough booze to last a while, she slid into the seat next to Elizabeth. "Sorry to interrupt mates, no I'm not." she said. She passed the flask over to Elizabeth. "You can 'ave this back." Then she looked at the man before her. His eyes were slightly offputting, but she was used to the weird by now. "Nam'es Brynn, like she told you. I just got one question for you, before you go on. Who's 'Vernon Roche'? Because apparently that's you, or at least it was an hour ago, but now you tell Liz here that you're Sir Geralt of Rivia. Which is it mate?"

"What about you Mr. Black Knight? Do you work for some holy knight order hunting down monsters and demons of the world using the sword forged by the lord himself?" she said as she tried to guess who the knight is and what he does in his world.

"Alchemy and herbal remedies." Was Geralt's response to Elizabeth's question about medicine. "Magic and more able medicine in a a tolerant city. Witchers are different though, were not human. Slows our aging down. We can live up to a thousands years if most of us didn't die in our first hundred. We're immune to most diseases, and we have specialized Witcher Potions and Concoctions that have incredible healing properties, but only the Witcher's immune Systems can handle them. It reacts violently with any non Witcher."

"Sign Magic are basic spells that don't require much training and concentration. I specialize in 5, though there are more. The five I use are Igni, which allows me to produce fire, Quen, which gives me a protective shield, Axii, to manipulate the mind, Yrden, a magic trap, and Aard, a telekinetic blast, and if I concentrated enough I can freeze people with it." Geralt made the appropriate hand gesture for each Sign, though he didn't cast it. "It's similar to Sigil Magic in the way it uses symbols of power, but that's it. One Witcher School specialized in Signs, and they were supposed to be great warrior mages, but I'm not from there. Runes are crafted into my equipment and have enchanted them. Not much more than that."

"And how I got knighted? Well, to make a very long story short, I got caught between a rock and a hard place. The Lydian Army was fighting off Nilfgaardian forces, they're a massive Empire in case you were wondering, and I had to help rally and lead the Lyrians to fend them off. So I got knighted for my valor, which was ironic as I had called myself "Geralt of Rivia" before that to seem trustworthy and credible."

"And Witchers are dying breed. We've always been hated for being different and not human. And then some Witchers never recovered from their traumatic training, and now we're hated by most of the world, especially after a few Witchers started killing Kings. Besides, most monsters are being killed off by organized kingdoms, and the need for Witchers has decreased. I can count the Witchers I know that are alive on my hand. And creating an army of Witchers? That's a horrible idea. Even then he knowledge to create them is guarded by Witchers, and a new one hasn't been created in a long time." Geralt took a more somber tone as he took a sip from his vodka as Elizabeth focused on Mordred. She confirmed his suspicions that he was somehow divinity powered, though he wasn't sure how.

And in response to Brynn's question, Geralt simply said "Brother In Arm. Good friend. When I got sent here I had no idea where I was. So I lied, but I don't see a point in doing that anymore."

He took a casual sip of his vodka.

The Hub-Hostage Room

Jones was puzzled by the alien's claim of a demon destroying a holy ring, he never thought of the aliens being religious but he knew that the others were now picking up this interesting information. "You're right, we are not the humans your race has met because we have no idea who the UNSC is or what your talking about." Jones said as he held his wrist.

"These Forerunners of which you speak up are probably the Ascendants if your claims are true of them possessing gate technology. If they are than they are not gods, instead they are the enemies of true gods and no doubt once conquered and rule in your universe long before your species ever came to existence." Jones said, just to get the aliens attention away from Drew encase he decides to reveal more secrets and to stall time for the rescue group to arrive.

Jones took out his card and threw it at the alien, on the card not only would they see that he was in the research and development department, his field being biology, but the symbol of his organization which the card obviously left off any ways to recognize that he works with AEGIS save for the symbol. However the card is also a warrant card, an enchanted item that once viewed would make the person not only believe what Jones want to see on the card but obedient to his demands. Normally researchers are not given this card but senior members are often given warrant cards as one of the perks of seniority.

The Hub-Bar

"Finally you showed up. I was almost afraid you ran off with my flask there." she jested as she open it and took a sip of the alcohol inside. The witch's pleased expression was evident that whatever was inside was more to her liking. "I have no idea what the ingredients are but whatever is being used makes this stuff taste just like it was the soma of the gods. I'm actually scared that all other beers will taste like shite to me because of how good this one is."

When Brynn asked Geralt about his fake name Elizabeth wasn't too alarmed by it. "Maybe in his line of work having a fake name increases your odds of survival? I ran with a couple of fake names myself just to hide from my enemies. Before you ask Elizabeth Ashwood is my true name." Elizabeth began to spin her flask around, hearing the alcohol inside swish and splash inside the container.

Elizabeth turn her attention back to Brynn. “So did you live on Wales before it was swallowed by the sea or did your family lived there they moved up to a space ship where you were born? Your name and accent gave away the fact that you're a Welsh such like me.” Elizabeth attention soon went back to Geralt when he began to answer all of her questions.

"Right forgot about alchemy there. It does that back in my world along with changing matter into something else and pulling matter from other worlds. So you Witchers are pretty much something else even though on the outside you appear human. Man you are reminding me of many creatures back at home who can either take on a human shape or possess humans." Elizabeth took another sip from her flask as Geralt continue . "So Signs are sigils only they get their effect to go off much more quickly? Any chances of you sharing me that little trick?" she said with a side grin, not really expecting him to give her a yes to that request.

When Geralt told her about the rather dreadful state of Witchers in his world she was almost reminded about how some people who know of the supernatural view mages. If mages aren't be controlled and used for whatever agenda by some conspiracy or being assimilated by another than they are to be suppressed and destroyed for whatever reason, religious ones are not the sole reasons people have for killing mages. "I should count myself lucky that mages aren't as public about our existence unlike Witchers." but the thought made her realize what would be her fate and that of the many mages once the occult underground is exposed to the public.

Just like Geralt the somber thoughts made the witch give a similar expression that the Witcher now has. "Figures as much. No matter where you go humans will always be stupid. Sure let's hate on the group who is helping us against monsters just because they are different." the woman said as she took another swing on her flask.

Geralt offered his vodka to clank as she became more somber. Then he took another sip as he continued on
"My line of work taught me that sometimes humans are the real monsters. I've seen a lot of bad things, tried my best not to do anything evil but your morality gets skewed and lines get crossed. Sometimes if you don't want to pick the lesssr evil you just have to stay neutral. And sometimes that's even worse. One time I nearly died trying to stop nonhumans getting lynched in a pogrom. I did my best to survive and help my friends. I made a home for myself but now I'm stuck here. Fighting against some race that can enslave the entire multiverse apparently." He stopped his self pitying to look at her.
"And you? You face any persecution in your world because you're a sorceress?" Also can I try whatever's in that flask?" He asked a bit more lightheartedly to ease the mood. Do that and I might show you how Signs work."

Kheto ignored the card, instead focusing on the human's claim that the Forerunners were not gods. "Watch your tongue heretic, or else I'll cut it out. The Forerunners left their sacred relics all across the galaxy for us to find so that we may embark on the Great Journey. They wait for our arrival so that we may transcend this mortal realm!" As Kheto educated the idiot human, one of the two Unggoy looked down at the card. He bent over and picked it up, looking at the words on the card, even though he couldn't read them. He stared at it, almost entranced by it, though Kheto ignored it as more Unggoy stupidity.

"It's a little something a friend cooks up on the Rampart. Not sure how strong it is because none of us feel it after." Brynn said about the alcohol. Elizabeth started asking her about Wales and whether she had lived there. Brynn thought for a second how to say it. "Aye, I'm Welsh, ethnically at least. I was born on the IMS Gibraltar. Wales is long gone where I come from. Part of the European Ocean now. People haven't lived there for over a hundred years. I was born on a ship, grew up on a ship, and live on a ship. I go wherever I'm needed. Expeditionary Forces aren't used to staying in one place too long." she said. Brynn knew that Elizabeth would likely not take the news about her home well, even though the Wales she knew was likely nothing like the one that existed in Brynn's world at one point.

Katya - Hub

The sounds of shuffling feet and conversation drew Katya nearer to the kitchen; She'd nearly passed by it, assuming it was empty at the time, but now that there were people inside, she was eager to see who.

But the discussion she heard left her perplexed. Progroms? Magic? Adventurers? It sounded like a discussion out of an old fantasy novel, but Katya could assume that her current location was too modern to be some old fort.

While the strange group chatted in the kitchen, she peeked in from a doorway, then slowly situated herself against it.

Corporal Wellington - Hub

"What words they use? Is this an interrogation?"

Marie moved closer, slowly, towards a strange scene. Humans! They didn't look like Turks, however. She didn't catch the smell of chemicals or gunpowder, and there didn't seem to be any collapse or damage in the immediate area, but they were in trouble. Someone was speaking to them, or something; Maria noticed the way the interrogating voices sounded, and it put her on edge.

She took another step forward, and raised her rifle. A second step, and she steadied her breath. As she neared the end of the hallway, more of the scene came into view. She froze when she laid her eyes on the strange aliens. What the hell were they, she thought? They definitely weren't Human, and the armor and weapons they brandished were unreal. Her mind raced with thoughts, red flags telling her to sneak back. Against her better judgement, however, she ignored her rampant thoughts and urged herself forward, just in the hall, just around the corner from the elites and their Human prisoners.

Torii - Hub

Although she had been feeling it for some time, her lack of rest hit her like a truck once she was in the Hub. Torii was groaning, dizzy and worn out. It didn't help that her body was running hot and cold, or that her chest was hurting. While the rest of the group chatted and wound down, she stumbled out of the hangar. She was happy that she remembered which way the kitchen was, passing by a hallway down and towards their quarters.

She looked for a door handle, or a button, and then remembered that it scanned her body instead. When the door did open, she tumbled in with a relieved sigh. The place was way too clean and impersonal, but decorating would come later. Her eyes caught a small bed, and she was out before she even hit the sheets.

The Hub-Bar

"I can full hearty agree with you on that statement. In some of my cases, actually a good chunk of them really, I find that supernatural malice and human cruelty often go hand and hand, sometimes the latter is the source of the supernatural happenings or it attracted the supernatural to the location of my case. I have even been involved in cases where human were responsible for the creation of some supernatural menace that either me or someone else has to put them down." the mage almost hissed in rage as she recalled a few cases that still make her feel absolutely levied

Just like Geralt the somber thoughts made the witch give a similar expression that the Witcher now has. "Figures as much. No matter where you go humans will always be stupid about somethings. Sure let's hate on the group who is helping us against monsters just because they are different." the woman said as she took another swing on her flask. "When it comes to morality in my world, at least when it comes to the occult underground, it pays not to think of it has a clash of good and evil. Do that and you won't survive long in that world."

The mage stopped for a moment to take another swing on her flask. "I'm not much of a saint or a law abiding citizen but I do have a code of honor if you will, a very loose code but a code nevertheless. Yet even with that I was sometimes forced to bend even that code to some extent and was forced to sacrifice things that to this day I wish I haven't. I try to be a decent person, do some good in the world. But that world has a way of bringing out the worst in people."

Elizabeth didn't want to go into much detail about her life but she hoped that what she revealed so far would give the picture that the life of a mage is not an easy one. "Oh I have dealt with my fair share of bigots who want me dead for being a mage. Some want me dead for religious reasons and others thing that mages are a threat to humanity or that be knowing magic puts me in the same league as monsters. I also had to deal with rival mages either because they didn't like that I was following a paradigm that they don't agree with or they just want to take me out for the usual mage reasons, either revenge for some offense I did to them or because they want to take out a rival and steal my stuff. I also dealt with my creatures that don't like the idea of humans possessing any sort of power to defend themselves from the supernatural." she explained to the witcher.

"Unlike in your world mages in my world keep their existence a secret, along with everything related to the occult underground. But people are still going to find that other world and if they aren't awed and terrorifed of us they will loathe and despise us for whatever reasons. Now some complaints I have heard against my kind is rather fair but does it warrant whole sale slaughter of every mage around the world? I'm not the best example of a good mage but I try do good in the world and I have met others who do a really good with their craft. Yet for some people just them knowing magic is good enough reason for them to die, regardless if they are using their magic for the benefits of others."

Elizabeth handed Geralt her flask. When Brynn finally spoke Elizabeth was reminded of the time she once tried beer that was made by an old friend of her using holy water and magic. "Sucks you guys can feel it as much because that stuff was really good." When Byrnn confirmed that Elizabeth's guess of her being Welsh was correct. "Yeah the UK along with most of Europe being underwater bit." she said with a sigh. "As depressing as the thought that Wales and London are both underwater is I can't be to upset over the news. That is another London and Wales, two where I was never born."

Elizabeth was silent for a while as she thought of what to say next. "How is life as a spacer? What sort of strange planets you have seen in your life and what freaky aliens you encountered?" the witch was curious on hearing from Brynn what life in space was like since before boarding the Morgana and the Hub she never thought she would ever be in outer space. "also just out of curiosity but in your Wales is there a river called Afon Cerridywn and a town called Branlludw that the river goes right through?" That question may not match well with the space questions but she wants to know how similar or different the Wales from Brynn's world was before it sank into the sea.

Brynn shrugged. "It's not bad. You go where you're needed. It suits the soldier life pretty well, so lucky me I didn't have the same transition that the colonial kids did." She thought for a second about what planets to mention. A lot of them were still classified missions, and couldn't really be shared. "Lots of weird beasts, nothing humanlike, they're all animals. Prowlers that are like a large tiger, but they got spines and plates on their body that they flare up, like some kind of mating dance or display of dominance. I've seen dragons, though a hell of a lot smaller than the one we just saw, snatch a Marine right out of his squad and carry him away. I think I've mentioned the Leviathans before."

Elizabeth asked about a town, and Brynn tried to remember it. "No, can't say I've ever heard of it, sorry. Don't think it exists in my world. If Wales were still a place that existed, my family would be from a city called Swansea. Not sure if it exists in yours. If it doesn't, then that's two people that haven't seen it."

Revan and Bastila
Skyrim
Near the Conduit

Revan and Bastila were quite alarmed when Hex informed them that hostile alien lifeforms were on the Hub, and had captured some of their scientists. On the brightside, it seemed they didn't know how they got to the Hub, which at least suggested they were new arrivals and not an attacking force of Ascendants. When Hex asked for him to join them, Revan replied: "Of course, Bastila and I will do all we can to help. We should alert the rest of the Hub to their presence as well to make certain no one else is taken hostage." After walking through the Conduit and back to the Hub, Revan activated his comm-device and contacted HK-47: "HK, we've just been alerted to the presence of hostile aliens on the Hub. Have the gods made it to the Conference Room?"

"Answer: Yes Master, they have just arrived. Shall I proceed to destroy these hostile alien meatbags?"

"Negative" Revan replied "Get the Conference Room locked down and protect the gods at all costs. And find out if the VI can sound any sort of alarm to alert the rest of the people on the Hub..."

The VI then interrupted: "Activating Station Alert." A few moments later, the lights throughout the Hub began to dim and klaxons began to sound throughout the station.

Looking back to Hex and Bastila, Revan stated: "Let's get moving!" and quickly made his way towards the exit of the Hanger Bay...
