Shor's Stone

Hex kept firing her rifle at the bandits even though she can hear the Stormcloak cavalry approaching, she could have turn to deal with the cavalry but she couldn't let the bandits go free just yet, she needed to decrease their numbers so none would remain. Hex soon saw the leader of the bandits show himself.

Yet as quickly as he made his presence known he was quickly dispatched by Saber, the captain f the Morgana seeing the golden blade and the ethereal glow emitting from the far enchanted blade before the majestic weapon was once more in shroud by arcane wind to make the weapon invisible to all, to hide the clue to Saber's identity.

With the leader gone Hex got up and began to run the other direction, going to the assault truck and hiding behind it for cover as she took aim at one of the horsemen and pulled the trigger. The other storm close AI horsemen would see o e of their own fall of their horse and hit the ground lifelessly as their was a small hole in between his eyes. Several more horsemen met the same fate and Hex only stop shooting as she was inserting in a new magazine clip for her rifle.

[Winterhold

Elizabeth put in new bullets for her revolver and soon resume on opening firing on the undead horde, knowing to aim at the head as she has seen many zombie movies to know that is the weak point and in some of her cases when zombies were present some were indeed weak to a blow on the head. "Hopefully they aren't the type that can surge off bullets in the brain." she thought as she once more ran out of bullets. "Screw this." Elizabeth put away her revolver. "Hey Reiko can you pass over a pistol or two?" Elizabeth asked.

Before the Japanese mage can respond to Elizabeth the two head the door making a loud noise as as a zombie hbofe was slamming itself repeatly at the door. Reiko handed a pistol to Elizabeth who fired a few bullets to the undead bore after it slammed it's head on the door.

Some of the soldiers switch to using banishment rounds as they suspected that the souks of the deceased were controlling the reanimated corpses. Yet as they open fire at the corpses they found that the bullets didn't work as intended as the zombies kept on going, showing that it was magic controlling them, not the souls of the deceased.

"Crap the banishment rounds aren't working." Reiko shouted. Elizabeth saw a skeketion walking over to the humvee but was quickly shot down by the machine gunner. "I wish I had a few spells prepared before moving out if we were gonna deal with freaking zombies and archers with mages." The two heard a loud explosion as one of the humvees was struck by a fireball, the explosion not coming from the humvee itself as more of one of the tires being caught and the heat causing the tire to burst.

Yet for the enemy archers and mages this small victory didn't last as the humvee kep on going, the machine gunner on top still firing a hail of bullets at The Stormcloak fighters. "These guys are slowly turning into a joke. We are too much for them." The witch said with laughter.

Yet the laughter end as both Elizabeth and Reiko felt a dark energy in the truck. The driver shouted in pain as a dark red energy surrounded him, his very life energy being drain away by a dark spell. The driver lost control of the vehicle and soon crashed on the wall of a mountain.

Airbags were deploy to save both the driver and Elizabeth as steam was coming from the trunk of the humvee, gasoline leaking out of the truck. Elizabeth was the first to get out of the truck, holding her head as a throbbing pain made it hard for her to concentrate on what was going on. Yet her senses detected a powerful dark presence and turning to face the source she saw a a pale woman with red eyes wearing dark robes.

Sensing not only the touch of necromancy but something else she raised her gun but was soon hit by the dame dark spell that was not only draining her life energy but also Azoth from her body. Elizabeth wonder how this can happen while her amulet was still around her neck. Yet as she reach for it she found that it was missing, left behind in the humvee due to somehow losing it in the crash.

Elizabeth scream in pain as the pale woman walked forward, revealing long, sharp, fangs. "Bloody hell, a vampire. That is all we needed." She manage to say before screaming again in pain from the spell that the vampire had cast on her.

Azaleh

Azaleh saw the vampire take down Elizabeth. As his new Death Knights bgean to master their new abilities, Azaleh turned to the Vampire, grabbing her by the neck and her mouth. As the vampire cast multiple spells at him, he merely winced once from a bit of pain. Grinning, Azaleh fired a tremendous amount of fel energy down the Vampire Woman's throat. Glowing green craks appeared on the vampire woman's skin, before she screamed and exploded in a blast of fel energy and fire. Azaleh then turned back to the rets of the troops while yelling to Elizabeth "Get up girl, your time isn't here yet."

Winterhold

Elizabeth slowly got back up, her body feeling like lead was coursing through her veins and the world around her was almost fading away into a black void. The words of Azaleth were muffled as the witch turn around, stopping herself from falling down, as she walked back to the humvee. Once she reach the truck her legs gave away and she fell on her knees but her hands grabbed on to the chair.

Elizabeth began to look for the amulet and soon she found it. Elizabeth once more felt the dreaded drain spell on her as yet another vampire was in the area. Elizabeth this time put on the amulet and she no longer felt the drain spell n her body as the magic of the amulet caused the spell to disperse. The vampire was confused by what happen but before he can react Elizabeth manage to turn and fire a few shots at the vampire, hitting them on the chest, shoulders, neck, and forehead. Reiko manage to move to the other side and get out of the truck.

Seeing the vampire she kept firing bullets at the creature until she was out of ammo. The driver manage to get out but was soon hit by an arrow that hit him on the knee. The driver scream in pain and fell. When he landed on the ground he felt something wet and a familiar smell hit his nose. "Oh shit the humvee is leaking gasoline!" The driver shouted as he tried to move away from the truck before a fireball can strike the gasoline pooling from the vehicle.

The driver took out his pistol and fired on some of the zombies but his attack soon came to an end as a fireball hit him on the back, allowing for zombie dogs to pounce and devour the man alive. The vampire that Elizabeth and Reiko shot at was stepping back and when he thought of running away Elizabeth fired a bullet to their leg, forcing them down and to be at the right spot for a humvee to run them over.

Elizabeth got up and walked to the vampire who was miraculously still alive as they tried to crawl away. Once she was close the vampire tried and failed to drain her life force, Elizabeth deliver the final few shots to end the vampires life. Elizabeth saw a fireball coming but it missed her, the magic of the amulet working as intended as it made it look as though the mage missed their mark.

Elizabeth raised her pistol, and fired it at the spot where she saw the fireball come down from, she wasn't sure if she got her target or not. An arrow came down and struck Elizabeth on her right thigh. Elizabeth fell down sh teaming in pain, yet just as she fell another arrow that almost struck her by the neck flew by, striking at the armor of the truck.

Elizabeth can see zombie digs walking towards her and the witch began to fire on them as the ran towards her. As one of the dogs pounced it was gun down by Reiko and some of the soldiers, the undead canine falling down to the ground and rolling towards Elizabeth.

"Thanks a lot love, I owe you one." She shouted to Reiko as tbevither dogs were taken out by Elizabeth and the soldiers. The soldiers surrounded Elizabeth and just as one got in front of her head the soldier would have an arrow strike him on the groin. One of the soldiers picked up Elizabeth and began to carry her out of the open. Others went to the humvee and helped get Jane and Reiko out. Once the soldiers were there they helped get Reiko out, one asked if Jane and J.D. can still walk on their own or if they need help out of the vehicle?

Golbatman En Route to Helgen
Golbatman didn't say anything in response to Revan's comment about not requiring any emergency procedures. "It never hurts to be cautious," he thought to himself. He listened quietly, and with great interest while Revan described the Force.

When he saw the smoke, he leaped out of the car straight after Revan. None of his Pokémon would be of any use against these machines, so he jumped straight into the middle of the melee fighters. Before they could all attack him, he thrust a smoke pellet on the ground and proceeded to hit them from behind with a flurry of punches and kicks. He made sure that none of the Obras were killed, but unconscious, fully intending to interrogate one of them when this was over.

Just as I had gotten a good position and was firing the borrowed AEGIS rifle no one minded that I use, that plan went to hell. We wrecked, and I was jostled inside, bumping my left arm good, but getting nothing due to my impact field that was on. But when people started saying that the vehicle was leaking gas, and everyone started exiting stage left, I was pissed off. A soldier asked if I needed help out. But I just jumped out of the vehicle like everyone else and said nothing.

Good thing my impact field generator is still working. Should have as much charge for several fights. Whatever these dog-things are, I have no idea. Ugly mutts. I fired a short burst at a few and missed. I'm still getting the weight and kickback of this gun figured out. Some brilliant archers fired a volley of arrows at us, but they dinked helplessly off my impact field. I felt a couple of pokes is all. But seeing where the arrows came from, I shot in that general direction and heard some cries of anguish. Hit something or someone. Good.

I decided to get out of the vicinity of the leaking vehicle, so I went in the direction of the archers I had just shot, where cries were still shouting. In the bushes, I found about ten men, six of whom had been shot and a few other corpses. Aiming my gun at all of them, I said, "You want more of that? This magic weapon is what injured all of you. Now you better give up and surrender, or I'll give you more of this!"

Boo
The ghost felt uneasy, at the android’s request. Normally, he would have no problem explaining the complex math behind the relationship between a Guardian, a ghost, and the traveler, but something told him the android had ulterior motives behind his inquiries.

He paused knowing that Maylin would sense his uneasiness and would likely investigate. “It…is…hard to explain, we all share a network, but we each gain our own personalities as we spend time with our guardians. The traveler, the being that created us from fragments of his own power, had the ability to warp and manipulate the fabric of reality, in doing so, he made us beings that scientifically, shouldn’t exist, and yet we do.”

“I cannot go much further, as it seems standard for us not to remember much before we found our guardians, speaking of which.” Maylin, having sensed the change in Boo’s demeanor, strolled in to the room, his Suros in hand. “Boo, you said some of my gear was transmatible, right?” The ghost nodded. “The sickle, your light machine gun, and the Arc Runner are here, as for your ship…it seems the blueprints have yet to form.”

I recall the name "Solitude.", She told Yoshi. "If the name is any indication, then we should find this objective to be met with little difficulty.", She added.

The lingering structures ahead certainly didn't lend themselves to a small settlement, although the name was still fitting; Solitude was, of course, the only major city in that area, nestled atop a hill overlooking the ocean.

The magic girl was still ahead of them, but they were making decent time. Iko could at least regret the lack of speedy motorized transport, although she figured that such a luxury could not be spared for such a small group.

En route to Winterhold

The soldier watch the clone of Elizabeth rush out and began to open fire on the Stormcloak arches and mages and their undead pets. The soldiers manage to everyone who was still inside the vehicle out and as they ran away a stray fire ball landed on the ground, the burning of embers of the spell floated up high and as they gently came back down to the ground they landed at the very edge of the pool of gasoline.

The embers would ignite a flame that would race towards the crashed Humvee and went inside the source of where the fuel was being contained. The humvee exploded into a large fireball, the concussive force of the blast along with the sharpnel killed anything near by which ended up being both soldiers and the undead. Yet some if the Stormcloak were also killed by bullets that were still inside the humvee's machine gun, the heated pieces of metal and lead flying all over striking at everything surrounding the burning wreck.

A few bullets that would have hit Reiko missed her due to the personal ward that she had on her which took on the form of a silk bag containing the ingredients and materials to make the ward. The mage took her pistol and with assistance of a laser sight fired shots after shots at the Stormcloak goons.

Reiko took out a grimore and quickly flipped through the pages to find the right spell. "Come on, where are you." She said as she skim through the pages. When Reiko found the right page she let out a girlish shout of excitement, not caring if everyone heard it. "Let's see how you bastards like having a taste of magic being used on you!" She shouted.

Reiko put away her pistol and while being surrounded by soldiers to protect her began to chant in a strange and almost alien sounding langague as she perform a few old gestures with her free hand, making symbols and signs with her fingers. Once Reiko was done with the chanting one of the mages began to scream as insanity cloud their mind, hurling fireball, blasts of ice and even bolts of lightening at their ally.

"Alright, now things are getting interesting. You bastards think you had the magic advantage? I have a lot more spells to use on all of you!" She shouted. Reiko soon launched another curse that made a archer scream in pain as their body began to blacken as they were cooked in the inside out, their charred skin slouching out in some areas. The sight made some members run away in terror only to be gun down by the soldiers.

The other humvee kept moving around as the machine gunner kept firing at the archers and mages as the truck ran over any undead it found, fireballs bouncing off the armor of the truck as mages try to recreate the previous success that they had with the first vehicle.

Reiko cast the same curse on another mage as they too began to use their magic against their allies. The archers now knowing what she was doing tried to focus their arrows on her but with arrow fired they gave away their position and were quickly gun down by the soldiers. Reiko and the soldiers either dodged the arrows or one soldier took the hit to defend her as they didn't want to lose their mage.

Once more she cast the insanity curse and this time a necromancers flew prey as they command their servants to attack their own allies along with the group, even summoning new undead to attack his closet allies believing them to be the enemy.

Inside the humvee Elizabeth had the arrow removed and her thigh bandage, by sheer luck the arrow manage to avoid hitting a major artery. "Give me once of those rifles. I need something with more kick than a pistol." The soldier next to her gave her a carbine version of the standard issue rifles that AEGIS uses and with the window down Elizabeth began to open fire on the undead and their Stormcloak creators and masters in the safety of the humvee.

Elizabeth saw that some of the bullets hit their target and went she saw a fireball coming down towards her the amulet's magic pulled it down to the door if the humvee as she moved back, yet inside she can feel the burst of heat coming from the collision. The mage waited for a while and once the heat cool down somewhat she return to firing at everything trying to kill the group.

Elizabeth saw from the air a ghost flying towards her, she did nothing as the ghost harmlessly went past her; the amulet and the numerous wards and spiritual protection she placed on herself ensure that no entity can posses her. Yet when she heard the soldier next to her drop their gun and them beginning to scream loudly while convulsing as though they were struck by a seizure she knew the ghost picked a new target.

"Bollocks." The witch turn her attention back to the possessed soldier as he convulsed on his seat. " Elizabeth got up and walked to the man and sat on his lap, her legs at the side of the soldiers own. "I'm addressing the entity inside. Who are you? Tell me who you are?" She asked, her voice cold and professional.

The soldier stopped convulsing and screaming, their raised head slowly moving down. Once Elizabeth and the soldier were staring at each other the soldier gave the witch a smile, Elizabeth can tell that the one smiling at her was not the soldier.

Elizabeth glared at the soldier and placed both the tips of her fingers on his forehead and chest. "Hear my words." The words carried a strange power which made the soldier gasp, the ghost doing so and forcing the possessed soldier to follow suit.

"In the name of the Creator, you are hereby commanded to leave this place. By the blood of Man, be not and be gone!" Elizabeth said as she got louder with each word, the possessed soldier not convulsing even more as he let out a horrible scream of agony. Elizabeth also used one hand to trace a cross in the air is a part of the ghost banishment command, well one of many really with this one being basic.

The other soldiers and drives tried to ignore what was happening inside, only stepping in when the possessed soldier was trying to throw Elizabeth, the soldiers stepping forward to hold down on their struggling, possessed, comrade as he screamed. Elizabeth held on to his shoulders as the drive was making sudden and quick turns, staring at her target in the eyes. "Ab insidiis diaboli, libera nos, Domine!" She said and with those words the soldier arch his back and scream loudly, from his mouth Elizabeth saw the ghost being forcibly being ejected.

The soldier was now breathing deeply as he looked around. "What happened?" He asked, Elizabeth giving him a grin. "One of our necromancers friends out there let his pet ghost try to have a nice joy ride on your body. I politely told them to sod off."

The soldier thanked the witch, his eyes moved downward and realize the position the two where in. "Need help getting off?" The soldier said as he tried to keep his composure, keeping his mInd away from the fact that an attractive woman was on him. "Sure, cause my thigh is really screaming at me for moving around and being in this position for so long right now." The soldier helped Elizabeth return back to her helped back to her seat after the driver was done making insane turns.

Now seated Elizabeth grabbed her carbine and began to open fire at the stormcloaks once more. Back with Reiko and the soldiers that were with her that weren't killed or wounded she saw Elizabeth (J.D.) over st the bushes pointing her rifle at something. After casting another insanity spell and the curse that blacken and severely burns another Stormcloak archer she and the soldiers approach her. "Are you J.D. or Elizabeth because we reall y need to to give o e if you something so we can easi,y tell you two apart." Reiko look down at the men hiding and as she did the soldiers had their rifles aim at them.

"If I was you I would surround now before things get messy for you all." Reiko warned as she lower her hand to draw out her pistol, the other holding her now closed grimoire. The other soldiers were either still fighting against the decreasing numbers of Stormcloak archers and mages or were taking the injuried away from the fight.

Outskirts of Solitude

As Enari and the others in the Solitude group approached the city, the datapads provided by the Hub would begin to beep, and once accessed, would change from a 2D map to a 3D map to illustrate that the Aeternium signature was not only ahead of their current position, but some distance below in some underground catacombs. What it couldn't predict was that those catacombs had many undead beings from ghosts to vampires crawling around in its depths, and that a group of four skeleton warriors were located directly beneath Enari at that very moment...

Revan and Bastila
Outskirts of Helgen

When the last of the Obas units fell, all the units which had been damaged but were still functioning self-destructed to prevent their datastores or technology from falling into enemy hands. Seeing no additional units in the vicinity, Revan informed the others: "It looks like we're clear for the time being, good work everyone." Bastila then proceeded to check to see if anyone had been wounded, while Revan approached Ross and asked: "Do you still have any of those drones left? I'd like to get a better idea of the enemy's position inside the town."

Bastila then proceeded to check to see if anyone had been wounded, while Revan approached Ross and asked: "Do you still have any of those drones left? I'd like to get a better idea of the enemy's position inside the town."

During the battle some people would see some of the Obas units being ripped apart or smashed to pieces by an unseen entity. This unseen being was the tupla created by Amelia, a powerful technique that only the most powerful telepath or psychics in general can perform without resorting to the use of magic to generate similar results.

Ross and the rest of the exosuit soldiers used the enchancements of their suits to dodge plasma bolts but whenever one was hit the Goliath power armor shown both the high quality craftsmanship in both the materials and technologies that made the armor along with the runes that provide additional protection as the soldiers hit kept on walking and fighting even with the large glowing spot on their bodies.

Ross fired another round from his gauss rifle after dashing to one unit from behind and shutting the drone before it can react. Nessa hid behind cover with some soldiers and when one unit got close she she and the others ambush and surround the unit, firing from all side and taking it out even as two of their own perish in the attack and one was left critically injuried.

When the units all self destruct the soldiers cheered with Ross wanting to join but stopped when Revan addressed him. "Yeah we still have plenty of drones. I can call in some near by ones flying around to reach our location to investigate the area." Ross lift his right arm and on his forearm was a tablet-like device attached to it.

Inputting in some commands from the touchpad he said. "That should do it. All there is to do is wait." Ross said to Revan. Yet he was surprised however when he heard the rotors of a few drones near by. Turning he found a few drones flying around the remaining humvees."Looks like a few drones were left deactivated in these humvees sir." One solider said. "Huh? I thought we activated all of them? Well that would help us out greatly." Ross soon input commands from the drones and they began to fly off to investigate the area.

"You can look if you want. My OPSAT is linked to the cameras in the drones so we can see what they are seeing." He told the masked Jedi. The soldiers began to gather the wounded and the dead while collecting what was left of the Obas for study back in the hub and searching for any survivors of the attack.

Helgen
Golbatman

Golbatman cloaked himself with his cape to prevent the smoke from reaching his face after the Obas units exploded. Stalking over to Revan, he said, "They knew we were coming. Otherwise, the city wouldn't be destroyed. We should look for survivors." He stopped for a moment, then added, "If there are any."

He moved over to examine what remained of the mechanical bodies, to see if there was anything that could be salvaged. Picking up a few damaged parts from the machines, he placed them in his utility belt in order to examine them later. Something aboard the Hub was better suited to analyze it. . . if it could be analyzed.

En route to Winterhold

The healing palm strike the Prismatic Light Warrior had done indeed deliver the damage as the undead creature moans in agony. The angelic warrior grinned as she punched the zombie to the ground, and swift kick another undead creature’s leg. It collapsed just at the right time when Prismatic Light Warrior dropped her poleax on its head to finish the ghoul off. Still, the restless dead advance to the angel’s presence as their masters commanded, swing their arms and limbs at the warrior. She quickly blocks the first hit while her forcefield hold on, quickly channeling a spell into her polearm. “Take this!” She roared as she strike back at a zombie, unleashing a burst of chain lightning at the horde, frying a few down.

However, things aren’t going all so well for her allies as the Humvee crashed into the side of the mountain and all the chaos caused Akari to look back. “Oh shot!” She yelled. The enemy fodder is still a problem for her and the others, so Akari focused down to channel angelic lightning down into her poleax and smashed her weapon into the ground. As the earth cracked, a wall of lightning formed in front of the girl and moved towards the undead horde, delivering a terrible shock. It allowed her to take fly and rush back towards the team.

Who knew a bunch of bows and arrows can cause much trouble to a modern armed force. Yet it wasn’t all that surprising for Akari as their magi are capable to dish out damage. “You boys need a hand?” She asked. The obvious answer is yes as Akari held a hand out. “The Guardian of Light will protect you.” Her hand formed a small gleaming light and she focused her handy work to create a prismatic light barrier to protect a soldier carrying the injury from the volley of arrows and spells.

En route to Winterhold

The soldiers thanked Akari as they moved away from the battlefield. The stormcloak who J.D. and Reiko had found hiding in the bushes all dropped their weapons and surrounded, other members also began to surround as their numbers began to drop quickly yet there was still many more who were to stubborn to give up and still kept on fighting.

"Listen we give you whatever you want just don't use those things on us and don't cast those weird spells on us either." one of the archers pleaded. With the onslaught from the soldiers and everyone in the group only a few surviving members of the initial ambush team was left as either the mindless undead servants of stubborn necromancers command their pets to attack the group and mages and archers try to kill the group as fear grip their mind, fearing that if they surround they would be good as dead.

Elizabeth put down her carbine as she saw the battle coming to an end and even Reiko did the same with her grimoire but took out her pistol as now the battle was nothing more but clean up, plus she needs the pistol for what she is going to do. The only remaining humvee in the convey was still running over undead while the machine gun on top kept firing. Inside Elizabeth saw a anglophone and grabbed it. Looking up at the sky to see Azaleth she sighed. "Bloody wanker saved my life and all. I at least owe him a thanks at most."

Elizabeth stuck her head out and turn on the megaphone. "Oi Azaleth." she yelled, trying to get the demon's attention. Elizabeth stayed silent as she knows what to say but finds it hard to get the words in her mouth. She knew that the difficulty is due to the fact that she is going to thank a demon which is something she finds almost impossible to do. "Come on Lizzy you have been through worse." the witch took a deep breath and sigh.

"Thanks for saving my arse from a vampiric death eater." she said through the device. Reiko heard what Elizabeth said and shrugged. "Alright, all of you drop your weapons and place your heads at the back of your heads. I want you all to walk over in that location, get down on your knees, and face the mountain wall." Reiko gestured at the location with her firearm. The fearful members obeyed her orders as they march to the location and did as she instructed.

Reiko turn to J.D. "So what should we do with them? Should we let them go or do we kill them all?" Reiko whispered to J.D. to insure that none of the living stormcloaks who surround the chance hear her. The numbers of active combat stormcloaks were now almost gone as a few stragglers still keep on fighting but even they know that it was now impossible for them to win this fight, their only hope is to take out as many as they can before they finally perish.

The humvee stopped and as the soldiers from within came out and began to open fire on the last remaining members of the stormcloak willing to fight one soldier took out three drones and had them fly, to investigate how far they are from Winterhold. One mage manage to destroy a drone with a fireball and the second almost fell to the same fate but the mage was taken out before he can claim a second drone. The drones were able to fly away from the battle area and move forward to find Winterhold.

The enemy archers were smart. They were waving the white towel in surrender. Of course, it didn't hurt that they thought the assault rifle in my hands was some enchanted weapon. Seemed like the rest of the battle was winding down. Those weird dogs had been shot, or toasted, or blasted out of the water (though they were technically on land). The mages had been bested, and also shot, or toasted, or blasted out of the water. The group of mindless lemmings that looked like they could take a beating and still advance had been blasted, burned, or viscerated. Somehow, the few foolhardy archers who were left were taking a few potshots here and there, but more or less the matter was over.

A medium-tall woman wearing the AEGIS insignia who had been doing her fair share of blasting came over, and asked what they should do with the people who had surrendered. I'll call her "Blaster." The options she had come up with were letting them go or killing them outright. But I had a better idea. "We can't let them go. They'll regroup. And murdering people who have surrendered is a pretty low deal even for you AEGIS guys. Here's what I think we should do. Take all their weapons and armor and leave them. Strip them down to their undergarments, then tie them up and make them march into Winterhold. We can drop them off at a local prison and maybe gain some favor with the town. Looks like these guys have been banditos for a while, and probably attacked the townpeople as well as us. They'll be glad this road is safe now."

What bothered me now was that some of us were probably going to have to walk, now that our ride was nothing but a pile of burning scrap metal. Still, it wouldn't hurt to have the prisoners go in the middle of the group with soldiers and their assault rifles behind them. I told this to Blaster-lady, and to my identical twin, and to everyone I could see, waiting to see if they thought this was a good plan or not. I was ready.

Thomas Bishop Jr.
Helgen: Outskirts

Bishop kept taking out single targets with his Double Take, the plasma shots easily penetrating the droids. "Goddamned AI infantry." he said, his voice still transmitting. "I always said they were a danger." He missed one shot on an Obas, but the rounds ricocheted off the stone and hit another. "Watch for ricochets!" he called over the comm. "I don't want anyone getting killed by friendly fire." Some of the damaged robots started to self destruct, and Bishop stopped firing his rifle for a moment. He stared at them, having flashbacks of the IMC's Suicide Spectres being used on Militia soldiers. He watched as the injured ones blew up, and didn't snap out of it until one of the Militia Marines called to him over the radio. "Rook 6, this is Misfit Actual is everything ok? You've stopped firing and we could use the help!" Bishop shook his head to drag himself back to reality. "Yea, I was watching these things move, trying to figure them out." he lied, then took a shot.

Eventually the battle died down, and he switched his radio off of open mic. "Is anyone hurt? Did those things get anyone?" he asked. After a second's pause, the radio crackled to life. "Misfit 1-3 is down. Shot in the gut. He bled out." replied the sergeant. Bishop lowered his head. "Shit. He was getting married next week." he said.

Spyglass
The Hub: Conference Room

Spyglass knew that the Ghost was intentionally being evasive, and would make further attempts at questioning later. "I see," he replied. "A divergent collective intelligence." The robot was avoiding being very informative on data that it most likely had, and the motives for such were unknown. It was likely paranoia, because if such information was classified it would have outright stated such. An artificial intelligence does not forget things unless purposefully made to do so, and such an occurrence seemed counter-intuitive to the purpose that the Ghost/Guardian dynamic served. Spyglass noted that the pair warranted further observation, an easy task given the increased IMC presence on the Hub now. Between the Drones scanning as much of the station as they could access and the automated infantry units stationed around, Spyglass' observational range was far greater than it was before the expedition force left.

En route to Winterhold

The final sound of a bullet being shot from the barrel of a gun was the signal of the last act of the battle, the agonized scream of a necromancer clinching their bleeding chest as a heated metal slug tore through their heart and through their back. As the necromancer fell his arcane hold over the reanimated corpses and the deceased spirits, all bind to his will, shattered to pieces and the fragments of the arcane work scattered to the ether. The undead fell to pieces as no magical means held them together and the spirits were now free to move back to the great beyond as no one bound them to the realm of the living.

The dead stormcloaks were all taken to a pile that was made where the soldiers of AEGIS threw them, to insure that the bodies don't block the passage for any other traveler. The bodies of the dead soldiers were also moved to another side opposite from the Stormcloak, all of those who are alive thanks to their act of surrounding were dragged to the same spot where the first group that surrounded were, some having to be carried due to their injuries with a few even missing limbs.

Reiko didn't say anything about the act of killing surrounded soldiers being low for AEGIS standards. The woman knew that when it comes to the mission some people were willing to do whatever it takes to fulfill it. But the woman didn't need to bring up that dark side of the organization since for one that was something that shouldn't be mention and second she doesn't need to cause an argument about morality and ethics and what is right when dealing with the threats AEGIS faces on a daily basis. When J.D. began to tell Reiko what to do with the survivors the last surviving humvee parked right next to them, Elizabeth and the soldiers came out and walked to them, though the witch was limping due to her injured leg.

"Hmm, your plan sounds reasonable enough. Though I question why we have to make them walk around in their underwear?" When one of the soldiers who arrived ask what she was talking and Reiko told them what J.D. suggested. Elizabeth and some of them laughed at the suggestion. "I agree with J.D. since we don't have to deal with more bodies and because that plan is more amusing." the other soldiers agree and even approve of the plan of the survivors being forced into their underwear. Many were feeling spiteful and wanted the survivors to suffer in anyway and humiliation was just one of the more acceptable way to make them pay for killing some of their own.

"Fine we will make them walk in their underwear but any suggestions of forcing them to walk nude would be instantly shot down. Take all of their weapons, armors, and clothing." the soldiers all began to do as ordered, ignoring the pleads of some of the survivors to not take their belongings, others to afraid to say anything due to the rifles and the bespectacled woman who knows of an alien style of magic that causes men to be burn to cinder without conjuring fire and to go dangerously mad.

Reiko turn her attention back to J.D. "While we have a humvee left we can't use it. The injured who can't be easily healed to walk back would need it to return back to the hub for medical attention. " she explained. Reiko took out her tablet which was made to be more rugged and tough than a conventional tablet so it can endure more blows. Looking at it she soon saw the point of views of the drones and smiled. "We're lucky, the town isn't too far away from here. It's just a couple of miles away. I think we can get there before sun down and..." Before she can speak anymore a terrible pain erupted in her head.

The pain was so intense that she dropped the tablet as she grabbed her head, screaming due to the intense agony that she was feeling. "Reiko!" Elizabeth shouted, ignoring the protest from her thigh as she knelt down to her friend and placed her hands on her shoulder. Elizabeth saw blood leaking out from Reiko's ear holes, nostrils, and from her eyes. The witch tried to think on what was happening but her attention soon turn to the grimoire as a dark aura surrounded it, a black smoke with blood red embers surrounded the accursed tome of eldritch lore and arcane formulas, as it emitted a guttural snarl as the leather bindings began to form reptilian scales and the cover began to mold into that of flesh with a sickly yellow eye opening to stare back at Elizabeth.

For the soldiers and all who lack the extra sensory abilities to see occult forces and phenomena they would see the grimoire as a regular book but those who can see these invisible forces can tell that the book was heavily steep in magic, so much so that it has changed as a result of the eldritch energies. Elizabeth can tell that the book was the reason for her friend's pain and reach to grab the back when suddenly she to was hit by the same pain but of a lesser intensity, a warning from the book to leave it alone.

Yet Ashwood was a stubborn witch and so she kept reaching out for the book even as the pain grew and like Reiko blood began to leak from her offices. Yet soon she fell to her side clutching her head as the pain grew to be unbearable for her as she was reduced to screaming at the top of her lungs, begging for the pain to end as tears also fell from her eyes, mixing with the blood that was also falling down.

Reiko saw what happened to Elizabeth and took out the book. "No, you leave her alone! This is my price to pay, she has nothing to do with this." Reiko began to chant in the same strange and alien language once more, this time her tone was more pleading, as though she was praying for some deity for an important favor. Elizabeth let out a final scream as she remain motionless on the group save for the rising and fall of her chest. Reiko also let out one last scream as she fell back, dropping the book. The soldiers surround the fallen mage and agent as they asked if she was with them. One soldier put their arms around her waist and shoulder and another grabbed the back of her head, the two lifting her up.

Reiko weakly looked up, the world appearing as a smug blur as her glasses fell off her face. She tried to look for Elizabeth but only saw a blurred, darken smug that was her. "Elizabeth..." Reiko tried to reach out for her friend but was stopped by the other soldiers who wanted her to save her strength. The other soldiers went over to check on Elizabeth as they rose the upper half of her body, one checking on her eyes with a flashlight. "Her eyes aren't responding shit!" the one soldier said.

A fearful archer, almost on the verge of wetting themselves, asked what happen. "We don't know how magic works in your world but from our world magic always comes with a price. Whether it is immediate or it comes later on, maybe you won't pay it for months or years, but soon you will pay the price." the soldier said. One soldier grabbed the book. "What you saw is what happens when one tries to stop a payment from being fulfilled. Normally it only effects the one who has to pay up but in this occasion someone else also takes part in the payment and from the look of things our trenchcoat clad witch ended up paying more than the one who cast the spell."

One soldier turn to Akari. "Hey can you heal these two?" they asked. Reiko lean up and whispered to another soldier. "We also need some of our soldiers who can be healed quickly to be treated as well, the rest will be taken by to the conduit site."

En route Shor's Stone

Hex decided that at this point the cavalry was getting too close so after removing the sniper configuration she turn and ran towards the truck. Hex stopped when she was at the side of the truck and fired a whole clip of bullets at the horsemen, some of the riders falling off their horses while some of the horses also fell to the ground dead along with their rider. A few horses stopped as they rose up in fear while other kept on going. Hex fired yet another airburst grenade to the charging horsemen and soon turn her back and ran, all while inserting a new clip.

Hex began to fire her bullets at the bandits as they charged towards her. Hex reached to her coat and threw a grenade only instead of exploding into a fiery blast a bright flash came out to blind the bandits as Hex took advantage of the temporary blindness to not only shot some of the bandits but to evade others to reach the gate. Hex rush to the nearest cover available to her and took a peek from behind to see who was out there.

Shor's Stone: Bandit Camp

The Marines had intended to let the cavalrymen approach and speak, but it seems that sentiment was not shared among the rest of the group. When Hex opened fire, they lined up a shot with the gun on the Samson and fired it. The Anti-Titan round made quick work of the horse and its rider, leaving a grisly pair of corpses. "Tac-6 we're taking fire from the cavalry units and the bandits! They're dropping like flies!" called the sergeant, barely audible over the automatic weapons fire and the occasional report of the mounted gun. There was a moment of silence before the Commander addressed the entire Skyrim group. "Tac-6 to all channels, Shor's Stone group is delayed by a bandit raid, and a cavalry unit has rode in to attack as well. What's your status? Over."

Brynn kept shooting bandits, but occasionally glanced behind her to see how the rear flank was holding up against the Stormcloaks. She believed that the Marines could easily hold their own against the assault, but was ready to shift targets if they ran into some form of trouble.

Thomas Bishop Jr.
Helgen: Outskirts

Bishop heard Blisk's voice and grimaced. Just the man he didn't want to hear from. The Shor's Stone group were shooting bandits, probably barely armed compared to what the IMC brought against them. They had it easy compared to this group, they were witnessing a massacre first hand. He tapped his radio. "Helgen is occupied by robots, they're killing everyone. The shooting has stopped for now, we're about ready to push in." he said flatly, despising that he was communicating with a man who was responsible for ordering and carrying out scenes like which was unfolding in front of him.

Blisk responded to the sitrep quickly, "Robots, eh? Well, it seems you're onto to something then. I doubt this backwater hellhole has ever seen a robot, so you've hit the jackpot. If the bastards went through the trouble of tossing the village, then they gotta have a reason. Push on. Blisk out." he said calmly. Bishop felt sick. The village was burning and people lay dying, but it didn't seem to matter. Typical IMC he thought.

Torii - Helgen

The battle drew to a climatic close as the enemy units began to destruct, but it offered little solace to Torii. They'd still been shot at, and they still didn't arrive in time to save anyone, it had seemed. That fact stuck her, and left the girl feeling incredibly bitter as she hopped to. She brushed some cold dirt off of her top and slung her rifle, as she stepped around some brush and stray bits of cobbled stone.

"We could have been faster.", She said aloud, clearly annoyed. She stepped back a corpse, keeping her arms crossed. There was nothing much that they could do now, except move into the town and search for their signature.

Her gaze shifted from Revan, to Bishop, and finally to Golbatman...the superhero looking fellow who had been wary before they'd set out. She raised an eyebrow. "If you think there are any survivors, I would be able to help."

Iko - Solitude

In came the signal, and Iko's attention was almost immediately focused on the 3D map that they had been provided. She showed no sign of emotion, not particularly intrigued or surprised by the signature's location. "I hope that you are not afraid of the dead." She said to Yoshi, continuing her approach to the city. "Or the dark. I should be able to light the way and pacify any threats in either situation."

Helgen

Just as the IMC was getting reports from the separated groups on what is their status AEGIS was also sharing status reports from their end. "I'm inside the bandit's camp and taking cover. Right now I'm with Shirou trying to destroy their base. We have one member of the bandits who surrounded temporarily working with us mostly because we promised her freedom in exchange for working with us." Ross heard from Hex.

"You're planning on letting go of your hostage ma'am?" Ross didn't see it but he could have sworn to have felt Hex shrugging at the other side. "Maybe. It depends on how useful she is. If she tries to turn on us or run away I will shot, if she is a lousy help than I will throw her to the town folks and let their judicial system deal with her." One soldier asked if she has a picture of the bandit and from their AR visors they saw the photo of the female elf archer that they have prisoner.

Both Ross and Hex heard someone whistle. "Damn, why do elves always have to be hot?" Hex rolled her eyes at that comment while Ross chuckled. "Yes she is easy on the eyes and I'm sure you wouldn't find it difficult not having your eye on her but do remember that she is a bandit who most likely has killed people and won't find it so difficult to take your life if you had the chance to meet her. Too bad for our elf that she had to meet the captain."

Ross and Hex soon heard from another soldier. "After the shit I had to deal with I would have shot her right there on the spot." the soldier reported what happened in the Winterhold group. "What! You guys manage to loss a humvee to a bunch of mages and archers! Hows?" Ross said, quickly getting his answer. "Vampires? So you guys had to deal with zombies, skeletons, mages, archers, and vampires? For the love of god please don't tell me none of those blood suckers bit anyone." Ross let out a sigh when he heard that no one was bit. "But these vampires were casting a strange spell." Both Ross and Hex had a bad feeling about the spell and when they asked on what it did hearing the explanation of the effect only made them more suspicious.

"Get someone to check on those that were hit by that spell. So that group just got lucky and timed their spells correctly to destroy a humvee. Jesus Christ this is a pain. We already lost another to a plasma bolt from a robot. Yes we fought against robots in Helgen." Ross told everyone what happen and even send in the recorded fight to the others. "I'm willing to bet that the Ascendants are responsible for this." The others had the same idea on who could have unleashed the robots.

"Also Reiko had to use that tome and well it was fulfilling its own part of the price and Ashwood tried to stop it, you all can guess what happened afterwards." Ross swear when he heard the news. "This condition?" The soldier responded. "Reiko has regain consciousness but not Ashwood, in fact she is unresponsive. So far we are glad that we dealt with the ambush party on our end and are going to force the survivors to town so they can deal with them."

Ross soon heard from Hex. "I want you to question the survivors. Figure out who they are and why they attacked you." The soldier agreed with the command. "Ross you figure out more on what happen in your location and I will contact you once more after I'm done with my distraction." Ross nodded after Hex hang up. When Torii asked if there were survivors Ross responded back with. "I don't know. But we're going to see if there any left in the town."

Ross walked over to the other power armor soldiers. "Come one, we don't know if there are any stragglers so don't get too comfy." Nessa walked over to Torii. "Well looks like I got the orders from Mr. Power Armor himself to go with you and Bishop. So where is Sunshine hiding?" she asked.

Torii

"Sunshine?"

Torii hopped back a bit. She didn't see the woman approached, and it had startled her. "Bishop? He was with the rest of us, I thought.", She said. She looked around, counting everyone else in her head. "Bishop?", She called out; she felt awkward, calling for people she hardly knew, though she let the thought slip as she focused once again on the town. "And what about you?", She looked back at the superhero man.

Bishop stayed concealed in the bushes even after the fighting stopped. He didn't particularly want to see the gruesome results of another slaughter. He'd seen too many colonies razed by the IMC, and didn't to add Helgen to the list of place he saw in ruins with bodies filling the streets. After the ground teams talked a bit Torii called his name. She was looking for him apparently. He pressed the radio in his ear. "I'm half a klick to your west." he said, standing up so she could find him. His ghillie suit had aided his ability to hide from the view of people in the town, and allowed him to provide overwatch unseen. "Did something come up? Are you hit?" he asked.

Revan and Bastila
Skyrim
Outskirts of Helgen

Revan looked over the images coming in from the drone while Ross spoke with Hex. As he noted the positions of the hostile robots, he pulled out his datapad and cross-referenced the data to find out where the Aeternium signature was. Once he had that figured out, he started working out a plan of attack, while Bastila used her Force Heal ability on the wounded troops to stabilize their injuries and get them back into fighting shape. After Ross had finished speaking, Revan showed him the screen and pointed to it as he outlined his plan to him and the others over the radio: "Alright, as you can see, most of the battle droids have taken position on the main wall and turrets, likely to secure the town from counter-attack. There's good cover on the approach to the main gate, but given the importance of getting to the signature quickly, I'd rather not commit our entire force to a frontal assault. I propose that we lead a diversionary assault on the main gate, while Bastila leads a strike team through the nearby woods then through the lightly defended palisade to the west and into the city. Once they're in the city, the diversionary force will keep the Descendants pinned down on the wall, while the strike team proceeds to the signature location to rescue the god within. Once the god is safe, the strike team can rescue anyone else still alive in the town, then strike at the rear of the Descendant forces on the wall to finish off any still remaining."

Bishop, I recommend you stay on overwatch for the diversionary force and take out as many droids on the wall as possible while we work to keep them pinned down; if you're alright with separating, the rest of your group can join the strike team. Golbatman, you can stick with the diversionary force and use those smoke grenades to provide additional cover. Torii, I'd appreciate it if you'd stick with the strike team and provide overwatch for them if possible. Nessa should stick with the strike team as well, should the opportunity to speak with the god present itself, but I recommend Ross and the rest of his men join the diversionary force. Any questions?"

The Watchman
Conference Room
The Hub

The Watchman checked his guns, spinning the barrel on one of them. "Surely, they wouldn't mind if I slip away momentarily." the Watchman thought, as he decided to walk slowly to the door out of the conference room. Getting himself in a corridor, he decided to explore the Hub for more points of interests, seeing how he gotten his guns back. While being passive to anyone in the corridors, he managed to find himself at a door leading into the holodeck suite. Entering the open area inside of the suite, he observed the area.

"What goes on in this room, actually. Surely, it has a purpose of some kind." the Watchman laments.

Quote of the Week: "A NEW STORY ON WRITING THREAD FOR HALLOWEEN!! MYSTERY MINE AVAILABLE NOW!"

RPs I do
- How do you do fellow kids? You want to see something violent? - Artemis: Deimos Trafficking League (Horror/Mature)
- Descend into the forgotten tourist traps of Florida on this transgressive RP! - The Community (Mature/Black Comedy/Slice-of-Life)

My overall account that I use for P2TM and even for international roleplaying! MNM is a mysterious and extremely dangerous dictatorship filled with supernatural oddities, demons, militarized soldiers everywhere, and a misanthropic nihilistic dictator who doesn't give a damn. It's basically if the SCP Foundation got mixed with 1984.

Golbatman-Helgen
Golbatman nodded, but said nothing at Revan's order to stay with the diversionary force. His smoke bombs were the least he could do. In fact, he had an entire army strapped to his belt, well, six anyway. He just hadn't needed them yet. He could easily turn it into a defeat for the "Battle Droids."

His thoughts turned to the self-destructing enemies earlier. What he needed, was to take the memory chip or something of equal importance, especially if these droids were programmed to blow themselves up to keep them away from the enemy. If he could sneak up on one, or keep it occupied while he removed the head, he could examine it later. It could lead to a more effective way to wipe out more of them, too.

He studied the wall, pinpointing the most likely place to knock out the targets. Once the battle was in full heat, he would throw out his smoke bombs and vanish. He would slip behind the enemy lines and take one of their heads. He was certain that the diversionary force could easily handle themselves without him; in fact, he would use Golbat to keep an eye on them.

Turning to the rest of the diversionary force, he asked, "What's our plan of attack?" In reality, he meant, "What's YOUR plan of attack," but he wanted to keep his secondary plan a secret until after the mission went into full swing.
