I'd like to note that Energy Daggers and Swords don't just stab and burn. With the heat they're at it wouldn't be uncommon for sections of internal organs to sublimate and for internal body temperature to spike to very unsafe levels. Survival isn't impossible, but fighting back in such a situation would be. He'd likely be missing a chunk of his intestinal tract as well. Just a slight heads up.

In combination with the BR55 Battle Rifle, this round is accurate enough that the 2x scope on the Battle Rifle is useful. Even when fired in three-shot bursts, the round produces little recoil resulting in very little muzzle lift; it is more effective against both shielded and unshielded Covenant personnel than the 7.62x51mm NATO, as the increased accuracy leads to an increased number of headshots and the increased kinetic energy of the round leads to faster shield depletion and increased damage to unshielded enemies. It has been shown that a BR55 Service Rifle with M634 ammunition does enough damage to kill an opponent faster than an MA5C Assault rifle using 7.62x51mm NATO ammunition. Overall, the M634 Experimental High-Powered Semi-Armor-Piercing round provides good accuracy, controllability, and effectiveness against all personnel.

PSYCH EVALUATION:
Anthony is a resourceful man. When he puts his mind to a task he can drive towards a solution expending as little resources as possible in the fastest way possible. This single minded determination however leaves him blindsided to other issues and he quickly blocks out problems until he solves the current task. This coping mechanism while keeping him cool and efficient in times of crisis it can lead to disaster and should be kept in check. His attitude towards the UNSC is torn between their abandonment of his home system and by extension his brother and their saving of the planet.
There is however little risk of him holding insurectionist sympathies.

BIOGRAPHY:
Anthony was born on September 18, 2521, on Arcadia to Mary and David Morton. Their second child, the first being Paul born eight years prior. Their family relied on David to provide income through his job in the Arcadian patrol while Mary worked part-time as a nurse in the regional hospital. The family lived a content existence in the outskirts of Pirth City and kept close ties with the local farmers who would care for Anthony and Paul when both parents worked. When Anthony was Four an insurrectionist bomb was detonated in Pirth City targeting a UNSC patrol, when civilian and security including David rushed to help the wounded a second bomb detonated. The death of his father, killed in the second blast along with forty other people would instil a great hatred of the insurrectionists in Anthony. Losing the primary breadwinner his mother was forced to take up full-time in the hospital and overtime to keep them afloat. Paul became the primary carer of Antony, hiding him when the sounds of ODST troops battling the insurrectionists drew too close, they lived a difficult life. His mother struggled to provide for them and Anthony found himself getting into fights with other children who exposed views sympathetic to the insurrection, often losing. It was only when Paul was finally old enough to enlist into the Arcadian patrol himself as a cadet at 16 did life improve somewhat and Anthony finally pursued further schooling. Though the war had not reached Arcadia it had still began to affect them as demands for supplies increased to meet UNSC demands, farmers became less welcoming to them and even openly hostile to Paul.

In 2531 following the arrival of the Covenant at Arcadia Anthony now ten was evacuated on board a civilian shuttle following the successful defence by the UNSC Spirit of Fire, his brother apart of the Arcadian Patrol and holding the line against the advancing covenant never made it to the evacuation. His mother escaped on a separate shuttle and was reunited with him as they spent the next years as refugees fleeing from system to system in fear of the covenant advance. His brother has not been heard of since, the planet abandoned by the UNSC, attempts to appeal for an investigation were repeatedly rejected causing friction between the Mortons and their rescuers. By 2539, although still bitter over the loss of his brother Anthony would enlist into the UNSC Navy as a technician following his 18th birthday. Quickly proving to be a capable asset to the crew he would specialise as an engineer and transfer from a cargo vessel to the UNSC Thermopylae in 2541. Shortly after joining the crew he would see combat in the Scorpii system against the Covenant, during the attack the ship suffered damage including the failure of it's weapon control systems. The loss of the defenceless ship was prevented by him making a temporary repair to the disabled weapon systems by canalising a PDA for parts. Much to his dismay an Insurrectionist fleet relieved them taking much of the credit for their survival. Following the battle he saved the UNSC Io which was under full evacuation after its damaged Translight Engine showed signs of becoming unstable. Successfully stabilising the engine he managed to prevent the loss of hundreds of lives and potentially the battle group.

In recognition for his efforts the Navy promoted him to Chief Petty Officer and made him a senior engineer, second to the head of engineering on the ship. After a brief leave while the UNSC Thermopylae went to shipyard, he returned to crew her service. His actions in Scorpii and successful deployment of modified UNSC missiles to detect and exploit gaps in covenant shields when they dropped to open fire gained the attention of ONI Section III who would facilitate his induction to the Black Initiative shortly after his promotion to Ensign. Using a guise of a transfer to a new posting to take him from his newly gained position as Head of Engineering.

PSYCH EVALUATION: Gavin is a 23 years old Caucasian adult, who was referred for a
psychological evaluation to determine his current cognitive and emotional status, in order to serve with -REDACTED-
Gavin has developed an acute case of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. However, the high points of the assessment show extreme amounts of motivation and dedication, it appears Gavin utilizes tasks ahead of him to combat his mental disorder. The contributing factors include loss of family, loss of brothers on the battlefield and his inability to save casualties despite his best effort.

BIOGRAPHY: Born to a close knit family on Mars, Gavin's parents both served, his mother as a Naval Officer and his father as a local Police Officer. From a young age he learned the value of teamwork and compassion, mostly by observing his parents move upwards in their respective career tracks. As the Human-Covenant war raged on and grew in scale, the less Gavin saw his parents, especially his mother, always off on her secret missions for the good of humanity, he didn't care at that age, all he wanted was to see his mother. Several years went by, and on Gavin's 14th birthday, his father was killed in the line of duty, on that day he swore to himself that he would make a difference in the galaxy, to avenge his fathers death and make his remaining family members proud.

He kept himself extremely busy over the next few years, splitting his time between taking care of his siblings while his mother was away on mission, fastidiously studying older military tactics, in addition with his regular schoolwork, and finally, physical training was a large part of his daily routine. Years went by as his eye was still aimed at military service, refining his objective to the United Nations Space Command Navy more specifically, recruitment pamphlets pulled him in that direction, to serve as a Fleet Marine Force Naval Corpsman. He knew that would be his ticket to the frontlines, serving with The Marines and making sure they can stay in the fight.

His first deployment was with The UNSCMC on the planet Skopje, heavy fighting force The Marines to retreat into a large stone castle, waves of wounded Marines and ODST's, some of whom were dead kept flooding in. It was on this planet that Gavin first learned of the existence of the SPARTAN program, as one of them left the base to recover any ODST's pinned down. Against orders from his superiors and even the unknown SPARTAN Gavin loaded up his gear and followed the super soldier, finding some of the most critically wounded ODST's and hauling them on his own back to base, often while under enemy fire.

This action spurred interest in him from all branches involved, the Marine Corps, the Navy, and most importantly, ONI. Once the planet was lost to the Covenant, many survivors escaped aboard the UNSC Chares during this time Gavin's files were accessed by an unknown ONI agent stationed aboard the ship and was immediately reassigned to the Office of Naval Intelligence. From there on, all official records have been redacted.

Division Quasar has been deployed to Pairs IV with orders to exfiltrate an ONI field operative currently in possession of intel deemed vital to the human war effort. The operative, identified only by his codename Mars, has taken refuge in the basement of the Marat Technological Institute in the besieged city of Avon. The city has largely fallen to Covenant occupation and UNSC forces are currently involved in the mass evacuation of civilians.
