Personality: Aggressive, lackadaisical, loyal
Abilities: Super strength, Super durability, Rage, regeneration through rest and eating, Claw Rend
Additional Details: He is one of the oldest Companios in existence, one of the first created, so many years ago. He was created, like most others of his kind to do most of the heavy work, to be the muscle so to speak. They cleared roads and trees adn helped the other Companios in their efforts. He helped them, but he became weary after so many years of work, when it ended he carved out a cave and rested. Time passed until he encountered another of his kind and settled, but as he aged, his mate died and his family moved elsewhere, so once more he rested. His rest and carefree life was unfortunately not to last, it would be interupted by the Original Numans, those who would become the Horde. It was on one of his outings that he encountered them, the Numans.
He fought against them, and he won, but at a cost, he was gravely injured, but was not able to heal for some time, until he could create another Cave. He found a small natural cave and rested, healing his wounds, he expanded the cave to make it better. For a while after he awoke he would wander and create other caves, some he would use others would be used by other Companio. He would occassionally encounter Numans of the Horde again, but would always escape, or not be seen, a surprising thing given his size. The next while would pass the same way the previous years had, with him resting, eating and wandering, as well as fighting when he must. One time when he awoke he encountered strange beings, who were akin to Companio, but more like the Numan in a sense.
He followed them when he saw them, he was curious, as they were similar in so many ways, yet different a well. His curiosity had a cost however, he fell into a trap, an ambush set by the Horde, but he escaped, but was greatly injured. It was then that he met her, the one who would become his companion and who he would become the companion of. In time they parted, and he went back to his old routine, sleeping and only waking on rare occasions, apart from the necessities. Then one day he just slept, he slept deep, not waking for a long time, until recently.

Harbertia wrote:Social Conduct
In the world of Companio there are a few rules that are understood but never spoken- barriers that if passed often result in lose or difficulty of the 'social stigma' type.
- Numans never fight Companio in hand to hand combat. The two species are bonded in such a way that these types of engagements are mentally scaring to both and generally avoided. The only exception to this bonding where the original 200 Numans who lacked the genetic bonding- these 200 became the horde and their decedents continue to carry a lack of empathy towards these creatures known as Companio.
- Numans who fight a Companio hand to hand rather then allow their Companio guardian to fight them are as barbaric as the Innumanoids and likely abuse the Companio around them. They are bad people and would be better off in the Horde.
- Innumanoids fight Companio hand to hand thus they are less civilized then Numans. If a Numan need capture a Companio (such as the Horde does) they'll use traps to do so- traps define intellectual superiority over the beasts.
- Physical combat implies barbarity.
- Companio have an innate joy in making Numans happy but such instincts are destroyed by abuse- which is why the Companio of the Horde are at large glum bitter and depressive.
- Innumanoids breed with Innumanoids, Numans breed with Numans, and Companio breed with any other kind of Companio they please because Companio are subnuman and any one who 'breeds down' (Numan with an Innumanoid) is too animal to be considered Numan themselves.
- Due to this Innumanoids who do have a Companio ally are looked on with suspicion in most cases and rumored to be 'breeding down' though this is often a false rumor when it arises and generally seen as an Innuman stereotype which it's self emerged from actual examples in the past.
I was reluctant to post these as I felt they made the setting sound mean spirited. Is it or is it just a different society with rules of conduct that we as role players must understand in order to portray that society? I think it's the latter of those two; a society that roleplayers need to understand in order to portray.

I will edit the Bio and repost it later, hopefully it should be better.

Will add more and/or change it if need be, I took some of the stuff out.

Kylantha wrote:Name: Rory
Age: 13
Sex: Male
Type: Numan
Territory: The Alliance
Appearance:
Rory is boy of average height and lean build. He has long golden hair and eyes, and wears odd, monotonous clothing. He wears claws on his hands and feet which help him hold on to his Companio better and climb up steep inclines and walls.
Personality:
Often lax and detached from the world around him, Rory is a carefree boy who spends much of his time just exploring and lounging wherever he sees fit. Rory detests authority, and so avoids it at all costs by following a nomadic lifestyle with his Companio, Terbius. He is very rarely seen in populated locations, and when he is, usually he's purchasing useful supplies or causing trouble for the locals. Some towns have identified him as a nuisance, and try to keep him and his cumbersome Companio out of the premises. To other travelers like himself, Rory is very friendly and generous. He doesn't expect payment for helping others, and always does his best to be able to make things easier for other people. Although he doesn't really want to give anyone grief, he's just naturally playful and would like to be independent. With his Companio Terbius, Rory is very caring and gentle. He respects the Companio, and the Companio respects him. As a result, they work very well in combat, but usually try not to cause long-term damage to their opponents.
Additional Details:
Rory is probably Irish or Scottish judging by his accent.
Companio: Terbius
Appearance:
Standing up to six feet tall and weighing in at thirty-two tonnes, Terbius, Companio of Rory, is one heck of a beast. He is made primarily out of various rocks, minerals, and metals, making him extremely durable, yet he strangely remains quick and agile.
Sex: Likely male.
Personality:
Terbius may appear stone cold, but inside, is very warm and playful. His taciturn nature is likely due to the fact that his mouth is inanimate. He can't really speak, instead growling, grunting, or huffing most of the time. Somehow, Rory understands every single sound he makes. Like his friend, Terbius is quite friendly and fond of silence and nature. He enjoys wandering with Rory and sitting down by riversides, in grassy clearings, and on hilltops. Whenever they encounter other people, they usually help out as best they can and make a lot of friends in doing so. With opponents, Terbius usually takes a defensive stance unless told otherwise. Because of his nature, he tries not to inflict too much damage on the enemy.
Abilities:
Terbius can manipulate rocks and metals to defend or attack. He's an excellent fighter, and has a good taste in furniture.
