Widjt is the species name hahaha Ralph would be an odd name for such a species but fitting for this individual.

I think it's pronounced Wid'jet. I think that makes it easier to pronounce; Widjet- though even that sounds a bit odd. I just don't know what the Wadjets are in Egyptian mythology to give the species that name.

I didn't realize you had questions about them, I apologize for the delayed response but now I am responding and can answer more questions.

For widjt, it was just that. Entries will be added later.

could a Companio have a Companio companion?

Also I have added Kanilin and Widjt to the Compandium?

I will add more to their info later. I could also use any information that could fill in the gaps.

Thirsty... I'm thirsty...

He awoke surrounded by forest wood, his head completely dazed as he wondered how he got where he was. Looking about he noticed the trees moving past him only to realize he had been walking all this time. His throat was parched from the heat and his feet were sore and blistered, with fatigue overcoming his lower legs. Their movement felt near automated and it took him several minutes to will them to halt. Rubbing his forehead his vision began to clear and he came to a stark observation.

''I'm... naked?'' he said looking down, his voice more confused than embarrassed. ''Why am I naked? Where am I...''

The real question then dawned on him: ''No... I don't know... wait, who am I?''

He knew instinctively there was something wrong about wandering about nude and alone in a forest with a hazy memory. Trying remember how he got here all he could recall was still walking. It was then he noticed something shiny clutched tightly in his left palm, a golden badge. Examining it up close he recognized it was star shaped and could read the engraved inscription: Chambers & Maxwell. He knew those were names but were they his?

Hear you are :D

Shadowwell wrote:
The Compandium

Prior to releasing the Companios into the Wilds that the land had become since the Great Devastation, the mysterious figures behind the Cavern and Holm created a database of source to house the existing Companio types, and some of their habits. Over time more data and entries have been added to this, resulting in what you see here, the Compandium, so named after the Companios.

Arkton
(Image)

Sex: Male/Female
General Personality: Aggressive, lackadaisical, loyal, Honorable, intelligence, adaptable

Common Abilities: Super strength, Super durability, Rage, regeneration through rest and eating, Claw Rend, Enhanced Roar

Companio Base Ursidae/Grizzly bear

Species History: Many of the Companio were created to suit a specific purpose or to fit a theme, the Karilin for example are lightning quick, both physically and ability wise, the Arkton were no different. They were created to the theme of Power and Durability. Their massive strength came in useful whether clearing areas or moving things while doing the original purpose of most Companios. They appear as massive humanoid bears, their fur color differs among them, it also changes to climate. They are capable of using armor and primitive weapons. They can extend or retract their long sharp claws, they use them in combat or when eating or carving things.

They live in caves mostly, however they rarely live in naturally formed caverns, they make their own. They used their claws in conjunction with their natural abilities to carve out their future homes, it also grinds down their claws. The caves are massive and complex, to confuse intruders and to house their often massive families. The males are larger, though both genders are similar in appearance. They also tend to wander much, when not bound to a mate. Some would stay with the normal settlements of Companios, but others would still go out on their own, they are solitary yet social beings.

While normally they live almost twice as long as normal Bears, they can live for far longer. When they hibernate they can regenerate their wounds. They have rather loud roars, to the point they can create shockwaves through the air. They use their roars to communicate their moods and over long distances to others of their kind. Over time the Arkton develop a habit to carve and create thngs, be it weaponry or things that could be considered as art by others. They are also surprisingly intelligent and intuitive, many have learned to use their long claws nimbly to handle somewhat delicate tasks.

They can learn to problem solve quite well, learning over time how to do things efficiently without being noticed. They are loyal and honorable, though not to a fault; they will repay what they see as a debt. If you help and injured one, which is a dangerous task, they most likely will help you in return, there are anomalies however. Time can take its toll on any being and some Arktons can become quite bestial, this is mostly evident in the older specimens or younger ones who have been horribly mistreated. These ones can be identified by their much darker almost black fur and their red eyes.

Illumine
(Image)

Sex: Male/Female
General Personality: Cunning, caring, intellectual, mischievious

Common Abilities: Discharges energy wave that targets specific areas within brain to bring about desired moodset, e.g. joy, melancholy, disgust, rage, etc.

Companio Base Feline

Species History: These Companio were created to suit a very specific purpose, to be emotional therapy of sorts for the Numans. It was to be expected that Numans would have a possibly difficult time adjusting to the outside world, which was ravaged by the Great Devastation, no matter how pretty the other Companio could make it. They can temporarily change ones mood, through guided energy waves to specific areas of the Numan brain. While there is no exact limit to the specific modd they can bring, the effects last a short amount of time, from 10 minutes to only 1, depending upon the targets brainsize.

It is suspected that they are rather social beings, atleast among their own kind. There is another Companio, closely related that they get along with, the Shroudgrewth, they are similar, but will eb covered alter. Their abilities help in this ensuring they are close knit. While they do take many mannerisms and the like from their feline ancestors they are also rather unique. Little is known about their natural habitats, though some have been seen in environments varying from grassy plains to dark Caves. While finding communities of this Companio are not uncommon, they can be quite solitary of nature at times. Due to their close knit communities it is difficult for and outside illumine to make its home among them, though it is possible.

They appear to be pink felines, though they have large ears, and a pink gem like structure on their foreheads, differing them from normal feelings. Other things that set them apart appearance wise, would be the tufts in front of their ears and the fact that their tails diverge along the tail, making there be separate tail tips. They can also grow to the size of small dogs,
if dogs still existed, but they still are not much larger than house-cats of era's past. They are similar to cats and will rub against things to mark their territory with scent glands located in their face and to show affection.

Kanilin
(Image)

Sex: Male/Female
General Personality: Meek, hesitant, loyal to a fault, cool
Common Abilities: Extreme speed and reflexes, Electricity generation, limited hovering and voice mimicry.

Companio Base Rabbit

Species History: These Companio take much influence from their animal base, much more so than most other Companio. They are timid by nature and are capable of great speeds. If someone is kind to them, then the Kanilin will gradually grow less cautious and timid towards them. This has caused many such groups of the Companio to perish due to their nature. When threatened they will gather electricity in their tail and release it. This blast can either take the form of a bright debilitating flash or a burst of harmful fire.

In the wild they exist in large groups and roam both extensive underground warrens and large grassy plains. They are like most Companio omnivorous, though they mostly feed on root vegetables much like rabbits once did. Swarms of Kanilin have been seen attacking much larger aggressors out of their inherent need to protect.

Shroudgrewth
(Image)

Sex: Male/Female
General Personality: Cunning, intellectual, mischievious, Curious, Determined, skittish in the wild at times.

Common Abilities: They can enhance or weaken selective senses, through targeted energy waves.

Companio Base Feline/Vulpine

Species History: These Companio are very similar to their close relatives the illumine, both in appearance and how their abilities work. They have small close knit communites and are often found in forested areas or grassy plains, generally places where their abilities can be put to best use. Though they have a feline base, their tail and ears hints at a vulpine nature, which may be included in their make up. When they encounter things in the wild that they have not seen or encountered before they tend to be skittish if seen. This does not mean they give up on their curiosity, no they make use of their abilities to find out what they can about the thing that caught their interest.

When they bond with a being, Numan, Inhumanoid or otherwise they can be rather affectionate. Too affectionate at times in fact, there have been reported incident with these Companio joining a sleeping being in bed and settling down on their face or chest. Sometimes they will bat at their nose until the being wakes up to show them attention. they ahve thick soft fur which can seem to expand when threatened. This is a last ditch effort to make themselves seem larger if their abilities have proved futile. They can control their tails to a great degree, as wella s there ears, though that is in part linked to their sense related abilities.

They have extremely dark colored fur, but the perfect blackness is broken by yellowish gold rings located on their forms.
There is one of these rings located on their forehead, this one is the most notable, as it glows when they use their abilities to a great degree. The other rings are located on their ears, tail, and at the top of each leg. It is suspected that they location of these rings and the rings themselves have something to do with their abilities.

Terbius
(Image)

Sex: Unknown
General Personality: Warm, Caring, Playful, Protective
Common Abilities: Extreme control of Metals and rocks.

Companio Base Unknown

Species History: The Terbius are a strange Companio, as they are what amounts to a walking, grunting, statue made of sentient rock. Though they have mouths, they are inanimate, so they communicate through grunting and the like. This is surprisingly effective, some suspect that they can convey a sort of telepathic meaning when they speak, that allows others to properly interpret what they mean. They are rather protective of other beings, their own kind and otherwise, they make great guardian Companio.

They are rather tall, standing at 7 feet, this is not what makes them unique, as there are other taller Companio, the Arkton for example. What makes Terbius truly unique is the fact that they extremely dense, weighing in at a whopping 42 tons, despite their relatively humanoid size. This enhances their already impressive strength, with a massive weight being put behind any of their punches. They are not limited to only physical related things, they also boast an exceptional control over Metal and Rocks. They can control them and can phase through rocks, but strangely enough the same ability, does not work through metal.

Terbius can be rather playful, this can cause problems, even in the wild. In the early days of Companio, groups of Terbius had destroyed some of the things other Companio had built. It was not done with any malice, in fact it was accidental,
the Terbius is kind of known for their massive strength and other high physical attributes, as well as their lack of control concerning them. They can learn to control them over time, but it is still an inherent part of their nature.

Widjt
(Image)

Sex: Male/Female
General Personality: Cuddly, caring, thoughtful, intelligent, laidback
Common Abilities: They can climb and fly, their stares can calm down creatures and their venom induces drowsiness. They like most snake like things can coil, though the Widjt use it to show affection.

Companio Base: Snake

Species History:Widjt were created to be a sort of comfort oriented Companio. They are attracted to warm things, and their special sight lets them do this easier. they won't cuddle up to just any warm thing, it is restricted to beings they are familiar with or have affection for and their own kind. In the wild they often coil among others of their kind while they sleep. Though they are lax, that does not mean that they are inattentive, they can act quickly when the time calls for it. During the winter season they most often dwell in underground holes they make, some dwell within caves. During the warmer seasons they live in trees, both in nests on them and inside holes in the trees.

They do have uses other than simply being a comfortable cuddle buddy. They can fly reasonably well and can see heat, these two features make them rather useful scouts. When they are partnered with a Numan or other being they will often wrap around them.

Here's a list of Ky-Chan's characters to look out for. Sorry Mister Harb if I might be clogging the RP with characters. I just feel like I need to have many characters, so that if I get lost with one, I have another.

-Sigric Exeter and Solitaire
-Matthew and Mitchell Shawe and their Companiae, Theliel and Amarant

Plans for Maxwell:

Adopted into the Chambers family, who head is intrigued by his eidetic memory and extensive knowledge of Companio, is given name Maxwell after their deceased son. Max learns about the Alliance and Princesspality, bonds with a Companio, befriends and eventually develops feelings towards Irene, sets out to discover his identity, eventually runs in with Inhumanoids.

Chambers family:

Orson Chambers - 53 year old patriarch, head of Alliance police force, fearful of Inhumanoid threat, secretly working with Helvetica with whom he is infatuated and extends influence to assist in any way he can, including forging fake identity as neice. Concerned that Max’s unexplained arrival makes him a wildcard, he takes him in to learn more about him and whether he would be of any use to Helvetica.

Bella Chambers - 35 year old matriarch, unsatisfied with marriage, jealous of Helvetica, suspicious of husband, very bitter disposition, intrigued by Max’s arrival and tries to use him to spy on Orson and Helvetica.

Irene Chambers - 14 year old daughter, stoic disposition, taught to be perfect in everything, resentful towards both parents and harbors rebellious but gullible nature, has a friendly relationship with Helvetica whom she sees as an older sister. Initially hostile towards Max for having meaningful relations with both parents but gradually warms up to him.

Helvetica’s dream:

Believes the world to be inherently ‘broken’ since the Devastation, specifically since it failed to unite humanity but created inhumans and wild companios who have the power to climb over Numans in the food chain and suppress them. Desires to be revered as a savior by permanently subduing both rival species and establishing her own Queendom to surpass both the Alliance and the Horde. She sees Companios as a means to an end for rebuilding and wishes to use their power to create a utopia, intending to exterminate them afterwards.

I'm really curious about what you'll come up with - how similar they'll be to their OM&T counterparts and where they differ. Interesting how they have different surnames from the originals. Though makes me wonder... does Mia have a counterpart?

I was having trouble deciding whether or not to give Mia an equivalent here.. She'll probably have one in the near future.

I changed the surnames just for a little variety. I honestly got tired of the Evans surname. >.<

I think that's a good idea- shows that while they are counterparts they have different histories and personalities.

I mean the Companio counterpart of Max doesn't know his real name and is adopting the name of a dead guy who may or may not have been OM&T Max's true counterpart. Or perhaps quite poetically they're both his counterparts. Though I should be wary not to go overboard with reincarnating characters from past RPs into a new continuity... still it is tempting to reinterpret old characters in a new setting.

Might make a reference to the Somerfield family - give Damien a deceased counterpart named 'Damian' as a young child who died decades ago in a drowning accident (alongside the real Max)and thus still remembered as the child he never had the chance to outgrow.

So far the only police force seems to be the AMSP (Alliance Mounted Selim Patrol) which was just formed. None of the factions have an army as we'd understand an army, not Realm of Spawn, not the Alliance, or the Horde- the reason is that I can only see destruction in that case.

Extermination of the Companio means the doom of all life on the planet as the new ecology would collapse with out them.

(I suddenly want to share with you Rain World as a reference of what I see the end result being assuming that some life survives the end Helvetica brings)

Also, I reiterate- the Horde is the illness, as to are the Innumanoids- they exist outside the intended order of the world- the unity.

Helvetica's Mentality towards Innumanoids

Helvetica's Campaign utilizing wild Companio against Innumanoids with the intent of destroying them all

---

This world isn't the place for Helvetica, the end result defies the professor, and dooms us all. With out Companio, transformation of the world to green ends.

With out Companio, many of the plants die as their cycle is connected.

All life is connected for inter reliance.

In the Holm plan all serve the body, the Horde destroys the body, corrupt the spirit- kill the soul- and the would perishes.

I think it's safe to say that this project has ended. I shouldn't have allowed the Horde as playable, and indeed I had not but made an exception as we lacked a foe- I just didn't realize how much lose of control that meant- handing such to another player; and then not even trying to explain things to them.

Also- this world might be too perfect.

I'll stick around.

I was going to make Mia the Chief of Security of a neighbouring Alliance city.

T.T

I haven't read much of the IC yet, but I know that Helvetica isn't very nice. . . But isn't what she wants preventable?..

(I know about Rain World.)

And even if the making the Horde playable wasn't a good idea, there are a lot of other ways the RP could go..

Well, remember that JAriri, was prepared for Helvectia to die, either by the hand of Arkton or others. One of the problems i think is that much fo the stuff wasnt that thought out until we came to it. Not your problem of course, adding onto the fact that there wasnt much interest in this to start.

If this is over, could i get permission to do a successor of sorts on another site?

Every villain needs a villainous plan. Helvetica is of the Horde but desires more power, ultimately she doesn't care about fixing the world as much as the world loving her as a (false) savior. The world is broken to her because she's not in control of it, that is simply her point of view. She will never see Companio more than a means to an end and is wary of letting their numbers grow out of control.

She's not a good person. She's not the hero of the story. She's an antagonist meant to cause conflict. She will inevitably be defeated. I left her death possible since my second post just daring Shadow to kill her and anticlimactically end all her plans there.

Spawn is still the worst though.

EDIT: Also watching Rain World right now.
