So a few things that should be pointed out:
1. Lt Colonel is a fairly high rank for a character to be in this RP. The highest ranking Character so far is Col [I forgot his Swedish Name] who is at this point basically an NPC controlled by Bentus
2. Lt Colonel is a fairly high rank for someone of his age, 24, considering most of the officers here are only Lts and are still in their late 20s, though if someone wants to throw something in here about me being wrong, go ahead
3. It is unlikely your character will ever be given the chance to RP the command of an entire Battalion due to the nature of this RP
4. Furthermore, if your not part of Recon-2, your basically going to be sitting around base on your ass for a long tiem

1. It's an incredibly high rank that requires well into 20 years of being commissioned, nevermind going from green-to-gold (enlisted to commissioned).

2. It's an impossibly high rank unless they were raised in a society that raises child soldiers, which he wasn't.

3. They wouldn't, because the Brazilian forces would likely never be given UNSC permissions to operate in any sort of extensive capacity. Nevermind that he's just a Lt Col of an infantry BN at an age where there are people literally entire generations older than him likely in his NCO corps.

4. A very long time, given that an airborne BDE would be deployed over into the SR by either the US, Russia, the UK, or other larger nations. France or Germany likely would be direct here. An infantry BN would likely be left as a police force.

Having the helicopter do a search of the area ahead, not too far. Anything it would pick up?

Furthermore, It'll be heading home soon, better start hiding Bow-peoples.

The helicopter likely doesn't have that much fuel. Fuel, for that aircraft, likely was just for there-and-back with the recon group. There'd be some extra, but you'd get like, three or four miles view on the convoy's advantage... nothing but a lone wagoneer whom even then is concealed by foliage on the roadside. She'd see you though for sure.

So would it be acceptable to have the convoy encounter Horst on the path they are travelling down? Or should I have him go to the town where the Empire players are?

Looks pretty good. Just for some clarification to everyone, Legatia and I were discussing his idea for a character over TG so as to iron out any possible kinks. Some thoughts I've had though, might be better to just bump her down the line of succession a tad (maybe 4th in line so that she has an older sister?). That way, while she is a princess, she's far enough down the line that she wouldn't realistically expect to get the throne before her brothers and is viewed as being 'less important' than her siblings - gives her a bit more of an underdog feel and reduces the risk of her being a tad too influential ;)

Also, bit more of a personal request, any chance you could change the name to make it a bit more different to Cornelia? Otherwise I just know that I'm going to be getting them confused :P

Going to have to say denied in it's current state. Nations United pretty much summed up all the main concerns, and I'd also mention that the bio is probably a bit too much on the short side for my tastes. If you'd like some help on brainstorming alternative ideas though, feel free to ask either here or shoot off a TG :)

I'm going to defer to United on this one, since they've got a better handle on the recon squad than me at this point ;) Although an alternative option could be to have him be stopped at a small town on the route to Italica that the UN will be approaching. That way he could interact with them once they arrive? Maybe be asked by the townspeople to help 'defend' them at first?

It'll be a small, rural forest village. I'm basing it off of Coda from the anime, so a good estimate in terms of size would be around 600 people? As for how long, the UN would probably get there either when they make camp or the next day. Although how long that translates in terms of rl time is a bit more up in the air I'm afraid.

Looking into it all, Coda village would be well within audio range of the cannon fire of the main gun from the Bradley, but only just barely depending on certain atmospheric conditions.

First off, Coda is nestled into the woods iirc.

That'll dull the sound of most of the gunfire, but additionally, so too would atmospheric thickness. The atmosphere is humid and hot in the outerlying areas, it's noted by Itami as being such. If we put into context the heat, the humidity, and the relative distances involved, we actually get a picture of there being a chance that while he'd hear it, it'd be nothing more than very faint, very distant popping sounds. Over the sounds of his own horses, personnel, and the rest of the village about him, it'd be negligible that he'd hear it. It might come up as an advance scout report, but that brings me to Wolfenium.

Your elf most certainly heard the gunfire, sharply and clearly as distinct popping noises. I'd recommend perhaps either adding that to your post or including it in your next one.

Althea's approaching the Wolfsmund party, not Coda. I don't know how loud the gunfire would be at that distance, but if Althea could hear it, the Wolfsmund would probably hear it too, so I doubt either could.

Well, the Wolfsmund party definitely would have heard the racket we got up.

I'd need to know were you all are.

Given the rural area and the amount of gunfire, we'd need to be within 3 miles to hear. The Wolfsmund party departed Alnus at about the time you began engaging, and shortly after the weird helicopter episode, they've been hard riding (avg.horse galloping speed starts at 40-48 mph, degrading rapidly) towards Italica for 2-3 hours. Additionally, there is a slight difference in time between both party stories, usually mine and Mons going a little bit faster since we have less people

If it matters to the Convoy groups story that the Wolfsmund can hear them, then I can take this into account. If it doesn't :meh: what was all this about again?
