Unto the Breach: A Gate RP (OOC|Open|Fantasy-MT)

I might have to go away soon until the evening, but I'll work on my application today. Can someone give me a rundown on what's already happened in the RP and what kind of characters would be most needed going forward? I don't really have a clear character idea in mind right now so I'll come up with that based on what the needs are.

I feel like I should have Bentus add this to the OP at some point, but here we go:

Arc 1 [UN]: Basically Recon Platoon 1 has been dispatched on a scouting mission North of Alnus. Shortly after being deployed they had an encounter with an Oracle of some kind before engaging and destroying a group of Imperial Soldiers [~450 enemies]. After defeat the Imperials they continued on down the road and are currently moving towards Coda. Eventually they will be arrving at Italica at some point in the future

Arc 2 [Kidnappers]: A UN soldier was kidnapped by Elite Imperial soldiers and is currently being held a short distance from Alnus. Currently they are hiding from a traveling merchant elf

'Arc 3 [Imperials]: An Imperial Princess, Royal Knight, and an secretly anti-Imperial landgrave are currently in Italica discussing plans for defending the city and trying to figure out what is happening in regards to the UN invasion

Arc 4 [Side Stories]: There is currently an anti-imperial leader preparing to do something. Currently in Coda there is a healer doing stuff

EDIT: So if you are lost for a character, we could always use another magic user/native. But you are always welcome to make a Royal Knight, UN soldier, anti-imperial leader or whatever floats your boat. Feel free to shoot me a TG is you have an concerns or questions

Was going to be putting out a post for Thompson, but I can have him snoozing in the back of the Iveco while Karev and the medic have a good heart-to-heart.

Sounds perfect. I've just wrapped up my last final so will start to get my free time back. Going to be moving and filling out paperwork for the Summer over the weekend but should really be able to get back into the swing of things once next week swings around.

Well its based in that world yes. Except we're the UN instead of the JSDF and there's a lot more combat

Because in the morning I will sign my character up and I plan for him to be a German private.

Well, you do have more creative freedom in playing one, especially since you have the option to be (or not to be) a bad guy. You can only play dubious patriots for the UN troops at best, and restricted to real life militaries and organizations.
