A vague implication that Buckman is less than capable controlling a very powerful character, one that is entirely unfounded, is not a fact. It's entirely within Buckman's rights to be offended by that.

Hoo boy. Knowing the past events that just played out on the discord, and knowing that you've seriously been power-wanking Eridan in the threads there, I'm going to have to say no to this. I remember asking Aet about the stuff you said in the thread, and part of his response seems to go well here, so, to reiterate that:

"Eridan's Hope powers are canonically really powerful, but they haven't been used to the level of planet-destruction. In fact, the only feats for his wand are besting Sollux in a beam-o-war, knocking him out, and puching a hole in Feferi and Kanaya's guts. And the first one is barely a feat, considering we don't really have much to go on on Sollux's beams' power"

That being said, I'd appreciate it if Aet were to fact check the reasoning here.

I don't have an issue with an increase in power, provided there's either a proper reason within Homestuck (in which case, due to my lack of familiarity with the franchise, I'll be asking Aet to factcheck), or a proper reason within the TAO story for the increase in power (such as, say, when Wilfre made a deal with the Daeva to get more power), but given what your arc for Eridan calls for, and the history regarding the Discord server, I have to say Planet Level is too much.

Fact-checker checking in. It's true that we don't have good feats for Sollux's lasers, but I will say that a fully realized Prince of Hope would most likely be able to do quite a bit of damage with their powers. There's still no precedent for planet-level, though, with Hope's best feat being Jake (a Page, canonically one of the most powerful classes when realized) being able to survive mind-controlled Jade trying to get him thanks to a sphere of the stuff.

Truth be told (haha), I am absolutely terrified right now. Not just at the people who hate me for the views I hold, but also because I am digging myself a deeper hole every single time I try to speak. Buckman, please, please don't fucking do anything.

Directed omniscience as in Tzeentch allows him to view glimpses of a person's history. This was used before in order to learn Kadoor's full name. It'll never beused for anything like metagaming or something.

I'd say supersonic or supersonic+ for Eridan. Not sure what timescale homestuck operates on, but it's fair to say it's very fast.

Eridan's weaknesses aren't really explicitly pointed out in Homestuck. If I were to add any beyond "normal troll", I'd be modifying canon. I'd say that his more mental weaknesses are tunnel vision, allowing enemies to attack his periphery - the only thing I could think of without making stuff up on the spot.

Eridan's increase in power is because Tzeentch has sort of possessed him, and he's been elevated to the point of being fully realised. Whereas before he was a failed Hero of Hope (a Noble), Tzeentch artificially levelled him up to the highest level possible. It's not so much Tzeentch making him strong, as unlocking the strength that he could have had - especially as a player who embodies what so far seems to be the most physically, directly powerful aspect.

Specifically, I ask whether the application would be acceptable should I revise Eridan's AP to be continent level, or multi-continent level - a level that's nowhere near someone such as Draigo or Kongou. His DP will remain at town level, at most.

Yes, Country Level AP is a bit higher than the Dura of many of the characters, but there's an actual canon reasoning for it; Highly leveled mega Pokemon are consistently shown to be on par with lower-powered legendary Pokemon, such as Mewtwo, the Legendary Birds, and the Legendary Beasts, and Ty, as a highly leveled Pokemon with a mega evolution, would thus scale.

I'm not the one who accepted Draigo. Either way, Draigo as a character is about that level of power, and quite obviously so. One does not need to powerscale off of characters through two or three degrees of separation to make an argument for Draigo's power. Meanwhile, canonically, it seems that Eridan isn't actually anywhere near Planet Level AP, meaning that increasing him from Wall Level to Planet Level would have to be done in the RP at some point, or as art of his backstory, and when you get that kind of power, we ask that there is a very good, and necessary reason the character has to be bumped up to that tier.

I am still iffy with a Continent-Level Eridan. If you can convince the other Co-OPs that Continent Level would be acceptable, then I'd accept it. But the point of the story, as you've put it, is for Eridan to gain power then fall from grace. He doesn't need to gain that much power to do that.

And I think I should mention that, while powerful, Draigo's main experience is banishing Daemons. He's defeated even Daemon Princes, but that's partly because he, as the leader of an order dedicated to eradicating the Daemonic, knows all the super secret cheats to weakening and defeating Daemons.
