So perhaps Zalgo's song awakens Ganon and that's when he destroys the castle, reawakens the Guardians and whatnot and basically ruins Hyrule.
Then, the Gate is destroyed, leaving the group (more people can join if they wish!) to seek another way out of Hyrule.

I don't think there are any rules. Obviously, if the character is from a specific Persona universe (3, 4, 5), they'll have to follow that game's rules (the Dark Hour, Metaverse, etc). Obviously, the character in that case can just earn the ability to summon Personas at any time somehow. If they're from an OC universe, they can follow whatever rules you give them.

Fair enough... I believe that there is a way to summon Personae in the real world that is canon, so I'll do some research.

Edit: Forgot one, really obvious thing: the Dark Hour takes place in the real world. Now I just need to figure out how to get an Evoker into the hands of a young member of the British nobility.

Here's my promised application! Interestingly enough (or I would consider it so, at least) his motivations are pretty much the opposite of the Phantom Thieves'.

Name: Alistair Timothy Alexander Paxton

Ancient One Half-blood: No

Species: Human

Age: 17

Appearance: Alistair is slight and lean of build and is fairly tall, standing at six feet and two inches. He has black hair, jade eyes and an angular face. In the Metaverse, Alistair’s outfit consists of the armour of an idealised medieval knight, representative of his desire to protect the traditional structures of his society that he believes are collapsing around him. Coriolanus, meanwhile, looks something like this (though obviously not being a statue).

Gender: Male

Powers/abilities: Alistair is a well-practiced Persona user, having awakened his Persona, Coriolanus, about a year ago. As Personae come, Coriolanus is first and foremost a Physical bruiser, specialising in dealing damage with Physical skills while being able to take a fair amount of punishment in return; he also possesses reasonably strong auxiliary skills of the Agi (fire) tree. At the same time, Alistair has taught himself the use of the spear both through experience in the Metaverse and gladiator-style drilling against a wooden post.

Weaknesses: Coriolanus is weak to skills of the Psi and Kouha trees and is correspondingly vulnerable to psychic and holy/judgement-type attacks from across the universe. He is also not particularly agile. Alistair, meanwhile, while not being a pushover by human standards, is not exactly the physical peak of homo sapiens either and pales in comparison to many of the beings in this roleplay.

Attack Potency: Alistair without his Persona can quite easily be described as a middling-to-high 10-B; I'd probably put Coriolanus at somewhere within 9-B and 9-A, though this will increase as time goes on.

Equipment: Alistair typically carries a smartphone, which, to be fair, is equipped with the Metaverse Navigator app, but otherwise wears (admittedly expensive) civilian clothing and has little that is dangerous commonly on his person. When planning to fight as a Persona user, however, he comes prepared, carrying a bill (polearm) pilfered from his home’s armoury as well as darts as a secondary ranged option. The one thing that he does make sure to keep with him at all times is his Evoker, in the shape of a pendant that he wears around his neck, for the possibility that he may ever need to call upon Coriolanus in reality.

Universe of Origin: Persona

Affiliation: Debatable. Alistair is definitely motivated by abstract concepts of justice and righteousness and will almost always seek to do what he believes is the right thing; he is, however, very much a utilitarian and more than willing to resort to methods that many would find distasteful should he feel that it is necessary to achieve some greater good. Furthermore, he has considerable contempt for people whom he sees as unintelligent - those being most people, particularly those of lower social class than himself or of poor education - and can come across as aloof and patronising to those people.

The ring around the ship is used for centrifugal gravity to provide some of the rooms constant gravity when the ship isn't moving forward.

You just have to use this scale for the attack potency, then I think you'll be good to go.
