Posted: Fri May 26, 2017 3:38 pmSo after the Infinity battle, I have it planned that Kongou will be resupplied with food, ammo, etc., which will be when Chase and Terrell secretly set cameras up everywhere to spy on Tadz and the other heroes. However, instead of a normal supply ship meeting them, like I had originally planned, I think I'll have a Cornerian factory ship come, and make upgrades to Kongou's armor by having taken copious amounts of nanomaterials from her world. Anyway, the upgrades will strictly be to physical armor, and will be as follows:
This will bring her armor-only/shieldless survivability up to about the level of the irl Iowa Class, and the thickest part of her armor will be where the belt is, and will total around 2 feet thick of steel, plus about 0.5 inches of carbon nanotube layering over the internal structure. Obviously all painted.
