My father is Japanese and my mother is Chinese. I speak Japanese to my father, Chinese to my mother, and English to both (my Chinese is slightly more fluent than my Japanese because here in Singapore, 70% of the population is Chinese, ergo I use it more often).

I picked up a little bit of conversational German over a couple of holidays, mainly because I was infatuated with the Wagner operas I was listening to. I also attended a conversational Malay course when I was in secondary school, but I've forgotten all of it already (except for "Maaf Cikgu, boleh saya pergi ke tandas"?, which means "Excuse me, Teacher, may I go to the toilet?").

That's pretty cool. I'm gonna have to take French or Spanish but alas I've heard those classes often kill interest in learning other languages.

Yeah, it's great! The way Tadz's psychic powers will work will be based on the way they work in the show (emotion-driven, really flashy, and can't use offense/defense at the same time).
