However over time they were slowly beaten back to the hills of Eastern Armenia by the 1040's the threat of the Seljuk Turks it seems the kingdom was in a dire state. But although from god himself a savior came a Greek-Armenian General by the name of Davit Kommanoues led a revolt against the Bagratid family ruling, eventually taking the throne for himself in 1043 AD. Now the Armenian people stud united against the forces that were surrounding them, King Davit I looked to the north to see the Kingdom of Georgia ripping itself apart. King Davit saw only one way to defend himself and that was to expand, as such in 1045 AD he invaded the kingdom of Georgia with the goal of conquering it. The war was quick many Georgian nobles simply surrendered as Davit and his army march through their lands killing anyone opposed to his new rule over Georgia.

However it was during the Armenian-Turk war did Davit gain his name when he completely destroyed the Turk army at the battle of Artshka would would lead to the take of Azerbaijan and Northern Iran. This was war cemented Davit reign and lead him to declare himself Emperor, King of Armenia, Shan of Persia, King of Kings of the Caucasus. Now he set his mind towards the internals of his realm however he was not able to do so as he eventually died in 1067 being succeeded by his son Arshavir II. He expanded the empire north into the very far North of the Caucasus where the tribes of Alan's and the Chechen bring them to heel. From there, the empire focused mainly on trade and bringing goods from the east into western Europe which it has done very well so far.

One small issue, the Seljuks never invaded, because I became a shield wall for Christians, in the Middle East.

From the present day Duchy of Navarre, the humble family repelled various Muslim invasions and crafted the present days counties and duchies.

It encompassed a couple succession wars outside of France, French war with Aquitaine and Burgundy, and the well known war of French Succession. It seems the reason Britain was winning in this war, is because everyone else in Europe hated you.
