You can fire one shot, that will almost definitely miss, and even if it hits, it probably won't kill like modern guns. We can fire dozens of arrows by the time you can reload your hand cannon. Even when the Spanish conquered the Aztecs, their more modern guns were so useless and laughed at by the Natives that almost all the fighting was done with swords. The reason the Spanish won was because diseases. Now, you may have some diseases, but it won't be anywhere near as effective as smallpox. Besides, guess who has smallpox and the black plague? You if you come over. Not to mention the better familiarity with the terrain and the massive difficulty of transferring a good amount of troops over to the Americas. Besides, while I admit we don't have a large navy, our ships are as updated as the Japanese, not to mention the pirates. Have fun with Yellow Fever too.

Also, the shit the Spanish had was very ineffective and was laughed at by the natives. Arrows can be fired much faster and are much deadlier once we start dipping them in frog poison (yes we plan on doing that). And I wouldn't be cut off from Florida for two reasons. One: I plan to expand over there by land soon (you really think I'm gonna give up access to the Mississippi?). And two: I have something else up my sleeve which I'd rather not share. And you won't be immune to smallpox by the time you get here. We don't irl start getting vaccinations until the 1900s.

I know I won't be immune, but you won't either, and I'm guessing you think I'm just going to use Hand Cannons. If I'm coming earlier, I won't have as much tech, true, but I will be much better at dealing with you kinda arrow shit. Also, I'm probably going to get that too, unless you try to take the entire South, which you can't. You're population is around a million. I'm coming soon, around say a couple years for my first Settlment, and my explorers are coming my next post. We've done it before IRL, except we went into Washington. And we did get smallpox. And leprosy. And tuberculosis. And the black plauge. As you can see we are still around. It's just a cleanliness that Europe did not experience. And Hawaii's a lot of land for 144,000 Hawaiians. We also have alot of plants(medicinal or otherwise) and a vast knowlegde of medicine (despite stereotypes of indigenous peoples). We had all the advantages that Europe and many other places did not have(or at least not all of those advantages). Don't underestimate us.

I need proof for...all of this. When did the Hawaiians land in Washington? Some random Polynesians landed in Chile a LONG time ago but that's about it. No Washington. No one is talking about tuberculosis, and when the hell did any Polynesians get Black Plague irl? Ever? And your medicinal herbs can't cure smallpox and Black Plague, something for which your people never would've even heard of. Even if they had, you know how long it took modern-day medicine to create cures/vaccinations for these diseases, even with access to these herbs? Besides, my rats would be easily spreading it to you unless you somehow have baths in the Americas after just landing here (which I still have major unaddressed issues with, see the previous post). Even if you had baths for some divine reason, that's not gonna keep you from getting some of the most virulent plagues that ever existed.

Iffria, I'm putting an executive veto on a few thing in your IC posts.

1. Ships 40-60ft long could not sustain 80 people, as they wouldn't even have room to walk, let alone navigate. Yes the boat CAN hold that many people but it's designated for island hopping for other Hawaii islands closely at the LEAST. I'm going to limit you to about 20 people per boat. If you still want your 2800 people on the voyage, it's fine, just add more ships.

2. You absolutely could not have known about the Baja peninsula beforehand, much less get there within a month. Yes, Polynesians sailed the Pacific, but first, they never reached North America. Second, even if they did, highlight the fact that they were not Hawaiian. Hawaiians have no recollection over what other Polynesian tribes did hundreds of years ago.

3. Thirdly and most importantly, you aren't immune to smallpox and the plague. You have not been exposed to it. Plus "herbs and medicinal " plants can't cure smallpox and the plague. I'm sorry, that's just too much of a stretch.
