Big Rig asked one of his bodyguards as he sat on his throne, gazing at the two combatants from his personal box. "Don't worry. That Colt .45 Single Action only has one bullet." The bodyguard said as Big Rig drank a shot of Jack Daniels, Big Brent grabbing a spiked baseball bat as Karl opened fire, the bullet grazing the skinhead's shoulder. Big Brent charged at Karl, his older opponent rushing towards a hatchet dangling from a nearby pole.

The two charged at each other, Big Brent with his spiked baseball bat raised over his head with both hand and Karl keeping his blade from the ground at an acute angle. Karl had seen how Big Brent had fought, which was to knock bigger and stronger opponents down to the ground with a few well placed strikes and the momentum of his charge before going in for the kill. At the last second, Karl swung the machete, Big Brent's momentum allowing the mostly dull blade to slice through the neck with a single strike, the body continuing to run for a few seconds before collapsing to the ground, a few brief spasms before it stopped moving, blood soaking the ground. Luca escorted Karl out of the arena as Big Brent's lackeys walked in and pissed and spat all over their former leader's corpse, the well-deserved desecration followed by the skinhead being dragged out of the arena. When Karl returned to General Population, there was a massive feast in celebration of Karl's victory.

"There's a new Dhampyr in town. She doesn't look like an enforcer of the law, so I doubt that she will be replacing Charlie as Sheriff." Tömörbataar, the Mongol member of The Circle of The Sun, said to Tarkhundaraba, The Circle's token Hittite, and Itzamatul, the Circle's Token Mayan. "We are The Circle of If Lucian wanted Argus dead, he wouldn't use assassins to achieve that end, so she is not threat to the Chieftain of Faytown." Bertrand Mossé said to Tömörbataar, Josias Rudhall, wearing his Confederate uniform, on his right, and Tokudaiji Hikotoshi, clad in his Samurai armor and brandishing his katana, on his left. Before the conversation could continue, large doors of jewel encrusted ivory opened, Cinnéididh Mac Colgáin, Lord Commander of The Circle of The Sun, walking into the Feasting Hall of the Jade tower, the headquarters and home of the Circle of the Sun, an elite order of Demigods sworn to defend the Chieftain of Faytown, flanked on both sides by bodyguards (Cinnéididh Mac Colgáin, like every Lord Commander before him, was constantly under threat of being killed for his position by the more ambitious members of the Circle of the Sun). "I am afraid that I am the bearer of bad news. As you are well aware, tensions with the Werewolves are rising. The Packs, believing us responsible for the scarcity of game in their territory, have united under Lucian. However, this is not the news I bring today. Hastia, Daughter of Argus, has been kidnapped. Flavius, Pe-meht-Khonsu, and Sámmol, three of our finest warriors, were found lifeless, the totem of Lucian's Pack sticking out of the back of Sámmol. Fortunately for those among you who oppose war with the Werewolves, Argus noticed that the killing blows were too precise to have been dealt by a Werewolf. Bertrand, Josias, and Tokudaiji will accompany the newcomer in rescuing Hastia before it is too late." Cinnéididh Mac Colgáin said to the assembled members of the Circle of The Sun.

Outside Ringfang's Armor. Faytown
"So you're the escort Argus told me about? I was expecting someone more muscular." Vanessa Salazar said to the three warriors who approached her. "I see that you are the newcomer. Josias Rudhall, at your service. The filthy Yankee on my left is Bertrand Mossé and the Samurai on his left is Tokudaiji Hikotoshi. They hate each other; Bertrand hates Tokudaiji because Bertrand's unit fought in the Pacific during WWII and Tokudaiji hates Bertrand because Bertrand was born in what would become France and France was one of the three countries whose diplomatic intervention forced the Japanese to concede the Liaodong Peninsula in 1895. Me and Bertrand hate each other because we fought on opposite sides during the Gallic Wars, the Hundred Years War, and the American Civil War. The only reason we haven't killed each other is that our Oaths forbid us from doing so." Josias Rudhall said to Vanessa. "Vanessa Salazar. I have already been provided Silver and Mercury bullets, but if I am going to tangle with Werewolves, I need something more sustainable than what I have right now." Vanessa said to Josias. "Well, Balrog Ringfang has what you need. However, we only have 30,000 gold to spend on armor." Josias Rudhall said to Vanessa as they entered Ringfang's Armor.
Ringfang's Armor
"She needs the best armor you can give her for 30,000 gold." Bertrand Mossé said to Balrog Ringfang, the mute Half-Elf smiling with glee as she grabbed the Ogre Hide Helm of Wisdom, The Oaken Breastplate of Endurance, Spider Skin Gloves, and the Orcish Pauldrons of Strength, and placed it on the counter before pointing to the dressing room. After Vanessa had put on the armor, Josias Rudhall tossed the bag of coins on the counter before leaving with his three travelling companions.

Sergei said as he pointed his ballistic knife and fired into Vanessa's shoulder, tossing it aside and pulling out a bowie knife. "You recognize his? A little gift from Reverend Lionel. This blade was used by Quincy Morris to stab Dracula. I will gut you with a fish. Like mother, like daughter." Sergei said as he spun the blade around for a few moments before charging in. Vanessa blocked the bowie knife, only to be kicked in the stomach by Sergei. She responded by slicing open his belly with a well placed swing, Sergei dropping the bowie knife and kneeling to the ground, his free hand clutching his entrails. "You are pathetic. First you kill my mother with a weapon that was stolen from someone's grave, then you get your men killed in some foolhardy attempt to regain the number two position, you chose to fight someone who has spent her life learning how to kill people while your skills remained static, and now you will die at the hands of the one you wronged, alone and forgotten." Vanessa said as she sliced him from forehead to right cheek.

Japan. 796 BC
"You almost got yourself killed, my young friend. You need to control your anger. One wrong move and he would have killed you then and there." Hirohashi Tanenaga said to his one eyed apprentice as he stepped over the corpse of the warrior that Tokudaiji had killed by slicing the head from forehead to left cheek and smacked him in the back of the head with the reed he used as a flyswatter as hard as he can, the young warrior in the bronze armor rubbing the back of his head with his free hand for a brief moment, their comrades beginning to loot the corpses of their fallen foes. The two then joined the looting, scavengers that had been flying overhead feasting on the deceased.
Runestone Road. Maine. Present Day
"Well, now that we have gotten that mess out of the way and discovered that the Assembly of the New Testament is involved, we should get going." Bertrand Mossé said to the three members of the party as they continued heading down the Runestone Road.

Bertrand Mossé said to the rest of the party as they headed towards an abandoned shack and entered it, closing the door behind them and lighting the fireplace. "We should get going once we have warmed up. If we put off leaving until the blizzard stops, the Assembly of the New Testament will have evacuated the camp by the time we arrive." Vanessa Salazar said to the rest of the group. "None of you, not even the Dhampyr, can survive out in the open." A yellow eyed hairy figure said to the party, Josias Rudhall pulling out his revolver and pointed it at the Werewolf. "Red Dawn. Son of Blue Lightning. Grandson of Black Wind. A member of Grey Thunder's pack. I bet that you are also seeking shelter from the blizzard? Grey Thunder does not desire a war with Faytown, hence why you did not try to kill us the moment we walked in." Josias said to Red Dawn, cocking the hammer of the Colt 1851 Navy. "Yes. Me, Sven, and Oleg were sent to intercept Assembly of the New Testament scouts on their way back to Camp Gideon, but the blizzard split us up." Red Dawn said to Josias Rudhall, the Demigod lowering his gun. "Considering that we have a common enemy, you are allowed to join us. We will need a guide if we hope to reach Camp Gideon. However, you must return to Grey Thunder once Hastia is rescued." Bertrand Mossé said to Red Dawn, the Werewolf simply nodding in approval. Once the party had been warmed up, they began heading north again, only stopping to take shelter or kill an Assembly of the New Testament scout.
